The Lone Senator

[Hannah]

Serra's eyes widened as she has just noticed the man named Wisp was actually a Jedi. And, the Khil kind of ruined it even more so by practically disproving the Senator's explanation of why she was here earlier.

I should just make a run for it... She thought to herself, sliding the blaster from under the bar into her right hand. She was kind of stuck right now though- with the Jedi in front of her, and even more so with the Sith blocking one entrance, and the Khil blocking the back entrance (though unintentional, it would take too long to move him out of the way...)

Suddenly, Serra did something she did not expect to do.

"Stop with this foolishness," she began, letting her Nabooian accent run through. "I'm tired of people sacrificing for me, and I will not run any longer. I am the Senator of Naboo, and I have committed treason against this sick and twisted Empire, if your classification of treason is standing up for what I believe in. I would rather die with dignity than live as a coward," she explained, stepping forward from the bar. "I cannot hide anymore."

Talk about heating up. The Khil had not originally anticipated Jedi involvement. That the Jedi exposed himself, however, was foolish and definitely surprised the Khil. It was a huge breach of security. But luckily for him, it would take the focus off of the Senator and himself. His hand went to his blaster as he took a few steps away from the Sith. Things were about to get crazy, and the man had learned his lesson about being too close to lightsaber-wielders.

Quite unexpectedly, though, the woman stepped forward. Admitting to the Sith who exactly she was, she was submitting herself to his will and all of the consequences that went along with it. Well, he wasn't about that, and he wasn't about to let her fall into the Sith's hands.

His blaster was out, trained on the Sith as he walked backwards to give more room between this new adversary.

"You've done enough," the Khil sang to the Sith. "You won't be taking the Senator."

(Wisp Lee)

Wisp was more than ready for a fight. He turned to Serra and said "Senator, I will not allow anyone to take you. I will die for you, if it need be." He then turned to face the Khil. "Put down your blaster, sir. You can't defeat a Sith. They are powerful and merciless." He then did something worth the risk. He charged the Sith, and began fighting him. He then used Force Push, and sent him flying into a wall. "Run! Run while you still can. I will follow you."

Venelin was not happy that someone was actually trying to defeat him. He engaged the Jedi with his knowledge of Makashi. However, the Jedi knew something more powerful than him. When he hit the wall, Venelin was unconscious.

 

[Hannah]

"Come on," Serra said, holding tightly onto her blaster pistol as she ushered the Khil out of the door with her.

"We can hide in the slums," she whispered, the smell of the cantina still being wafted into their direction, but it was good as gone now, for Serra had been found.... And once the Empire finds someone they want dead.....

They're good as gone.

 

[Garis Hark]

Garis' gaze followed the bartender, who had had just found out was some sort of senator, and the Khil race out the front door of the cantina. A few chairs and tables had been knocked around in the tussle that had transpired, only moments before. The body of the hooded man lay motionless on the floor by the wall, atop of small shards from the light fixture that he had been sent flying towards, on the wall. He then looked at the man named "Wisp", standing near the body.

He then picked up his glass and said to the man, "Now, you've sparked my interest." before finishing off his drank and letting off a satisfied "ahh". He walked towards the man and extended his arm for a handshake. "The name's Hark."

(OOC: I was under the impression that he was just incapacitated, haha. At any rate, Wisp is still around. )

(OOC: As was I. Anyways, let's stop with the OOC. It's TACs turn to reply, I believe, so we shall wait for him I suppose. It'll go TAC, Sophia, myself, then Garis. If anyone wants to drop out at some point just let me know.)

The Khil was at first hesitant at the demands to vacate the area, especially with the Sith knowing the identity of the Senator. But the Jedi dispatched the Imperial dog, and the being didn't move, he yielded. The Khil had no clue if he was dead or alive, but The woman begged him to leave, and although he was hesitant, the Khil holstered his weapon and followed suit.

She at first suggested the slums, but the man stopped outside of the cantina. "I think that the slums of Nar Shaddaa would be far more dangerous than with the Imperium," he replied. "I have a ship. We can get off world. As soon as the Sith or Imperium find out what happened, we want to be as far away as possible."

The Khil started to move in the other direction, while murmuring was heard from within the cantina. The woman seemed hesitant, so the Khil moved closer, grabbing her arm. "We need to move now, Senator Talorae. I haven't gotten this far out of the Imperium's clutches just to be arrested because of yuor hesitation." With that the Khil released her, moving towards his ship docked only a few streets down.

Wisp grew tension about this. He was staring at two former Senators. He started to the Khil, "Are you Senator Liile Glegor? I thought you were dead." He then turned to face everyone. He then said "Guys, I also have a ship and I can take us away from this horrid place and take you to somewhere safe. Somewhere, where no one would look for you." He was referring to Cyphar, his home planet. Cyphar was far away from the Imperium's territory and was a safe haven for someone like Wisp.

"I'm afraid you must have me mistaken for someone else," the man said. His arm, missing it's hand, had been quite hidden the entire time by the stylish poncho previously mentioned. Apparently, however, this buckaroo was skilled enough not only to be able to overcome a Sith- and easily- but also to notice some very particular things about those who were in his company.

Bowing to them both, he walked backwards slowly. "Liile Glegor is dead." Turning, he walked away from them, quickly, moving towards where his ship was waiting. He got on and quickly punched in the coordinates for an outerrim planet.

How could they have recognized me? So easily?

The ex-Senator cursed quietly to himself as he escaped again into anonymity.

Serra's mind was buzzing. She wasn't exactly sure what to think of it all, but she could think once she was on the ship. The ship of the random person she had just met, nevertheless the ship of someone she could trust.

"You're right, no time to go into a more dangerous part of the world when we can just leave..."

Just as Serra began to walk towards the ship, she got an uneasy feeling. She didn't have to run across the galaxy for the last two months because no one had found her on Nar in the first place..... until now.

It was then she had began to run in an attempt to catch up with the Khil, her feet stumbling in front of her. "Ready when you are..."
