Well no convenient droid drone to pocket for the Resistance to reverse engineer but he wasn't going to lose sleep over it - he heard they had some wiz-kid Jedi working on their droid designs so he was fine with leaving it in their capable hands. There was a comeback he could give about the "hope" part but it involved some Jedi-isms so he just grunted in agreement.

"Give me a plan over some optimism any day."

Not untrue or against his own thinking.

Creative was fine.

"Creativity I have in spades." he assured her as he straightened out his outfit slightly before raising an eyebrow in her direction, "Put me in, coach. I'm ready."

Stepping out of the vehicle, he made sure his com-link was connected via a small receiver in his ear. If anyone asked it would be so he could listen to his droid without needing to have it actually speak in binary aloud to him. As he approached the doors, Godric ignored the line - including the young human man at the front who kept loudly complaining to the bouncer that Terra was expecting him.

Odd - Terra wasn't even known to frequent this casino.

Either way, the bouncer seemed very unimpressed and turned the other man away before turning to Godric and his droid. The bouncer eyed the droid oddly.

Godric tapped one ear and spoke - too loudly and slightly off-pitch.

"Assistance droid." he explained to the bouncer, "I'm mostly deaf so it hears for me and sends it to my good ear. Its not a problem, right?"

He had some credits in one pocket just in case it was.

Good. You'll need it, she said. Creativity was a valuable commodity, one that was often overlooked by people in... well, in a variety of walks of life.

You're up then. Good luck, she said as she watched him step out of the van. The droid floated slightly behind him and to his side as he headed toward the entrance, and she was once again impressed at how this worked. She could see and hear everything, but her physical distance and lack of presence gave her deniability. It was just excellent.

Terra watched as everything unfolded and the bouncer gave a long, hard look at the Jedi and the droid.

All droids have to be inspected, he said, jutting a finger out toward an area to the side. A scanner machine and a second man - technician type by the look of it and the precise man that Terra had paid off - waited for the two to walk through.

I've paid this guy to let the droid through. Just don't do anything to draw attention, she said into the comlink. Hopefully her money was as good on him as it was on pretty much everyone else on Omega.

Well he hoped that the technician she had bribed was worth the credits she had spent on him - assuming she had used credits rather than, say, threatening the safety of his friends and family or something. If she did, he hoped that she hadn't actually gone through with it, otherwise he was going to feel bad about the whole thing later.

He nodded to the technician in question and presented the droid to him, allowing the technician to start 'looking it over' on the physical side of things while Godric just stood there, trying to look like he was mostly deaf now that the droid was being examined. It was difficult considering he could hear two of the bouncers chatting about keeping an eye on him to make sure none of the rougher customers took advantage of him.

Honestly it was almost charitable.

"Your droid is clean."
the technician said with lingering eye contact, "Your mechanic must make a lot of credits."

Godric raised an eyebrow and smiled guilelessly.

"No idea why a skilled mechanic wouldn't."

Taking his droid, Godric was allowed to enter the casino and as he did he immediately started looking around. He deliberately made to keep his gaze on some of the slot machines - which just so happened to be near a fire-stairwell. Wandering over, he took up a station as a one-armed bandit at one of the machines for a moment, muttering to the droid as he was far enough away from other gamblers to avoid being overheard.

"Do these kinds of places uphold fire and safety regulations?"

If they did then the door and stairwell was out of the question - it would cause an alarm to ring out across the entire casino and the security would be able to tell which door had caused it.

Terra watched as he made his way past the mechanic and let out a little sigh of relief that they'd managed to get through the first screening. Of course, it wasn't her that was going to be roughed up (or worse) if they got stopped, but still...

He made his way inside and the droid scanned the surrounding environment, giving her a good look at everything that was going on inside.

As he made his way over to the slot machines, she tried to punch in command codes in time, but it was too late.

Hey, what'd I say about keeping him away from the slots! Get away from there! she said, but it was too late. One of the guards was already on his way over, large and unhappy looking, and put his hand on the man's shoulder.

Excuse me, sir. Droids are not allowed near the slots. You'll have to come with me, he said. Terra was cursing in her head already. Hopefully this wasn't about to turn into "let's rough up the potential cheater." It was really not what she needed out of this. It would be all the element of surprise gone.

Godric did his best to react how a mostly-deaf man would to someone coming up behind him to place a hand on his shoulder, ignoring Terra's comments for now. There was a method to his madness... mostly. He had, actually, wanted to know about the fire regulations but he had other ideas if they didn't. Trouble was that almost every single plan he had involved him getting to the staff-only areas of the casino and they were all behind locked doors.

He needed the keys.

"What? Oh!" he smiled guilelessly at the guard, "I'm sorry I didn't hear you very well - my droid is to help with my hearing. Does that mean I can't play any games?"

He allowed himself to be guided (read: manhandled) away from the slot machines by the guard. As they were going to pass a group of other guests he carefully moved his shoulder just right to clip one of them, the impact spinning him into the guard gently. It wasn't a violent move, but it was accompanied by an angry alien hissing at him in a language he didn't know as the guard tried to keep an eye on both of them.

Which meant he was much less capable of noticing that one hand was used by Godric to catch himself against him, while the other fished out a security card from where it had been clipped to the guard's belt. Moving away from the guard a step to "steady himself", Godric slipped the card past his belt into the leg of his trousers. To anyone in the know, he was just using a pickpocket and slight of hand trick.

To Godric, he was actually using the Force to keep the card stuck to the side of his leg underneath his trousers, fully in his control as the guard deposited him at the end of the bar for a talking to. If it was going to involve violence remained to be seen.
