The final colony, a moonless world of typical size and gravity, occupies the same orbit as Kushaa'vo. Always on the opposite side of the system's twin suns, the world of Tesaeran is largely deserted now. The site of some of the most ferocious kith feuds leading up to the creation of Sith Sjet and the beginning of the Unification War, this once-verdant world is now a scorched hellhole perpetually frozen in a state of nuclear winter. Its vast cities lay empty and broken, townships abandoned, and orbital elevators nonfunctional. Tesaeran is ringed by ruined naval vessels and long-deserted defense stations, the halls of which are lined with the dead and the damned.

Further ruining the world is a terrible Echo in the Force, encompassing both Tesaeran and the space surrounding it. The agony and dread felt by the millions who perished on Tesaeran are experienced by anyone who ventures close; so strong is the Echo that some Kushari have been driven insane merely by setting foot on the world's frigid surface, caked with a thick layer of ash from centuries of fallout.

As such, it is the location of Des'maroth S'shen - the walk of the evil man. A form of capital punishment rarely enforced by the Kushari military and reserved only for the most horrific of crimes, the 'Walk' involves depositing the condemned on Tesaeran's surface in an escape pod with a suicide ampule and minimal food and water, forcing them to proceed through the world's capital city to the orbital elevator - where the Echo is strongest. If they make it, they can escape using the systems there though this is widely believed to be impossible; of the hundreds of Kith leaders and soldiers convicted of unforgivable war crimes after the Unification Wars, none survived the walk. Indeed, to this day, there is no recorded instance of any criminal surviving this form of punishment, with most consuming their ampule within a few hours of their arrival to the barren world.

Sitting in the passenger seat of a shaky and loose freighter was not how little Simba had planned to spend his thirteenth birthday. Though he knew, despite his father trying to impress that he was going to be okay, that there was a certain death that he would soon have to face. The young Kushari would be partaking in the Des'maroth S'shen, yet he was not evil, nor yet a man. The world of Tesaeran was once a beautiful and boisterous planet that was home to all of the Kushari of old. Though after the wars, it was known for a place that no man should ever have to witness. Stuck in a perpetual abyss, the planet should be destroyed. Though that was not the Kushari way, it was not the Mandalorian way. They would use this planet for those who have broken their code, those who have wronged their species terribly, and those men would die in agony.

This was the destination for the Verd'goten, the rite of passage set upon him by the very codes and laws little Simba had honored to uphold. His mind was no where else...

The freighter was nearing the opposite side of the system where the planet had been for centuries past. His father sat across from him, a dutiful and strong man. The strongest he had ever known, or seen. He knew this was important to not only him, but his father. After being set a code and law, bound to respect and honor it as such, to just be asked to sit still and lay down as their tie had come. This was something that Simba's father could not do. and so a new set of rules and codes would catch his attention, that of the Mandalorian way. Similar to that of Sjet, though now he is not asked to lay down.

The look in the man's eyes was that of pure worry. A look and emotion that little Simba had never seen in his father before. He had never shown any other emotion beside compassion and courage. This is what scarred him the most, this is how he truly knew he was in for something real...

As the old Barloz-class Freighter made its way to the deathly, abandoned world of Tesaeran, Lyon Skirata sat in the pilot's seat, thinking about how he had come to be in Kushari Space. Lyon was the Aliit'alor of Aliit Skirata, and whereas he should be in Mandalorian Space, helping his people on the home front, he had come here when he had learned of this Simba, a young Kushari, who wished to join the Mandalorians. To actually join the Mando'ade, one must undergo the verd'goten, a rite of passage where one goes from ge'verd to verd, from child to adult.

Lyon had heard little of the Kushari, had rarely even seen one, and knew little about their culture. One thing he learned when he had met with Simba's father was of this 'Des'maroth S'shen', a form of capital punishment used by the Kushari reserved for the worst criminals in their Federation. He had looked into it, and learned that there was some kind of 'Echo' in the Force here, a remainder of a war fought here in the past, that made anyone who passed through feel the pain, drear, and agony of all the dying souls from years ago. And according to the elder Kushari, none have yet to make it through."

Tesaeran soon began to enlarge, and the old Barloz registered the freighter as within the gravity well of the world. Soon, they would be nearly in the planet's atmosphere, which meant it was time to launch the pod. Setting the freighter to keep at the current altitude on autopilot, Lyon got up from his seat and headed into the passenger compartment of the old freighter. He saw the two Kushari, the ge'verd and the father, sitting, contemplating. They looked like they really cared for one another, so it made Lyon hope that they wouldn't part ways through death today. "We're here. You know what to do." Lyon addressed the young Kushari.

Simba said nothing to the Skirata Mandalorian. A simple nod to show that he understood what was next. The decent would be only the beginning, though being propelled in a pod from a ship thousands of feet above the air could be practiced. And so it was. The young Kushari had learned almost everything he needed to know from his father, and from his training. The rest would only come from direct experience. Though he was sure that he would not go through the same experience as he would soon begin.

Entering the pod, Simba looked back to gaze into his fathers eyes. They were passed the need for words, his fathers eyes saying all that they needed to. He could tell that he knew his only son would pass this, get through it to see him once again. This gave Simba courage to shake off some of the fear and proceed.

Given a small satchel, the doors had finally closed. Simba had little hopes that he was given anything of much use, considering the weight of the bag. Though anything could honestly help. The little Kushari did not know what he was in for, though he knew that his life would be always on the line. Simba waited for the pod to eject from the ship at a high acceleration.

Lyon watched solemnly as the two Kushari shared their speechless goodbyes, and nodded to the young ge'verd as he entered the pod. He did not want to speak to the father, less he say the wrong thing, and headed back to the cockpit. Taking the reigns of the old Barloz again, he slowly and steadily took the rattly ship down into the upper atmosphere, the freighter's sensors acknowledging the build up of heat on the outer Hull of the ship as he descended downward. Soon enough, they reached the drop point, where the ge'verd would begin his verd'goten.

Reaching an beskar-covered hand acrss the dashboard of the ship, he grabbed hold of a small lever, and pulled it down as far as it would go, where a panel lit up on the board, signaling that the escape pod had just been launched. Lyon could hear the pod hiss and whine, until the sound was no more, a sign that the pod had left its holding. The aliit'alor watched as the small pod descended down into the lower atmosphere of the planet, and silently, Lyon said "K'oyacyi, young ge'verd", a wish of good luck to the Mando'ad hopeful.

The pod drilled into the surface of the earth only seconds after it had entered the atmosphere. Though before little Simba could exit the pod, he could feel the Echo. Being force sensitive, even slightly, bore him no advantage to this side effect. If anything, it made the effect stronger and more palpable. Simba was shaking to reach the door activation key on the side panel. He had heard much about this Echo, having spent the previous few days learning as much as he could about his destination. He knew that this was the home planet of their Kushari ancestors, those stuck in a pointless war against themselves. Had it not been for the one Kushari, the one who founded the Sjet kith, then this place would have been obliterated completely in the war.

Stumbling out of the pod, Simba fell onto the fallout ridden ground. Thick black dust poofed out in the air around him as his body laid on the ground for a minute. The feeling was weighing on his mind, he could all of his dead ancestors, those who fought each other and died here on this planet centuries ago. It was like the force was allowing them to survive only to wreak dread and havoc on those who came back to this planet. Simba put his hands to his head, trying to stop them. He squirmed on the ground, trying to get them out. The minute he had taken laying on the ground, quickly turned into an hour. The poor Kushari never even getting the chance to stand and see what he was going to face. His hope of survival quickly sliced in half.

Tougher than a normal Kushari, Simba wasnt going to let this kill him. After getting used to the pain, or at least coping with it for a long enough time to realize that he should probably move, Simba managed to get to his feet. Feeling the satchel slung across his shoulder, he figured it now to be a good enough time to see what was inside. Reaching in with one paw he felt a capsule, one given to end his own life...he felt nothing else inside.

The fallout created an obstacle by itself. After gathering the courage to move on, he knew his destination and where he needed to go. Through the abandoned city to the Orbital Elevator, where he wouldfind the means to escape this dreadful planet, or so he hoped. The effects of the Echo not relenting, it was tearing him apart. Though he knew that if he didnt move on, he would surely die. The capsule stayed in the satchel and around his shoulder, the option ready to be used at any given time.

According to the sensor probe on the escape pod, Simba had made it to ground. With that set, Lyon looked over the dashboard to see if the Long-Range Scope that was attached to the old Barloz was still functioning, and it was. When he had first been asked to come here to the Kushari System, he had found it a complicated process getting here. As it turned out, the Kushari were paranoid people, as the only way to get to and fro the Kushari's Home System was via shuttles and transports at Embassies on various worlds. Lyon preferred having his own system of transportation, but could tolerate it if that meant bringing another verd into the Mandalorian fold.

When Lyon got here, Simba's father managed to procure this old Barloz for their use. Though it wasn't in the best shape, it was suitable and even had some nifty features, like this Long-Range Observer Scope. Seeing that the scope was working, Lyon dialed it to the location where Simba's pod had landed, and watched as the young Kushari crawled out of the pod, and fell over in pain, presumably at the Echo that surrounded this world. Lyon was not Force-Sensitive, so he couldn't feel it like Simba could, at least not from this distance.

Activating the ship's intercomm, Lyon tapped in to speak with Simba's father. "Simba's pod has touched down. Could you please get up here, I have some things I need to ask you about." The Mandalorian Aliit'alor asked of the elder Kushari, still yet watching Simba deal with the pain.

The old Verd heard the command over the intercom. If it hadnt been for Mandalorian traditions, he would have overseen his child's Verd'goten himself, though it was not the case. The large cat-like figure moved nimbly aboard the shaky and older shuttle. The Damarian-Kushari father entered the pilot's wing of the ship where he was called by the Skirata Mandalorian.

"What was it you needed to talk about?" The father was a powerful and respectful warrior, and had respect for his fellow Mandalorian.

_________On the surface__________________________________________

Simba did not realize until now how far he had been dropped from the main city. A terrible miscalculation that could have cost him his life. He tried to push the thought of the capsule out of his mind, though it was difficult. The thought had dawned on him so many times, the pain was nearly unbearable. The path to the city was not difficult. He could see it in sight, at least the outline of the broken city through the thick fallout. His fur was beginning to become dusted with the black snow, but he did not care. The pain was more than enough to keep his mind occupied, that and the thought of taking his own life. Although it was tempting, he knew that his father would be ashamed if his son took his own life on his rite of passage.

Passing over a short hill, there were abandoned vehicles careened off of the beaten road. Near some of the vehicles was a pile of the black snow, though it was clear what was underneath. A pile of bones, Kushari by the looks of it. What else would be on this planet? The bones were large and seemed as though they have been there for quite some time. His hopes were even more dampened, though he kew that he could not...and would not let his father down.

Lyon turned his head slightly as the Mando'ad Kushari entered the cockpit, and gestured for him to take a seat in the copilot's chair. After that, he pointed at the Long-Range Scope on the dashboard. "What can you tell me about this 'Echo in the Force' that surrounds this place? I presume something terrible happened, considering its effects are adverse enough to be causing your son visible pain." He said, in a respectful tone. He knew the elder Kushari was a verd, but did not know of his experience in the Mando'ade, but regardless, he was a Mandalorian, and that alone earned Lyon's respect.

While he watched over this verd'goten, Lyon was determined to learn as much about the Kushari as possible. If this ge'verd managed to survive the 'death walk', then he wanted to understand the culture that could breed such a strong and capable warrior as he. All he knew as of yet was that the Kushari were a paranoid people who didn't want their system found by anyone, including themselves.

On the Surface of Tesaeran...

Another escape pod landed, impacting with a force strong enough as to embed part of the pod within the earth of Tesaeran. The entrance to the pod hissed open, and out crawled Faun, a Kushari Civilian with an infamous reputation. He had been condemned to Des'maroth S'shen after going on a murdurous spree, killing 14 people in a short period of time. It didn't take seconds after he crawled out of the pod did he start grasping at his head, the effects of the Echo surrounding this planet buzzing within his head, causing pain similar to a freshly-cut limb, something his victims would have attested to, had they not been killed.

Faun considered taking his suicide capsule, but then saw something. Another Kushari, this one a young man who was also feeling the effects of the Echo. Though the Echo's pain was intense, something about the adrenaline rush when you took a life relieved Faun, so maybe that was what he needed. As the younger Kushari headed forward, Faun began stalking him, preferring to strike when he would know it. He did his best to keep out of sight, and did what he could to ignore the pain, a failing effort.

"It is said that the Echo in the Force was caused by the pain that the first of the Kushari had suffered during their war. In the beginning of our species, there were two Kith separated by an internal war that nearly extinguished them both all together. So many Kushari had died on either side of Kith. The war consuming the planet and it's surrounding. Then came one Kushari who saw this was as a huge scar to the species as a whole and to their home planet." The Kushari paused for a moment, remembering his species history as if he was the one who wrote their history in textbooks they had memorized, and so remembered years later. "Tens of millions died during the hundred-year conflict. Entire Kith vanished in day-long holocausts as entire cities were bombed to rubble by strategic bombers and artillery. Rebellions and revolts tore nations apart, divided families, and set the entire species on the path to utter annihilation.

As the proxy Kith were annihilated one by one and the two major Kiths leading the conflict, House Taros and House Makura, declared war on one another, a new Kith rose to power on our colony world of Damar.

Disgusted by the weakness, the strife, and the senseless violence of the Kiths on the homeworld, the legendary force-user, Sajuuk, rallied the varied governments of Damaros and unified the Damarian people. This unification saw every military and police force on Damaros folded together into a single entity, a new Kith by name of Sjet. Though vastly outnumbered by the armies of Taros and Makura, Sjet was nevertheless quick to launch an attack on the homeworld, bent on bringing order and peace to the warring Kith at any cost.
" He paused for a moment. "This is what he...this is what my son is now feeling. The millions of those who had died in a senseless war. And the war to unify my species, those millions only added to the pain he is feeling. This is why only those who have betrayed the Kushari species on such a high level are casted to this planet. This being worse than execution..."

_______________________________________________

Simba had trekked far enough to be within a few miles of the city. More bones had been discovered underneath the ash and snow that covered the planet. The young Kushari nearly limping from the pain, his body almost succumbing to the physical burden that fell upon him. It was a constant pressure combined with a real burning sensation. And his mind was also being attacked, attacked by the millions upon millions who have died for the future of the species. The pressure of all those men and women, warriors and civilians, all reaching out to touch the young, innocent Kushari boy.

Simba felt that this was too much, it was unfair. He was sure that no other boy in the universe had to go through this. Though as these thoughts went through his mind he also realized that he would be the first to come back from the walk, but only if he was determined enough. He had already made it passed many before him.

He could not sense anything in the force, he might have well been non sensitive. The pain so unbearable that it took away his ability to call upon the force. He did not realize that his stalker was near him and watching every move he made. His mind completely devout of the thought of another living being being on this planet. Though he had always thought there were some creature foul enough to live in this ash.

Lyon frowned at the tale the elder Kushari told, a sad story of how war and infighting between a species caused the desolation of their homeworld. To the Skirata Aliit'alor, it seemed like the tale of the entire galaxy on a small scale, with war scarring its past and marking its present and future, something that would not end any time soon. Turning his attention back to the task at hand, Lyon looked at the Long Range Scope and watched the small ant-sized spec that was Simba. "He has quite the journey in front of him, that's certain. You know, this is the first time I've ever even heard of your species, so what can you tell me of this 'United Kushari Federation'?" Lyon inquired, curious to learn as much as he could on this excursion.

- - - - - - - - - - - - -

Faun continued to follow the young Kushari, stumbling as he went, doing what he could in vain to fight the pain the Echo induced upon him. Within twenty meters of the young boy, Faun tripped and fell over something. Looking back to see what he had fallen over, he quickly scooted away when he saw he tripped on the skeletal remains of another Kushari. Looking around him frantically, the murderer saw a piece of shattered glass, why it was there was of no concer, only that in Faun's mind, a shard of sharp glass was as good a knife as any. Picking it up, he slowly made his way up until he was standing, and seeing the younger Kushari still nearby, he knew it was his time to strike and hopefully ease this pain. With his right paw held high with the shard in his hand, he screamed out as he ran towards the younger Kushari, ready to end his life and Faun's own pain.

The Sjet was careful not to say too much to the Skirata Mandalorian. The Kushari as a species were not as paranoid as one might think, though they were very protective. And while he did trust Lyon, he was wary about giving out such specific information to anyone outside of his species.

"The United Kushari Federation is made up of members of each of the six Kiths. Lead by our leader, the Kushaa'vo, they come together to discuss and plan for the future of our species. They are the governing members of our society and are highly respected members." Keeping his words short and sweet, he made no indication that he was trying to hold back telling him everything.

_________________________________________

There was no overcoming the pain that was being done to the small Kushari. There was no way to ignore it either. The constant terror that had gone through him and continued to was more than enough to make someone end their own life. Simba had passed more dust covered bones and boulders. He expected to see them at this point, expected to see the dead remains left by evil Kushari who deserved the death they had gotten. Yet Simba did not deserve this, he wanted it. He chose to follow this path as his father had, he chose to be down on the surface of this dreaded planet. To be one of the only beings to make it through such an atrocity.

Simba could not hear over the pain, he could not sense the Kushari murderer that was coming in closer behind him. The mans scream being a beacon which alerted the small boy, Simba turned around in a panic. His first reaction was hindered by the pain he was going through, yet he still managed to jump out of the way. His jump did not land him far, his muscles were deteriorating as they were not accustomed to the intensity he was being put in.

Faun's attack was interrupted as the man tripped over the curled up cub. Simba scrambled and got to his feet, hurt even worse from the kick that led to the mans fall. The young Kushari searched for something to use, something to defend himself with, hoping he wouldnt have to use his pack. Not too far, Simba noticed another pile of bones. It was his only option to defend himself. Diving for the bones, his paw felt the snow-covered long piece. Getting up and dusting himself off, the bone he had chosen was about three feet long, it was thick, and had a large and heavy head. It seemed as if it was an arm and shoulder of another male Kushari. He tempted the murderer to try again.

Lyon nodded and listened, getting the gist of the Kushari society and their governmental systems. These 'kiths' sounded similar to the aliits of the Mando'ade, which made the Skirata leader that much more curious. "Could you tell me any more about these Kiths? They sound similar to the clans of my people, the Mandalorians. Do your beliefs and culture differ from each Kith, or do each of you have similar societies?" He was going to get as much info about these people as he could, not only because they seemed fascinating to Lyon, but they may very well become a good ally to the Mandalorian Clans if Lyon garnered enough information about them to bring back to the Mand'alor.

Tripping over to balled-up kid, Faun fell to his stomach, and gasped in pain, not only from falling, but also because it amplified the pain the Echo was bringing upon him. It induced a lot of pain, enough to make the murderous Kushari just lay there for a moment, propped up on his arms, trying in vain to ignore the pain, and push it back. This felt like a bad migrane on a much, much more massive scale, berating his brain with the stress of millions of deaths.

Turning his head slowly, yet still fighting the pain, he saw the younger Kushari standing there with a big bone, just tempting him to come at him. Faun managed a half smirk, and a hestitated and heavy laugh, begrudged by the Echo, and made his way to his feet. Though he could feel the deaths yet, the adrenaline rush one got from killing another sentient being was growing within him, not because he had killed the kid, but because he was about to. Looking around him, Faun could see what appeared to be a elder Kushari skull. He picked the thing up and examined it for a second, before chunking the thing, aiming straight for the kid's left knee.

"In fact they are very much alike. So much so, it is the reason why I have chosen to join Clan Fett as a Mandalorian myself. There are six Kiths, all sharing the same set of codes and another set brought forth by Kith Sjet, which would translate to the warrior Kith as you people are. Kith Sjet is the military of the Kushari people, they are the guardians of our race. After I retired from the military, they said my age and experience, along with my accomplishments granted me the opportunity. But I guess I wasnt ready to do such a thing, so I went off to explore. This is when I ran into the Mandalorian culture and society, well...my wife and I. We have adapted the Mandalorian culture and codes to our own, which are not so dissimilar." The Kushari was alright discussing his own family, though his thoughts right now remained on his son. Looking in the long range scope, it ppeared that there was another down on the surface. Even though the father did not show any emotion, it was evident that he was concerned for his sones well being.

________________________________________________

Simba waited and watched as the murderer went to find the Kushari skull. Normally it would have bothered him, using his ancestors remains as tools, despite them having deserved the fate they had gotten. This thought did not even cross his mind, the pain too much to burden anything more. Simba waited for the man to come at him with the skull, though instead the throw was weak, but enough to crack straight for his shin.

Simba used the bone as a golf club and swung away, sending the skull not too far, though he attempted to send it back at him.

"You will die, one way or another, but you will not kill me!!" The boy yelled over the top of his lungs, a rush of adrenalin washed over him, yet the pain lessened for the moment it was still very much felt. Simba ran towards the murderer with a horrific intent. The club in his hand, and his pack secured tightly on his side, Simba ran hard. And as he closed in on his target, he swing the strong, thick bone violently and repeatedly at the mans head and chest, hoping to kill him with his rush.

Lyon nodded and was silent after this. This was a Verd'goten, not an interrogation session. The Mando'ad looked at the scope and watched as the young man underwent his test.
_____________________________________________________________________

When the boy came at him with the bone and started batting away at him, Faun put up his left arm, doing what he could to block his attack, adding the physical pain to the mental torment he was undergoing. "Not quite how I imagined this," Faun remarked as he made sure the glass fragment was still in his hand. "But we can still end on a high note!" As he finished, he thrusted forward with the glass, aiming at Simba's chest.

All of these aggressive movements were a torment on the little Kushari. The notion of fighting another while in these conditions alone was enough to weigh on his mind. Though Simba had to focus in order to survive, he was determined to fight till the end, realizing that only death could come from this. They werent about to partner up and take on this planet together, that was definitely not going to happen.

Simba was wary of the man's shard of glass, knowing that it must be difficult to hold without severely cutting his self. Simba would use this to his advantage, making his enemy clutch his own weapon so hard that it would hurt him tremendously. The Kushari ignored the mans taunts, he was purely focused. As he thrusted forwards, Simba bashed his hand away with his bone, looking to increase the grip of his paw on the shard.

As the younger bashed away at Faun's hand, he noticed something. A sharp slice of pain, not near as painful as the Echo but noticable, was eminating from his hand. One quick look at the blood enveloping his hand revealed the problem, and he dropped the shard, seeing the gashes and cuts the glass made. Angry and in pain, Faun ignored the attacks and leaped forward, hoping to tackle the kid and end him on the ground. Dirty and murderous, two things the murderer enjoyed more than anything. "This has been fun, buts its high time we end this."

The murderer leapt onto Simba, causing him to drop the bone he had used as a club. The blood from the older Kushari's hand drenched Simba's fur, painting it a deep red color. The man pounded on him while he was on his back nearly defenseless, there wasnt much he could do besides guard his face with his arms. Faun didnt seem to care for the pain, or his hand, as he wailed on the little Kushari with blood flying everywhere.

Simba knew that he could not take much more of this. Any amount of pain, little or large, combined with the Echo in the force was enough to drive any one mad. The bloodied Kushari reached for the shard, knowing that it had to be somewhere near. Without looking, and by feeling out with his paw, pushing the grey dust until his paw could feel something sharp. Immediately assuming that it was he shard, he picked it up and tried slashing Faun's face, anything to get him off so that he could have a chance to kill him.

"Karking schuta!" Faun yelled as the shard scratched across his face, cutting the skin on his eyes and sending him off the kid, hands at his face, now not only did he have to deal with the Echo and his hand, but now he was virtually blind as well. He layed there, writhing in pain, cursing as he was outsmarted by some kid. Him, a murderer of dozens of people, outwitted by a kid. It was a horrible way to go out, but he figured he got what he deserved.

Simba struggled to his feet. It was difficult, his whole body in pain and even more so that the full grown Kushari was on top of him wailing on the poor kid. Managing to get o his feet, he stood over Faun, not caring to find out any information of the man. He knew that if he did not kill him, Faun might find a way to retaliate. Even though he was pretty sure that the chances of that were slim to none, he did not want to risk the chance.

Simba walked closer to him, gripping his throat still before slicing his throat. More blood poured out, though Simba made sure to back away before he was covered in it any more.

The small Kushari sighed before falling back on his ass, even that hurt him. Relieved that he had survived this far, he knew that the ned was no where in sight. Stretching his arms behind his back, the small paw ran over the bone he had used as a weapon. With his survival instincts kicking in, he grabbed the bone and thought of an idea.

Fashioning an edged weapon from the bone, the shard of glass, and a strap from his pack, Simba now had a weapon to protect himself with. Not only a weapon, but a tool.

The city seemed much farther than is was before the murderer attacked, and he kew the trek would be long. Though now under the security of a weapon, at least he had some sort of safety. The pain he was going through dreaded him, but he knew he had to reach beyond the city. His journey continued.

A beeping noise coming from the dashboard of the freighter caught Lyon's attention. Looking over to see what the problem was, it appeared it was the ship's sensors, attuned to watch for any changes down on the surface. Reading the data, there wasn't a group of men or ships or tanks, anything that the Skirata Alor expected, but rather something different, something that could bode ill-will for Simba. "Sensors are picking up massive cold front moving towards Simba's position. The world's supposed to be under a state of nuclear winter, right?" Lyon paused, and swallowed down, worried somewhat for the young kid. "If so, that means he's got a fairly large blizzard headed his way." He spoke to the boy's father, as he watched down on the monitor, still observing his progress.
