The Missing Count

Serenno, once home to the mighty Darth Tyranus, has long hungered for another leader of similar strength and stature to re-elevate it to the forefront of Galactic influence. The late Count Vemec thought himself to be that man, till his mysterious disappearance years ago. His disappearance left a power vacuum that none have successfully filled.

But now whispers have started to spread amongst the Serenno underworld that Vemec still lives, held captive all these years by unknown forces. Whispers have reached the ears of many a Sith operating on Serenno that much of the wealth and power he had accumulated before his death was the result of his alliance with a sect of dark siders, and his fall the result of a failed ritual. Whispers speak of an ancient manuscript that ripped their power from them, but in the right hands could grant power that could shift the balance of power on the planet, maybe even the Galaxy.

Description

1. [Open] The Beggar Queen has put out the call for the Sith to gather on Serenno, to begin the hunt for the lost Count Vemec and his manuscript.
2. [Self-DM/ASK] The Sith team arrives at Vemec's ancestral home, a long abandoned and seemingly haunted abode. Their arrival heralds the awakening of something within the ruins. A team of Sith must hold off the spirits of the cultists who were killed in the ill fated ritual all those years ago.
3. [Self-DM/ASK] A second team breaks into the catacombs beneath the ruins, and must navigate the challenges within to reach the site of the ritual.
4. [DM/ASK] Vemec's spirit, now calling itself Darth Vemec, awaits those who survive till this last threshhold. Only after defeating this powerful spirit will the manuscript and its secrets fall into the hands of the Sith.
