Hamara frowned momentarily as Anner began laughing, she still wasn't sure what to make of the Vahla and her skewed perception of...everything. "They aren't my words, unfortunately...they are words from a wise Jedi Master from the histories", she still looked out of the window, feeling somewhat vexed. "But of course, you probably would just think that such words were tainted by the writing of history...that the Jedi Master was the victor and whom he wrote about was the villain", she sighed for a moment, "if only everything were as black and white as you seem to see things". Since time immemorial, the paradox of fighting war in order to achieve peace had remained one of the greatest mysteries of the universe. Hamara could not answer the question. "I'm not sure why war even exists...I can only assume that it is the nature of all things, to fight. To survive. Who can really say? Such things are contrary to what I have learnt here at the Temple. Peace should just be peace...but nothing is as base and facile as that it would seem.".

Black and white is the way you seem to see things, don't get me wrong -said as if she was apologizing to her- I tried my best to show how much of a all-gray my vision is, but it seems i have failed on that. Everything is a shade of gray, since no ones vision, or point of view, is more important than someone elses. Unless of course that someone else can turn you into a smoldering crater. -added with a wry smile on her lips, still with her eyes placed upon the human- But I'm glad I made a point from all that, people fight for whats good for them, and thats universal. There is no true good nor true evil, such things as good and evil are relative to the socio-cultural model you were born in, right and wrong may vary greatly from one planet to another, or from one species to another. If the rebels win, the evil government was defeated and peace and prosperity shall reign. If the government wins, the evil inconformist rebels were defeated, and peace and prosperity will return despite the evil deeds of the rebels. Etcétera.

Thinking...
-she began to said as her look moved to the side, focused on nothing in particular. Her eyes were hollow, but the corpse of the late smile still on her mouth- Brings conflict, dilemmas, may bring unhappiness, hopelessness... But it also brings insight. Ignorance is a bliss, if you can afford living in it.

On the other hand Anner was calm, rather having fun with the debate, even when it touched points so sensitive on the start. In fact, it was an excellent way to know the Jedis, and get a grasp of how their past experiences may have been. Even if she was upsetting them, which was unsettling to think that they could be upset by mere talking and sharing point of views, it was way better than to go the hypocrite's way with a smile on her face making charismatic and funny comments. After all, if she was going to die for someone elses sake -or to kill someone else for their sake, and peace-, they better knew she was totally not okay with it, but she still did it because of her silly oaths. Oaths that were screaming to be broken.

She didn't say anything else, giving time for the Twi'lek to regain composture before he felt they were stomping on him, notwithstanding his suffering.

Hamara nodded gently, "I seem to have misunderstood you then, forgive me...I am unaccustomed to the voicings of ideologies of those who are not among the Jedi Order. Perhaps in not having any true practical experience in the universe, this is my own shortcoming." She turned her gaze gradually to Anner and offered a weak smile, "I can only interpret the writings of the old Masters and attempt to understand what they meant...but I am truly at a disadvantage for my lack of years and experience. This I will admit.", she fiddled with a small bronzium bracelet about her wrist and continued, "but if what you say is correct...if the concepts of 'good' and 'evil' are only defined by the culture that inherits and cultivates them, does that mean it is not universally and morally wrong to murder an innocent? Do we not have to draw the line in the sand somewhere, in order to protect life itself? If one culture believes it morally acceptable to take lives...and another finds it morally corrupt, who can judge what is right or wrong? I can never agree that it is 'right' or 'good' to end a life. No matter the circumstances. So in theory...your perceptions are fine, but only to the point where beliefs and ideology do not impact upon others and threaten their existence."

Kaz put his hands on his lap and closed his eyes, prepared to use the force.
He started breathing slowly and heavily, he used a technique taught by his master.

His master had taught this technique to clear any emotions he had for a fallen friend, some call it inhuman while some call it genius.

Kaz had cleared his head and now he looked outside the window and dived in the convesasion.

''War, war never chances. Theres allways two sides, the other wants wealth while the other wants freedom and peace.''
Kaz looked at the two and continued:

''War is a passage way to glory for the victor and a passage way to shame and death for the loser,''

Then Kaz took a smile and asked with a happy tone:

''So do you guys want to see a jewerly shop or an exotic pet shop?''

With all of them on board the shuttle now, it departed from the Temple docks and shot off into the Coruscant night.
Hamara sighed deeply at Kaz, "I'm really sorry for your loss my new friend...I don't think anyone really can claim victory in war. Both sides are essentially defeated, death reigns supreme."
She wanted to move away from the subject of war and death and battle, she knew the dark times of the galaxy would not go away tomorrow, but she hoped to think about something else, after an entire day of studying Jedi philosophy and reading documents from the war.
"I think...once we arrive, we should just walk down the promenade of the nightmarkets and look at everything. Is there anywhere specific you two would like to go?"

"Well then...Kaz'aia, I guess we'll just have to go everywhere, just to make sure I don't miss out on anything", Hamara winked playfully at her new Twi'lek friend. She wanted to lift his mood a bit; distract him somehow from the terrible news, away from the bleak topics they had been discussing.
She had left the Temple for the first time in months, and she wanted to have some fun before having to return to her studies.

Anner just shook her head and left the debate as it was, in pro if following their original plot of raiding the markets in a peaceful and considerated manner.- "Lets go then, i'm sure there are a lot of shop owners who would flip their shit over having a Jedi customber, maybe you could make a slight advantage of that if you don't like to bargain in other places" -said as a suggestion, while her hands slithere through her sides, checking that everything was in place and that she was not forgetting anything. She rather kept close control over everything, down there, there were people who could steal your pants if you were not paying attention.

Anner made Hamara lighten up a bit, and she laughed without any reserve. So much time at the Temple amongst the ancient doctrines of the Jedi had perhaps gone to her head, she thought perhaps that she took herself way too seriously sometimes. With being a Jedi there of course came great responsibility, but there was no reason why she couldn't enjoy herself too. All that time halled up in the archives studying was certainly not healthy. She needed to experience the universe, she was sure the Masters would agree that through experience, wisdom would flourish.
Their transport landed at one of the public platforms just south of the nightmarkets.
"We're here!", she practically beamed. She gathered herself and exited the vehicle, it would return to the Temple until they commed for it to pick them up later.
The vast nightmarkets sprawled before her, lanterns draped across expanding alleyways, lighting the plaza with a flood of incandescence that spread back into burgeoning streets and tapered off into adjacent boulevards.
Windows burst open high above the markets just feet from where Hamara now stood. Baskets flew from them and arced towards the oblivious crowds. They spasmed in mid-air, then spun and continued earthwards at slower, uneven paces.
The light pollution shone through uneven cloud cover with a coalescence of rainbow lights. Further down the row the stalls and barrows lay like untidy spillage.
In these streets, at these hours, the nightmarkets improved the smell of the midlevels with spices, and fresh vegetables, hot oil and fish and salt, cured meats, and exotic fruits.
The food stalls stretched the noisy length of the plaza. Books and manuscripts and holographs filled up the entrance to the markets, an avenue of desultory banyans and crumbling duracrete a little arc to the east. There were earthenware products from Tatooine, Saleucami, and various arid worlds spilling down the road to the south; engine parts to the west; automata and droids and toys down one side alley; clothes between two more; and countless other goods filling in all the various bazaars.
Hamara was entranced. She felt herself pulled in by the gravity of the crowds and turned to see if her companions - Anner and Kaz - were close behind.
"This place is amazing, I never imagined it to be anything like this!".

''Huh'' Kaz was thinking of something.

''Looks like they fixed up the place since my last visit.''
Kaz walked with Hamara showing her the amazing jewels, spices and whatnot they had here at the markets.
Kaz introduced various amount of different species that there were.
There were Twi'leks Rodians Wookies and all kinds of different species.

"Kaz'aia, look at this!", Hamara had wandered over to one of the copiously billowing jewellery stands and had sifted through the trinkets until she had found a very curious and beautiful celestial bracelet. It was rimmed with bronzium and a metallic substance that curled in serpentine patterns that as she put it on wound its ornate way from her wrist to lower elbow, but still allowed much free movement of her arm. There were astral gems of white and opaque blues, cloudy citrines dazzling into form as 'Eryon - the Burning Snake constellation'- or so the jeweller had stated to her as she adorned it. 120 credits a small tag denoted. A little pricey, but she loved it already. There was an inscription in tiny circular writing that ran down its filigree branches. Hamara read aloud -
"The stars and moons are eternal travelers, the years that come and go are voyagers too. For those whose lives float away on winds, for those who greet the distant ages leaving clouds in their wake, life is a journey - and the journey itself, home."
Hamara was enraptured. She paid the due credits and ran a gentle finger along the lines and curves of her new piece of jewellery. It was perfect.

"You really think so Kaz? I don't know why...but I felt so drawn to it, it immediately caught my eye amongst all the other pieces. These are definitely words of a wise poet...perhaps it once belonged to a Jedi? It's very philosophical for a mere piece of jewellery. But...I guess we'll never know."
Hamara smiled and then continued down market-row, inspecting various goods and trinkets and clothes, the overabundant piquance of the air and steam wafting from food carts really captured her in the moment. This was much more exciting than the Temple archives. Rather than reading about a story, she was experiencing it. "Are you going to buy anything? Or shall we just keep strolling?"

Hamara nodded and then continued walking down the promenade of the nightmarkets. There was so much to see, she couldn't take everything in all at once. They were swallowed by crowds coming and going as they walked. "Just let me know when you've had enough and we can head back to the Temple...I don't mind. Thank you as well, for coming here with me".

Hamara looked over her shoulder to see where Anner got to...she perhaps was in the crowd somewhere, or inspecting a particular stall somewhere. She was a little concerned, but figured that if she wanted to she would show up and find them. Hamara wandered into the clothing bazaars and began picking out various fabrics and designs and tried a few of them on, "what do you think Kaz? How do I look?", the most recent dress she tried on was in a rather outlandish fashion... vibrant green and silver silk rolling and rippling down her lithe figure. She wasn't entirely sure it suited her...probably more suited to a Twi'lek or Togruta with their various multichrome skin colours.

Hamara smiled gently to Kaz for a moment, she knew he was just being polite. The dress didn't really fit her, and pulled in all the wrong places. "It's a shame we can't really wear anything but our robes...but if I find something really nice, I might purchase it. Let's keep looking". She was wondering if her Twi'lek companion was getting bored with women's clothes and she linked arms with him. "Do you want to try anything on?", she grinned at him playfully.
Her commlink sounded for a moment and she furrowed a brow as she retrieved the message, it was from the Jedi Temple, an unfamiliar voice "Padawan Hamara...we have found a Master who will take you as an Apprentice. Please come to the Halls of Observation for a debrief tomorrow", the message ended there. She was overwhelmed, to say the least. "...did you hear that! I can't believe it, the Council seems to have found a Master for me!", she wasn't sure what to do...to keep shopping or return to the Temple at once.
