I like the idea of the Coterie and the Rebellion's former Imperials banning together to create the True Throne/True Empire on Bastion. It goes with a plot Silverface was working on the past, with Scryer establishing an anti-Sith government on Bastion. We could possibly have Scryer and Lucian Fel be involved initially to justify the NPC numbers. Fel I was thinking of dying early on, so that there becomes less focus on my character and more on Saul and his peeps. And it gives the Coterie the same trend as the original Rebellion: started out as dissent between politicians and other influential individuals, grew into terrorists/guerilla warfare, and eventually became part of a self-proclaimed government with the potential of thwarting the Empire.

An idea for a mission or two I had proposed to Cal was the True Throne boosting its ship numbers by reclaiming the Imperial Knights Lost Fleet that was hidden in Part 1 of the timeline.

To start off, I'd recommend the territory not too terribly large, but surrounded enough that the main HQ (aka Bastion) cannot be easily targeted. My suggestion is, in addition to Bastion, this Empire-in-Exile includes Dubrillion, Bescane, and Jaemus. Muunilinst maybe too, but that's a barren wasteland so it could serve either side as a staging ground for attacks on the other.

Sounds good. I'm honestly really bad at the planning stages of this kind of thing, I'm more of a "tell me what to do and I'll do it" person, etc. So @Calixis, @The Kyzer, @Dmitri, point me in a direction and I'll get some shit done.

Can't lie, I'm going to be glad to get rid of the Coterie.

Coterie served its purpose.

Random idea. People are still doing missions. To let missions tie into the war better rather than cookie cutter, we could have on both sides have a mission pack involving the Battle of Jaemus. Of my suggested worlds, it's one of the higher priority locations, with a shipyard.

So, thoughts on a covenant thread between coterie, imperial Knights (up to you guys if a rebel representative comes too), and the Bastion folk (Lucian and, granting he wants one, Rufus) in which to speed this up? I can bring in Lucian and Lukavy (latter as a coterie echelon to show that there are still some power struggles in the coterie).

@Calixis and I were talking about the IKs turning on the Coterie, eventually. The stuff with Norb + the fact its still populated by Sith being the primary motivation. Wouldn't really target the indies.

Either way, this is entirely @Calixis' plot and I'm down for whatever he deems appropriate.

Makes sense, especially considering there are five former dark councillors in it. And can be very interesting. I'd be game for Lukavy eventually betrayed.

Doesn't even have to be directly. They could leak a coterie commander's location to the empire.

Lmao. There are no "commanders" in the Coterie, man. Its not a paramilitary group. Its just a bunch of sneaky ass dudes who want to see the Empress dead.

Yeah, depending on how many actually survive the war, I can see the True Throne cutting their losses and trying to take out the Coterie's Sith membership, possibly along with some of the more morally-questionable/Sith apologists. They want an Empire free of the Sith, and that goes for the Coterie as well, given that they don't just want to replace Andraste with another Dark sider.

The Imperial Knights currently have two Mission threads on-going, with one of them gaining them the support of a formally (and recently) imprisoned Imperial Admiral. In the event it's a success, they're potentially going to be getting a few more ships to aid in their efforts once things 'go loud'. It's not a huge contribution, but it certainly helps.

Currently, Saul and Vica are meeting with Black Noise's Chiss to arrange passage for the True Throne to move safely into the Outer Rim territories.

Another meeting between the Knights and Lucian sounds pretty appropriate to me. Isn't Vica, for all intents and purposes, the Coterie's leader at this point?

By commander I was referring to a second tiered leader, a higher up. For example, Lukavy and Zlogonje are higher ups but not THE leader.

Uhhhh. No. If they're not on the roster at this point, they aren't in the group. They're off in Royston Spektor land where they don't matter because they haven't done anything.

My thoughts were they'd be able to be mission npc antagonists or red shirts for the betrayal thread, as I don't imagine people will go to the thread so their characters can be killed. Imagine the storm of going after the second Norb. Up to you.

I'm okay with NPC baddies and all, but they'd be regular members at best. This is why I want to purge the sub-faction:

Raif/Royston - Inactive
Twisted Reality/Drakus - Inactive
Relent/Vecna - Deceased/Inactive
Frank/Dilara - Inactive
Noire/Caden - Inactive
Norby/Ugniss - Inactive
Gamov/Mila - Inactive
Norby/Norb - Probably Dead
Kyle/Adra - Active
Lucid/Joseph - Active-ish
SilentWind/Avaro - Active-ish

So, where shall we go from here?

We obviously need to whip up a thread involving Saul and Lucian, likely Vica as well. Name an appropriate location and I'll get to it. The negotiations regarding moving through Chiss space are also on-going.
