Essential Information
—————————————
Kyosuke believes he was born on the notorious moon,
Nar Shaddaa, to a family that tried to preserve the remnant traditions of it's rich cultural inheritance. He was given a decent education from various members of the extended family, which included a broad variety of subjects and a few field trips to nearby star systems. He was taught the traditional martial arts styles of his forbearers alongside most of his other relatives at the family dojo, involving unarmed combat and various weapons. This training also gave the Yamato members a chance to defend themselves when the family's shady activities drew unwelcome attention. His mother was a distinguished synthweaver from early in her own days, another tradition from their people's timeworn culture. She passed her techniques down to him and other youths from within the overarching Yamato family who would typically be found wearing their own handcrafted garbs made from shimmersilk and other fine materials. He didn't really know about his mother's career, but it seemed to him like she was some kind of bigwig smart lady at some sort of shady tech place. Eventually he became old enough to join his father's workshop and aid the extended family, modifying tech of all sorts alongside the rest of the crew. Most of it was legal, but he didn't really know the difference enough at the time to realize that it wasn't always the case. Either way he did as he was told and learned to keep his nose out of the family's real agenda.

He was barely a young teenager when his sensitivity to the Force was discovered by a wandering Jedi, who happened to find the young Kyosuke as he saved his friends from a crashed speeder that the group of kids thought would've been fun to steal for a joyride. The Yamato household took some time to come to terms with the persuasive reasoning of the Jedi that wanted to take one of their own away. They understood the fact that he'd be better off in the Jedi Order learning from professionals that already understood the ways of the Force than from themselves, and ultimately left the decision up to him. Kyo reluctantly left Nar Shaddaa alongside the Jedi Master, and soon thereafter began his official training as an initiate in the Jedi Order.

The education, work ethic, and martial prowess that Kyo obtained as a child helped him adapt to the responsibilities and discipline required of him during his initial time within the Order. His exceptional skill as a naturally athletic fighter saw him paired with a tenured Jedi Knight that had spent the last few decades expanding her knowledge of Force based abilities so that his overall skillset would be a little more balanced. Over the next few cycles the two covered a vast plethora of techniques, though the lad had a long way to go before he could perform most of them. His studies and missions gradually grew to encompass the wild side of the galaxy as he and his Master began to distance themselves from most faction controlled star systems out of caution. She seemed convinced that the Sith would soon defeat the Jedi Order and whoever managed to survive would be sent into hiding, so they figured they should learn to adapt to that kind of lifestyle while they still had a chance incase the worst happened. They continued to serve the Jedi Order from as much of a distance as they could get away with, often surviving as spacers and hunters.

Along the way Kyosuke had learned a small handful of cultures and languages common to the Outer Rim and nearby systems. At times the two were forced to make difficult decisions about who they could and couldn't help in order to keep their identities hidden, which often left his Master agitated with the factions that claimed dominion in the galaxy. They even joined the bounty hunter's guild with alternate identities so they had a cover for their activities and could make some extra credits to support their wandering lifestyle. When they were forced into a fight that they couldn't win without weapons they would rely on equipment such as blasters, bows, and vibroblades instead of their lightsabers in order to keep their affiliation with the Jedi as discreet as possible.

Kyosuke completed his trials and was knighted shortly before his Master exiled herself in a bizarre claim that she would save the future of the galaxy. He was left stunned and confused by her radical decision, and was forced to reconsider the way he survived. To make sense of everything and steel himself Kyo returned to his old home on Nar Shaddaa where he began to reconnect with his family. After doing a few jobs for his father he acquired the family's old starship, a HWK-290 light freighter known as the Shinigami that he could use as a home and base. During this next few cycles he would go on to continue his reclusive lifestyle while he worked to maintain his position within the Jedi Order from a distance, completing many covert missions on the edge of the galaxy that often went unnoticed. His recruitment into the Jedi Shadows was known to very few, and there are times when he finds himself representing the Order in such a way that he struggles to come out of his shell and act like a proper role model of his station.

Personality
————————
Enough time spent with the young man would reveal his persona to be reclusive or uninterested, which could make him seem as cold and distant when he is actually just shy and often misunderstood. He is compassionate and empathetic enough to feel for people in rough circumstances, and will try to help out when doing so won't negatively impact the Jedi Order due to his actions. He also rarely shows his bright blue eyes, instead choosing to keep them covered by his thin black bangs that barely seem to impede his vision.

When he is forced to fight he will often prioritize defense and evasion over offense, preferring to protect his comrades and often taking the attention of their aggressors unto himself instead -- unless they are better suited for that role, of course.

Skills
————

Excels at archery, stealth, and martial combat (involving unarmed, lightsabers, and melee/throwing weapons common to his culture). He is certainly not a master of these skills, but thinks he could be one day.

Adept, but not quite as excellent, are his proficiencies with athletics, resilience, perception, and pistol type blasters. His mechanics skill could also be considered on this level, but he still has much to learn before he can craft anything advanced.

Decent skills that have been developing over the course of his backgrounds include his craft in synthweaving, piloting, computers, investigation, and survival.

Barely above average when it comes to his knowledge of the Underworld and Outer Rim. His natural charm, negotiation, and deception have all dwindled to this level since he has been spending most of his time alone and uncertain the last few cycles. Since the time after his Master's disappearance he has noticed that his once extraordinary level of discipline has degraded to this level as well.

Averages. With the mix of his family's education system and that of the Jedi Order, Kyosuke studied a broad variety of scientific and cultural subjects, but they were never his forte and he never specialized in any of them. This left him with only an average understanding of things like astrogation, medicine, and lore. He can also use blasters other than pistol types at an average level.

Rather lacking is his knowledge of most other regions in the galaxy, including the Core Worlds. He doesn't have much in the way of leadership, coercion, or xenology, and he can hardly use heavy ranged weapons. Aside from Galactic Basic he can't really speak any other languages, but he can at least understand Binary and a few others that are common in the Outer Rim such as Huttese. Lastly, he has very limited knowledge of the Sith language, and can barely understand a fraction of it.

Force
————
Kyo was born with the rare ability
Electrokinesis, though it would be some time before this was discovered and even longer before he was able to make even the slightest use of it. From a young age he learned the ways of the Force and its lore during his initial cycles in the Jedi Order. His routine martial arts discipline allowed him to quickly pick up lightsaber combat and its various forms, though he continued to favor the traditional martial arts style of his family's culture. He was pretty decent when it came to Telekinesis, Stasis, and Dull Senses, but was rather weak in Heal, Sense, and Sustenance. His main focus was on the combative powers such as Force Enhance, Weapon, and Speed that could be used to augment his natural prowess. During his time with his former Master he was persuaded to broaden his horizons and learned of many other techniques, but only had enough opportunities to become roughly adept with only a few of these powers. Kyo's Master focused on teaching him deceptive and defensive powers that could help them survive against the Sith and the wilds of the Outer Rim, such as Mental Manipulation, Barrier, and just enough of Cloak to at least do it while stationary.

Meanwhile his Master revealed her limited understanding of the dark side to her young Padawan so that he would be prepared when he was to inevitably face a sensitive who used such techniques. Ever since the loss of his mentor he has had to mostly rely on himself and any archives he could find to further his understanding of both sides of the Force. He vigilantly practices the neutral and light side oriented techniques in hopes to have better control over his stamina and concentration while channeling them, and seeks to further develop the other abilities he learned of from his former Master.

She passed her techniques down to him and other youths from within the overarching Yamato family who would typically be found wearing their own handcrafted garbs made from shimmersilk and other fine materials. Bored with his family's rigid culture, Kyo often snuck out of their well-guarded skytower to explore the shadows of the world with other kids from the surrounding skyslums.

Eventually Kyo joined his father's work on the side to aid the family, and they even began to take offworld bow-hunting trips together with some of the other Yamato family relatives when times allowed, which was another tradition of their native culture. Kyo soon found himself illegally modifying equipment, droids, ships, and vehicles all at the behest of his father for the sake of the family business. He was completely unaware that his mother was involved with some of the experimental projects in the shadows of Nar Shaddaa. The youth slowly began to lose interest in most things, and started to develop a wanderlust to travel across the stars through the comforting void of space, where he could run away from the chaos that was the only life he knew. He was still a preteen when his sensitivity to the Force was discovered by a wandering Jedi, who happened to find the young Kyo as he saved his friends from a crashed speeder that the group of kids thought would've been fun to steal for a joyride. Kyo and his Master continued to serve the Jedi Order from as much of a distance as they could get away with, often surviving as spacers and hunters. Along the way he had learned a little less than a dozen languages and cultures of the Outer Rim and nearby systems from first hand experience. At times the two were forced to make difficult decisions about who they could and couldn't help in order to keep their identities hidden, which often left his Master agitated with the factions that claimed dominion in the galaxy. They had to learn to rely on each other, and even joined the bounty hunter's guild with alternate identities so they had a cover for their activities and could make some extra credits to support their elusive lifestyle. When they were forced into a fight that they couldn't win without weapons they would rely on equipment such as blasters, bows, and vibroblades instead of their lightsabers in order to keep their affiliation with the Jedi as discreet as possible.

Completely unaware that his Master had taken him to a Force Nexus for his trial, Kyo believed he had actually witnessed the fall of the Jedi Order. During this trial he witnessed himself become a Sith so that he could survive the demise of the Jedi, and struggled as he found himself forced to strike down his former comrades. He eventually overcame the vision after a battle with the disillusion of his future, and returned to his Master having successfully completed his trials. Shortly after he was knighted the woman quietly exiled herself, and vanished from Kyo's life.

Kyosuke completed his trials and was knighted shortly before his old Master exiled herself in a bizarre claim that she would save the future of the galaxy. He was left stunned and confused by her radical decision, and was forced to reconsider the way he survived. To make sense of everything he returned to his old home on Nar Shaddaa where he inherited the family's old starship, a HWK-290 light freighter, which was legally modified to act as a home and base. During this period of his life he would go on to continue his reclusive lifestyle while he worked to maintain his position within the Jedi Order, completing many covert missions that often went unnoticed by the rest of the galaxy. His recruitment into the Jedi Shadows was known to very little people, and he has become even more elusive since becoming a Shadow.

Personality
————
This reclusive Jedi usually comes across as a pretty ordinary dude at first glance (depending on his loadout), if not a little distracted by his app-heavy Smartpad Dataphone. Enough time spent with him would reveal his withdrawn mannerisms, which could make him seem as cold and distant when he is actually just shy and often misunderstood. He is compassionate and empathetic enough to feel for people in rough situations, and will try to help out when doing so won't jeopardize the Jedi Order due to his actions. Despite being such a shy guy he has developed a soft yet deep tenor singing voice during his time flying around alone with music as his only companion, but you'll never catch him singing in front of a crowd.

When he is forced to fight he will often prioritize defense and evasion over offense, preferring to protect his comrades and often taking the attention of their aggressors unto himself instead -- unless they are better suited for the role, of course.

OUTFITS

Kyosuke's Knight Lurker Armor

Knight Lurker Helm

This enclosed helmet has a magnetic rim that allows it to be sealed to the rest of the armor or tilted back, slid down, and secured to the back of the armor. This can hold the helm in place like a hood or be detached. The heavily tinted transparisteel visor makes it extremely difficult to see the wearer's face, and slightly lessens the sudden impact of bright lights or flashes. This in turn becomes difficult to see out of in darker areas when not using one of its low-light or thermal vision modes. The helm also contains a voice scrambler, survival HUD, and an integrated commlink that can be connected to wireless devices. At the back of the helmet is the main operating unit of the filter, which connects to the breathing apparatus built into the extended chin portion through small tubes along the interior jawline of the helmet. The filter at the front can be removed or replaced by a rebreather after some minor modifications.

Kyosuke's Knight Lurker Armor

Redesigned a dozen times since the day he became a Padawan, this is the 13th rendition of Kyosuke Yamato's mostly-handmade Jedi Knight armor. He generally only wore this subversive version when he tried to conceal his identity as a Jedi, but most of the rest of his other Jedi-related outfits have all been pretty much torn to shreds over the last dozen cycles, making this one of the last remaining ones in his collection. Xonolite from Mustafar was incorporated into the durasteel armor's forging process to give it a black and red obsidian appearance. The material was also melted down to be engraved into the armor and Shadowsilk garbs that make up the long black tunic.

The silky synthweave fabrics cover a thin lightweight environment suit that is designed to seal to the accompanying helmet, gloves, and boots to protect the wearer from toxins and other hazards. The chemically treated silks and Gundark-leather of the boots and gloves are decently resistant to the elements and are slightly cushioned to somewhat reduce the noise they make. A thin duraplate piece of armor is attached to the exterior of each boot to protect the shins. The wrists and forearms are covered by thin plates of cortosis, which can be removed from the tunic like the rest of the armor if preferred.

The outfit's obsidian facade and crimson engravings causes it to throw off those who might associate it with the Jedi, and nearly acts as a Sith disguise when combined with or without the helmet. Kyo has found the outfit to be useful for slipping through some areas, but admits that sometimes it could give off the wrong impression. A hooded cloak or poncho can be worn over the armor to conceal most of the outfit if necessary. Alternatively, some or all of the individual pieces of armor could be doffed over the course of several minutes so that only the long black tunic and enviro-suit remain, or the armor pieces could not be donned in the first place.

While there is a slight hint of the dark side that emanates from the armor and tunic, there is also a sheath of the light side wrapped around it, nearly concealing and quelling the darker bits of essence within it. The Jedi Shadow has been attempting to "purify" the materials that went into making this armor since he made it nearly 5 cycles ago, gradually diminishing the dark side's presence in his Knight Lurker armor to just a faint trace.

LEGALITY

Legal, though could probably get the wearer mistaken as a Sith in some parts of the galaxy. Could probably be considered illegal if/where the materials from Mustafar are illegal.

INTENT

Write-up for Kyosuke's personal Jedi Knight armor that can somewhat potentially act as a disguise.

RESTRICTIONS

Not restricted. The materials to put this suit together are somewhat available, mostly between the black market and Mustafar, but the processes and techniques used to combine them are not so easy and can be dangerous when considering the nature of the Xonolite involved in the crafting process. It is possible someone else could have created an identical replica of this unique armor, but Kyosuke has rarely been seen in this armor and the chances of there being copies of it are extremely low.

TYPE AND COVERAGE

Type: Heavy Armor (Medium without helmet, Light with helm plus 2 or more regions of armor removed)

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)

  • Head: removeable enclosed helm, durasteel edges, transparisteel visor from front to top
  • Torso: removeable Xonolite durasteel vest covers front and sides, from lower neck to top of hips
  • Back: removeable Xonolite durasteel vest covers back and sides, from lower neck to top of hips
  • Upper arms: removeable Xonolite durasteel covering shoulders
  • Lower arms: removeable Cortosis bracers, covers wrists and forearms to the elbows
  • Lower legs: removeable duraplate covering shins from top of ankles to bottom of knees

FUNCTIONS

Function 1: Filter (Optional; can be removed with helmet or replaced with a rebreather)
  • Filters are bulky attachments to a helmet, or function as part of a mask, that filter out environmental contaminants such as smoke or most toxins. They are susceptible to caustic substances and damage.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 1: Survival HUD (Default; removeable with helmet)
  • Reads atmosphere composition and detects toxins.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 3: Voice Scrambler (Default; removeable with helmet)
  • For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 4: Vision Modes (Default; removeable with helmet)
  • This Allows a Helmet HUD to cycle to low-light OR thermal vision modes.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 5: Environment Suit (Default; not removeable)
  • While it is not rated for extended exposure to extreme hazards, this body suit (when combined with an enclosed helmet) can protect the wearers body from the effects of environmental and weaponized toxins and similar hazards for up to 5 posting rounds.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Kyosuke's Shadow Slicer Outfit

Kyosuke's Shadow Slicer Outfit

A few light pieces of armor adorning a tantalizing set of black armorweave garbs that were handcrafted by Kyosuke Yamato. It has been pieced together bit by bit throughout his time in the Outer Rim, and is designed to be both lightweight and flexible for maneuverability and stealth operations. The pauldron strap, utility belt, boots, and other various fasteners are all made from black-dyed gundark leather acquired during some time he spent on their homeworld, Vanqor. There are multiple zipper pockets along the pants, with 2 average-sized pockets in the front, 2 in the back, and 1 large pocket along the outer side of each thigh that has just enough room to carry a standard datapad, macrobinoculars, or any other similarly sized device.

Cortosis vambraces help to protect both forearms and wrists while a large single durasteel pauldron guards the area around the left shoulder. The armorweave-covered vambrace on the left contains a small hidden compartment on the underside that stores a concealed computer spike, which can be extended for direct use or retracted to conceal. On the upper side of the right vambrace is a small built-in command interface and visual display like that of a basic datapad. This interface can connect directly to the integrated computer spike or it can be connected wirelessly to other compatible devices such as a commlink or dataphone. The display and set of buttons alongside it are pretty compact, and don't take up much room on the vambrace.

A small clasp at the back of the neck and shoulders allows a cloak to be pulled back and secured like a long ponytail or scarf so that there is slightly less drag on maneuverability when on the move. A small drawstring at the back of the black armorweave mask allows it to be tightened or loosened enough to fit snuggly over another apparatus such as a rebreather or personal translator mask, which ever so slightly dampens the noise of anything covered by it. Warning: covering rebreathers and filters will essentially interfere with their functions and keep them from working properly.

LEGALITY

Legal, though sneaking around with the mask and hood on could draw attention from authorities in some systems.

INTENT

To provide a write up for Kyo's personal armor, and to inspire anyone who wants their character to craft something similar.

RESTRICTIONS

As Kyo's personal armor and outfit that he crafted himself, no other known copies are in existence; however, similar outfits can be crafted by those who have experience synthweaving and basic crafting knowledge of the various components involved.

TYPE AND COVERAGE

Type: Light Armor

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)

  • Torso: lightweight durafiber top with removeable duraplast chest plate to protect chest, ribs, and upper abdomen
  • Upper arm: large duraplast pauldron on left shoulder that can slightly guard neck and upper arm
  • Lower arms: cortosis bracers and wrist guards to protect forearms and wrists
  • Head, neck, torso, back, lower arms, and legs: Armorweave underlay(see "Function 1")

FUNCTIONS

Function 1: Armorweave Accessory (Default; not removable)
  • Most often in the form of a heavy cape, skirt, or underlay beneath armor, armor weave provides some protection against the penetrating effects of shrapnel from explosives and other unpowered high velocity impacts, with only a small amount of bleed through damage (bruising or very minor wounds). It offers no protection against kinetic impact or energy, vibroweapons, or similar "powered" weapons. Having more than one accessory (example: Cape + underweave) provides no additional effect.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 2: Computer Spike (Optional; can be removed)
  • Computer spikes are used to forcibly decrypt or unlock computer terminals. Most civilian systems can be cracked in one posting round, while most military or hardened systems take two or more.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 3: Rebreather (Optional; can be removed or replaced by a filter)
  • Rebreathers, whether built into a helmet or a separate mask, allow for the wearer to breath underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath and recycling it. Generally this lasts for up to 5 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Voidstrider Tactical Flight Suit

Voidstrider Flight Helmet

The tinted transparisteel used for the flight helmet's visor mainly protects the wearer's identity, and slightly darkens everything they can see when peering out of it. A thin blast shield can be lowered from the helm to protect the visor and block light. The stock helm also contains an integrated commlink and display interface that can be linked with a Smartpad Dataphone or similar device. If need be, anyone with a more exotic head that needs their own helmet could attempt to modify their own to connect with the flight suit, which would be difficult to get everything working probably and safely.

Voidstrider Tactical Flight Suit

This barely armored skintight flight suit is from a very limited line of experimental suits that have begun to appear in the Nar Shaddaa black market. The sleek vac-seal bodyglove is made of a slightly stretchable elastex material meant to be a one-size fits most solution to average sized humanoids. A few strategically placed fasteners in key spots allows the structure of the suit's semi-eslastic material to be adjusted for various physiques. These adjustable spots are around the neck, shoulders, bust, wrists, hips, thighs, knees, and ankles. It is not meant to replace a proper EVA space suit, but it can be used to withstand the effects of the void long enough to make small repairs to a ship's exterior when stranded in space or on planets with toxic and hazardous environments. The bulky life-support box can also be dismounted and removed or reinstalled with a little modification, but this is not recommended and generally takes several minutes. A small piece of black shimmersilk can be unrolled from the top of the box's built-in harness and buckled to the bottom of it, covering the spot while the box is removed.

The Survival HUD of the paired flight helmet constantly scans the surrounding area to provide the wearer with important information about the atmosphere. When nearby toxins or dangerous oxygen levels are detected the helm internally emits a low-volume beep and flashes a red icon on the corresponding HUD gauge to warn them that the system is about to initiate its auto-seal and life-support functions. If for whatever reason the wearer doesn't want to engage those safety protocols then it can be disabled, but it is designed to activate automatically in the case that the individual might be unconscious. The HUD also displays a few other minor pieces of information, including a compass and rough estimation of overall vitals.

This suit has two very small sealable pockets below the hips, 1 embedded holster slot on both sides of the hips that can be used to attach pistol-sized holsters, and the box on the back can contain 1 small item on each side sealed inside of small compartments built into it. The life-support box has been ergonomically redesigned and moved to the back, soft yet sturdy silk has been added to pad against the wearer's back so that it is more like a pillow while seated rather than an obtrusive pain. Oxygen cables from the box are connected to the back of the helmet while it is donned. Lastly there are several small low-level lights fastened to the body that can be activated or deactivated by tapping any one of them twice in quick succession, this will also toggle the exterior lights of the flight helmet while it is connected to the suit.

LEGALITY

At a glance it would most likely appear to be as legal as a custom flight suit, but wearing a fully-enclosed helmet in public without a good reason may be frowned upon in the more civilized worlds. If the source of this item's creation and distribution are investigated well enough then one could eventually discover that they are apparently unknown. Hooded cloaks, robes, and ponchos can easily be worn over the suit if one wishes to conceal it.

INTENT

To provide a sleek alternative to standard flight suits that is intended more for spacewalks and repair jobs while stranded in space or on desolate planets. The creation and distribution of this armor also ties in with Kyosuke's personal background, though he had no part in developing this suit, and will be the basis for further story development with his family's shady careers.

RESTRICTIONS

The materials to put this suit together are widely available, but the processes and techniques used to combine them into a suit this advanced must be done by experts in this field of craft.

TYPE AND COVERAGE

Type: Light Armor

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)

  • Head: Enclosed duraplast flight helmet and blast shield with transparisteel visor that together protects front and back of head.

FUNCTIONS

Function 1: Survival HUD (Default; removeable with helmet)
  • Reads atmosphere composition and detects toxins.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 2: Rebreather (Optional; can be attached to helmet or used separately)
  • Rebreathers, whether built into a helmet or a separate mask, allow for the wearer to breath underwater or in space for brief amounts of time by scrubbing CO2 from their exhaled breath and recycling it. Generally this lasts for up to 5 posts, but heavy exertion can shorten that time.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 3: Vac-Seal (Default; not removeable)
  • It's no replacement for a dedicated spacesuit if you intend to EVA, but this under suit, when combined with a helmet, can protect the wearer from the immediate effects of exposure to a vacuum for up 5 posting rounds. You still need a way to breathe, however.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 4: Environment Suit (Default; not removeable)
  • While it is not rated for extended exposure to extreme hazards, this body suit (when combined with an enclosed helmet) can protect the wearers body from the effects of environmental and weaponized toxins and similar hazards for up to 5 posting rounds.

Function 5: Life Support Box (Optional; takes at least 1 post to remove and disables function until reinstalled)
  • Life support boxes are emergency gear designed to be worn in conjunction with other safety equipment, such as vac-suits and rebreathers. The device can be manually activated via a switch on the chest box, but most also automatically engage when exposed to vacuum. When activated, the device projects a small mag-shield "bubble" around the user that is just strong enough to contain a tiny amount of livable atmosphere. Life support boxes double the protection provided by vac seals and rebreathers- however, without other protective gear, the life support box itself provides only 3 rounds of protection from the elements. It also contains a high power distress beacon that the broadcasts the pilots precise coordinates to any ship within a parsec. The distress beacon can be manually deactivated, and can broadcast for much longer time than its wearer can survive.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Kyosuke's Null Hunter Armor

Kyosuke's Null Hunter Armor

Created and assembled by Kyosuke Yamato primarily for bounty hunting, or to be used along with one of his alternate identities. The adjoining shock gloves have had their delimiters burned out, and remain in their sockets. A computer spike is concealed in the right bracer. Leather boots protect the lower legs, and have a subtle shadowsheath concealed in the right side boot for a vibrodagger. There is a also utility belt with many extra compartments for additional inventory space, and a couple small discreet zipper pockets lined along the lower half of the torso's vest.

The fabric underneath the armor is made of Shadowsilk to keep the various pieces as silent as possible for sneaking up on unsuspecting quarries. A magnetic strip and clips also runs along the back of the blast-vest, allowing for a compatible weapon or scabbard to be stored there. The tinted transparisteel visor, which can slide back to the top of the helmet, contains an integrated comlink using a microphone at the base of the headset that can also pick up the wearer's voice and scramble it over a discreet external speaker.

LEGALITY

Legal across the galaxy, aside from the disabled delimiters in the shock gloves.

INTENT

Write-up for Kyo's personal bounty hunting armor.

RESTRICTIONS

As Kyo's personal armor and outfit that he crafted himself, no other known copies are in existence; however, similar outfits can be crafted by those who have experience with the basic crafting knowledge of the various components involved. The armor pieces are separately purchased, and could easily be bought from various vendors.

TYPE AND COVERAGE

Type: Medium Armor

Coverage: (Coverage regions for Light armor is 1-3 regions, Medium is 4-5, Heavy is 6-7)

  • Head: duraplast helmet and transparisteel visor covers top half of the head, with a durafiber underlay to cover the lower half
  • Torso: a blast-vest covers the chest, ribs, and upper abdomen
  • Back: the blast-vest also covers the upper and mid sections of the back
  • Upper arm: small lightweight duraplast shoulder-pads and elbow-pads
  • Lower arms: right forearm has a phrik bracer, left forearm has a small duraplast pad

FUNCTIONS

Function 1: Computer Spike (Optional; can be removed)
  • Computer spikes are used to forcibly decrypt or unlock computer terminals. Most civilian systems can be cracked in one posting round, while most military or hardened systems take two or more.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 2: Voice Scrambler (Default; removeable with helmet)
  • For the unusually paranoid, this helmet function can scramble a person's voice to unintelligible garbage, while allowing commlink conversations to continue as normal. Alternatively, it can be used to "digitize" a voice into a deep bass tone.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Function 3: Low-light Vision Mode (Default; removeable with helmet)
  • This Allows a Helmet HUD to cycle to low-light OR thermal vision modes.
  • Force User Compatible?: Yes

Maelstrom's Whisper

Maelstrom's Whisper

Created for Kyosuke's alternate Shadow identity. The bracers are made from a recycled electrostaff, with the Phrik reforged to create the armor for them.

WEAPONS

Kyosuke Yamato's Splitsaber

Kyosuke Yamato's Split Saber

AFFILIATION
Kyosuke Yamato/Jedi Order

MANUFACTURER
Kyosuke Yamato

SIZE
20cm long each handle
80cm long each blade
200cm long total combined

WEIGHT
1kg each

COMPOSITION
Songsteel casing
Gold chromium filigree
Dark blue kyber crystals
WEAPON TYPE
Melee

DAMAGE TYPE
Melee
Stun
Energy

AMMUNITION CAPACITY
N/A

FIRE SELECTOR
Safety
Training
Lethal

MAX RANGE
Reach

DESCRIPTION
Kyosuke opted to include the stun setting of his training saber into the creation of his split saber. Like most modern lightsabers this one has a bifurcating cyclical-ignition pulse built into it in order to keep it active underwater. The handle is made to connect and release at the center into two separate one-handed single-blade lightsabers, and is designed so that the pommels could be securely reconnected in a snap.

While connected the combined handles are together slightly shorter than most double-bladed lightsabers. The handle is also more thin than average saber handles and extremely smooth, so that they can easily be maneuvered in the hands and spun around without being too obtrusive.

CREATION
This lightweight lightsaber was made by Kyosuke Yamato to replace his old training saber when he was knighted. It took him several rotations to acquire the proper materials, and a little longer to fit them to his elegant design. In the end he had to ditch a couple other features he'd been thinking about since they would've extended the size of the handle more than he wanted.

The four small kyber crystals inside the handle were all from various worlds he and his former Master had visited during their time together. They gradually became bound to him over the cycles, and have been dark blue ever since the day he forged this lightsaber.

LEGALITY
Legal where lightsabers are legal.

INTENT
To give Kyosuke his own saber with its own write-up.

ARMAMENT

EQUIPMENT

DESCRIPTION
This is Kyosuke Yamato's personal starship, passed down from his father, Hanzo Yamato, who once used it for smuggling people and technology between their homeworld and Nar Shaddaa. This is an extensively renovated HWK-290 Light Freighter that has been modified and expanded many times over the past couple of decades. Hanzo added a light concussion missile installation to the bow of the ship for self-defense from pirates and creatures that hung out in asteroids he sometimes took shelter in, which Kyo decided to leave for the same reasons in addition to other emergencies befitting his own lifestyle. The latest modifications to the Shinigami were done at Kyo's request when he obtained it after his knighting, which was to convert one of the passenger's quarters to a brig, to add a meditation chamber above the engine room at the aft, added crafting workbenches to the cargo bay, replaced the laser turrets with non-lethal ion turrets, and most recently had a brand new smart ship AI installed with a young pleasant femme voice with the name, 'Shini'.

Due to the number of modifications the starship has obtained over the cycles it can end up drawing too heavily on the ship's power supply when too many of them are active at the same time, risking an overload somewhere in the system that could blow and disable random subsystems (especially when the medium ion cannons are fired repeatedly). This is often hinted at by various systems throughout the entire ship malfunctioning intermittently, such as the lights going in and out, the thrusters stalling, the weapons failing to fire, and more, giving the crew a brief opportunity to try shutting some of the extra systems down before something erupts and requires repair.

  • HANGAR BAY
    • The hanger door has been converted from a vertical angle to more of a horizontal one, where it tilts up to blend into the ceiling when closed and lowers down at an angle to act as a ramp when opened.
    • The rest of the bay is rather spacious, where it can be used to store 2 speeder bikes or 1 speeder along with a few other small containers of supplies.

  • ESCAPE PODS
    • At the very back of the hangar is a pair of escape pods with a small hallway between them. The pods are entered from their tops through the hallway doors, since they are laying horizontally in the ship's pod chambers. There is enough room for 4 average sized humanoids or droids in the escape pods. They are able to float, to withstand atmospheric re-entry, and have a set of parachutes that can be deployed manually or automatically. Each is only able to contain a very small of amount of fuel, so don't rely on having access to thrusters for very long.
    • A few rations are also stashed inside each, along with a transponder homing beacon that is linked to the Shinigami or that can be used to emit an emergency distress signal instead that should be able to reach a few systems out. There is also a small limited medpack and 4 rebreathers in each of the pods in the event that passengers are in need of them.
    • Lastly, it is possible that the pods could be recovered in the ship's hangar bay, but the bay would need to be emptied and it would be an extremely tight fit.

  • CARGO BAY
    • On the other side of the escape pod hall is the cargo bay, where most of the extra supplies, tools, and rations are kept bundled in the port side corner with black netting that is meant to keep them from moving around during flight. Across from that is the set of stairs leading to the upper deck's lounge, and just aft of that is the ship's lift.
    • The lift is designed to stop if it feels something blocking it during ascension or descension as a safety feature, and can be reengaged once the obstruction is cleared.
    • To the aft of the cargo bay is a slightly longer hallway that is flanked by an engineering workbench and a synthweaving station, which can be used to craft, modify, or repair equipment that is associated with them using the set of nearby supplies and tools.

  • WINGS
    • Like the HWK-290, the Shinigami's wings are capable of moving independently from each other, which allows the starship to maneuver with the same decent ability as its predecessor. Due to its extended winglength for stability the segmented sections of the wings are able to retract enough to bring the thrusters closer to the hull, but this significantly reduces the ship's maneuverability and is only meant for tight landing spaces.
    • In addition to this, the molybdenum-alloy strut that connects the wings to the hull are also designed to allow the gimballing system enough space and leverage to fold the wings up vertically so that they become parallel to the dorsal fin engines. While it is still possible to engage the propulsion systems during this it is just for docking, landing, or taking off due to its minimal maneuverability. It should be noted that it is extremely dangerous for someone to be scrunched up inside the small crawl space inside the wings while the engines are active, and could be fatal when the individual segments of the wing assembly between the thruster engines are retracted into the engine assemblies.

  • BRIDGE
    • Security console watches most of the ship, can control all doors, and can override most other ship-integrated consoles or systems that are connected to it.
    • Pilot and co-pilot stations have both a screen and a pair of holo-goggles that connects to a tiny fish-eye camera at the very front center of the ship's nose.

  • LOUNGE
    • In the center of the upper deck is a wide open area with a staircase on the starboard side that leads down to the cargo bay in the lower deck.
    • A few meters across from that and toward the aft is a the lift, which is used to transfer supplies or passengers between decks when the stairs just won't do.
    • On the port side of the lounge is a crescent couch with a holoprojector at the center of it, which can be used for entertainment, planning, or communications.
    • Across from the couch and toward the aft is a very limited kitchen area. It's really just the equivalent of a refrigerator, microwave, sink, and magnetically sealed cupboards that were all built to stay secure during intense flight maneuvers. The water and power for the appliances runs under the hall and rooms to the engineering bay.

  • QUARTERS
    • The pilot and co-pilot both have designated single-bed cabins that about half the size of the passenger quarters.
    • The last room toward aft on the starboard side is essentially a walk-in closest. It is full of Kyosuke's outfits, weapons, and various garments made from a variety of different fabrics and synthweaving. It could all be moved to the storage to make room for passengers - if such a drastic measure was necessary.

  • BRIG
    • Just below the port side co-pilot's room is the brig, which is just large enough to fit 2 beds and a small refresher between them.
    • The energy door that blocks the entrance can be controlled from the keypad on the hallway wall next to it, or from the security console on the bridge.

  • MEDITATION CHAMBER
    • At the aft of the upper deck, beyond the hall of rooms and the brig, is a dim-lit meditation chamber, complete with all the standard functions you would expect from a normal meditation chamber.

  • WINDOWS
    • Aside from the windows in the passenger quarters, a long line of transparisteel window segments extend along the length of the starship's upper and lower decks, each one set at average head-height. The upper deck window begins at the back of the craft with the engine room, and wrap around to the missile bay at the front.

  • EMERGENCY SEALS
    • Several bulkheads and blast shields are in place between halls, sections, and on each side of all windows to protect the ship and its crew during battle and when exposure to the vacuum depressurizes any compartment.

LEGALITY
Legal, though its modifications and sleek hull could draw the attention of authorities. The concussion missiles and brig both have permits through the bounty hunting guild.

INTENT
To give Kyosuke a personal ship that he can take others around on for adventures and hunts. Mainly to act as a home and base for Kyo to operate as a Jedi or hunter. Made the ship slightly larger based on a slightly different conversion of the HWK-290 Light Freighter than the one we have on-site and using its internal schematics (pic included), which seems to fit the Jedi Courier role conversion more.

ADVANCED TECH
No, just approved modifications added and the necessary adjustments made to the ship for them.

One of Kyosuke's best childhood friends on Nar Shaddaa. Their families always seemed close to them growing up. The two were avid rivals in their youth, pushing each other to go further in everything they did.

In Kyosuke's intro thread he badly scars his childhood friend without the two recognizing each other the entire fight. He then heals the man's critically wounded wrist and hand out of guilt and compassion, effectively saving the man's limb.

Kyosuke doesn't currently realize that he has recently disfigured his childhood friend and left him with a scar that stretches from his right hand, up his arm, across half of the right side of his chest, and up the right side of his neck. The lower back portion of the jaw is also connected to the extensive scar.

PERSONALITY

KWEbqLF.jpg

Liao tends to be a charmer, trying to prevent fights before they break out. His inquisitive nature causes him to seek answers and solutions, though he usually tries to hide this and tends to take a backseat to the rest of his family's agenda. He is loyal to the Zhou family, but doubts their intentions. Not in a position to do much about the situation, he usually just does what the Elders say, and tries not to provoke them in any way.

RANK: Systems Specialist
FORCE: Unaware

HEIGHT: 5'4"
WEIGHT: 106 Lbs
HAIR COLOUR: Black/Brown
EYE COLOUR: Dark Blue
GENDER: Female

One of the girls from another family that has ties to the Yamato family. She is unaware that she is sensitive to the Force, and has a little less martial training than some of the other members in her family. She is a computer expert and pretty decent when it comes to piloting, astrogation and most starship components. She also can do some decent synthweaving and cooking, but never took as much of an interest in that as she did in starship systems. She also secretly plays synth-piano, sings, and loves to skimboard.

Rin works at the Yamato family workshop, YamatoCraft. She believes her mom works with Kyosuke's mother making fancy suits for shady people or something like that. She isn't really sure, she hasn't been able to figure out what the Zhou family does really. She has lived under the protection of the Zhou and Yamato families since she was a child, and doesn't really get out to see the rest of the Smuggler's Moon much, often times because the adults don't want to risk losing her to the underworld. She hasn't seen her brother, Liao Zhou, much since he joined the Yamikuza.

PERSONALITY

iIvYXve.jpg

Rin is typically an upbeat and cheerful girl, still pretty innocent and sheltered despite having spent her whole life on Nar Shaddaa. She is very intelligent, well educated, and has picked up a number of skills from her time working at YamatoCraft as a computer and systems specialist on starships. She can be a bit vibrant, enthusiastic, and tends to make exaggerated expressions to convey her moods. She's also a little spoiled, and tends to let her naivety show when challenged with subjects she knows little about. She's also a huge fan of Blackwell Technologies.

AFFILIATION: Yamikuza
RANK: Fighting Pit Slave
FORCE: Trained

HEIGHT: 5'6"
WEIGHT: 113 Lbs
HAIR COLOUR: White
EYE COLOUR: Pink
GENDER: Female

Saphyra had an Echani mother and a human father in the Yamikuza. She was born with the rare Pyrokinesis ability, and was discovered to be Force sensitive by a wandering Sith when she was still quite young. As a child she was taught the ways of the Echani martial arts by her mother and the Zhou family styles before being taken away by the Sith. She underwent several cycles of training as a Sith Apprentice after she was kidnapped by them at a young age, where she learned how to use some basic Force abilities at a decent level.

She is excellent at martial combat, with great agility and acrobatics. Her education has been skewed, but she understands the basics. She is also a decent enough pilot, but she's pretty rusty and doesn't have any other real proficiencies since the last few cycles of her life have been fighting for survival in the pits of Nar Shaddaa.

PERSONALITY

9YLNAnn.jpg

Most of her life has been in servitude to rather unlikable individuals. The enthusiasm and wanderlust she used to have as a child has been nearly snuffed out by the way she has been treated since her time with the Sith and as a slave to the Yamikuza.

When a collar is around her neck, whether shock or not, she becomes very submissive and docile, nearly losing all personality and becoming a withdrawn shell that tends not to speak or take an interest in anything. When the collar comes off she reverts to her primal instincts and ferociously fights anyone around her with the full fury of her unbottled emotions. It is unsure whether or not she could recover from this indoctrinated conditioning, but there is a chance if the right person were to come along and help her heal.

A remnant of a scattered organization that tried to keep the Yamikuza in check. The Yami group he was assigned to orchestrated communications and covert operations between the homeworld and Nar Shaddaa, but have since lost connection with their leaders and have fallen into disarray. His Echani mother and human father raised him with a mix of their unique martial arts styles, which he devoted himself to after the disappearance of his sister, Saphyra Qiao.

Like the other members of the elite Yami, Shoto was recruited after he emerged victorious from the Yamikuza families' quarterly private tournament (junior division) at the age of 13. Though he was trained in the ways of the Force by others in the group who had been taught by Jedi in the past, he was only able to learn a limited amount due to the declining condition of the Yami and their internal conflicts with the Yamikuza.

PERSONALITY

Quiet and elusive, cold and distant. Very inquisitive, but doesn't usually act on his curiosity unless it's for a good reason. Generally hides his identity and lurks as a nobody, much like the rest of the Yami. Shoto seems to only care about saving his sister, but has only been able to locate her thus far. He has been cautiously searching from the shadows for the right person who can help save her.

Yue'sekai

(Yue'sekaian for Moon World)

Yue'sekai, homeworld of the Yamikuza clans and the Yue'sukari, or more commonly known as the Moonlit in Galactic Basic. The countless asteroids and moons trapped in the extensive rings around it are remnants from the other planets in the system, which have all been devoured by this world or destroyed by the overactive star at the system's core. The Yami system, named after a small planet devoured by Yue'sekai, is surrounded by vast nebulae of Clouzon-36 and stellar nurseries, making the space around the system extremely dangerous for travelers due to the unstable protostars and massive purrgils that roam in huge swarms.

RINGS
The large asteroid ring around the planet has developed dozens of small moons, some of which have their own unique biodomes. An early settlement migrated to one of the moons in their own exodus from the planet. After several decades of covertly gathering technology from the rest of the galaxy the Yue'sukari have finally begun to employ limited scale shield generators around some of their lunar bases in order to protect them from other celestial debris and wild space-faring species like mynocks and relatively small purrgils. Another great threat to the moon-dwelling humans was the ever-lurking exogorths that dwelled within many of the moons and asteroids of the planet's rings.

A few of the moons and asteroids in the rings around the planet, explored and unexplored, contain enough of an atmosphere to allow various creatures to live on or in them. Some of these natural satellites have also crashed to the surface of the planet over thousands of years, and as a result the creatures contained within them have been adapting to the planet ever since. It is rather difficult to safely travel between the rings and the planet's surface, especially without the proper navigation skills and tools. Between the Force-wielding fauna and the unstable elements it can be difficult to make it to the planet's surface in one piece.

Moondust, surface particles of the asteroids and moons that get caught in the gravity between Azura and Yue'sekai, tend to float around like shimmering glitter as they are caught in the reflection of the star's light from the planet, rings, and even the artificial lighting used in the lunar bases. This often gives off a captivating and ethereal appearance, like airborne bits of a shattered crystal.

STAR
The system's blue star is undergoing constant coronal mass ejections that disrupt starship systems in the nearby region. Ships in orbit around the planet that are hit by the intense solar flares usually experience malfunctions to a number of ship's components, which can often result in the ship losing power and falling into the planet's expansive gravity well. The Yue'sukari have several bases throughout the planet's seven rings that are meant to shelter their ships from these bursts, but they have still lost a large number of ships that get caught in the storms during traveling and as such have a much smaller fleet than what they should have. Ships close to the ring during a CME might be able to find shelter in asteroids and moon tunnels created by exogorths, just be careful that you don't accidently end up in one of the oversized space slugs.

The seven rings, being closest to the star, are usually hit the hardest by its CMEs, and sometimes the blasts are so significant that ships, asteroids, and even small moons are blown apart in the impact. The planet's powerful magnetic field between it and the innermost ring dampens most of the outbursts from affecting it.

The star's activity has affected the planet and rings so immensely for such a length of time that it has affected the local wildlife. The behavior exhibited by some of the native flora and Force-sensitive fauna on the planet is similar to how they react when they sense incoming storms and earthquakes. They will often take seek shelter minutes before a solar flare for cover.

There are various types of climates and terrains on Yue'sekai's surface and even on some of its moons (specifically the ones that are remnants from planets).

Areas of Interest:

  • Tengoni Shrines: Isolated islands with massive mountain ranges where the Tengoni reside. These places are completely balanced in the Force nexus energies they are formed around.

  • Vocturnal Temple: A light side temple created by Exuvius Vocturnal and his descendants. Said to contain his Force ghost, along with several relics that he had collected from the galaxy before being stranded on Yue'sekai.

  • Delura's Temple: A dark side temple created by Delura and some of her descendants. Said to contain her spirit, along with several artifacts that she had collected from the galaxy before being stranded on Yue'sekai.

  • The 13 Moons: Currently being settled by the Yue'sukari as they expand across the seven rings. Most of these small lunar settlements are covered in localized deflector shields to protect them from the natural hazards of the system.

RAKATAN EXPANSION
Near the end of the Infinite Empire a group of Rakatan set out from the galaxy to expand into one of its dwarf satellite galaxies. They brought their technology and slaves with them, but lost most of their expansion fleet in the hostile environment and purrgils that awaited them. Forced to make an emergency landing on a nearby planet, the Rakatans found themselves on the multi-ringed world of Yue'sekai. By the time they arrived, the bio-diversity had formed into various forms that would later be twisted and evolved at an accelerated rate due to the eventually abandoned technology. Many cycles after the fall of the Infinite Empire, the remnants and ruins of the failed Rakatan colonization effort were covered by several layers of the planet's continuously developing crust and mantle.

The slave force that the Rakata brought with them slowly managed to adapt to life on the planet, but became disconnected from the dormant technology of their ex-masters and developed a new way of life. Their culture, traditions, and religion became intertwined with those of the natives. Stories of the planet's gargantuan apex predators exaggerated the power of the beasts, eventually revering the creatures as gods in their eyes.

Some of the Rakatan's abandoned technology continued to function from under the planet's surface. Most of the energies that were meant for the environment actually ended up attracting some of the apex predators, eventually twisting the species into larger entities that could connect with the elemental forces of the planets. Other transformations that occurred led to the Demi, a middle ground between the ancient apex predators and the native humanoids. Eventually these machines were found by the newly formed Yue'sukari, and summarily shut down. The location and existence of these ruinous subterranean machines were erased from record to protect the people of the planet and the moons.

THE VISITORS

A pair of Force-sensitives found this planet long ago. One championed the light side while the other championed the dark. Eventually they found balance, and they started what would become the one true kingdom of Yue'sekai. Descendants of the royal bloodline were allowed to come and go as they pleased, and were encouraged to learn what they could from the temples of their forbearers when not assigned to other duties across the seven rings.

C U L T U R E

jJakzUc.jpg

Despite the font of Force that resides on the planet, only a few humans who are born on Yue'sekai are actually sensitive to it. Those who are born with the connection don't recognize it as the Force, instead referring to it as Chi or Ki, and have harnessed it to become great warriors of legend. Furthermore, humans born on the planet tend to exhibit slightly longer lifespans than normal, and tend not to reach actual maturity until roughly around their mid-twenties.

The Yue'sukari (Moonlit)
Those who live among the moons and satellites of the planet. An elite sect of them, run directly by the royal family, have even used a small handful of the other distant astronomical objects in the system as tiny experimental bases, small industrial shipyards with dismal production rates, and emergency facilities in the event that something catastrophic happens to the rings or the planet. Most of the native-born humans that migrated to the rings are aware of the Force, but very few of them are born sensitive to it. The descendants of the Yue'sukari royal family tend to have some level of Force-sensitivity, and often embark on pilgrimages to visit the temples of their ancestors to learn how to wield it to a small degree. Some of the commoners follow the religions of the natives, as was their tradition since most of the lower caste came from the planet.

They left the planet behind long ago when a natural disaster (or civil war, or Kami attack) threatened to wipe them all out. Originally they were a peaceful kingdom that had been united since the early days.

Only the 12 eldest descendants of the royal family are allowed to gain lordship over the other natural satellites that make up the collective sections of the inner to outer ring sets.

Curious about the rest of the galaxy that they learned about from the Visitors, the Vacuum Operatives Inquisition Division (VOID) invested heavily in space exploration using the technology they learned about from the planet's visitors. They followed the waypoints left behind by the visitors and eventually made their way to Nar Shaddaa, where they gradually adapted their culture to fit in as unnoticed as possible.

The Chiqiú {chur - shew}
The Chiqiú dynasty remains independent from the moon-faring kingdom that orbits above, even though they are completely outmatched technologically. Their overall culture and the Yue'sekaian language is an amalgamation of smaller cultures that have been absorbed into the unified planetside population. The mix of traditions and legacies often causes issues with the leaders of the various clans, but the threat of war from the Yue'sukari keeps the clans in check as they fear mutually assured destruction should the moonfolk descend upon them with their advanced weapons and technology. The Elders of these clans have been covertly planting operatives into the Yue'sukari, subtly extending their influence through Yamikuza smugglers between Chiqiú and Nar Shaddaa in an attempt to acquire the means to fight back against the lunar guardians that dominate them and slowly seek to expand their reach into the stars above.

The Shou-jin (Beastfolk)
Rapid evolution from the abandoned Rakatan technology created various deviations in the descendants of the planet's native Force-sensitive species. They are often kept as pets by the Chiqiú, and though the Yue'sukari tend to frown upon this, they typically don't interfere unless it could lead to civil war. While some of them are able to speak the native language and Galactic Basic, most of them stick to grunts and growls -- preferring heartfelt contact, facial gestures, and body language instead of mimicking the human speech patterns. This primitive form of language is known by the humans as Rawrspeak.

Far away from the Chiqiúan kingdom are outlying tribes of varying mammaloid subspecies, all derived from deviations of the planet's native wildlife. They avoid the humans, allying themselves with the planet's Kami and Demi for protection. Some of them are pets that have escaped or been set free, usually bringing the cultures, fashion, and primitive technology with them. They are studious learners when they're not being forcibly trained, as most of their Chiqiúan masters have tried to do. As such they have managed over the cycles to recreate some of the crafting techniques of the locals to create things like their own clothing plus weapons and tools for hunting or survival. Some have even been found with blaster rifles, vibroblades, and plasma bows.

The Shou-jin are born with features resembling the beasts they evolved from. This can be fluffy ears and tails, fangs and claws, or even horns like those of the planet's dire beasts. Sometimes the Demi will reproduce with Shou-jin, creating even more diversity in the species. It should be noted that a Shou-jin born with a Demi parent will still only be as powerful as an average humanoid, and typically does not retain their powers or features. The more vicious Demi also don't stick around to raise or protect their children, often times seeing them as prey and sources of sustenance instead.

They develop a deep connection to the Force at their birth, often finding it uncomfortable or unsettling to travel away from the planet, but not impossible. The Yue'sukari prefer to leave them in peace to watch them develop somewhat on their own, but it is possible that some could have been smuggled off-world and secreted away to the larger galaxy.

The Tengoni
This sentient race is primarily formed of Force-sensitive humanoids that live in the colossal mountain ridges on several of the planet's isolated islands. Those that aren't sensitive don't last very long, due to the harsh conditions and roaming fauna on the islands along the equator where they are born. In order to defend themselves from the local wildlife they imbue the Force into their handcrafted blades, which are made from local ores, creature parts, and forged in the flames of the volcanic chambers that rest far beneath the surface of their homes.

They utilize Force powers that are only aligned with neutral, believing powers that are used from either side will cause them to become unbalanced at war with each other.

They do not speak, but do understand Galactic Basic and the native languages of the locals -- including the Yue'sukari. They prefer to use Telepathy to communicate.

The Yue'sukari believe the Tengoni are remnant offshoots of the Rakatan that were changed in the same biological shift that caused other native species to evolve rapidly, and that they could have mixed with the local slave population at some point. Neither of these facts have ever been proven, as the royal family tends to shut down all theories that relate to the Infinite Empire and the Rakatans.

K A M I

Ancient apex predators twisted by the Rakatan technology that propelled evolution on the planet. The natives and Tengoni usually refer to these as gods in their religions, though they are just malformed creatures that have been developing on the planet for millions of cycles since the mixing of the system's planets. They are Force-sensitive, and there is at least one type per element. Their Force-related abilities are typically limited to their element, though they have been known to use some of the basic and common powers in certain situations. They don't communicate through speech, instead using Telepathy to those who they find worthy to even begin a dialog with. Their devotion to the planet drives them to fight against any who would seek to harm it, and they have even taken down small Yue'sukari starships back before the moondwellers learned to leave them in peace.

Half-breeds spawned by the ancient apex predators. They usually resemble the Kami that they genetically deviated from during the planet's accelerated evolutionary period. They are somewhat sentient, but tend to vary vastly from common humanoid species and cultures. Like the Kami, they communicate through Telepathy instead of speech, though they are capable of it. Most are born Force-sensitive, those that aren't sensitive never last long enough to procreate.

- Songsteel: Uncommon planetside, Rare among the rings

- Kyber crystals: Extremely rare both planetside and in the rings. These are typically only found in areas that are guarded by nests of Force-sensitive creatures. It is rumored that the cave network beneath some of the Tengoni shrines also contain Kyber crystal deposits.

- Coaxium: Extremely rare among the rings, very limited amounts can be found in the craters of asteroids that have collided with the planet, or possibly deeper inside the planet where celestial bombardment and planetary collisions might've left deposits, but these have not yet been discovered and wouldn't contain much.

This is currently a major work-in-progress. Much of the content here is still being added and tweaked to fit the various concepts together. This fancy pic is the planet being ripped apart and reformed in the billions of years that went into creating Yue'sekai.

Really just messing around with the layout for now, will be adding some pics for species and stuff, and straightening out the inconsistencies because like, lots to decide on.

His computer and mechanics skills are best when applied to starships or similar tech. He has not been trained in the Force, but is slightly aware of the fact that he is somewhat sensitive to it. He's spent plenty of time climbing around the hulls of ships for repairs and other similar reasons, including both in gravity and non-gravity. He is somewhat fluent in a broad variety of languages, and keeps a hand-held protocol droid on hand for situations when translation is necessary. The Hollow

Tucked away spinward of the Outer Rim, several parsecs beyond Teth and at the edge of the Baxel sector, is this large astronomical object. A wide tunnel exists in the back of it, which connects to a series of other smaller tunnels and a couple large caverns that each have room for several light freighter craft to fly through and land within. Anything the size of a cruiser or larger would have a tight squeeze and would probably scrape the hull the entire way if it could even fit.

There is just enough mass, density, and a tiny proto-planet core, that it produces a slight amount of gravity - enough so that a being can float around with big hops, and also survive on its surface without a vac-suit -- though a rebreather is still necessary for most to breathe. Some of the nearby asteroids tend to get caught in the object's little gravity well, occasionally orbiting it or falling into its surface.

One would be able to feel a more intense degree of temperature the further they go on these orbiting asteroids away from the Hollow. Individuals closer to the edge of the object's gravity well in the direction of the system's star will feel a near unbearable amount of heat, while being on the opposite side near the void of space will leave one feeling frigid and frozen if they stay out there too long. While standing on the surface of the object without any temperature resistant gear on, one would be able to feel the vast contrast of temperatures on both sides of them at the same time.

The tunnels and chambers were formed by a young exogorth before it eventually outgrew the celestial object and moved to a much larger one that passed through the system a few hundred cycles or so ago. The exact time is not actually known. The tunnels and caverns it left behind are lined with remnants of the space slug's ancient discarded habitat, all of which are covered in pitch-black darkness. It is unknown what all lurks in the discarded hollows of the exogorth's abandoned refuge, but it would have been collecting various small ships and other vacuumbreathers for many cycles.

The system's unnamed and very dim orange dwarf star looms in the distance, gradually pulling the Hollow and the other debris in the planetless system around it in a wide orbit. The system and star are unofficially discovered, and has thus far only been used by smugglers, pirates, and other spacers looking to hide from the rest of the galaxy.

The asteroid belt, and interference from the planet's structure makes it difficult to get any kind of clear signal in and out of the area -- giving those within it a sense of being cut off and isolated from the rest of the galaxy until they reemerge from the asteroid belt. The faintest bit of signal would be able to get through, if one were standing on the tip of the asteroid just above the concentration of asteroids that run along the middle of the Hollow.

_____Intent

To expand on the personal lore behind Kyosuke Yamato's story, whose father used this is a stepping stone for smuggling, and to add a neutral rest stop for affiliated characters or others who just want a place to gather and explore. Credit to @The Good Doctor for the layout.

Not much is known about Null, aside from his name. He doesn't know when or where he was born, or who his family is. Searching records of his name doesn't turn up any of this information either. The only thing connected to him is a bounty hunting license, a few special weapons permits, and an Avian airspeeder.

Null has involuntarily been disconnected from his past, and is no longer aware of who he was before recovering from some traumatizing experience that he doesn't seem to remember. Despite losing his memories, the young man has still retained his extremely athletic reflexes and a few other muscle memory skills.

He now wanders the galaxy alone with a broken heart, not knowing why it feels so incomplete and empty. He's a nobody, with no past, and no comrades.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

There doesn't seem to be much left of Null's personality. Whoever he once was is no more. Now he's just an empty shell that roams the galaxy like a ghost. His words are few and far between, his smile is a blank stare. Despite this he still has a connection to the Light, and hopes that one day it will guide him back home to his family and friends -- if he even has any left.

M O T I V E S

There also doesn't seem to be any ambition left in the one known as Null. His desire to help others has taken a fall, and now he mostly just follows the whim of his Savior, Celeste Stythani. Now he simply does what he must to make enough credits in order to keep himself going.

Though he does not know it, Null has had extensive training in both combat and Force powers from an early age in his life. There is no longer any evidence trail connecting him to those that trained and raised him when he was a youth. Unless he can find a way to regain his lost identity or memories.

Decent with blasters, though he prefers to get in close with his lightsaber or a vibroblade.

He's a prodigious pilot, and knows enough about average starship and speeder design to do basic repairs on most ships or speeders. He's not sure where he learned his mechanic skills, but they seem to have stayed mostly in tact through his transformation.

Family/Drug

Origin
Nar'Shaddaa

Black Market

Lore
Site

A small gelatin cube with a jet-black core that is consumed to suppress memories. Depending on how often the Void is consumed there are varying levels of nullification.

C R E A T I O N

Glitterstim synthesized with Ryll makes up most of the powdery core within the drug. The translucent gelatinous shell contains a faint hue of blue, and is mostly made from boiled Mairan tentacles. It is extremely rare and very expensive, often times requiring specific Underworld connections to even obtain any.

The Void was created mainly for the slave trade, as it makes it much easier to subdue and retrain them without the need to beat and break them. Some people even use it for themselves, whether it be aiming to get rid of unwanted memories and trauma or other private uses. It is also used by the same organization that made it to better control and manipulate their own operatives. However, this drug is extremely addictive, and if consumed without a reasonable level of moderation can even lead to death.

E F F E C T S

The Void targets the brain's neurons and most of their connecting pathways in the Hippocampus, then effectively renders them dormant. It is not a complete deletion of the memories, as there have been rare occurrences when subjects have been known to overcome the effects and reawaken those neurons and pathways for brief moments. These events usually only occur during moments of great peril when the intense neural activity reaches a point where the affected areas are stimulated enough to reactivate. This information is kept confidential within the Underworld organization that produces it, while keywords such as "delete", "erase", and "nullify" are used to mislead the drug's effects so as to keep the imperfect product's flaw a secret.

The pleasurable and telepathic boosting effects of the Glitterstim traces in the Void can often times be experienced shortly after the drug is ingested, making the consumer more susceptible to the telepathic influence of others for a brief period of time. Each consumption usually causes at least one memory in the consumer's mind to go dormant, with daily consumption leading to a nearly complete erasure of memories after only a couple weeks. Reflecting on specific memories after taking the drug will cause those memories to be targeted by the Void's nullifying effects as it seeks out the neural activity in those areas, otherwise they are selected at random.

I N T E N T

A write-up for the drug that nullified Kyosuke Yamato. The little-known Underworld organization behind it is also directly linked to his family, and this drug was one of the projects his mother managed for them. This is a piece of a greater set of lore meant to expand on the Yamato family and the mysterious organization they are part of.

Inspired by and based on Glitteryll, with enough changes to hopefully make Void a unique variant and less of a copy.

Lucifrey Sol was born to a pair of parents that left their noble families behind to raise their half-breed daughter in peace. The family name was changed to distance themselves from both of their families, and the parents did their best to support the three of them with as comfortable of a lifestyle as they could with their simple careers. They were content, and even still able to spoil Luci a little bit from time to time. But that all changed when Luci accidentally revealed her Force Sensitivity in front of a young man they had not realized was a Jedi. After spending a few nights with the cautious family, the raven-haired Knight eventually convinced them to let him introduce her to the Order, and she joined shortly thereafter.

Most of her time in the Order was spent training on Tython until the New Republic made their move to ban the Jedi from their territory. After that she laid low and bounced between various temples with her Master. Recently he has been reassigned to another task, and she has been left behind to help with various relief efforts and missions across the Galaxy while she waits for him to return.

Luci has a very upbeat and playful attitude most times. She can get a bit devious, though it is usually with the best of intentions. Although her time with the Order has been causing her to mellow out more and more as each cycle passes, she does still allow hints of her youthful nature to poke through her otherwise calm demeanor when she's having fun.

M O T I V E S

When Lucifrey was much younger she was raised as a spoiled girl, which caused her to be motivated by fame and fortune. She wanted to be a professional singer and actress, but those dreams all slowed to a crawl once she joined the Order. Deep down she still hopes that one day she might be able to pursue such a career while she still has her youth.

Favors Cryokinesis, Illusion, and Flash.
Decent with lightsabers, but prefers Force Powers.

Luci leans heavily toward the Light, and is capable of using several other Powers aligned with it, though she is far from mastering them. Her ability with Telepathy is decent, but she can't sustain conversations through it for very long. She is usually defensive and supportive, but will go on the offense if she feels a need to do so.

S K I L L S

Capable of using blasters, but no expert.

She's pretty good with first aid, but she can't really do surgery or anything too complicated. She is excellent with computers, and has even been studying AI quite extensively ever since Blackwell Technologies unveiled their S3 Smart Ship AI Suite. She hopes to one day be able to create her own AI, though she knows she has a long way to go before she can accomplish that.

Ravus was born to the Sephyre royal family of Alvaeria, one of Skynara's kingdoms that broke off from the Enwynn royal family long ago when one of the princesses married a Sephi prince. Due to the culture's political prejudices his parents were forced to hide his true identity from just about everyone else. Even his mother was forced to hide away, remaining a secret while a false queen was crowned in her stead for the political sake of the kingdom. Only a select few were allowed to know of the half-Prince, and they would go on to look over and train him while he grew up in the shadows of his family's obsidian fortress. It was discovered pretty early on that the lad had an affinity with the Force, though the loyal subordinates he'd been given lacked the ability to guide him in its ways. His father was trained by a Sith, and did what he could to teach his son the ways of the Force, but due to his responsibilities and the need to keep the boy's identity secret Ravus had to develop it mostly on his own for a time. It wasn't until he was a teen that the guidance he needed would finally arrive.

A grey-skinned Sith Besalisk's starship crash landed on Skynara between the Alvaerian kingdom's territory and the Ebania's kindgom on the other side of the small planetoid. The stranded Champion carved his way out of the wildlands in the neutral zone between the two kingdoms with his pair of crimson splitsabers, and eventually discovered the Alvaerians. Impressed by the Sith's abilities, and eager to have his son's powers with the Force properly tempered, the king struck a deal with the wayward Besalisk. He'd be supplied whatever he needed to live comfortably yet obscurely while the people developed the parts necessary to repair his ship. In turn he was asked to train Ravus. Suspicious of the lad's identity, the Champion saw an opportunity to bring the planet into the grasp of the Empire through him, and hid his true agenda while he took Ravus as his Apprentice.

After a few cycles spent training on Skynara, the half-Prince, the Besalisk, and the loyal group of royal guards would all eventually disembark on the repaired starship that had brought the Champion to Skynara. Together they would continue to protect, raise, and train the adolescent Apprentice while they scoured the Galaxy for relics, forgotten temples, and anything else that caught their power-hungry attention. After several more cycles spent learning the ways of Sith Magick and improving his proficiency with the Dark Side, Ravus was eventually able to become a Champion. The group continued their nomadic spacer lifestyle until the pair of Sith found themselves ready to return to Skynara once more to reunite Ravus with his rightful heritage.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Reserved and patient. Steadfast and vigilant. Courageous and protective. Ravus tends to keep control of his emotions, preferring to stick to cold and calculated strategies when dealing with most situations. He tends to follow orders without question, but prefers to be in control and tends to be guided by his own sense of morality.

M O T I V E S

Having recently restored himself as the prince of Alvaeria, Ravus now seeks to accomplish what his ancestors began back when their kingdom was established. To pacify the monstrous infestation lurking throughout Skynara. He doesn't have much of a desire to take the throne at the moment, but he has recently been getting pushed in that direction more and more by his ex-master.

L I K E S

Finding new relics and temples. Soaking in hot springs.

D I S L I K E S

Favors and excels In Pyrokinesis, Teleport and Shroud of Darkness.

Follows the belief that the dark side is the natural state of the Force, which is to be bent and dominated to one's sheer will. He had some guidance when he was younger, and later had extensive training when the Sith Besalisk, Krug, became his master. He is familiar with a wide variety of neutral powers, mostly defensive and physically enhancing powers, and is adept with a handful of other dark side abilities.

S K I L L S

Great at unarmed fighting, swordplay, and lightsaber combat. Capable of using bows, blasters, and blastswords proficiently.

Was provided a moderate education while he was raised in Sephyre Fortress, and had prestigious martial training from his time being raised in the Shadowguard. These skills were further improved after he became Krug's apprentice.

L A N G U A G E S

Fluent in Galactic Basic and his native languages.

Knows a handful of other common and uncommon languages, and can speak most of them decently enough to carry on simple conversations.

King Sephyre > (Sephi Father)
King of Alvaeria. A man who has been around for a couple centuries. He led the Sephyre family into building and defending Sephyre fortress at the bottom of Alvaeria. When Ravus's Firrerreo mother crash landed on Skynara he was there to save her from the clutches of the untamed wilds and brought her back to his fortress, where the two eventually fell in love.

Queen Sephyre > (Faux Sephi Mother)
Extra notes and info.

Real Mom > (Firrerreo Mother)

Her identity is kept a secret for her protection and the political image of the Sephyre family. She escaped Firrerreo and crash landed on Skynara where she struggled for her life in the wildlands until she was found by Ravus's father. They later fell in love, but as she wasn't a Sephi the pair were forced to keep their romance a secret. While she is provided enough credits that she doesn't need to work, she still finds other ways to help Alvaeria, and is sometimes able to visit the king when the opportunity arises.

F R I E N D S

Personal Shadowguard > (Subordinates)
A handful of highly trained experts that have devoted their lives to watching over Ravus and following his orders.

Krug > (Ex-master)
Sith Champion. Grey Besalisk. Made an emergency landing on Skynara, and eventually got pulled into the war going on between the kingdoms and wildlife that ran rampant throughout the planet. Trained Ravus in the ways of the Force and dark side while staying at Sephyre Fortress until his ship could be repaired enough for the pair to leave the planet so they could take their lessons to other worlds and search for more power.

Not much is known about Kyo, he barely even knows a portion of his own name. He doesn't know when or where he was born, or who his family is. Searching records of his name doesn't turn up any of this information either. Nothing seems to be connected to him.

Little does he know his amnesia is due to the Void, a drug given to him in a desperate attempt to save his life after a traumatizing tragedy on Rattatak, which he relives in short moments and flashes in his dreams. Despite losing his memories, the mostly-human lad has still retained his athletic reflexes and a few other muscle memory skills.

His lack of identity and memories makes him feel incomplete and empty. He's a nobody, who still has yet to recover from the sudden painful awakening on Ruusan, where he suffered many extreme injuries, and was barely able to steal a ship in time to flee the horrific battle before losing consciousness. What remains is a lost and confused shell, whose memories from two other personas lurk at the cusp of his mind.

P E R S O N A

Rdrd4xrt.jpg

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Shy and docile. Timid and insecure. What remains of the once proud Jedi has become little more than a fraction of his past identity. His memories have been scrambled and fractured due to the chain of concussions he suffered from crashing on Ruusan that retriggered the dormant Void across the memory center of his brain. The mannerisms left behind are a shadow of his former self. He is currently extremely influenceable, and will likely begin to adapt this emerging persona to those he spends the first few weeks of his new life around.

M O T I V E S

Not much drives Kyo. He has a strong desire to remember his past, but lacks the motivation and knowledge of how to recover it. His will to continue has been a struggle, yet still he pushes on.

L I K E S

Peace. Being accepted. Feeling safe and secure. Clear memories.

D I S L I K E S

Being alone and helpless. Forgetting family and friends. Lost memories.

Favors internal Force powers, struggles with external.
Currently struggles with lightsaber combat and deflection.

While there are some flashes and scenes running through his mind of having been trained long ago, Kyo struggles to make use of these lessons. He finds it easier to use internal powers as opposed to external, which is due to his many forgotten years refining such abilities while he hid from the Galaxy. Nonetheless, using any Force powers has now become extremely difficult for the once talented Jedi.

S K I L L S

Decent with blasters, though hesitant to use them.

He can barely remember most of his experiences with skills he used to be proficient with. He still has some broken memories as a child being raised in various martial arts forms, but these memories are about as fragmented as the rest. The professions he learned from his parents have been mostly forgotten as well, and it will likely take some time for him to develop them again.

L A N G U A G E S

Fluent in simple Galactic Basic.
He barely recognizes a few other various languages from his dormant past, and doesn't understand them very well.

Kyosuke Yamato > (Dormant)
Kyo is mostly unaware of his true identity and persona, which remains asleep for now. Memories from the Dormant Persona have begun to mix with those from Null, though most remain largely forgotten. What remains is simply Kyo.

Null> (Remnant)
A being that lurks in Kyo's mind, filled with grief and regret for things they can't seem to remember. Only shattered memories have made it from Null to Kyo, showing glimpses of the Remnant's short life.

F A M I L Y ... ?

Hanzo Yamato > (Forgotten Father)
Dormant memory. A distinguished martial artist and expert mechanic. He raised Kyosuke to foster respect and discipline in his son while teaching him the traditional martial art forms of their family's ancestors. The mechanics workshop he owns secretly funnels some of its profits into an underworld organization that Yuanji, his wife, helps run. He has done everything he can to find his long lost son, but has made little progress over the last couple cycles. Though the lad had an excellent relationship with his father, Kyo can hardly remember anything about this individual, including his face.

Yuanji Yamato > (Forgotten Mother)
Dormant memory. A royal descendant from a world that has been cut-off from the rest of the Galaxy and kept secret by the collection of families that migrated from it long ago. She is the Projects Manger for the underworld organization run by this collection of families, which receives funding through the various legitimate companies and fronts they own and operate. Since the disappearance of Kyosuke she has been caught by Hanzo several times getting ready to take the Void and forget the painful memories of her long lost son, who has already forgotten her.

Rin Zhou > (Forgotten...)
Dormant memory. A bright and upbeat girl that once worked alongside Kyosuke in his father's workshop when they were younger. He was always pretty oblivious to her affection, even after she went out of her way to install his personal ship's AI for him. She has been mourning alongside his parents ever since he vanished from the Galaxy without a word. Kyo has no idea who she is, or what she ever meant to him.

F R I E N D S ... ?

Asena> (Forgotten Friend/Padawan)
Dormant memory. Kyosuke's Padawan, or at least she was before he went missing. He can vaguely remember guiding her in the ways of the Force and travelling across the stars together. Everything else about her is just a blur for now.

Seela> (Forgotten Friend/Trainee)
Dormant memory. An ex-slave that she and Kyosuke helped set free several cycles ago. During the glassing of Kashyyyk they hid and trained together on Endor for a few months, before he left and promised to return and never forget her. He barely remembers any of this, and has yet to see her again.

Edaara> (Forgotten Ally/Friend)
Dormant memory. A fellow Knight who teamed up with Kyosuke, Pero, and Hailee to deal with a threat to the Jedi temple on Yavin IV. Their deeds together are no longer something Kyo remembers.

Hailee> (Forgotten Ally/Friend)
Dormant memory. A Jedi Padawan who teamed up with Kyosuke, Edaara, and Pero to deal with a threat to the Jedi temple on Yavin IV. Their deeds together are no longer something Kyo remembers.

Pero> (Forgotten Ally/Friend)
Dormant memory. A fellow Knight who teamed up with Kyosuke, Edaara, and Hailee to deal with a threat to the Jedi temple on Yavin IV. Their deeds together are no longer something Kyo remembers.

Clove> (Forgotten Ally/Friend)
Dormant memory. A sweet Padawan at the time Kyosuke met her, the two only ever had one chance to work together. After splitting ways he never heard from or saw her again. He can't even make out her expressive features anymore.

Lucifrey> (Forgotten Ally/Friend)
Dormant memory. Kyosuke convinced her and her parents to have Luci join the Jedi Order when he discovered she was a Force Sensitive. He crafted her some components that she would later go on to make her first real lightsaber with, but can hardly remember her face. Her blue horns and tail are the only parts that stick out in the foggy images he sees of her when she was still just a youngling.

Zerath> (Forgotten Ally/Friend)
Dormant memory. Kyosuke never really had much of a chance to actually meet Zerath. The blind Jedi helped him get out of a rather promiscuous situation, but they split ways shortly after that and hadn't seen or heard from each other since.

Rell> (Forgotten Ally/Friend)
Remnant memory. A mysterious individual who appeared during one of Null's bounty hunting missions. Like the rest of his memories, Rell is just a blurry image in Kyo's foggy mind.

Celeste Stythani > (Forgotten Savior and Captor...?)
Remnant memory. Once the most important person in Null's life, not much remains of their memories with this woman. She once helped bring him back from the brink of death, but is now just a vague and blurry image that haunts Kyo's dreams.

E N E M I E S ... ?

Master...? > (Forgotten Ex-Master)
Dormant memory. She practically raised the Jedi while he spent nearly a decade as her Padawan. Together they survived at the edge of the Galaxy, taking on odd jobs and bounties to both do their part clearing out criminals and earning a living at the same time. Now he can barely remember anything about her, other than she abandoned him and sent herself into exile once he finally passed his Trials and became a Knight.

Alex> (Forgotten Grandmaster)
Dormant/Remnant memory. Vaguely feels a chill of betrayal during the brief moment he can remember of her pushing him away. He has other faint flashes of her blurry face, and a conflicting feeling of trust toward her, and is uncertain what to think of this individual whose name and connection to him he cannot recall.

T H R E A D S

C H A P T E R ??: Lost

A Joining of Minds > Kyo awakens in the midst of a horrifying battle. Extremely wounded and hardly still alive from some mysterious crash that he can scarce remember. He barely manages to pull enough of himself together with fragmented memories running through his mind as he steals a seemingly unknown ship and escapes Ruusan before it is bombarded from orbit by a massive Kilik fleet.

Trash Cats and Falling Stars > The stolen and droid and ship from Ruusan take Kyo to Raxus Prime, where he awakens to find his badly battered body bandaged and laying in some mysterious medbay. (ongoing)
