The Veruna Initiative
Since the formation of the Consortium, the Naboo have been front and centre in the expanding alliance's plans to bring peace and prosperity to the mid and outer rim. A wealthy world, steeped in history, Naboo has recently undergone an election to select a new Monarch, with Queen Réillata taking the throne. New to the office, and keen to establish a lasting legacy for herself, Queen Réillata seeks to expand the capacity of her world to take a leading role within the region, and solidify its place as a powerful world in the Consortium.
Thread 1 - 'Aere Perennius'
Many of the worlds brought into the Consortium during its earliest days were poorer planets in the Outer Rim. In recent years more planets from the Core have joined. With poverty rife in the Rim, and the lower levels of the Core, an education initiative would provide a lasting legacy that brings new talent into the Consortium. Modelled off of the Legislative Youth Program, a new educational initiative shall be launched in the Outer Rim, and the lower levels of the Deep Core, to provide schooling for those who would otherwise go without. Working as a team, you shall take a group of new students to Tatooine, shadowing the local magistrate to learn first-hand how difficult the process of building a law-abiding society in the rim can be.
Open to: 2-3 PCs.
Objective: Take a team of new students in the program to the Tatooine Magistrates, and learn how a just society can flourish in the most remote conditions.

Thread 2 - 'Si Monumentum Requiris, Circumspice'
Across the Outer Rim, huge swathes of entire worlds have fallen behind the mind-rim and core thanks to corruption and the degradation of infrastructure on these worlds. It has made the development of these planets near impossible, and so a large investment must be made to bring some of these planets 'up to speed'. Queen Réillata has made the decision to bring together a group of business beings and advisors in Theed, to set up an infrastructure bank, to set these wrongs to right.
Open to: 2-3 business/politically focused PCs.
Objective: Attend a meeting with the Queen of Naboo, and formulate a plan to generate funding and direct investment into the Outer Rim worlds of the Consortium.

Thread 3 - 'Sic Semper Tyrannis'
Whilst the Consortium has expanded exponentially, there remains a few pockets of resistance to the legally based order. Some of the Outer Rim worlds still make use of slaves, often 'renaming' the practice so as to avoid the scrutiny of an overworked local magistrate. The Queen is keen to do what she can to liberate slaves where they can be found, and that is where you come in. A small team are to be sent to Tatooine, wherein they shall break into the operation of a local crime lord, and release his slaves, estimated to be some twenty in total. Return them to Naboo, where the Queen has arranged for resettlement and a new life for them.
Open to: 2-3 pew-pew stab-stab focused PCs.
Objective: Break into a criminal operation on Tatooine, and liberate some slaves.

Notes
The overall objective of this mission is to expand the humanitarian efforts of the Naboo across the Consortium, basically pumping some of its wealth into the Outer Rim with a view to seeing those worlds do a lot better under the Consortium than they did on their own.
