DESCRIPTION​

It purrs, it meows, it'll even sleep in your lap. The Cyber Cat is a therapy animal wrapped within the body of a small droid, and while it's exterior shell is hard, a synthetic fur covering can be purchased at additional cost.

The Cyber Cats will mimic breathing, with the rise and fall of it's sides, and a purr which resonates with a soothing, physical vibration emanated from the companion. They will sleep at your side, sit in your lap, and provide soothing auditory and physical sensations to anyone willing to give them a chance.

Cyber Cats provide a gentle nightlight located on the top of the head that can change color on command, in addition to simulating the relaxing scent of lavender by utilizing a liquid extract. The vial will need to be refilled at least once every six months. The purr that they emit can be felt as much as it can be heard. The cats will follow commands, and appear to listen intently to their owners when they are speaking. Additionally, they are quite vocal, and will make an assortment of adorable cat noises to prove to their owner that they are being a good listener.

The cats are also fitted with an artificial intelligence that makes them mimic cat behavior, such as curling up next to you in bed, chasing cat toys, zooming through the house, and even chattering at the window as they stare at the world beyond.

The cats do not have a full mouth, and their jaws open just enough to expose the magnet which allows them to pick up various magnetic mouse toys that are provided with each purchase of a Cyber Cat.

Cyber Cats are waterproof, but cannot swim. So don't take them into the lake with you! If your pet becomes damaged, they can be repaired by any Cybertech technician. Simply bring your pet to one of our facilities! The battery lasts a full 48 hours, but don't worry! They can be recharged while you are busy at work or school.

The cats are durable and agile and should have no problem keeping up with their owners, or leaping on and off of furniture. Additionally, they're small enough to fit in a backpack! Accessories, like collars, are also offered as a separate purchase for your cyber cat. Finally, each companion is fitted with a tracking device that the owner can use to locate the cat when it is lost.

Hospitals and detention facilities can reach out for long-term agreements with Aspiretech, of whom will provide the therapy droids at discounted cost.

INTENT​

This cute droid was created as one of the products offered by the Imperial-operated cybernetic and droid company, Aspiretech, which is a part of one of my character's main sources of income. I'll be honest, though. I'm a huge cat person, and I couldn't resist. I also noticed a distinct lack of therapy droids, so I decided to fill that void. This kitty can be used as a family pet, or as a much needed companion for those in need of healing, and has thus been equipped with several soothing functions to assist in therapy.

RESTRICTIONS​

The droid is quite expensive, although Aspiretech is open to offering discounts to hospitals, detention facilities, or anything else of similar caliber, so long as the product is bought in bulk.
