Personal lore
Gatekeeper
Unlike typical holocrons, the Albion Holocron is not locked behind the Dark or Light side of the Force. However, it can only be opened by someone who is strong in the Force. Mira Albion hid the text of the holocron-book through the Force, making it so that only someone who is using the Force to 'see' can 'read' the text of the tome. This was done partially as Mira herself was blind, but also to prevent those without Force attunement from reading her techniques. There is no shard of the original creator locked away in the book, in fact there is no evidence that Mira Albion wrote the book at all if it were not for her name being listed in the very front of the book as a mark of her authorship.
Contents
Contained within the holocron-tome is details on ancient lightsaber techniques lost to history. Ways in which to increase your speed through the Force to an unprecedented degree in order to fight faster. The holocron-time also contains details of the Albion family, their lineage and where they spent most of their time training once they defected to the Sith. Particularly, it contains the ancient hyperspace routes to the planet of Ziost.
It also contains extensive regrets from Mira Albion on growing up with the Jedi and joining the Sith. The tome's contents, outside of their usefulness, is mostly a personal anecdote of hatred for both the Jedi and the Sith. Borderline propaganda for a more 'grey Jedi' approach, though filled with so much hatred for the very idea of being Jedi that such a grey line toeing would be impossible following the rules of the tome.
Intent
The intention of the device is to give Hera Albion a link to her past as well as to offer up a little bit of knowledge about the Force and lightsaber combat. As well as to add a previous character of mine to the site canon, albiet a few thousand years further back than they originally existed.
