The streets were barer than usual on Raxus, likely due to the downpour and the sound of roaring thunder above. The darkness chased some off the streets as well and provided a small bit of cover too. It wasn't a half bad time to break in and rid a building of it's gang occupants. The building wasn't in the nicest part of Raxus but, from her experince, these areas were much easier to gain control over.

Malicia was trying to focus on the plan. Get in the building. Kill everyone. Move her cult in. Just a foot hold to expand from. She needed to keep expanding her cult, and not let all these thoughts drive her insane. She'd been plagued by questions since Ajan Kloss. Though at very least, she'd become more comfortable with her hunger. She felt closer to it... despite not fully understanding it.

...Yet. She didn't have the time to bury her nose in the Sith library now.

She was in her usual cadre-garb, this time with the hood pulled up for obvious reasons. One of the two cultists at her side abruptly rose his blaster. Malicia's eyes followed the aim towards the end of the alleyway. It did not take long for her yellow, corrupt gaze to settle on the shadowy figure there. Malicia barely reacted to it. She was expecting a guest, one she'd worked with on Ajan Kloss. And if it wasnt him? She'd let her cultists deal with it. The man was obviously powerful and had once been referred by her cadre-brother. Beyond that, she knew very little of him. Inviting him was an obvious risk, yet it wasn't a bad idea to get to know friend or foe.

He had arrived there some time prior to scope out the area. He paused at an alleyway that was near the rendezvous point, taking out a cigarra and puffing on it. The amount of people he respected that were still alive was abysmally low. Yet Malicia found herself on that list. She was someone that, if she spoke, he would actually bother listening. Smoke plumed from his nostrils as he saw movement in the opposite end of the alley. A wisp of fog escaped his lips from the chill of the night that came with the cold rain.

He grabbed the mask he had worn during the Ajan Kloss assault, placing it on his face as one of the cadre members leveled his blaster. Emryc didn’t react, watching Malicia glancing in his direction. He strode out from where he was, dressed in a black cloak over his dark attire.

He crossed the alley till he came to stand before her and the cultists. His head tilted just for a moment towards the cultist that had drawn a gun at him. An icy chill that had nothing to do with the weather would run down his spine and then extend out to his extremities, locking up especially into those fingers that were curled around the blaster trigger. It was a silent exchange that was entirely too subtle for anyone else to notice.

Emryc slowly turned to look at Malicia then, “It’s about time we formally met, Darth Malicia,” He said quietly, “What’s the plan?”

The cultist at her side lowered his weapon, his hand shaking. Malicia, on the other hand, tipped her head curiously. "Still wearing that mask, are you?" she commented, eyes flicking over it. It made her wonder what was beneath it because the man felt as dark as her. Though there was the mission at hand and she reminded herself of that.

"The roof," she answered his question after a pause, turning her eyes to gaze upwards. The building she planned to seize wasn't far away, and while it was several stories high one could very clearly see the star ship on top . "Their leaders very paranoid. He has a complex security system throughout the building and his fail safe is that ship. I want to take the ship out first and enter from the top," she answered.

Now, she hadn't decided on how to get on the roof but she walked past Emryc anyway and started towards the building. Maybe she'd spot something to use, or they'd just have to climb and hope no one spotted them. Whatever way, it wouldn't bother her. She waved at her two cultists to leave while she walked. "My men will linger around the building to watch each exit and move in at my command."

Emryc’s gaze lingered on Malicia for a moment, noting the milky white skin and the stark golden eyes. There was almost a tone of disappointment in her comment about the mask, and he had a faint grin beneath it, “I want the mask and my face to be recognized for different things,” He said simply before he began to walk with her.

He didn’t pick up the pace, striding behind her as she went ahead. His eyes scanned around them for means of getting up. He spotted some movement to the side and came to a pause as he saw a man walking into a residential complex connecting to the building in the same alley. He appeared to be carrying flowers for someone, “Over here,” He said quietly to get Malicia’s attention.

Emryc walked ahead, glancing around before he coiled the Force around the man’s neck. He could see the man writhing and struggling, gasping without being able to make any other noises. Emryc passed him as the man began to drop to the ground, grabbing his keycard before he hit with a thud.

The keycard scanned and opened the doors, and it would also be helpful to get to the upper levels of the building and the roofs that connected. Ever the gentleman, he waited for Malicia to proceed first, leaving the dead tenant and the roses for the cultists to clean up just feet away.

His answer made sense. Especially if he disconnected his face from his more violent exploits. Malicia hadn't bothered to invest in something like it. The desire to expand and secure her freedom had blinded her from thinking of something so simple but beneficial. It was too late to dwell on it.

Malicia paused shortly after Emryc did and watched him go to work. When he was able to get his hands on the keycard she followed after, walking overtop of the roses. This route was—hopefully—an easy way to make it on the roof.

The doors opened for the pair, and the buildings heated air rushed at her, trying to warm up her skin but failing. The room temperature lowered when she entered it, the warmth had little chance. Looking down one of the hallways, she spotted an elevator sign. She followed it, walking past a couple who made room for her and Emryc to pass.

The couple had just got off the elevator so Malicia flicked her wrist, forcing the doors to remain open until her and Emryc were able to get on. She was about to let the doors go when a tall, business man walked onto the same elevator and turned around to face the doors.

The small Sith let the doors close, then smiled. "Maybe a 6" she said to herself, uncaring that the guy was right in front of her.

Emryc watched the businessman walk in and face the doors. The repulsorlift began to rise and he heard Malicia’s words.

“Oh?” Emryc cut in, knowing full well who she was referring to, “You wound me,” He said, his voice laced with a velvet finish. The man in front of them shifted uncomfortably, Emryc’s gaze was still trained forward. The doors opened again and the man quickly shuffled out. The doors closed once again as the repulsorlift kept traveling up towards the top floor. He knew they would need a separate key to get up to the roof, and he could only hope that they would be able to force their way up.

With a ding, the doors opened once again. To his dismay, there were quite a few people gathered on this level as some sort of tenant party was taking place. They would have to make their way past the crowd to get to the roof access doors. Most of the people were already drunk, the sound of laughter and cheering erupting all around. Music was blaring and people were dancing around.

Malicia breathed in an amused laugh when Emryc unexpectedly answered. His words obviously drew her gaze back to him. Back to that mask of his. "Very amusing," she answered at first. "Maybe if you take that off I could give you a rating," she half-joked. It was both a tease and a desire driven by her curiosity.

Music blared at them when the doors open. Malicia had been to a slummy party or two undercover, but there was so much life jammed packed in here it began to make her hunger gnaw at her mind. It forced her to actively ignore it. At least, attempt to.

One of of her potential meals stepped in front of her however, forcing her to stop in the swath of life. "Dammnnn... sweet digs," the man gestured towards both Malicia and Emryc, referring to how they were dressed. He raised his other hand up at the same time, making some sort of sign while sticking his tongue out.

He got absolutely no reaction out of Malicia. She simply used the Force to strengthen her before shoving the man into the nearby wall. "2" she grunted then walked past him. Most people were too high and drunk to realize what had just happened in front of them. Of course, that wasn't all the attention they got. "Hey goth boy, got anything good to share?" one girl said, reaching to grab Emryc's arm to stop him.

Emryc didn’t respond for a moment at her words, knowing she was more than a little curious. He wondered if Asminys shared any details, though the man didn’t strike the type to kiss and tell, “Maybe if you’re good,” He said smoothly in the end, focusing back on the throng of people ahead.

He didn’t miss Malicia shove the man into the wall, amusement glinting in his eyes behind the mask. He kept walking when another woman came over to grab his arm. He didn’t recoil from it, pausing in his tracks as he turned to look at her, “Perhaps you can be the one to share,” Emryc leaned in close to the woman’s ear and whispered some words as if to a lover. The Force wove into her mind as he did so, her eyes suddenly glazing over slightly.

The woman sauntered over to the table of food, moved some serving trays aside and climbed on. She then lifted her shirt up and flashed everyone, “LOOK AT ME!” She screamed at the top of her lungs. The crowds quickly whipped around to look, sounds of shock and cheers erupting. Everyone had their eyes on her.

Emryc slowly tilted his head to the side as he watched the woman’s antics, “Five,” He said before spinning on his heel and walking past the security guard that had been there to oversee the party. He stood there in frozen shock, eyes locked onto the woman’s chest as Emryc casually swiped his keycard from him. The guard quickly jolted out of his thoughts, “HEY! GET DOWN FROM THERE!” He yelled before running towards the woman.

The coast was left clear for Emryc and Malicia. He used the keycard for the door, once again allowing Malicia to step through. The set of stairs would lead up to the roof that would connect directly to the one she had been targeting.

Only if I'm good? she thought, letting an amused chuckle roll through her chest.

His last comment was long past by the time he leaned over the party-goer and whispered in her ear. Malicia turned to watch the woman at the same time as Emryc. She was about to turn again but his unexpected rating forced her to stop for a second, and prompted a twisted smile on her face. "Her left one is bigger," the Darth noted before moving on.

Emryc was already moving a second after, nabbing a keycard and opening the door for them. Malicia smiled again, walking through to the rooftop. The gap between the buildings wasn't small, but it also wasn't too far for a Force user. Malicia didn't wait for her guest, calling on the Force again to give her the speed she needed to leap to the other roof.

She landed on her feet and one hand to help disburse her weight. Getting up to her full height, her eyes landed on the ship. It was rather big, or, at least, for the roof top. She'd landed near the ships entrance so she walked up the ramp and ignited her lightsaber into the doorway, cutting her way inside.

Since she was working on fresh information quickly, the little details like... how she was going to sabotage the ship hadn't been worked out. Malicia tipped her head in thought for a second then simply dragged her lightsaber along the panels all the way to the cockpit, turning around after and titling her head again. "Do you think they needed any of that to take off?" she asked with a playful laugh, though she paused when she heard voices outside the ship.

Emryc smirked beneath the mask at her comment on the woman, “The left ones usually are,” He said quietly in response before following her out. He had sampled his share of women in the past.

He followed up to the roof, noting the gap. He crossed it easily, landing in a slight crouch before rising again. He watched Malicia cut her way through, finding the gesture slightly amusing. The two of them operated differently, and he was curious to see how her way played out.

Her question brought another faint grin she wouldn’t see, “I’ll go ask,” He said simply as he stepped backwards and off the ramp again. He could immediately spot what looked like mercenaries surrounding them suddenly. One of the men reached for a comlink and Emryc quickly yanked it towards himself with the Force.

The comlink was tossed aside moments before Emryc grabbed a hold of the owner of it by the neck. He shifted the man to the right as a man behind him took aim and fired off a few shots. The man he gripped couldn’t even scream as bolts seared through his body, his friend standing behind him horrified. Emryc tossed the dead man directly into his friend, igniting his saber and hurling it at another man near his flank. It found purchase, digging into his chest. Emryc yanked the saber out before the man even hit the ground, returning it to his grasp to deflect against incoming blasterfire.

They had to suppress these people quickly or risk setting off too many alarms.

Malicia walked out while Emryc was taking care of the men outside. It was good that he took care of them swiftly. If they had squealed too early, it might've made her plan tougher to execute.

Regardless, she forced a faint frown on her face, tapping her bottom lip and letting out a small hum at the same time. "Its a pity they dont get to see your face before they die," she teased. She didn't know how much patience the man had with teasing, though she truely didn't care. Besudes, she had a feeling he wouldn't mind.

She waited for the men to hit the floor before pulling out her comm. "Now," she said. "And remember, I want them all dead." There was no reason to leave anyone in the building alive, at least in her mind. Tie up all lose ends. She wasn't interested in getting into a gang war or what have you.

A few of the buildings floor blinked out as one of her cultists slicers did their best to target specific weakness. It was a complex system, so the best he could do right away was target weakness on the top two floors , then one on the lower floor. The rest of her men forced their way into building from various entrances and the game was on.

"The door in should be unlocked," she said, "And the cameras out on the top floors. At least, for now."

The last man had a bolt deflected directly to the face. He was about to topple off the roof but Emryc quickly grabbed him with the Force and slammed him down on the ground in front of him. They couldn’t afford to have bodies falling over the edge and sparking questions. He looked down at the dead bodies as Malicia spoke, tilting his head up slowly to look at her. He began to walk towards her to go past her. However, he murmured quietly with amusement as he passed her, “Pity they don’t get to see it or you don’t?”

His strides carried him to the door that led down into the building. He took a few steps down, hearing commotion below along with broken glass shattering, “They’re making an awful amount of noise,” He said through gritted teeth as he hopped over the railing and free fell to land a few levels below. He landed like a cat, light on his feet before rose to stand again.

The red saber ignited in the darkness, and he could see pure, unadulterated fear in the eyes of the people. Emryc began to step forth, the Force clutching men by their throats and constricting. His saber worked in concert, a mesmerizing red beacon amidst the darkness that artfully cut and sliced through bodies like a hot knife through butter. Most men didn’t have the chance to scream, left behind as trails of bodies that smoked and steamed as Emryc kept walking.

She didn't reply to his question since he knew the answer. She simply followed behind him into the building, igniting her own saber. The rooms illuminated with a passing red. Bodies littered the halls behind Emryc, and Malicia stayed behind him for a time. A short time. She wanted to take advantage of him taking the lead, but the feeling of death tapped into the uncontrollable part of her mind and forced her to stand by his side.

The Darth hand extended, and dark tendrils poured from her. They were hungry and they moved with desperation. They wrapped around the nearest man that hadn't taken a hit from Emryc's blade. They tore into the man like teeth, ripping his life out. Drawing life back to Malicia before extending out to snag the next victim. Malicia and Emryc strode through the halls, leaving broken and drained corpses in their wake.

When they finally made it to the main office Malicia ripped the door open with the Force. The gears in the door whined against the power before breaking. That'd be something that'd have to be fixed later, though it wasn't like she'd even have to command it.

The room appeared empty even though it wasn't. Malicia could feel life here. Four lives. Two behind the desk, two on each side of the room. They were all obviously hiding, possibly hoping to catch the invaders by surprise. "How fast do you think we can kill them?" Malicia asked, reaching out and shoving the desk forward onto two of the men. What she didn't expect was the desk to be shoved right back. One of the men behind the desk stood up, his hand outstretched. He too was using the Force, but to send the desk right back at them.

Emryc never quickened his pace, taking a casual stroll as his saber whirled and diced up anyone around him. Malicia worked in concert with him, draining away the lives of anyone that survived or attempted to hide in dark corners. He paused when the door was forced open, allowing them to step in. He was focused on the sense of others being present, not answering her question that time.

The display of the desk sliding back towards them was mildly surprising. He extended his hand and pressed his open palm against the edge of the desk to stop its trajectory. A Force user could be a valuable addition to whatever cause Malicia pursued. He trusted that Malicia would keep anyone else trying to interrupt at bay.

“The others in this building,” He calmly spoke to the man that had shoved the desk at them, “How much did they mean to you personally?” The answer would determine if Emryc would spend the effort to execute him.

A Force user made this much more interesting, though she remained quiet for the moment since Emryc beat her to the punch.

"I don't care about any of them," the man's voice growled as he stepped in front of the gang boss. The Force user was young and his eyes, hair and complexion mirrored the bosses. There was some sort of connection between the two and the young Force user clearly care about the gang boss.

Of course, the room lit up with blaster fire right after. Malicia reflected the first bolts before sending the next into the guards on the sides. One guard took a bolt to the head, the other to the chest. They both collapsed when the man behind the Force user aimed his blaster towards Emryc, then Malicia, then back at Emryc.

"You'll both regret it if you kill me," the bosses voice cut into the interaction, its deep tone easily distinguishable. "You want credits? You wont get any out of my death. No one can crack my account," he continued, his voice eerily calm considering the situation he was in. Malicia didn't reply. Her Force wrapped around the bosses neck, lifting him off the ground.

Emryc wasn’t surprised to see the guards abruptly drop, but his focus was on the younger man. The boss stood behind him and leveled a blaster with Malicia having a grip on him.

Emryc didn’t say anything for a moment before pulling a chair over with the Force and calmly sitting down behind the desk that was conveniently slid over to him earlier, “Put that silly thing away,” He said to the boss with the blaster, “I’m sure we can come to an understanding here,” Emryc glanced over at Malicia to ease off just enough to where the son wouldn’t panic about his father.

“You will be getting some new tenants in here,” He explained calmly, “You obviously have established yourself as a powerhouse in running trade that brings with it a lot of contacts. You will support these new tenants and help us expand out into this block and then into positions of power within the city.”

Before anyone could intervene, Emryc continued speaking as he tilted his head to look at the younger man, “In return, we will take your son with us and train him to control his gifts so he doesn’t have to keep being a freak you constantly shelter from the public.”

Malicia watched Emryc sit down, taking control for the moment. She considered protesting. It was her operation after all, but if she learned anything from her various exploits and training, it was to go with the flow. She let go of the father for the moment but didn't sit, instead choosing to stand beside Emryc to continue to provide an element of intimidation. Her lightsaber's red glow still tainted the area around it. The humm filled the pockets of silence in the room.

"You can have the blasted building," the father answered at first. "And I'll sit here and play hostage for you. Do whatever else you ask, but you wont be taking my son. He belongs with his family... even as a freak." The gang bosses words were quickly followed by his sons, "Father! Just do as-" but they were cut off. "Quiet Koloth!" The boss knew that refusing anything at this point would likely mean they'd kill both him and his son. That he'd accepted. He'd rather die with his son then let his son be taken by two freaks. They'd die together, at very least.

That was the back up plan anyway, the boss started to very, very slowly step backwards towards the wall behind them. Malicia noticed the movement immediately and reached up again, scowling as a few sparks of lightning leapt from her hand. The sparks collided and hissed around the bosses legs. A deep scream rang from the father before he buckled over. "Father!" the boy screamed too, a slight crack in his voice. He got down to try to help but his father grit his teeth and pushed his son back. "If you try to do something stupid again, I'll end this conversation," Malicia said flatly.

People really were exhausting. He could appreciate why Malicia had simply wanted to eradicate them - it would certainly make this go faster. However, they had to think long term and a man with existing influences could help them a lot more than starting from scratch. Emryc tapped a finger on the table for a moment before turning to look at the son.

“You’re not exactly a child,” He said curtly, “However you wish for this to play out, so it shall be,” He said, letting tension grow between son and father. In some ways Emryc and Malicia didn’t even have to lift a finger. He silently observed as the younger man visibly bristled before turning to his dad. It was clear he had never stood up for himself before and this was uncharted territory.

“Father I-”

“Don’t even think about it,” The Boss hissed.

“LET ME SPEAK FOR ONCE!” The Force exploded out from him, sending the older man flying back to slam against the wall. The man groaned in pain and Koloth ran over to kneel beside him. He almost had tears in his eyes, “I’m...I’m so sorry but please...please let me do this. I’m tired of being the way I am. I’m tired of having to hide and having no control of what I do. I can’t take it anymore...please..please let me do this. I’ve been waiting for this chance for so long and...and deep inside, I know you have too.”

Emryc glanced over at the chrono on his wrist before looking over at Malicia. She wasn’t exactly known for her patience and this was a soap opera playing out before them. After a moment, Emryc rose to stand again, clearing his throat, “All right, it sounds like we have a deal because another second of this and the lady will see your organs decorate this room.”

He waved his hand as he began to leave the room, "Come along, Cloth or whatever."

Malicia watched the scene unfold and it registered on very few levels for her. In her world there were brothers, sisters and masters. She felt no attachment to masters, and she was thankful when Emryc stood up to cut things off.

"My names Koloth!" the boy grunted at Emryc, though the color drained out of his face after. He clearly regretted lashing out.

Malicia ignored the exchange, watching the father stand with an air of defeat and press a few buttons on his desk. The alarms on the lower levels of the building went out and the security systems shut down. "It's a deal..." the boss said with a clenched jaw.

Malicia pulled out her comm after. "The building is secure, begin move in," she said. "Yes mother," a voice hissed back through the comm. She looked up from her comm back to Emryc. "You've been very helpful, Emryc. A little bit dissapointing on one level," she said, her eyes lingering on his mask teasingly, "But otherwise I assume you'll be looking for a favor in return."

Emryc walked out of the building, stepping over the dead bodies on his way back. The lights were back on and the storm had slowed to a drizzle. He heard Malicia speak into her comms, the word ‘mother’ causing a raised eyebrow that she would never see. Her words had no immediate reaction, though a grin threatened behind the mask. He reached into the folds of his cloak and drew out a single rose, one he had taken from the man at the residential complex. The rose had been warped with the Force, twisted to be jet black and contorted with the remnant of the man’s dying agony laced into its creation.

“A token for my shortcomings, then,” He said as he handed her the rose. Emryc turned away from her and looked ahead at the city ahead of them. The whole planet could serve them one day, and he would see it done starting with what they did here today. Her words about a favor came to mind and he was silent for a moment.

“I normally operate alone,”
He said while still gazing at the rain. Emryc was not in the habit of asking for help or support. He stepped forth as if he were going to walk away, and he very well planned on it. However he paused for a moment before turning to look at her again, “It’s curious…. That you wish to see the Cadre thrive.”
