Dolworth watched as Talon shot out one of the Cameras before looking around for more, "Must be spaced apart but then again..." he poked out a bit, yanking his blaster rifle and firing a shot in the opposite direction. The Camera on the opposite side of the wall went out like a light, "Redundancy was something i've never seen on a destroyer before...these guys aren't kriffing around" he spat as he humped against the wall again, following Talon as they attempted to get to the Ion Control room, "Don't have alot of grenades Vod. If you want me to make a bang on that room we'll need some charges...one of their armories could have the needed material. I'd say they'd have one near their barracks" he suggested as he halted, checking a few corridors for stragglers as the sounds of battle hurtled outside...

Whoever this pilot is they’re good. Chant silently admitted as her ship came about face as the other fighter did so as well. Regardless of her views on wannabe Imperials she won’t deny talent when seeing it firsthand. Of course there was no time to dwell on that.

Quickly Ness her astromech called out in the comms, letting Chant know she was on the turret. With a determined glare at the incoming fighter she squeezed down the trigger, firing three short bursts at her opponent’s center mass. Ness on the turret followed suit, opened up a volley in the same direction. The interceptor’s it’s shields would be no match against such combined firepower.

A resounding crack could be heard as Jago's foot connected with side of another sith troop's helmet, the roundhouse kick finding it's target. He'd been stopped by a few more soldiers along his path to the first AA gun but he was determined to reach the front line and help subdue whatever sith were there. He started to move again and darted between the cover made by the numerous downed ships and speeders.

Once he finally reached about 100 meters from the trenches his vision went white and the ground shook violently as the first AA gun went up in a ball of flame and smoke. The Matukai gritted his teeth at the sight and kept on the move toward the trench, he refused to let the second gun go down. Not while their were still people who needed to get away from the battlefield.

He double timed his movement and saw the one responsible for the guns destruction, red blade and all (@Taz). Jago began to make his way there and could see another, a woman holding a saber of her own (@Nightfall) . She shouted orders to soldiers around her and the battle line shifted to defend the guns. The woman went in on the armor clad sith and Jago smiled. Good it seemed he'd actually have some kind of support down here.

He angled his run to try and get behind the Sith by hopping into the trench about 20 meters away. Jago raced up the trench and took out a few more sith soldiers while he was at it. Something told him however that no matter how powerful a Sith was, they wouldn't rely on just one (@RedneckLoves) to get these guns taken out.

Jocedor Oakther had thought she was ready, she had thought she could just go and help out a little and make sure the Imperial forces didn’t cause any irreversible damage-so she had no idea in hells name how she has managed to underestimate the stakes of this mission so greatly, the Star Destroyer looked large on the horizon as her Transport Ship sped through the air.

Yet, even as she didn’t feel that great about her job-there was no backing out now, Jocedor’s strawberry blonde hair was being beaten about by the wind, the young Jedi Knight held on to the side of the transport ship for dear life, her robes flapped in the wind as well, she was wearing her dark brown ones today.

As the transport speeded towards an open spot of the battlefield, Jocedor noticed flashes of color presumably from other Jedi on the ground below. However she had little time to think as her whip would be past the flashes of light in a few more moments, so with an utterance of “May the force be with me...” Jocedor told the ship’s pilot to maneuver lower towards the ground, and he complied with the young Jedi’s request and with only a few seconds between the request and now, Jocedor leaped out of the ship when it was a safe enough distance to and she landed with a fluid roll into a ready position, igniting her blue blade.

The blonde haired woman immediately cut down an imperial, as she sprang forward intent on making her way to the showdown between a Sith (@Taz ) and one of her fellow Jedi (@Nightfall )

The human female sprinted towards the pair and did a force jump to close the distance when she got close enough, (lucky for her) she was successful blocking any fire the enemy gave her and she cut down any enemy unfortunate enough to get in her path.

Landing from her force jumpnear the two blades warriors, Jocedor took a deep breath and got into dueling position, if she just focuses on what she’s learned about fighting she and her newfound ally will be sure to win. “Hey! Want some help with that thing?” Jocedor asked her comrade ( @Nightfall )attempting to appear relaxed and ready-two things she was not.

Young Baldr Sigurd had reached the trenches with ease, but now complications were made clear to him. For one, he could see an enemy that seemed vaguely familiar to him, flanking the other Sith from behind within the trenches. For two, the Jedi had not only reached the Sith and engaged him but there was now a second one that had come from seemingly nowhere to back up her ally.

Baldr knew he couldn't be in two places at once, so he kept pace with the enemy trying to flank from behind until he was in just the right position to toss a couple grenades down at him. A thermal detonator he threw first, aiming to land in front of the Nautolan (@Topher Ridge) and the second a concussion grenade he aimed behind the man. He didn't stick around to see what devastation he had wrought - there was simply no time.

Up ahead of him, the soldiers he had sent to disarm the other anti aircraft turret were hard at work. The enemy forces were swarming, but the Sith had brought superior firepower and explosions rocked the ground sporadically as his forces worked to get close enough for a killing blow.

Attacking that enemy had nullified the cloak he'd protected himself with to cross the battlefield, but that no longer mattered. He was close enough to engage the Jedi and provide support to his Sith ally. Baldr's two blood red blades were in his hands and activated in an eyeblink. He had already closed the distance between himself and the group of combatants, and chose the unengaged Jedi (@Jocedor Oakther) as his target. He punched out with his left fist and sent a powerful Force blast at her to send her flying backwards and out of the immediate fight.

Oh good, the Sith (@Versok ) took the bait. Dun Moch was the art of psychological manipulation, often to the end of inciting anger or fear. But so long as it encouraged an attack, whether through assuming an opponent or through sheer irritation, it had worked. Hannibal had hoped the creepy masked Sith would go for his blaster, as doing so created an opening. The Force was already flowing through the Jedi Master, and the Sith wasn't the only one with with power in his corner.

When the Sith went to pull his blaster, Hannibal only kept his hold on it for a moment. Then he let it go, simultaneously beginning a similar telekinetic attack of his own. He targeted the hand the Sith used to focus his efforts, twisting it sharply outwards with enough force to dislocate or snap the wrist while the Sith's focus was elsewhere. That grip would remain and continue to twist, unless the Sith put up sufficient defense or Hannibal needed to use the Force to defend himself in some way.

Hannibal continued to walk toward the Sith in a left foot forward cross step, guard up and saber forward. The two combatants were still out of melee range but that wasn't going to be the case for long if the Jedi Master had his way. He preferred not to use the Force to do his fighting if he could avoid it, but he was still quite skilled skilled in its use when he did.

"Well you can hide if you prefer, oh mighty warrior, but could ya do it somewhere else? We're workin' here," he replied to the Sith's comments. The crewmen on this side of things were much less organized and weren't doing so hot, and soon the marines would move on deeper into the ship, leaving Hannibal and the Sith more or less alone. The Jedi Master certainly wasn't going to move on until the Sith was dealt with, and he'd prefer not to involve the marines in the fight regardless.

The enemy interceptor spat rounds at the enemy ship, almost assuredly finding its mark, but like his partner, it wasn't enough. His own deflector shields were shredded to pieces before a cannon round tore directly through the cockpit, vaporizing the man in an instant. @Minuteman75

Castus had read the scene in his mind before it even played out. He knew the Jedi could not help but rush and clash with him. His weapon moved like a fluid motion. Batting a baster bolt fired from some random Twi’lek soldier toward the Jedi, then placed his own sword before his abdomen to block her crossing strike, as she attempted to cut him in half. The Sith would follow this with a powerful pushing blast of force energy from his right hand.

The marauder would use the force blast to not only push back the Jedi but to assist his jump backward, over the trench and landing on the other side. As the experienced dark sider had taken notice of the other force user’s attempt to flank him, as well as yet another Jedi leaping into the fight from seemingly nowhere.

Fortunately for Castus, another Sith had also appeared out of the battle and taken on at least the young blonde haired lightsider. Allowing him to concentrate on his own cat and mouse game with the other two.

Now on the other side of the trench, he once again readyed his lightsaber before him. The dark side continued to build within him. Ready to strike at any opening these so called defenders of light and good gave him. He just needed to hold out a little longer.

Talak continued his assault through the side corridor of the destroyer, not wanting to give up his opportunity. His saber swept around and caught another one of the crew members while another turned and ran. A blaster bolt flew down the corridor and Talak's saber slammed down on it and sent it into the ground.

In the momentary reprieve, he jammed the saber into the ground and carved another hole to a lower deck. The more routes and chaos he could cause, the more difficulty the enemy would have in containing the situation. Distraction in a battle like this could be key.

He yanked the saber free again and continued down the corridor. With any luck he would evade any remaining security teams for the time being or any mercenaries like that Rodian he had seen earlier (@Ecclessey).

Or more likely, he'd run into someone else promptly. He thought he could already hear footsteps around the next corner and pressed himself once more into cover. The beauty of Star Destroyers is that they were so big and actually surprisingly poor when it came to internal security. Sneaking around was fairly easy. He'd heard that in the Clones Wars, a dark side assassin had managed to bring down a whole destroyer singlehandedly. Impressive, if you asked Talak.

The droid rotated the ship causing the hail of six laser cannons to release a torrent of fire on the Crusader II corvette. The Bident corvette opposite the Sith vessel seemed to be taking more damage but the two capital ships were desperately trying to outmaneuver one another. The Resolute Defiance still had it's adequate engines at the ready and managed to stay out of range to the point that the heavy deflector shields took the barrage.

The Sith vessel had avoided some damage from the The Forked Tail's remaining weapon batteries but it was a loosing battle. The corvette pealed back around. Warnings showed on the blast boat's dashboard as targeting computers from the Crusader II's turrets. N4-X4 knew they were circling back towards the Bident corvette to finish it off. The ventral side of the Resolute Defiance was the side that would be firing again so the droid dropped his blast boat below the targeting angel allowed by the dorsal turrets. By this time the Hex would be closer, straining its engines.

Again, the BX-commando droid knew a single torpedo wouldn't damage the corvette beyond repair, it might even continue to make the Hex use its afterburners just to catch up. But the point was the droid knew the unguided torpedo needed to be fired close or else the fast corvette would out maneuver it. As the warhead streaked towards the target that fired into the Bident corvette below, N4-X4 continued to fire the two heavy laser cannons towards the engines of the Crusader II.

The shields of the Hex even seemed to drop slightly at just being at the edge of the torpedo's calculate explosion. The droid did not wait.. It fired a total of five ion cannons through the explosion that obscured the immediate target. Before they knew it, the Hex flew through the cloud and slowed and electrically crackling edge of the ship they were after.

N4-X4 continued to fire a barrage again along the ship before pushing the G's to an uncomfortable point and drop in on one of the access hatches on the Resolute Defiance. With the added Ion damage, the turrets and the ship's systems would be weakened and unable to respond while they boarded it. Not to mention, the commanders might of either side probably would not notice right away given the two capital ships appeared to have KO'd one another.

The droid promptly locked the ship down and in place, setting the pilot droid to manage anything remotely should he give it the commands. The magnetic feet of the droid clanked on the deck lightly as it walked towards where it would begin the cutting process. "Be prepared for barbarity. There will be resistance" In space the droid had the advantage. However N4-X4 was not alone or with a team of other BX commando droids. He had the Doctor with him. The seeker droid that usually accompanied Naxa floated out from its charging port and waited, knowing it would be expected to zap or slice something in the near future.

Several shots by the interceptor struck Chant’s light freighter. The latter shook terribly as the deflector shields went down. For a moment Chant grimace, fearing this was the end. Suddenly the enemy fighter exploded.

She lurched the vessel downward on the left, away from the newly made wreckage. Sighing with relief she called her droid partner on the intercom. “Good shooting Ness.” The astromech answered in a whistle that almost sounded proud as their vessel gave the Star Destroyer.

Chant subsequently checked her ship’s status and frowned. Shields are down at fifty percent. We would've been space dust if Ness hadn’t gotten on the turret. Not wanting to dwell on that line of thought the pilot checked her scanners and picked a flight of bombers, heading for the Sith warship.

Wait, it's that blastboat from earlier is with them.

With that realization she flew over to the convoy on the opposite side. “Attention Alliance squadron. This is the Lee-Char here to provide assistance.”

As Izel's voice was lost over the roar of battle, so did her frustration drown in the fear, anger, and hate dominating the battlefield. Just as Kori's armor was meant to protect her from gunfire, so did the Zeltron's will try to shield her mind from the raging ocean of surrounding emotions. The work that Izel had put in to set up the defenses near the TIE bomber seemed irrelevant. In an open area like that, they would've been surrounded quickly. With multiple alleged breaches all over the ship—and the hangar becoming too hot—subtlety was a luxury.

But Izel's next precaution was warranted. With no enemies in the vicinity, Nykoria had allowed herself a moment of distraction, just to watch how the Vratix blocked the path behind them. "Impressive," Nykoria commended, her voice somewhat distorted by the helmet. Even the marines seemed to be mesmerized. And then Izel folded the TIE's wing around the breach. "Most impre..."

The Zeltron didn't finish and rapidly turned around, her blades ignited. In the distance, footsteps spread across the corridor. Four security guards armed with E-11 rifles appeared from around the corner; their intent clearly to outflank the intruders in the hangar. A slight shift in the Force indicated that they hadn't expected to run into anyone just yet. A moment spent assessing the situation, and they trained their rifles at the intruders and opened fire.

In response, the blades of Nykoria's saber staff danced in the air, as if having life of their own. Faced with a number of people firing in her direction, the Zeltron fell back to her basic training. Often enough, she could reliably deflect a blaster bolt back at the annoying buggers. Which is exactly what she did now... Except that instead of the remotes, it were living and breathing sentients who kept firing at Kori and her team now.

A second later, the first of the attackers received his own blaster bolt to the chest. Kori fell on her knee to dodge a bolt, and a twirl of her saber deflected the blaster bolt at another guard. The two remaining soldiers ceased fire and stepped back; their awe and terror almost palpable. Especially for a Zeltron, whose blades stopped dead in their tracks, but remained ignited. But even though Kori was perplexed by what she had just done, the marines accompanying her had no such reservations. Recovered from the surprise attack, they quickly gunned down the two remaining enemies.

Nykoria stood up, looking at the 4 people who had just met an untimely end. Because of me. Yes, because of you. But not only. Their actions and choices brought them here, Kori. Just like yours brought you here, to save Ryloth from them. The Zeltron breathed heavily for a few moments, in silence. Pondering on her actions. Feeling guilt, remorse... But most importantly, relief. Relief that Izel wouldn't see the look on her face through the helmet. Then she uttered remotely, all emotions cast aside: "Let's keep moving." The hyperdrive wouldn't blow up itself.

Hopefully, with attacks taking place in multiple areas at once, the path towards their goal wouldn't be filled with too many enemies. But Nykoria had no illusions; the hyperdrive and other critical systems had to be well defended. Perhaps they'd even run into a Sith there...

Having Naxa by her side would make her work much easier. She had on her professional armor, with an addition; the helmet she wore atop it became a seal to the rest of the suit, akin to a flight suit, with the concealed blade swapped for a rebreather, and though she kept her stun blaster, she also had the ascension mod, and her vibroblades. Keen to hurry on this mission as soon as they were physically able, she nodded once when the droid touched down, prepared with a vibroblade in one hand and her stun in the other.

"Neatly done," she rasped, prepared to board. Hopefully it wouldn't take them too long to take over, but if so, she had prepared a plan B. "Let's make this quick."

The sooner he cut an access hole through, the better their odds were of success and survival. She didn't need a droid's computer brain to tell her that.

Izel didn't have much time to breathe before another attack came from further down the corridor, with four Sith troopers emerging. The Vratix turned and moved her pike to deflect the blaster bolts coming in her direction. Unlike Kori she naturally fell back on Soresu, deflecting the shots randomly back into the walls or down the corridor rather than directly at the enemy. She watched with a somewhat remorseful expression as her allies brought down the troopers. She still had difficulty seeing people die, even the enemy. She realized that was something she would need to overcome, and quickly.

She brought up the rear of their squad as they moved towards the hyperdrive, using her Force sense to make sure no one ambushed them from behind. This also brought to her attention just how much violence was taking place, and how many were dying all around them. It was difficult to bear, feeling all the fear and anger that naturally came with battle. It made her wonder how the Jedi of old were able to remain so calm and serene in such situations. It took all her attention to do the same.

She trusted Kori to lead the squad to their objective safely, so she focused on her own task. She didn't fear for herself nearly so much as she did for the marines under their command. She was acutely aware of how much more vulnerable they were than the Jedi. The only experience Izel actually had in leadership was with her Padawan, and she had much more faith in Isen's abilities than she did in these non-Force sensitives. The responsibility was putting a lot of pressure on her. She could only imagine what it was like for Kori, who was the senior between them and technically held rank.

Talon still was laughing inside at the lock of opposition; they'd shot 3 cameras and encountered no more. There weren't any droids, any troopers, anyone in the corridors, but why would there be? They were preoccupied with shooting; why worry about moving around inside the ship?

Of course, that mindset could prove to be their downfall; Talon was confident they weren't the only ones with the secondary infiltration idea. It was a smart move yet possibly predictable, so he still stayed alert as they entered the vicinity of the ion targeting system. It was dark and quiet, so Tal nodded at Dol; they'd be able to see pretty soon, that was for sure. Dol was a master of explosives-sure, you needed stealth which Tal was a master of, but with a job like this? Exploding things was more fun.

Suddenly, his distracted ears picked up on footsteps heading their way and he jumped into a shadowed nook behind some machinery and wiring, hoping Dol would quickly do the same. He couldn't tell how many or from what direction, but the distinct clanking on the metal ground was by no means stealthy. It was almost certainly a hostile.

Both blasters in hand and his teeth clenched, Talon prepared for the first blaster exchange.

There he was again, the annoying little organic was screaming in his head. The sith officer who had contacted Charyeok before was at it again, this time on a different comms channel. Char was finding this being's persistence rather taxing. He didn't perform well while being micromanaged. It was very similar to his ancestors being guided by droid control ships back before the clone wars and the evolution of independent battle droid brains. They had died frequently and usually en mass.

Char was about to switch to another channel when he heard the little organic shout something about bombers in-bound. Popping his head up on it's stalk and scanning the surroundings, Char discovered that his little friend was actually correct. There was a flight of B/SF-17 Starfortress on approach, heading for the upper shield dome of the destroyer. The ship he had been hired to protect. "Ding-Ga soi FU!" Char cursed the imperial fighter corps for being so useless. Immediately, Char issued an alarm across all imperial channels he had access to, drawing attention to the bombers who, despite being rather slow and cumbersome beasts, had somehow managed to slip through the sith picket lines.

Char suddenly threw himself into a hairpin turn like it was nothing, and spun 90 degrees, putting the bombers high above and slightly ahead of his flight path. The rest of the vultures followed him with perfect accuracy, like a school of fish. After flying full speed for several moments, Char and the vultures pulled up, now approaching the bombers from below. "Choi suu da giin!" At his command, the two squadrons fanned out behind Char and moved to his sides, all now flying level with each other. "Cheska!" The vultures suddenly began flying back and forth seemingly at random, each and every one moving, weaving in and out between their compatriots. To an organic pilot, the movement must seem impossible without the fighters crashing into each other, but for droid brains, mapping a flight path while constantly monitoring the ever-changing positioning of one's comrades was child's play. Especially since they were synced with one another on their local net. From a distance they likely looked like a flock of angry birds or a swarm of attacking hornets. These movements would make it difficult for turret gunners to track them.

As they came in range of the bombers, Charyeok engaged his personal deflector shield. "Feuer!" 100 light laser cannons opened fire all at once, lighting up the space between the bombers and the Vultures like the Canto Bight strip on life day.

Jocedor prepared herself to strike the Sith before her (@Taz ) and she was just about to launch an assault on the man, focusing solely on him when all of a sudden, she felt a cool darkness wash over her and within an instant, the Jedi Knight was propelled across the battlefield like she was made of nothing more then a grain of sand on which the battle was waged.

Thankfully for her, no one had shot her while she was thrown up and out into the air, where frantically she switched off her lightsaber and focused on the light- no fear or chaos, only serenity and peace and just like that the Jedi Knight became relaxed and more at ease, she could feel the force flowing through her and with her newfound calm she was able to land with a roll that sprang into her offensive position, reigniting her blue blade as she stared across the battlefield at the fiend who tossed her aside like trash (@Baldr Egilson )

Ah, you are the own who tossed me aside-let me assure you-killing me will be much harder then simply throwing me about!“ Jocedor used her left hand to swipe her hair out of her eyes and to call into her comlink as her other hand held her lightsaber in Makashi’s default stance. She spoke into the device “This is Jedi Knight Jocedor Oakther, can someone provide me with some assignable? I need someone to either cover me as I duel the Sith lord whether that be by air or ground, or I need someone to blast him from above, or I need a fellow Jedi to aid me-be seems strong, his hatred is penetrating my mind-it’s so powerful...” She stopped speaking into the comlink and stood at the ready, prepared to give this battle everything she had.

Well, if met by a force attack, there were only three ways of handling it: Putting up a defense as fierce as the attack, letting the attack happen if it wasn't something that got you killed or responding with another force attack while the focus is somewhere else, changing from one to other wasn't really difficult so when the jedi (@Mr. Teatime ) suddenly stopped using the force to defend his blaster, the old legionnaire quickly caught up on it and created his own defense with the force which was not hindered much by trying to take such a small object such as a blaster away, unlike trying to twist a part of another force user's body with telekinesis, all while alligning the rest of the arm to the hand to make sure it wasn't really hurt even if the attempt to twist was severely softened by his own defense.

Once the blaster was out of his hand, Jerex fully dispelled the jedi's influence on his hand and began a counter offensive as he advanced, the vent covers, now situated one behind him and another one in front, got tore from their positions and flung at the jedi, the one in front straight to the head while the other one was aimed to the lower back. Not only that, as Hannibal advanced, Jerex walked backwards, now pressing the button of the door that was situated behind him in order to make it start closing and then slashing it to make sure it wouldn't open again. Motioning the jedi to come towards him as he kept walking backwards, who had only a limited amount of time to do so before the door was closed, calling upon the force in order to be prepared for the next big attack if the jedi managed to get there in time.

Dolworth swept the room with Talon, checking to see if there was anyone in the Ion control room, "Doesn't seem like anybody's home" he said outloud, "Strange for a ship this size to be devoid of life..." he noted out loud as they made sure they were the only two in the chamber, "Right, I'll rig some of my grenades to detonate, hopefully that-" he was stopped short upon hearing the encroaching footsteps. Without another word he slumped against the opposite side of the entrance way, looking at Talon and nodding to prepare to jump whoever came through that door. He slung his blaster rifle behind him, yanking his vibroknife out and drew in a heavy breath for what came next...

Ilukai felt the wave of kinetic energy plunge into her, throwing her backwards as she charged in. Well, if nothing else it confirmed it was a real Sith and not just a pretender with a lightsaber, they knew the Force well enough to offer a strong hit that most self trained types couldn't muster.

Thankfully then she was trained too.

As the blast knocked her back she sent gathered the Force behind her into a cushioning bubble, stalling her throw and letting her twist in the air to throw herself back to face her opponent once more, dropping back to the ground in a crouch that let her keep her balance and focus even as she was pushed back. It was a delay, not a defeat.

And looking up it seemed suddenly clear yet another ally had joined the fight. A Jedi, though not one she knew touched down nearby, engaging the other Sith and similarly targeted with a force push. Having to defend from one herself she couldn't help, but knowing that the fist fighter was following made her confident, they had the numbers to win this if they played it right.

With her target on the other side of the trench, Ilukai needed to keep him locked down so they didn't run off and cause havoc elsewhere, like at the other gun. So as she got up again to close the distance, blaster shots rattling off all around her as the ground forces of both armies engaged, she did not merely swat aside those blaster bolts that came her way, but directed them back at the Sith, a pair of bolts zipping toward him now as she directed them toward him from elsewhere before she came to her side of the trench.
