DESCRIPTION
Do you like pets? Of course you do! Everyone does. But perhaps you don't really have the means to feed one, or maybe you're allergic to all that fur, or you might just want something with a lifespan that will last for as long as the companion is well maintained. Meet the Cyber Hound, Aspiretech's latest addition! An adorable and friendly ally to join you on your adventures. He's no guard dog, no weapon of war, but he's big, he's cute, and he's cuddly. Cyber Hounds can even be further enhanced with a synthetic, fur covered shell of your choice (for a higher price, of course).

While not equipped with weaponry, the hounds do have some utility. Most are equipped with flashlights and scent sensors, allowing them to track scent trails and aid their owners in seeing in the dark, when necessary. Otherwise, they are as close to a dog as you're going to get in terms of a droid. They bark, whine, wag their tails, zoom through the house, follow commands, and display an artificial enjoyment and excitement of certain doggy activities, such as walking, running, and even playing fetch! And all without having to feed them, or take them out to use the bathroom, or shedding all over your couch.

All cyber hounds come with a handful of magnetic bones that the dogs are programmed to chase and return when thrown. The hounds lack a mouth, and thus require the magnetism to retrieve the toy. This also insures that you never have to worry about accidental nips to the family or visiting friends. They also have the capability to track fresh scents, so you never have to worry about losing that game of hide and seek ever again!

Cyber Hounds cannot swim, and as such, should be kept far away from deep bodies of water that they might sink within. Hounds that sustain damage to their exterior or interior components can be brought to any Aspiretech laboratory in your area for repair.

These droids are not meant as guard dogs for your home, and should not be placed in dangerous situations. Luckily, you don't have to worry about your pet lagging behind, as their four limbs are built for speed and efficiency. The Cyber Hounds can both sprint and jump, so long as their components are not damaged. Finally, each Cyber Hound is equipped with a tracker programed for the owner's use. If the Hound ever becomes lost, the tracker can be utilized to find your pet, wherever it might be.

Harnesses, collars, and other visual accessories such as leashes can be fitted to your Hound upon purchase. Harnesses can help the customer in carrying things such as a blaster, medical supplies, or anything else that will fit inside the provided pouches. Larger pouch upgrades are more costly than something that will simply hold an emergency medical kit, or a small handheld device.

LEGALITY
Legal.

INTENT
This cute droid was created as one of the products offered by the Imperial-operated cybernetic and droid company, Aspiretech, which is a part of one of my character's main sources of income. Additionally.... I just thought it was adorable. It's cute, it's playful, and it's hypoallergenic! What could go wrong? Despite the Imperial roots of the company manufacturing it, this droid companion can be utilized by any faction, and any character, providing everyone an opportunity to get their hands on an adorable robot companion animal.

RESTRICTIONS
For the most part, none. However the droid is quite expensive, though ultimately cheaper in the long run due to the lack of needing to buy pet food, medications, toys, and anything else an organic pet might need in their life.

Is there a way that you could find a more robotic image for this and the cat? Star Wars tech generally doesn't look quite so organic.
