Perhaps it was the anticipation of what was upon them, the sights of the destruction of the temple, the remnants and echoes of life lost, but Oren felt an uneasy feeling as the ship cut through the clouds of the all too familiar planet, and into the atmosphere of the endless jungle. The former Jedi had not stepped foot on the planet since the days of its destruction, he had been pulled away on other duties, many of which had been aimed to distract the man from considering the truth behind it all.

He blamed himself for what had transpired before and after the events of this eventful day. Whether or not Oren would have been able to stop it, was not known to the man, but he couldn't help but feel as if he could have done more. Life seemed to carry on for the remote planet, deep within the jungle beasts and critters could be felt rippling through the force. It was mother nature that continued even if sentience could not.

But, these feelings slowly began to change, and a strange disturbing sadness began to creep through the force as they neared the area where the temple was once standing. Echoes of his childhood came to him, interspliced with the suffering that had entailed here. Slowly, he would begin to pull his old ship down for a descent into the jungle. They would walk towards the temple, so Nara could see it firsthand, so she could feel it and understand the truth about that eventful day.

The repulsors on the ship seemed to push the tendons of the trees to the side as the old ship came touching down with a loud thud, and the engines cooling until there was only the sounds of Oren's Astromech within the cockpit of their ship. "Are you ready?" He'd say quietly, unsure if he truly was himself.

Nestled uncomfortably in the cockpit of her X-Wing, Vinry was jolted awake by the beeping of her astromech droid and the various ship alarms he was blaring to wake her up. Having slipped into a mediative trance to sleep through the long hyperspace jump to get her from Yavin IV to Ajan Kloss, the wake up call was at her request, though she had been hoping for something less on the shock factor. With limited supplies, and no idea how long she might be stuck on Ajan Kloss, she had slipped into the trance to put as little strain as possible on the fighter ship's life support systems.

"I'm up," she mumbled as she stretched as much as she could inside the confines of a startfighter's cockpit, "I'm up. Shut that darn siren off already." Niner hooted and switched off the alarms. Vinry had to check the display to get all of what he said, but she chuckled once she did. "Yeah, yeah. I'm sure you were very concerned about my well being. Nothing to do with We need to be out there, helping those who need help. Protecting those who cannot protect themselves. Guiding those who are lost. Not to do with my appropriating you and the ship." The little droid beeped indignantly in response, and Vinry let out another chuckle. This time she understood him just fine without looking at the translation on the screen. "I told you I'd fill out the forms when we're back, I'm not kidnapping you."

Thankfully the ship dropped out of hyperspace and cut short any response the droid might have had. He might have a big mouth, but his previous owner had only let that personality trait persist because it never got in the way of his doing his job. Now that he had to monitor the ship's emergence from hyperspace and whatever might await them the little droid stopped the banter and got to work with remarkable efficiency. For her part Vinry also fell silent, they had dropped out close enough that she could sense and echo in the Force that weighed down on her the moment they reverted to realspace. As a result the journey to the surface took place in near silence, Vinry saying the bare minimum to find a suitable landing spot as close to the remains of the Temple. As she got out of the ship, she was about to ask the droid to stay with the ship, but Niner jumped out and landed next to her before she had the opportunity to do so. "Guess you're coming with me huh?" The little droid hooted and fell in besides her as she started moving in the general direction of the Temple.

She had been warned about what to expect, though no one was really sure what state the Temple was in. So as Vinry cautiously opened herself up to the Force, she was expecting the worst. And though what she felt left her stomach in knots, she was also surprised by what else she could sense. She had felt the pull to Ajan Kloss for some time now, but it seemed like she was not the only one the Force had drawn back. For if what she was sensing was right, she was not the only Jedi here. Feeling more sure about her being here, she continued moving, still headed towards the Temple but diverting her path a little to try and meet the other flicker of Light she had sensed before reaching the Temple.

Lani had a bad feeling about this. Going back to the place that had been desolated by the Sith already? The place where they could've laid an ambush? The place that felt so off and uneasy, despite being almost the same jungle as on Yavin? That definitely wasn't a good idea. But neither was breaking into Nykoria's apartment on Coruscant and cracking the safe. Yet Drastus had gone through with that, and Galania felt she owed him that much. Even if he couldn't accompany them that day, Lani would do her best to return the favor.

"Initiating landing sequence," the Zeltron didn't even look at her companion as the shuttle blew over the jungle canopy. Lani regretted volunteering to pilot the shuttle for the last leg of the route; she should've just let Xiann's droid do all the flying. Back at the Yavin temple, there was at least a sizeable landing area in the vicinity. On Ajan Kloss though, it was just jungle... and the temple that wasn't at all inviting. No, they'd need to gain some distance.

"Kark," the Zeltron mumbled, making another circle around the temple. For a moment, Lani just let the shuttle fly straight until she noticed somethig. A clearing on top of a cliff, far enough from the temple. Flattened grass indicated that the place had been used as the landing pad at some point. Somehow, Galania just knew that she wouldn't find a better place. "Here goes nothing," she mumbled indecisively, slowing down her vessel and engaging ventral thrusters...

After 2 minutes of maneuvering and adjusting, a few tips from the droid and an encouraging beep from the onboard astromech, the Long Shot was finally parked on top of the inviting overlook. Not too long afterwards, Lani would be outside: sitting straight on top of her black Starhawk and adjusting the oversized dark-brown leather jacket. Somehow, she felt right at home: observing the a breathtaking view on the valley below and the mountains in the distance. But the weird uneasy feeling in her stomach didn't fade away.

"It's best to keep the Long Shot in the air or in orbit, and call for it when we're done," the Padawan addressed her companion, reasonably deducing that the Sith could still be prowling the area. The Jedi knew how the Sith had managed to find Ajan Kloss, and precautions needed to be taken. "Have it come for us or jump to hyperspace if the poodoo hits the fan."

Xiann watched through one of the windows as Lani flew them over the planets and down towards a landing spot. She shook her head as she watched the tree canopy fly past them before tuning away and pulling her jacket on, followed by her gloves. She holstered her blasters as the familiar thud of the ship landing came.

As soon as the ramp was down the Twi’lek stood on the solid ground and let out a groan as she stretched out, “Why does hyperspace always make me feel like I was laying on a lumpy bed?” She watched as Lani pushed her swoop out of the ship and mounted up, ready to get going. “Good idea” She turned to Rusty at the top of the ramp, “Head up to low orbit. Open comms, weapons hot, you know the drill.”

“R...ro..roger!” The scrappy droid gave a nod as he hit the button to recall the ramp, shortly followed by the ship taking off, gaining height rapidly before disappearing into the sky.

Xiann mounted the bike behind Lani, “Apparently he trusts you some. He didn’t even try to argue about my safety. Congrats.” She let out a chuckle as she wrapped her arms around the Zeltrons waist, “Ready when you are. Shall we get this show on the road? I'm feeling the East side would be good.” She wasn't sure why she felt the East would be good, but it seemed to call to her.

Oren would adjust the fitting of his old synth-leather jacket, the normal robes that he once wore were gone, and in place was your standard smuggler attire. With a standard cloth white long sleeve, and a pair of standard spacer's pants and captain's boots, while his lightsaber hung against the utility belt on his side.

He could feel the unease in Nara's feelings, the concern and the hidden reluctance to enter the grounds that they once had called home. Oren himself felt the same way, but the former Jedi Councilor perhaps hid it better -- or so he thought. "I do not know how I will feel, but we must do this." His mechanical hand would tap against her shoulder as they stepped out onto the path that the two had taken so many times before.

Together the two of them walked under the thick canopy of jungle, passing by the familiar sights of the past -- like the swamp that Nara had crashed the Convor into all those years ago. The two had come so far, and yet the bog in all of its glory seemed to have changed little. The thought of it brought a simple smile to his face.

But, any hints at happy memories began to quickly change as they stepped out of the canopy and into the opening that lead towards the jedi steps. There it stood, the stones and bricks of the temple seemed grey and lifeless, as if it was the exoskeleton of a large bug like creature. The air felt cool and dark, with a heavy hiss that seemed to sap at the energy around them. The grass and any markers of life were gone. Left in the wake was a pure grey ash like texture.

"You can feel the echoes, the whimpers in the force. Not even it has the energy to persist in such a place." He'd say with a pause as he took a faithful step into the grey waste. He'd look back to Nara with a stoic look, "The Jedi believed that we had chosen to run instead of fight.." His hand would point towards the area around them, all of it was desolate and dead. "If the council would have not acted in the way they had, there would be no Jedi Order today, they would be dead among this wasteland. But, perhaps the Sith had not wished to destroy the Order in a physical form, no... I believe something far sinister was at play, and that was the dismantling of Jedi Ideas.."

He would step towards the steps that lead towards the actual courtyard of the Jedi temple, "Kill the order and you create a martyr symbol for the galaxy, allowing another to rise and take its place. Kill a few children and destroy their home, and you will leave them wounded and clouded in judgement. I believe the two of us leaving the Order will not be the last, but the story of the Jedi I believe is over. The mistakes of the past have been repeated by the Council and by myself, and with it we have only helped to continue the cycle. I fear that even if such forces are stopped today, incidents of the past such as this will only create the seeds for the next cycle of hatred to form."

His eyes would shift back to her own, "And that is the truth of the Jedi Order that we the council did not want you to know. That we had no answers for the Sith and for the galaxy."

"The force is strong." Barely audible, his voice reverberated as a quiet whisper amidst the stone ruins of Ajan Kloss’ Jedi temple; he spoke to himself, his voice listless, the whisperings of a madman, repeating ritualistic verbatim. A peculiar figure, his posture was slack, and his arms rested atop his thighs as he sat, centered in the epicenter of the decimated temple. Sunlight cascaded downwards from a gaping hole in the stone surface of the ceiling, illuminating what was left of the temple room, casting light on his emaciated features.

He wore a tattered white poncho, it’s cotton surface stained with blood and dirt. A thin figure, Algus’ dark hair would hang in front of his achromatic eyes, each orb fixated on the ground in a blank, fatigued stare; he was defeated.

Having been gone when the temple was destroyed, his search for spiritual guidance on the far-side of the Klosslands had left him feeling alone and upon his return, he stumbled across the ruins of his former home. "The force didn’t speak to me.” He absentmindedly tossed a pebble of stray debris down the stonework stairs before him, taking a moment to run his hands over his dirt-covered face beneath his hood.

Then he felt it, the pull of the force, subtle yet crawling on the surface of his skin, forming goosebumps. He wasn’t alone.

“The temple is destroyed! You’ll find nothing here except a swift death!” His voice echoed clamorously; it was a warning to potential looters and Sith alike. Opening his palm, the matte grey hilt of his lightsaber was drawn to his hand, emitting with a crackling roar into an unstable orange blade. Damaged, the pulsing light of his saber would dance sporadically, its magnetic field weak and barely containing the blade, its formerly gentle hum instead sounding as a low pitched siren.

Truthfully, he didn’t know who advanced on the temple. He could feel their presence closely, yet they were still out of view. As Oren approached, he shifted his steely gaze in his direction, peering from beneath his hood, his eyes drawn towards the courtyard steps and honing in on the powerful force energy that emanated from the location; his knuckles whitened as he gripped his saber tightly with both hands.

Lani winced as Xi mentioned they could go. For some reason, the plan was feeling worse and worse by the minute. Get the lightsaber that belonged to Drastus's old master? Find his body among dozens, if not hundreds? Back on Yavin, it sounded like a cakewalk. Even the justification of "Drastus was forbidden to go, but nobody said we were" was starting to make less sense.

And the prospect of actually stepping into the old temple? It gave the Zeltron the chills; even the carefree Xiann by Lani's side could relieve that tension. Shivering slightly, Galania finally pushed the pedal. Slowly, the black bike took to the air and hovered in the direction that that Twi'lek suggested. "We'll fly around... Maybe look from the distance. Probably won't find anything. Drast doesn't have to know." The only thing the Zeltron said was an absent-minded "Yeah" when Xi mentioned the droid's unusual behavior.

The swoop soared through the jungle, until it emerged into the ashen clearing. The noises of the jungle were gone now, the silence accentuated only by the humming of the Starhawk's repulsors. Even worse, it was as if a bit of color had been taken from the world the closer the duo moved towards their destination. Galania focused on the ground below her, unable to force herself to look at the building ahead. For some awkward reason, it felt like staring at an approaching event horizon.

"That's close enough, Xi," Galania let the swoop land at one of the many training areas on the far outskirts of the temple grounds. If the Twi'lek sensed even half of what Galania was sensing, she'd surely understand why. As the engine stopped, Lani's boots stepped on the old stone. Without paying it any mind, the Zeltron's hand landed on a lightsaber hilt on her belt. She had been practicing with Kori's old weapon relentlessly. And even in training mode—which was the usual for Lani—the mere presence of saber made the Zeltron feel better.

“The temple is destroyed! You’ll find nothing here except a swift death!” Even far away and perceived through the senses other than ears, the threatening voice made Lani shiver. Her hands jumped up into a defensive stance; the blade hissed to life, angled horizontally and to the right at the chest level; her legs bent at the knees slightly as the footwork kicked in.

Whether anyone else heard the swoop or the ignited saber remained to be seen...

Renfry's eyes closed as she drank in the feeling of the temple around her. It wasn't the same world she had first set foot on that day she'd desecrated it, and she wasn't the same woman who had come here to enact that horrible curse. The temple was simply saturated with the remnants of what she had done. It had seeped into every stone and grown of its own accord. The song of this world was a tortured wailing of agony that accompanied a tormented spirit.

She didn't regret it.

That day had set her on a path that was irrevocable, and she didn't want to turn back. The darkness was an old friend that wrapped around her like a blanket, hiding her from the probing gaze of others. She was nothing against the backdrop of the swirling evil that remained here, and it was for this reason that none of the intruders who decided to return here would notice her. Where the darkness blinded them, however, it heeded her call. It craved her touch and she its.

Clothed in her outfit intended for covert operations and with a small pack on her back, she had returned to Ajan Kloss. Of course, there was purpose to such a venture and not simply a nostalgia trip. The phylactery in her gear was intended to capture pieces of the poor tortured soul she'd left behind. Shattered and broken, the poor being needed no more torment, and yet Renfry wasn't finished extracting power from it. It had knowledge still that the Sith could use, and so the spirit's torment would continue to be incomplete until she had gotten it. And she wasn't alone, not a soul among those with her feeling pity at what they were here to do. Such was the way of the Sith.

The real truth that the Jedi would find here was that there was no peace. In death there wasn't the Force. In death there was longing and torment for a peace that forever would allude them. On the day of the attack, death had come to Ajan Kloss and in its wake was left nothing but suffering.

She heard shouting from the remnants of the temple and slowed her pace, remaining within concealment as she moved. The jungles were her natural habitat and she moved accordingly. Her steps were smooth and silent, remaining in concealment as she moved to find a vantage point, her presence smothered to the point of being unnoticeable against the backdrop of the evil that remained here.

Raze almost declined Renfry’s request to return to Ajan Kloss. He could still remember the effects of Oota’s attack. It had been a moment of weakness for him back then, and it was one he wanted to forget. However, even he could see the benefit of further corrupting the curse that had been set on the temple. It could serve as a powerful dark nexus, especially as it had been corrupted by the death of a councilor.

He purposely landed further away to avoid anyone getting to his ship. He was adorned in Kravos armor and had twin sabers on his person. The Sith Lord had little use for any other weaponry. He knew where Renfry was and he quietly made his way over. He came up near the vantage point she had found that overlooked the temple. He too heard the shouting and stared blankly in that direction.

Raze kept a low profile, simply observing for now. He could spot some movements ahead, but he didn’t act on anything just yet. He had hoped to get this done without incident, but now it was clear that wouldn’t be a possibility. Raze spotted a saber being ignited, sticking out like a sore thumb.

“We’ll want to cut off their exit,” The mechanized voice said very quietly, barely just audible enough for Renfry.

Xiann frowned as the pair zoomed through the forest. Partially because this was definitely not the beach she was promised but mostly because something was clearly off with Lani. Her friend barely said a word the entire trip and the Twi’lek thought it best not to interrupt her contemplation, this was a sight of a tragedy she was relatively close to after all.

The pair barely took a few steps on the stones of the temple grounds when an echo cut through the air. Xiann quickly pulled out both her blasters and took a step away from Lani. That was not a welcoming voice, this felt like a trap and if they were attacked being stood too close would not be good for them. “I don’t like this. It feels like we’re walking into enemy territory. And the air tastes like sour milk.”

As Lani sparked her saber, Xiann turned and faced the way their swoop had come from, facing the forest. The voice was an echo, it could have come from anywhere and been a distraction. The Twi’lek pointed her blasters out to the forest keeping her eyes peeled for any sort of movement.

Vinry moved through the forest completely oblivious to the impromptu gathering occurring around the temple. The closer she got, the stronger the taint in the Force became, making it harder for her to think straight, much less sense anything useful from the Force. For her own sanity she was keeping herself from touching the Force, just to keep that sick feeling in her stomach from overwhelming her. She would have completely missed the presence of the two padawans if not for Niner suddenly piping up with a series of frantic beeps.

"What?" She came to a stop, questioning her ability to decipher what the droid was saying, because it made no sense. Padawans, here. "Hold on, hold on. You're not making any sense." She pulled out her datapad, and even after reading a word for word translation of what the droid was saying she came to the conclusion that eh was making no sense. He had sensed the padawan's ship landing, having spotted a ping off of her ship on the Jedi frequencies. She didn't want to believe it, but she had heard stories, the current lot might just be full of mavericks crazy enough to try such a stunt.

So even though it was the last thing she wanted to do, she opened herself up to the Force. She herself was not prepared for what might await them at the Temple, she had no doubts that padawans would be in over their heads. It took her a good minute to get her bearings, to push through the sludge that the dark side nexus was emanating from the heart of the Temple, but try as she might she couldn't sense anything but the darkness that now encompassed the Temple. She had to let go of the Force, lest she throw up, and bent over panting with her hands on her knees.

"Head back to the ship, keep it primed for launch and hail that ship. I don't know what they were thinking but they shouldn't be here."

With that she vanished through the foliage, moving a little faster towards the Temple. She had some padawans to scold.

This wasn't the first time Wiley had come to Ajan Kloss. The first time had been a pleasant surprise after Sullust, considering how ruined the Jedi Temple felt even from orbit. Jedi had returned in numbers, they always did. They believed they were still safe or perhaps just weighing the risk. Renfry and Darth Raze led the way and the man was not about to disappoint such an audience.

Traveling in the dead of space via sublight for ages, keeping his presence concealed he did not want to make it easy on the host of light siders that had come to the planet. Wiley, was not in the cockpit of his starfighter this time. The jungle air of Ajan Kloss was familiar, but it was certainly not the man's ideal environment in terms of comfort. However, it provided plentiful shadows and flora to use. Wiley was used to keeping his presence minimal against the blanketing nothingness of the void. Keeping it up so long as he didn't need to fight wouldn't be a problem. Ahead, mark left on the planet felt like a beacon to him even as he was limited in sensing things outside of himself. It was hard to not get excited. The edges of his mouth curled into a grin more with each step.

As the Dathomirian woman slowed, so did the fellow Marauder. She moved with a naturalness that told him it couldn't hurt to step where she did and avoid any spots. Wiley was not wearing his normal flight suit, instead opting for a more discreet outfit more suited for terrestrial travel. Wiley looked towards the sky after hearing the Sith Lord speak. He had watched them approach at a distance before. He wasn't sure if Darth Raze's words were directed towards him or towards Renfry. His own voice replied in a similar volume all the same to volunteer. "I can disable some of their craft, my Lord." Demolition came easy to the spaceborn, especially when it came to starships. He brandished the lightsaber hilt he carried in hand with confidence at his side. Wiley would wait to get permission though from the Sith Lord.

Morgan was "with" the others, from a certain point of view at least. He and Dante were piloting a new starblade fighter and making good use of its sensor array, scanning the surface of the planet and surrounding space from orbit on the other side from the temple itself. The original attack on the temple was more of a planned blitz than a proper assault and conquer, so while Renfry worked her magic he was doing his own brand of work.

Recon and intel gathering, though he hadn't picked up much so far. He'd even dressed up just in case, the customized black ops gear fully assembled for both fight and flight and both lightsabers on his belt. His blaster was in the glove compartment, just in case.

At least not until ships started dropping out of hyperspace on long range sensors. More than one, even. The starblade lowered its power signature and kept watch, well outside of standard sensor range itself. He didn't recognize those ships, but he did recognize they weren't running Sith IFF signals. Morgan decided that was good enough and dropped his ship into the planet's atmosphere to head back around to the temple.

One of the ships was heading up back into orbit, but that wasn't what he was focusing on and he wasn't going to chase it down. A YT-1300 was the nearest and had landed near the temple in the jungle. Morgan approached at speed toward the temple to pass over the freighter on the way, the opposite direction from where Renfry and friends were doing their work.

The ship quickly accelerated to full and dropped down, sensors locking on to the metal construct still warm from a recent flight. Torpedoes fell into place in one launcher and missiles in the other on the approach while Raze was commenting about cutting off exits as if he'd called Morgan into existence, other weapons hot and shields flaring to life. He'd be within range in seconds and he didn't want someone important nearby to explode when the ship cracked in half.

Morgan gave fair warning over Sith encrypted comms as well, informing the others of the maneuver.

"Storm on approach. Be advised, air to ground inbound."

Tiamat was delighted to respond to Renfyr's call to Ajan Kloss; she remembered the stories she heard about her Master at the time of the attack. She couldn't tell what was accurate and would not know of any answers about what had happened even when he did return to continue her training. So the opportunity to see the scar left by her Master and others on the Jedi world piqued the young woman's interest. It was easy to hide her presence among the hallow echo of the darkside; compared to other worlds she had been, this one brought her comfort. The pain of the world was agonizing and for Tiamat it felt familiar, and in an odd sense - homely.

She wore her refitted armor, this time opting in the helmet to cover her face and distinguishable fiery locks. She had been wearing it more to better maneuver with the plates, reminding her of costume rehearsals where there were even more elaborate outfits she had to wear for performances. It was much like learning how to move through through the routine all over again until it was like a second skin. Though she did hunger the day she would be powerful enough there wouldn't be a need to cover her face and could cover her body in something a bit more comforting while willing others under command.

So stupid... she huffed mentally to herself.

Tiamat made her way through the jungle to the temple, gliding along the shadows wonder where everyone else was at, she hoped this was not some joke. Though whatever life existed was corrupted by the darkness, twisting it into something far from recognizable. Heinous against the natural Force, it may have made even the darkest of souls uncomfortable, but there was something to be respected. She slowed her step, reaching the jungle's edge as the veil of shadow continued to conceal her presence, but she could see the faint glow of Jedi sabers. The young Sith did not pause in her step as she would casually walk out of the jungle and toward the ruins.

"Curious curious little Jedi, stepping on unhallowed ground..." hummed the woman her saber hilt grasped, but not ignited.

It had certainly been quite a while since the Rim Hopper had last set down in the small clearing in the forested surrounds of the Jedi temple grounds, the old resistance era ships still seemed to be scattered in various nooks and crannies wherever there was space, looking more dilapidated than ever. Something that didn't seem all that unusual to the spacer, her infrequent returns to Ajan Kloss just made it more of a point to gamble with her crewmates whether the either the old corvette or the old A-wing was going to continue to be rust away or finally give in to it's disrepair.

Stepping out the ship, the fiery haired spacer took a cautionary look around the training grounds and meditation spot that had once belonged to the Zeltron Jedi who she had once trained along side as a youngling, like usual she kept a sharp eye out for pesky remote droids, but given the last time she had came here, the remotes probably had since learnt to give the spacer and the rest of the crew a wide berth, Either with their former Mandalorian hired gun using them as target practice, or Curse accepting the floating training droid's challenge and giving chase like the excitable buzz droid that she was. The absence of the training remote droids was one thing that she could expect, but what the spacer hadn't expected was the earie silence that hung around the forest.

Something just didn't sit right, usually she would have expected to have had one of the temple's hanger controllers berating her over the comms as they would so often do, as a result of her completely ignoring their landing directions and choosing to just set the ship down in the clearing. But today the comms were mute, kriff there wasn't even any reply when she had tuned into the channel to give her ID codes. Pursing her lips as she walked along the forest path away from her ship, looking up and down the path in an attempt to see someone, hell even one of the Temple guards coming to question her as usual, before shrugging and venturing a little further towards the temple.

Rounding on the path, the earlier suspicions that Curse might have clipped a comms wire by mistake was swiftly dismissed, as the sight of the Jedi Temple made everything clear as day. "What in the flying Kark has happened here!?!" The spacer cussed as she looked over the state of ruin and devastation that the Temple had been reduced to. Her hand moving down to the side of her hip to reassure herself that she had her weapons on her person. Looking at the scene before her it looked that this must of happened a while back, certainly wasn't fresh or recent - but she had come across more than enough wrecks to know that raiders and scavengers would likely be sniffing around the place like buzzards.

Pursing her lips for a moment, the Spacer debated whether to venture towards the temple ruins to investigate, or simply high tail it and get the kriff out of here. Deciding to go for the middle ground Eisa, back tracked along the path towards her ship, figuring that perhaps it would be best to perhaps avoid being out in the open for the time being.

When they returned to Ajan Kloss Curse had promised Eisa she'd stay on the ship so as to avoid causing another incident with the Jedi. But about three or four minutes after her master departed she had gotten bored and decided to cause another incident. She had picked up a few ships on the Rim Hopper's scanners, one in particular had landed much further away from the temple than any of the others. She figured anyone doing that wasn't a Jedi, and therefore Eisa wouldn't mind her doing a little sabotaging. Or at least, she wouldn't mind as much.

The journey through the dense jungles of the humid green moon wasn't what the buzz droid would call pleasant, but anything was worth it for the chance to cause a little mayhem. On the way she passed by three very darkly dressed organics, all sinister and broody looking. A droid didn't survive as long as she did without being able to recognize danger though, so she gave them a wide berth. Her small size and the high volume of foliage made it easy enough to slip by unnoticed.

When she finally pushed through the tree line into the clearing where the Sith ship had landed she reflexively let out an impressed whir.
A GX 1 Lantillian! Fancy, and just around as old as she was. She hadn't seen such a vessel in quite some time, and even better, she had never destroyed one. The Pistoeka would briefly scan the area to make sure it's owners weren't around before letting out a devious little chitter and making her way towards the transport. She eagerly jumped on and scurried up the hull, lighting her plasma torch as she looked for a way to access the ship.

Standing amidst the desecrated heart of the temple, Algus’ resolve was unwavering. Animalistic and confused, his orange saber cracked and thrummed, pushing out violently against the shadows of the temple walls and casting them in vehement amber; it reveled in its plumes of saffron lambency. He was angry and fierce, his normally somber demeanor giving way to a lion. He should have been here to defend the temple, but it was not what the force had wanted. Had it abandoned him once more?

Steadfastly, his footfall sounded in echoing claps across the floor, his lightsaber drawn outwards to his left side, his arm straight and elbow locked, letting its zenith fueled edge paint a red-hot line across the stone surface below him. Without hesitation, he walked out from the temple and into the clearing before it, the woods encircling him. Peering into the distance, he saw something, movement. “Jedi…Padawans...?” He shook his head, something was amiss. “That can’t be right.”

“You!”
His voice carried, causing birds to scurry, flapping their wings with the break of his cry, his attention drawn to a female that made her way resolutely to the temple-ground accompanied by others. Even through the corruption that permeated the area, he could smell the force on them. Stealing a breath, he drew his lightsaber low into a defensive Niman guard, a form that had been a useful companion in the past. and one that he was intimately familiar with. The group was an unknown factor, both in their reasoning for being at the temple and whom they were to begin with.

“What is your purpose here!? And the temple!?” It was clear that he was lost and although he remained an unshakeable defender of sullied ground, he had no idea what he was even defending against.

The Zeltron gasped and turned on her heels towards the ominous hum in the distance. An armor, a helmet, and a hand on what looked like a lightsaber hilt? Lani didn't need to sense the stranger in the Force to assume ill intentions. Or maybe it were just the unnaturally cold and colorless ruins that terrified the Padawan so much and made her step towards the bike.

As if not spooky enough, then came the shout from another direction, followed by the scurrying birds, and the cracking orange blade. That was the final straw. The Zeltron jumped up on the bike, turning the ignition with trembling hands. She didn't even pay any mind to how she extinguished Kori's lightsaber, holding the hilt to one of the handlebars.

"Jump on!" she yelled to her Twi'lek friend, hoping that she'd be fast enough. Hopefully, she would. In that case, Lani would gun it and send the black swoop bike soaring into the air, and away from the approaching Sith; towards the place where the Padawans' ship had previously landed. The only distraction would be to clip the saber to the belt.
