Little slipped past Mira Albion's ears. Among the Crusaders and Acolytes, it was totally unknown that Mira Albion had a child, but secrets could not be kept forever. A few Sith Masters had learned, somehow, of the existence of Mira's child, Morgan. One of these was a certain woman by the name of Guinevere, and Mira had learned she sent one of her stronger apprentices to hunt down Morgan.

Mira knew the outcome of the battle, little escaped Mira when it came to her daughter, and loyalties were easily bought on the Smuggler's Moon. Now, the Echani woman searched hard the temple of Korriban for the assassin woman Guinevere, and she swore if she did not find her soon she would murder an acolyte to satisfy her wrath. But, what exactly was Mira angry at? Guinevere would duel Mira for this, that was already decided. But Mira had faith in the daughter she had trained and she cared not that an acolyte had been sent to hunt her down. So why was her wrath stirred against this woman?

Simple, she had ordered the hit without first dueling and consulting Mira, and such an affront could not be forgiven till a duel was had. Afterward, perhaps some tea and cakes could be shared. But first, Mira needed her duel, she needed her battle. The battle was what Mira lived for these days, and nothing else stirred her than the prospect of a fight.

Striding into the room she believed she felt Guinevere from, the blind Master called out.
"Draw your saber Guinevere, I'm going to kill you."
Was she really? Probably not, but she knew those words, when from her mouth, could stir the blood of even Sith Lords.

Like she had planned, Venelin went down like a sack of bricks. Her plan had worked.

Mira Albion, one of the Empire's most proficient Echani Duelists, would most likely be on her way to Korriban with enough anger boiling in her to sear a steak on her forehead. Guinevere thumbed one of the fallen Acolyte's lightsabers she had pocketed from their little session. It was then that Guinevere sensed a dark presence in the Force. It was full of pain, of anger, the aura of someone very powerful.

Mira.

"Who, me?" Guinevere ignited her crimson blade and gave the blind woman in front of her a playful smirk. "If a duel is what you seek, then so be it. Now, I don't know about you, but I don't fancy trashing my chambers. I'll be outside."

Guinevere melted into the floor, and reappeared outside of the door where she soon briskly walked to the Grounds. She turned on her heel, ready to address the Sith Juggernaut.

"If you hadn't already noticed, Venelin was a terrible Sith. A Fool. He had no place here. And then I thought to myself, Mira Albion, one of the most prefecient duelists the Empire has ever known. How do I get a hold of her? Well, you're a hard woman to get a hold of, Albion. So, what better way? Send a non-threat to your Daughter to be demolished. Venelin was no more a threat than a sand fly." She bowed to Mira. "So now you are here. Let's just say I'm rusty in the dueling department."

Mira laughed, a high pitched, light laugh that came out in an almost childish manner as the Sith master disappeared. Turning, Mira followed what she 'saw' was Guinevere's presence through the Force. Once outside, Mira let her battle madness take control. With a flick of her wrist, her Saberstaff was in her hand, ignited, and spinning wildly. Grinning, she responded.
"You actually want to meet with me? You're either brave or completely insane! Hah! Though that's not too big of a problem, all the best people are after all."

If Guinevere was rusty, then Mira resolved to hold herself back. Most people couldn't tell when Mira held back, she was insane either way. However, there was a marketable difference between Mira's ability when she fought to kill, and when she fought to duel. When she fought to duel, she gave openings, held back on the Force, and focused mainly on lightsaber combat. When she fought to kill, she never let her opponent have a chance to strike back, she made the Force an integral part of her every movement, and she used her lightsaber as a support to Force-based attacks she knew would hit.

Opening the duel, Mira sped forward unaided by the Force, but gathering it all the same. Her speed was remarkable even without aid of the Force, but unless Mira integrated the Force into her speed, Guinevere would likely be able to follow along with ease. The first strike came speeding forward at Guinevere's midsection, Mira's forward blade coming in to cut the woman in half.

While Mira had no doubt Guivenere could react to her first strike, it was good to note that there was no 'powered down' method of dueling on the worlds of the Sith. After all, Sith did not play with training sabers.
