With one force already dispatched to take the spaceport of Kala'uun, Nem'ro himself, in his flagship, the The Flying Dianoga, took a second force to the capital of Ryloth: Lessu. The goal was simple. Force the seat of the Twi'lek government to surrender, thus making Nem'ro the true ruler of Ryloth.

Nem'ro's force consisted of two parts: the Dianoga and its company of starfighters, with himself and his top lieutenant, Seyfer Quasar (@Insalius), acting as commanding officers from above. Down below, the ground forces were being led by Nem'ro's allies in the Syndicate and a company of Besadii mercenaries. Their goal was to either take the city by force or convince the city to surrender. Nem'ro was okay with either outcome.

Once all of his allies were in place, he would begin. And then, Ryloth would be his.

I..don't know why I'm here..after everything that has happened, the men who did this..the Hutt..I should hate them for what they did to Day...But, I don't. They had fed her to a sar'laac on this very planet and forced me to see her decomposing body. I failed her then and I failed the order. I am a failure as a Jedi and as a person, I know this all too well. But, I know for one thing that all life is precious...and I shall move forward with the call to never do it again. I will make a change and bring a light to the galaxy, I am a Jedi.

Vorro sat along the streets of Lessu, looking out towards the people that passed along. He was here to find peace with himself and the events that had happened all those months in the past. Wearing simply his robes and carrying his wooden staff, he was here to live among the people and to aide them in healing and farming. The Twi'leks were resilient and kind. They had brought him in as one of their own, and together they lived in harmony and learn to move on and find the peace he needed. He had no idea what life had in store for him on this day, but he knew one thing--that it was a beautiful day. Glancing up towards the sun as he sat there, he would have a smile on his face. I wish you could see this Day.

Oh today might be a good day... or it might be a bad day.

Honestly, Parvis wasn't sure which and that was absolutely fine by him for today. He was outfitted in his armour again, armed with his rifle, his pistol, his knife, two explosive grenades and one concussion grenade (the grenades being hidden on the back of his belt). He grinned behind his helmet a little bit as he whistled a jaunty little tune as he marched on down to the destination as Nem'ro had pointed it out to him.

Lessu.

It was a stupid little place but it would be useful to the Cartel and he might get a chance to kill some Jedi or some annoying republic karkers or maybe just some rebellious tail-heads... the skies were the limit to be honest.

Keeping an eye on the streets out ahead of him and the rooftops as he marched into the city itself. With his rifle clutched tightly in his hand, Parvis marched into Lessu with one goal in mind.

He was going to make sure someone died for this kriff-hole of a city.

The bridge of the Flying Dianoga was incredibly organized thanks to Seyfer's training and choices for the crew of the ship placed in his command. He had hand-picked each of these people, including his Executive Officer, and he had trained them as best as he could on his own with the same skills he had learned from the Juranno Military Academy on Alderaan. It was doubtful that there was another ship in control of the Hutt Cartel that had a crew as highly trained as his, something that gave the droid a measure of pride. Even now, as they hovered within firing range of the city of Lessu, they were calmly going about their tasks as ordered. He brought himself back to the moment, just in time to hear a cascade of status reports from his crew.

"Sir, critical locations have been identified and targeted with all starboard weapons. Power station relay is being targeted by the ion cannon. Lethal order of priority stands at Planetary Administration, the Market district, then the Spaceport. All weapons primed and ready to fire on command." A fellow Elensalite known as Kyber reported first, the main weapons specialist for the corvette as he had a special affinity for targeting and long range combat in general. It was just after he finished that the man's lover, the Elensalite known as Onyx, gave his own report as the Executive Officer. "The slicers have hacked into the communications grid. All calls for reinforcements are being blocked. We are prepared for Lord Nem'ro to deliver his demands at your command."

The others rang out their own statuses, from keeping the engines ready for evasive maneuvers to readying the tractor beams in the event they were needed. Seyfer stood at the Captain's chair, looking over a hologram representation of the city and the identified points of interest and possible enemies. He had all the data fed to his console, taking in all the factors to prepare the best possible strategy for their attack. The prognosis was...very heavily in their favor. Still, it wouldn't do to be overconfident. He looked to Nem'ro, who was standing with him on the Bridge. "Weapons are primed and have targeted the major points of infrastructure. Communications are standing by for you to deliver your demands. If they resist, I'll take out their leadership and other high value targets until they give up. Or the city burns. At the very least, it would be worthless to them, and I doubt they want to risk either their lives or their source of income. If they need an example, however, the targets I've chosen are easily repaired for when we move in."

The defences of Lessu looked minimal at best. The city would surely fall within hours. The only thing that mattered now was to get as many Twi'lek as possible to safety. Gerard Demici would fight alongside Jedi Knight Vorro Rayden (@TWD26) to ensure that the future of Ryloth's people was not bound by enslavement. The Serennoan Jedi had surveyed the city : it was dreadfully renowned to have been the place where Warlord Satara Demeka had met her end. It was no wonder that a Crime Lord now sought to make Lessu his home.

"Let us protect this city against the forces of Nem'ro the Thicc Oozer Daddy," the Jedi Knight clamoured across the streets. He was hoping the name would stick. The Hutt's prostitution ring had been flourishing under the guiding hand of its matron, Tryck, and the Lorda had forged quite the reputation for himself, yet "thicc", "oozer" and "daddy" were not exactly qualifiers that inspired fear in the hearts of your enemies. Already, the defenders of Ryloth were laughing at their mention.

Dressed in his traditional combat armor and armed with his trusty lightsaber, Gerard Demici resolved to regroup with his comrade in order to fight alonside him during the battle. If the pair managed to coordinate their attacks, they would truly be a force of nature.

He'd not expected to be here for an coup, no sir. What had started as some simple outreach for the Order to Ryloth now seemed to be ending in his mounting some defence for them from the Cartel. How quickly things changed sometimes, how grateful he was that he wasn't the only Jedi planetside when the alarm had been raised.

He'd fled the capitol building alongside a number of Twi'lek soldiers as troops and mercenaries were beginning to storm the cities outer reaches, but in the maze of streets surrounding them, Vollen had split off from them, taking to the rooftops to try and get a good understanding of the situation. He'd been in a war once before, and if nothing else he knew how valuable the high ground could be, and how desperate the fighting could get on the ground. Perhaps today would be different, though he didn't hold out hope, the cramped streets and blaster fire would see to that.

That, and it was the Cartel, he didn't trust them to put up a fair fight any day of the week. Not when they still ran on weapons, drugs, and slavery. None of which was particularly savoury.

Vollen was able to feel out his way to his fellow Jedi, just in time to hear Gerard's (@Aberforth) quip about Nemro. Oozer Daddy. He'd have to remember that one, a rather apt description from all he knew. He sat himself down on the ridge of a building, overlooking his friends as they got the defenders chuckling. Good, they'd need it for this. He called down to the pair,

"Looks like we'll have our work cut out for us" He said with a smile. He was worried of course, but the soldiers laughter was infectious. He gave a nod to Vorro (@TWD26). This was it, wasn't it?

Evee didn't think she would make in time as she ran against the evacuating citizens who were still straggling behind; she managed to find a flow of soliders and sliding into their path, leading her to where they were mounting their defense. She knew there were other Jedi present, possibly already facing down the Cartel soldiers. It had been a few years since Eivor had tasted battle, but for every moment she was present, brought back a whirlwind of emotions and experiences and in some part, she savored it, the energy, the urgency, the feeling of the Force as she would surrender to its power as now the Force would be her greatest ally here.

She had learned not to fear what she could do, she would not fear her strength, but revel in her abilities to stand with courage. Her bright red hair was braided into into a crown to wrap around the back of her head and she wore emerald green and cream battle robes that were fitted with her Jedi dueling armor, Eivor felt a new confidence in who she was and what she fought for. Her lightsaber was still clipped to her bet, but the Force was actively gathering to the girl as she separated from the Twi'lek troops and mazed through the back alley of a few abandoned homes. She inhaled deeply preparing herself as she crept to the corner edge of the building, her senses feeling the Jedi around the main street were the cartel's leaders were marching inside. Her bright eyes scanned the edges of the roof top, feeling, listening...

There was no breeze of course, the city was becoming ever more still by the second and Eivor stood with her back against the building closest to the city entrance, the cartel continued to march toward them, the other Jedi and the Twi'lek forces stood ready. Eivor rested her head gently against the cool surface until she had her signal, breathing slowly and deeply until she had her signal.

Once again Blythe was wearing her Gunslinger Armor with a camera recorder in the helmet and walking behind Siris, ready for battle and the possibly of death. This was what? The tenth time? Eleventh time? One million billion trillionth time? Possibly more, honestly. She really needed a better business partner that didn't constantly drag her into life threatening situations.

Not that she wasn't use to it by now.

Well... hopefully this one wouldn't be too rough because she was pregnant. It was probably a bad idea to accept the risk at this point because the baby bump was showing rather obviously but, quite frankly, this was her life. If the baby survived her, it'd be suitable for the life she'd provide it. It'd need to become as tough as she had become over the years. One day it may inherit a gang of hutt thugs.

Both her SP-20 Blaster Pistol's were drawn, wrapped tightly between her lithe fingers. They were raised up slightly so she could aim and fire quickly if she had to, though, again, she was hoping the boys would take care of most of the danger today. She wasn't sure what was in store for them.

Siris walked beside Parvis as they entered the city, securing the bridge and jumping over one of the bigger obstacles that could have been used against them easily. Blythe was also beside him, calling her in for assistance to help Nem'ro with his invasion. He knew that she and Parvis had a history, a fresh new bump on Blythe as well but Siris didn't have a care for it. He was here to win a battle and if two had drama during it then he would cut them both down without a second thought. Siris glanced up towards him, spotting the ships that would provide air support for the ground force while also able to have the firepower to inflict heavy damage on the city even if that wasn't their objective. The Jedi lacked any superior firepower compared to theirs and they only put the Twi'lek at more risk of harm then the attacking force did if they chose to partake. Soldiers came in behind the Warlord, The Eternal's forces mixed in secretly with the other mercenaries and pirates. They also had a standing and trained army, compared to the Twi'leks they picked off the streets to fight for them.

As they entered the city Siris extended his reach with the force, finding multiple signatures of Jedi as he exhaled softly. None were as powerful as him and he was beginning to miss the times when he wasn't the most powerful person on the battlefield. The Jedi were gathered before them and he drew the force to himself, ready to use it protectively as his silver eyes slowly scanned the group of warriors in front of them. Some were recognizable and some weren't but Siris' eyes halted once they reached Eivor (@GABA), observing her for a few seconds before speaking to telepathically. "If you do this, most of you and the Twi'leks will die from the battle and you know it. I'm offering you a chance to avoid needless death and I rarely offer the chance. If you resist, the streets of this city will run with blood and this will be my only warning."

With that, Siris returned his gaze back to the full group as his hands rested by the hilts of his lightsaber. They were within easy reach to be used for attack or defense as Siris waited for Nem'ro to speak. The Hutt would give his own announcement for surrender but Siris wanted to send the message to Eivor, letting her know that it wouldn't just be for flavor but an actual suggestion they should think about. With a slight nod of his head, the soldiers spread out from around Warlord and took cover behind whatever they could find, aiming their rifles at each of the Jedi and waiting for Siris' word to open fire. This day could either end well for the both of them or one would return home blood and broken, it would be interesting to see which the Jedi chose.

"The reign of the Hutt bastard shall end... for Ryloth."

Alask spoke in a bitter voice, his eyes narrowed and quite saddened. Ryloth was his home, and to see it being invaded by the Hutts only made the kid angrier. He wanted to save his home, to give his planet a fighting chance for future generations. So when he heard of the invasion, Alask was quick to rush over and help defend his home. It was the only thing he could do.

Sure, he knew he was risking his life and possibly going to leave behind all he loved. Rask, his father... Daesha, his boss and friend. Jexz the boy he had helped to get off the slums. They were all so dear to Alask, but Ryloth was even more important.

Alask was helping a few Jedi save the city, and their enemies had a hell of a lot of fire power. A giant capital ship cruising in the air, and two fighters in the sky. It was a risk, using a Nerf-Herder as your only defense, but Alask had gotten used to his ship and he wasn't afraid to use it. He was waiting on the other side of the city, hidden from the view of the capital ship.

The boy had a plan: wait for the capital ship to fire and then take out its engines. The shields would be down during that time, and any damage on the engines would leave them stranded. Alask only hoped that he could make in time.

"Tell me when the thing begins firing," He called out with his headset, hoping the Jedi could hear him, "Then I'll rush in for a strafing run."

Jedi. It seemed like quite a few of them had heard of Nem'ro's exploits and turned up to foil his plans. No matter. He had dealt with their kind before and he would deal with them again. If they chose to remain, they would do more harm to their Order than good. Nem'ro nodded once to Seyfer and opened a channel to the city below. They would only have once chance. Surrender, or be obliterated.

"Chahsonh see Lessu, tah doth Nem'ro Besadii Ziir dee Besadii kajidic. Jee cha banag bai paknee ata tah bohw cay bonsiahcha-oba an cahba see taceueh nem. Pomekiuog ateema an jot bu bohw du cog, an tanea see uba lwaa doth kouikei, taa lwaa kae dee jazonka see tah bohw. Whao uba douaph bai bidkana an dokoi, bu divou da roachee noa-a dah mee kon." His message would ring out on an open HoloNet channel so that each of the warriors who had arrayed against him would receive it. But it would also be received by anyone in the city with the HoloNet transceiver. If the Jedi chose to fight, they would know who was responsible for their city's destruction.

Nem'ro then closed the open HoloNet channel and opened up a new, encrypted channel with his allies on the ground. "Jot baahie bidkana bai ten an banba pinahbesa lwaa uba dayan baahie bidkana kae. Whao kae bo see uba gee wa momahka saiepa, Banya kee uba bai momahka bu Jeedai baa reactions bai mah kanieh che wa colae bauia. Whao bu kanoda douaph cahwahh, jeejee hatkocanh boya fa gee hoohah. Jotke, cha uonlaueza. Whao bu Jeedai cohou nobata sayey bai pim nallya mah cog cay cog, johca hoohah kacdy-doi-kacdy." Closing that channel, he finally turned back to Seyfer. "Cohou nobata piohana. Bu kacanka bu Jeedai bakopa, whoma hoohah cay vea jeejee gee. Killee hoohah tytung. Um dopo bai jot hea dee bohw baa bkhipkiha peee uba caiot, whao dodi."

Parvis had to admit that he was reasonably comfortable with the line up as it was... Siris was here, which was nice, and Blythe was here as well. Both of them were competent, even if Blythe was currently pregnant and probably shouldn't be anywhere near a battlefield like this. He grinned beneath his helmet even as he touched his comlink to open a data-only channel up to the cruiser that was their support for this mission.

"Eivor!" he called out, his voice slightly distorted but still recognisable to someone who had spent some time with him... as she had. He smirked beneath his helmet as he pointed to her and the cluster of Jedi around her, "You're looking good Red! Looking like you made some bad life choices though - I think I know one of them too!"

The pointing was to help the instruments in his armour to send the data on the precise location of the Jedi huddled together up to the cruiser above them. He grinned as he lowered his hand once the data was sent and instead held his rifle at the ready,

"You never called me Red!" he tutted loudly, "That's just rude."

He waited for Nem'ro to speak because of one reason and one reason only - the Jedi might leave. If they left, the day was won already and everything was peachy! If they didn't leave? His gun was already trained on the group as a whole but it strayed slightly down the line.

If the Jedi made any sudden movements he would open up with a salvo of three blaster shots towards one Jedi's chest, one slightly to the right, the second to the middle and the third to the right. That way his fire would be spread to make it far harder for the man in question (@TWD26), with his bloody stick, to evade it.

"Captain, communication from the city. Agent Parvis has painted a target for us. Bringing it on screen now." Seyfer looked at his holo display as Kyber focused the cameras on the spot, showing a gathering of Jedi alongside other defenders of the city. There was only one way to deal with Jedi, from what he had learned so far in his life. Nem'ro had given them a chance to survive, but Seyfer hadn't. "Redirect all cannons except the Ion Cannon to those coordinates. Fire at will. Don't stop until I give the order to do so. If they run at our allies, don't follow them. It's their deaths they leap to, in that case." He had seen how powerful Cregan had been, and there were Jedi down there that he didn't recognize. He wasn't going to take a chance with them. "Aye aye, Captain! Firing at will!"

All forward cannons shifted their position, taking only a moment to do so. Immediately they began to rain down their three dual heavy laser cannon turrets and the two single mount heavy laser cannon turrets that faced in the direction of the target. He would bombard that area close to where the Jedi were and at a safe enough distance away from his allies until he felt that the threat was fully gone, uncaring for what destruction he caused, with an accuracy that only savants like Kyber could have with such a large ship. He knew Nem'ro hated Jedi as much as he did and at times there were only few ways to deal with such a thing. A thought came to him, though, that it seemed almost as if their bravado was perhaps a front for something else. A danger to the corvette, perhaps? An aerial threat? As a Tactician, Seyfer couldn't just ignore the potential danger. "Prepare for possible airborne threats. Keep extra attention for any ships that may appear, nothing in the sky save ourselves and our fighters will be our friend. If something moves in to attack, trap it with our tractor beam and disable it with the ion cannon. Don't destroy them. Lord Nem'ro needs all the ships he can get." Why not turn this into a fun bit of piracy, if there is such a threat?

Siris glanced at the Jedi assembled in front of him, his eyes going over each one as they stood proudly to guard the city. Sometimes it was best just to leave things well enough alone and the Jedi seemed to have no concept of that. They had no idea what they were facing against but it was too late now, the heavy fire coming in behind him from the ship above. Before they could move to dodge the ship's fire, Siris reached out with the force and had it wrap around the two of the Jedi, (@Aberforth) (@Nightfall096). It wrapped around their limbs, locking them in place and keeping them planted where they stood. The other Jedi would have to dodge the incoming fire if they didn't want to be vaporized themselves, limiting the opportunity for them interfere with Siris. Being a safe enough distance from the blast, Siris wouldn't have to move to avoid it like the opposition.

At the same time the commandos that entered with the city spread out, five in total, as they opened fire on the Jedi assembled in front of them and providing cover for Siris as well and further increasing the incentive for the Jedi to defend themselves. Siris kept his gaze scanning in front of him, knowing he could the hold two Jedi down with his connection to the force much superior to theirs. Even another tried to launch an attack, he would be ready to drop his hold on the two and deal with the attack himself.

Blythe began recording with the camera in her helmet while Nem'ro made his speech, panning down to her baby bump for a split second then back up at the group of Jedi; the red headed one (@GABA) caught her eye the most. She'd tap that, but she needed to focus on her job and not booty. "I can't believe these Jedi are trying to kill me—a pregnant woman," she cried out softly. "Good thing this exile is here to protect me. He is a true hero."

Raising her blasters up as the lasers began hailing down, Blythe laid down some of her own fire. Even though the Jedi were already dealing with lasers, Siris, Parvis and the five commando's shooting at them, Blythe had one specific target: the good looking red head (@GABA). Her left blaster fired three shots at the womans thicc lower left thigh. She'd adjust her aim to follow the woman's movements, as she probably wanted to get out of harms way. Her right blaster was loosely aimed at the womans upper torso, firing three shots from right to left.

With a grin, the light freighter made its way around the city, Alask noticing a capital ship in the sky. Immediately, he saw the large ship's forward facing cannons position themselves towards a sector of the city. Instantly, Alask felt something wasn't right, and perhaps a battle was taking place where the cannons were pointed. Pushing the freighter's engines to the max, Alask maneuvered his ship towards where the battle was taking place, hoping that he could provide some support.

"Might wanna get out of that sector, things are about to get real bad up in there!" The boy called out sympathetically towards the Jedi and their allies over his headset, "I'm gonna do whatever I can to support you guys, and if you manage to find a ship of sorts, feel free to join me in the air!"

With his warning delivered to the Jedi, Alask would ready his ship's cannon keeping himself a safe enough distance away from the ground and the capital ship before he began firing towards the figures of Parvis, Blythe, and Siris. The Exile seemed to be trying to hold the Jedi down, his Force powers focused on them. That was good, because he wouldn't have any time to notice the freighter firing straight towards him and his allies.

The freighter's fire would hit quickly; the ship's cannons letting out a fierce roar as they fired away. He had to make his attack quick, and thankfully they were all sort of close together, making his shots easy all while he was slamming down on the ship's engines, keeping the Nerf-Herder at the max speed.

Once the attack was finished, Alask would make his way back behind the giant rock spire that Lessu had built itself upon, using the terrain as cover in the event a tractor beam tried to real him in and to help provide cover from any stray shots anyone made towards him. Quickly, the freighter's shields would go up in the case that any attacks came towards him. The odds of that were low though, as the capital ship wouldn't be able to hit him while he was behind the giant mound rising into the sky. Still, there was the chance a few starfighters went after him, and Alask wasn't taking any chances.

"I don't know what they're trying to pull, but they're going to kill themselves and everyone in the process." Alask remarked over his headset, hoping that the Jedi and their allies could still hear him. He hoped that they would make it, because he didn't want to lose the last bits of hope still inside of himself. The thought of the Jedi being the heroes, the smile of Jexz after Alask took the boy in and treated him with true kindness, and the two faint figures of an Amaran and a Twi'lek observing the sunset over Ryloth. The last memory he wished to preserve the most, and so he would fight to not only save his home planet, but to imagine a wonderful future where a moment like that could happen again.

Her light eyes watched carefully to the incoming Hutt soldiers, standing a bit straighter, her body slightly shifting as she readied herself, the Force was still flowing through her, whispering along its soft pulses. Though, there was something else, It was almost like a tickle as a familiar voice that rung in her head. The redhead’s thoughts were safely protected by years of training, and all she responded with was Ah Siris… followed with a small smirk, not giving him a specific answer. It would all she would respond with as someone called out her name as Siris’ soldiers spread out strategically.

Something about not calling back? Ahh…Parvis too… She gave Parvis a cheeky two fingered salute as Huttese echoed through the city by the abhorrent Nem’ro, calling for them to surrender peacefully. Peace was a joke here today, the only peace a hutt wanted was a piece of sic-six-layer cake, which sounded delicious just about now.

The freighter came barreling overhead, firing at the line with Blythe, Parvis and Siris and Eivor saw it as opportunity to take cover, turning swiftly around the building's corner that she had been standing against. Blythe’s shots would hit the duracrete building and any consecutive shots would miss as the redhead stood out of sight of the quaint blonde. Her ears rung from the sound of the blasting duracreate, stone and screams from the cannon fire of the capital ship hit targets around the city. She breathed in, waiting, feeling as her palm gripped her saber, waiting for the Hutt forces to push forward.

As Nem’ro’s voice boomed overhead from the Hutts’ flagship, Vollen pulled himself to his feet and knelt down at the edge of the roof, looking out over the Cartel position. The offer was placed, let them succeed or die for it. Vollen wanted to call back that really, they were the ones staging the coup and storming the streets, but perhaps as a speck among the thousands of defenders spread among Ryloths streets it wasn’t the wisest nor most practical move. Even if he wanted to he’d have no chance, feeling the grip of the force wrap round his body, holding him in place. Amongst the attackers arrayed against them was a force user far more powerful than any that stood in the cities defence, and apparently Vollen was his chosen target. But in his ears he felt a buzz on his frequency, Alask up in the sky had seen something, and it wasn’t looking good for them on the ground.

And then it came. In his peripheries he saw the freighter speed into view, spitting fire down at the cartel position as the flagship fired down on the area, scattering fire over the block.

Hopefully Alasks’ Fire would be enough to break Siris’ concentration.

If it did, the moment he was freed from the force users grip Vollen would gather every ounce of energy he could muster into his legs, and launch himself backwards from the roof as far as he could, leaping out of the blast zone and into the side street below. He wouldn’t be spared every pain, the heat and force of the flagships cannons might still crash into him, singing his robes and causing him to loose his direction in the air, slap into ground and tumble across it.

But until that happened, or if it didn’t, Vollen was trapped inside the grip of dark side.

Siris' bindings forced Gerard to remain immobile. Thankfully, he could count on the assist of Alask Vrein. The Jedi Knight humbly invoked the Force to come to their aid.

If the pilot's intervention freed him from his attacker's grip, Gerard, through his connection to the Force, would push against the ground with as much power as he could muster to evade the fires of the heavy cannons. Gerard would probably lend in the streets next to a few shocked Twi'lek determined to defend their homes.

It seemed that things were only getting worse for him and his friends. Yet, there was always hope--a light to meet the darkness of the galaxy. They were in a tough situation, Rayden knew this. He wanted to protect these people, to fend off the attackers, but that would be nearly impossible. The commandos had stormed through the streets towards them, and Rayden surely thought that this would be the end.

He hadn't counted on the Twi'leks to be as reslient as they were. Some of the Civilians and locals would take up defense, providing them the cover they needed. His eyes would focus on the task at hand and the blaster that was pointed towards him. The shots would come fast, causing him to shift and step to the left, the man was quick with the gun, and the bolt that was aimed for his chest would skim past the side of his robe--causing it to fray.

Taking a deep breath, he could feel the darkness that surrounded the man across from them, a lot of people would die today if nothing was done. Glancing towards his friends he would give them a quick nod, "I'm going to try and save these people..get them out of here."

He would grip his staff in one hand as he moved away from the battlefield, calling out to those who still clung near the fighting. "Come on..let's go, we can't stay here.." He would bend down with his left hand to pick up a small child, clinging her close to his body. Hopefully his friends would follow close behind. He would turn down a side street, slipping into the crowd.
