Korriban, Hell's exhaust vent, the place where Zabić chose to live in order to develop and advance her Force skills. The Valley of the Dark Lords ensured nearly ten thousand years of Sith burial tombs, and was timeless before that era, existing as the burial site of the Kings of primitive Sith civilization. It all began right here, the Sith Empire. And it was humbling to learn that those who started it all, were 11 Jedi Exiles?! Zabić pondered what little she knew of her new Master already, his having been first trained among the Jedi. She knew it didn't make him different at all, but it was a unique commonality to have with the first Sith Lords. And as a Juggernaut, Master Drakus is certainly on his way to a marked level of greatness.
It didn't take long to arrive by speeder to the Valley of the Dark Lords from her rented room near the Academy at Dreshdae. Zabić had never had an official tour of The Valley of the Dark Lords which lie just beyond the original Academy. But her Late Master had mentioned this place many times. She was struck with awe at the grandness of what has always been best defined as the 6 stone Monoliths carved into human figures which stood along the stretch of the grand entrance. Each had its head bowed lowly in representation of sheer reverence. It was stunning to see the massive monuments of idol worship the Sith Lords had inspired of their followers.
Standing at the base of the towering rift, Zabić marveled at the sight as the ground beyond dropped sharply to create the valley where the rift shaped into mountainous cliffs. The land here had been raided, destroyed, raided again, rebuilt, bombed again, and the focus of much more of man's obsessions. The tombs have always been at the center of Sith History, its highs, and lows which only lead to greater highs for the Sith Empire.
Standing here now, brought home the amazing history of the place. Sith, when driven by internal and perhaps some unforeseen external force of their ancestors, are capable of learning so much that they appeared to be gods to primitive civilizations. The Dark energy, she began to believe she could hear as an echo around her like the whispering a of Incantations. As she stared at the statues, Zabić wondered if in all the free power that bombards down upon this place, it could manifest itself in unexplainable ways, perhaps at the will of its ghostly inhabitants. Tales of monstrous, ravenous creatures were hunted on these lands. Zabić pondered how the Sith Lords mastered them, and how that skill truly caused the primitive people to perceive them, actually perceive them! She smiled lightly at her thought.
Zabić was quite honored that Master Drakus would tell her to meet him here, an act which had been shared between Master and Apprentice for centuries. But what exactly does it mean? Zabić sat upon a boulder with the cliff at her back. She looked over towards the towering sentinels. The place stirred such a sensation, she had to wonder if it were beckoning or warning. She concluded that it must be both, each a unique test of gumption for certain!
