DESCRIPTION​

The Peregrine is a T-65B X-Wing that has had extensive modifications done to it and is owned by Aden Archer. The modifications are not just performance upgrades but radically changed the structure of the entire ship, with the front of the ship shortened, where there were once four wings there are now only two.

The most notable adjustments were the ones to the engines, the modified ships now has three large engine thrusters mounted on the back in addition to the usual two on the joints of the wings, these thrusters greatly increasing the speed of the ship. A nose mounted light ion cannon has also mounted on the nose as well, in addition to a ventral groundsweeper light cannon. The wings are still able to fold up for easier storage, but does not affect the ship's performance. The torpedoes have been replaced with a missile launchers, holding only four missiles of the high explosive variety.

The hyperdrive had to be downgraded to a class 2, but there is now a hyperdrive de-limiter installed for the hyperdrive, enabling for a fast hyperspace jump in a pinch although with questionable reliability and great risk. The shields have also been down-graded to light deflector shields, so while it can move extremely fast and still deal lots of damage with it's armament, it can't take as well.

The navicomputer for the ship has also been voice-locked.

In all with all these modifications installed, the Peregrine's performance are the same as the Miy'til Starfighter's.

The Peregrine is Aden's main starfighter of choice, using it for it's prodigious speed. However, when Aden is bounty hunting, or about to perform a task where the smaller interceptor is too small, he uses the Bravebird II.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. As this ship is a starfighter, it is subject to extra licensing requirements and increased scrutiny by authorities. There are some modifications to the ship that are illegal in most jurisdictions however.
