My idea for that would be:

The war is at an end. Battered and worn by hardships, your Jedi wishes nothing more than to find serenity and peace through rest. Perhaps now that they are safe on a Jedi controlled planet, they can finally begin to put the past behind them. Their weary eyes close, and they fall into a deep sleep.

Peaceful slumber soon turns to nightmares of drowning beneath the bodies of their fallen comrades, and with their heart beating furiously, they awake. Instead of relief, they feel even more suffocated, their eyes open in surprise as they feel a pair of hands firmly pressing a drug soaked cloth over their mouth and nose, and once again their vision fades to black.

When their eyes open again, they are still in darkness, but there is a faint light filtering through the bars of their cell. The air smells putrid and is filled with the coughs, grunts, growls and hisses of the other unwilling contestants.

In the beginning, it is unclear just how they wound up in a place like this, but as the first match begins it suddenly clicks within the Jedi's mind.

Many months ago your character crossed a slave trader who had friends in high places. The bribe to capture and bring your Jedi to the arena was several times more than the amount the slave trader would have received for his living cargo, but to them it would be well worth it to send a message to the Jedi Army.

The Hutts will never forget what the Jedi have taken from them, and like all good businessmen, they will see their losses paid for tenfold in the centuries to come...​
