The Galactic Museum
Description
A museum dedicated to representing and protecting the history of the galaxy. It is located on the surface of Coruscant, and it is free for anyone to enter. The museum came about after the fall of the Galactic Empire, and use to be the Imperial museum. After many decades the museum was reconstructed into what it is today. The museum is owned by the New Republic, and is largely paid for through taxes and donations.
There are many security guards and cameras located throughout the museum, as there are special artifacts, jedi and sith related, still held within. Although, it is mostly just copies or models of artifacts that are displayed. The museum covers a total area of 652,300 square feet of space. Outside of its displays, the museum has many other commodities such as a large playground for children, a movie theatre which plays historical documentaries, a food court, and plenty of giftshops. The museum brings in around 500-600 thousand visitors daily, and during the holidays around a million visitors will come.
The museum does not display any animals at all, but does display fossils. The most favorited display amongst children is the large complete fossil of a krayt dragon hung overhead the center lobby.

Site Lore people can use for all types of threads. Mainly created as a place where my character Samira will frequent. I smell a future heist thread with this place...
