So on the 8th? We had a bad storm and it knocked out my internet. They were supposed to come today to fix it. Instead they cancelled. Now I am told they won't be able to come until the 19th.

SO.... to everyone I am threading with, either do me a favor and wait or CC my character in a way that makes them look good and don't get them killed!

jfc!!!! just imagine that I jumped stiff legged into the air about 20 feet. One for everyday without internets!

I call the company, had to borrow a cell phone to do that cause I save bucks on doing a bundle... phone, net, tv... so yeah. no phone for 20 days?

anyway i call them and there is no one in the whole country who can tell me when this thing might be fixed if ever.

just keep your fingers crossed that sometime before this timeline ends it is fixed!

ok.... 4 tech visits to the house and each time they only send one guy and the work order calls for a team of 4, two to take care of dropping a new line from the pole across the hi-way to my house and two to flag traffic while they do it. so the man came and was like, yeah you need a new line and i can't do it. i will schedule you an appointment.

*loud screams and much blood letting*

anyway, Monday I am going to the office and speak to a person face ot face and see what happens. I have not Ghosted!!! I will return.

I do agree. So long story short, it is now fixed and I will be scrambling to get caught up around here. It was a grueling experience. Went to the office, they sent out a crew...not enough men nor the right equipment....again, that made 5 times...but they came back this morning and finished the job. now I am fighting them to credit my account to avoid disconnection.

JFC...literally while i am typing this the internet went out on me. While I am on the phone with the suddenlink rep about my bill!!!!

imma... just... die now.

like she asks me if there is anything else and I said yeah I was told that I would get discounts and free stuff to compensate for the hassel but I don't feel up to dealing with that right now? then the net died, the phone went blank and I was like... she hung up on me??????

oy...

anyway. i will be up to speed eventually if the crick don't rise and such.
