I want a good star wars experience. The Rise of Skywalker killed any and all enthusiasm for the movies and the lore I've held onto since I was a kid. I was upset about The Last Jedi and I was majorly let down by RoS. I'm here to rekindle some of the love I once had for the series and play a really cool detective character I've been thinking about for awhile. Also maybe a radical Jedi or Pilot here and there.
I haven't really been able to navigate the site as well as I would have hoped too, could someone link me the timeline and where we currently stand in the series as well as current threads and how to actively participate in the online community? I really appreciate the help and I'm looking forward to getting into the site.

Heya! Welcome to the forum @Foxxer! The current timeline can be found: here. Time is fluid, but it's been 3 years or so I'd say IC since the start of the timeline.

Galaxy in Crisis and the Battle of Ryloth are two current major threads, with Crisis being a DM-run event.

I also recommend reading the Tech Rules, found: here. The other rules under the Rules and Guidelines subforum on the main page are also helpful.
