The planet of Deucalia was said to be an abandoned wasteland, with it's original inhabitants lost to time. The world was filled with forests, tundra, and cold. Their people were said to be some of the greatest warriors in the galaxy, and that was the kind of people Grace needed on her side. Despite the insistence of many claiming there were no holdouts left on the world, the Consortium's scouts said otherwise. While much of the planet was abandoned, a small underground city was discovered, along with a couple small villages above ground near it. This was perhaps the last holdout of world, Grace had done some research.

If the Deucalians were alive there, then other organizations would take notice too. Miss Zann herself decided she would like to meet the people, and make them a very generous offer. If they were willing to listen that was. She would fly into the atmosphere of the cold world, aboard her Crusader-Class II Corvette. The vehicle itself was a light grey color, blending in well with the snow as it fell from the sky.

z2tm2qgh2h31.jpg
The corvette would land a hundred meters outside of a small village. It looked primitive by most others' standards, but Grace knew the stories. Their people only seemed primitive until they went to battle. The main door of the corvette would hiss open, and a metal ramp would extend itself to the ground. The crime lord would walk out in her newest set of armor, accompanied by two of her vanguards who followed closely behind. Her lightsaber was close to her hip, as she approached the small village. As she did, many small children would begin looking at her, with others would seemingly draw various weapons.

"I mean you all no harm. I've only come to talk." She would shout. The people didn't seem any less suspicious, nor did they put their weapons away. They didn't move towards her however, and that was a good sign.

Iniya heard a commotion outside and glanced out the window of one of the huts on Deucalia. She saw a Crusader Class Corvette land, and a woman with short brown hair exited the ship. Her curiosity piqued, she leaned forward a little. Some of the other Deucalians gathered in front of the village, holding their weapons, ready to fire should the woman prove to be a threat. Which, by the look of her, she could be if she wanted to.

Iniya had bullshitted her way to the position of right-hand advisor to the chief of this village. The people of Deucalia were not stupid and it had taken some extra charm to get them to trust her, but she had a good amount of power over the chief's decisions. Deucalia was far enough away from anything else that word of her actions here did not spread.

She stood up, noticing the chief walking to the front of the group. Perhaps she should join the chief, and do her job. She stood at the entrance to the hut she had been sitting in.

Once again, Grace had set her eyes on things that had to be requesitioned in a very peculiar way... out in the middle of nowhere, it had become a very apparent streak of him coming along travelling from one corner of the Galaxy to the other and whilst he did not mind it he preffered a systematic approach to doing things but... Grace always did surprise him which kept him on his toes.

Sliding his Helmet on before rising from the seat he occupied in the Corvette for a while now he exited almost a moment after Grace, shuffling past her two Vanguards to stand once more at her solemn right side, his hands folded infront of his abdomen as he gazed out into the frozen tundra like village.

"Its not sand..."

He would remark to himself, being a almost exclusive native to Tatooine this was definently something new, if it was exciting he would have to come to terms with yet, Tyr'din was on edge first as they were regarded with steel but at the same time understood the aggression, they were on foreign soil, rolled up in a foreign corvette and expected to be welcomed neutral... not the best first impression but he didn't question Grace.

It was the nature of his Armor that once again drew eyes from some of the natives albeit mostly because it seemed foreign but also effective, yet beyond his visor there was no regard for it as he simply returned the gazes with a cold analytical regard, he had to make sure noone was planning anything they would regret.

Grace would be approached by a small group of near-human men, the leader of which was especially muscular, and held some sort of vibroaxe. The woman next to him was a strange sight however, a Zeltros, unexpected to say the least. The older man would announce himself, "My name is Chieftain Olgar. What business do you have with us." As he did, the other men would loosen the grip on their weapons. Grace had not yet attacked, from their perspective at least.

The young crime lord would answer the Chieftain, "I am Grace Zann. I have come to Deucalia in search of your people. Stories tell of the most fearsome warriors in the galaxy." the chief would almost smile in response, but he would stop himself. "We are known for that yes. But combat is also what brought our kind to extinction. What do you want with our combat prowess?"

Grace would in turn clear her throat, "I am a business woman of sorts, one looking to hire protection. My organization employs a large number of warriors. I'd like to add your people to our roster... If you do decided to join our organization. I think I could help your planet and culture--" the man would simply raise his hand and shake his head in response. He would explain, "I think it's best you leave Grace Zann. These people have no desire to fight, not like they once did. We're not for hire, regardless of what your organization can offer."

Grace could tell, this guy wasn't going to make it easy for them.

Iniya moved out of the doorway of the hut to stand next to the chief. Her own blasters were visible in the holsters slung low across her hips. Her right hand rested on one as she eyed the newcomers. She recognized the woman as Grace Zann, the crime lord of the newly powerful Zann Consortium. Iniya kept her gaze on Grace and the unknown man in Mandalorian armor as the chief spoke. It had been her who had advised him to keep to himself, focusing on his own, but it hadn't taken much. Ironic, considering her bright pink skin stood out amongst the pale complexion of everyone else in this village. Iniya crossed her arms, waiting for Grace to continue. She knew the people of Deucalia would not give in easily to these foreigners, but Iniya was intrigued; perhaps the Zann Consortium could offer her something Deucalia couldn't.

Tyr'din would lean down into earshot of Grace only, these people seemed nomadic and very inclusive, he expected a similiar welcome but at the same time Grace wouldn't get far by simply striking them an offer, to him it seemed like they wouldn't risk their necks if it was just monetary value on the line, the Tuskens he knew were similiar, if he wanted something he had to provide something beneficial to their lives in exchange.

"Listen Grace... these people you wont get with money..."

He would speak in a hushed tone, he knew very much that he wasn't exactly the perfect Advisor but some of his ideas had saved her life before so he considered his Advice free of charge, however this time around it would be in the interest of the Consortium.

"If he speaks the truth offer him Land, they'll need space to expand, rather than conscripting him they will naturally defend said Land they live on if the reputation you spoke of holds up. Places to rebuild if you understand."

His hushed voice resounded once more before he straightened back out leaving Grace to do her thing, he didn't need to tell her how to package words but it was a Idea nevertheless that and he didn't want to start a fight with people that would probably mutilate them if they got their hands on them.

The village chief would seemingly turn to a couple others who would now sheathe their weapons. The potential threat seemed gone now that Grace's intentions were clear. She would watch the group of men turn and begin to walk away. As she did, Tyr'din woudl speak into her ear. He rose some very good points. Being on such an isolated world, money didn't really drive these people. What they really needed was something tangible. Something like land to call their own.

She would look around the surface of the planet, much pf the vegetation was covered in snow. Growing food was probably difficult. Maybe that was why so many left this world? But things could be changed, land was something the consortium could both acquire and give. "Good thinking." She would whisper in response, before then clearing her throat.

"What if I offered you land." She would speak up... Now she would have the people's attention. Several of the man would look at her with cocked eyebrows, while the chief simply stopped in his tracks. Olgar would stroke his thick beard for a moment, before asking curiously. "What do you mean by land? This is our home."

Grace would give a nod in response, "Indeed it is, and I would never want anyone to take that from you. What if I could make your home larger though?"

Mae proceeded out of the ship a little later then the others. She had to deal with some internal pirating matters that just could not wait. She walked down the ramp in her new Body Armor paired with a matching cape. She walked to Graces left side to match Tyr'din's position on the other side, just in time to hear him whisper into her ear about the money being useless to these people and land might be a better offer, both very valid points. Mae was not sure that land was the right call either, but it definitely was not credits.

The key to this negotiations was finding out exactly what they wanted. As a warrior people, they must have some base or standard of honor among their people. Mae's eyes scanned their village looking for markings or badges of honor in some way. Her eyes then scanned the men and women looking for trophies or symbols of pride. Tattoos or scars in certain shapes, anything that would explain their honor and value system. The vibro axes that some of the men were wielding had some strange marks upon them, but without a closer look, it did not do much good.

She too whispered into Graces left ear, but instead of leaning down, she had to get onto her tip toes and stretch her neck to do so. "I agree about the money, but also keep in mind their values of honor, maybe something that you have done that would be viewed as honorable to them or even something you could offer them to gain a certain level of honor in their society." Mae said. She cut herself off as she did not want to say too much or go into too much detail. Grace was smart enough to catch onto what Mae was saying. As she finished saying this, she caught the glance of the Zeltros woman, and she returned that glance with one of her own. Mae looked her up and down and wondered how she could be a part of this and these people.

Iniya tilted her head at the trio who obviously desperately wanted control of Deucalia. And evidently, if Grace's words were to mean anything, they had the means to do it, and do it well. The chief, Olgar glanced at her, almost unwillingly asking for advice. She could tell he was interested in the offer of land. Iniya did some quick thinking before leaning over to whisper in his ear, as it seemed Grace's own advisors were doing. "I believe they are very capable of giving you everything they promise, my lord. It would be a mistake to turn them away now," she said, her voice hushed. "Perhaps a meeting, in the chief's hut?" she said, smiling at the representatives of the Zann Consortium.

Tyr'din didn't like this one bit, they were in a sudo standoff and the more they stood here the more they were a target, there were too many angles to watch for a single person and even if he trusted the Vanguard that Grace brought with her, it was simply not enough even if he bolstered it personally.

However his gaze shot towards Iniya sharply as she now did the same as they did with Grace, whilst he understood the hipocrisy of scrutinizing them for the same thing they just did it was simply part of his Job and nature to scrutinize whatever he came across, the reason behind it being that one could never truely be certain.

His hands idly tapped along his belt whilst he waited for a decision from the Village Chief who seemed to be taking very careful consideration of the words, no doubt letting in outsiders without a reason would earn him alot of questions especially if he elected to do business afterall but that was just how the Zann way was, if they really wanted this Planet they would simply take it, its a stepping stone afterall.

His eyes then slowly rolled over to the other side of Grace, Mae had taken her place there, he didn't have a problem with her being around, she seemed a pleasant mind to have around but that he couldn't judge based only on work though her choice in Armor he approved off, even if it accented specific things intentionally, that was just part of the package, though he felt a bit out of place considering that he was the largest of the three making it look like a descending order from left to right.

"Its your call, Grace."

Grace was glad to finally see Mae out of the ship, she needed all the advice she could get right now. If the Deucalians could be brought into their ranks, they would have a breed of warrior among them that few in the galaxy could match. Not to mention a new planet under their control. The Zeltron even seemed to be intrigued by the whole situation, encouraging her superior to hold a meeting.

Mae also brought up a good point, Grace needed to prove her skills as a warrior to really get through to these people... Only, they seemed less martial than usual at the moment. The chief would mull over his advisors would before he would give her a soft nod, "A meeting then..."

"Grace Zann, we will discuss this matter further at the village's long house. Follow me."
He would begin walking toward a large wooden structure, adorned with shields on the outside. The woman herself would simply bow before remarking, "As you say chief Olgar." Before following him to the center of the town. Grace and her companions would be surrounded by men who looked to be the town's guards. They were likely looking after elder as he walked. "Relax Tyr'din... I'm sure this will be fine."

Eventually, he would reach the doors of the long house, and they would swing open to reveal a much more technologically advanced room. It looked like a New Republic senator's office! "Quite the place you've got here."

(OOC: Reylo, if you want to control the chief, you can. It will make things more challenging than debating with myself lol)

Mae remained at Graces side as they walked to the chiefs hut. Mae looked at the shields closely as they approached the hut. This had to have some kind of importance to these people. Each shield was decorated in different colors and markings, making it harder to understand their meanings. Maybe they were the crests of the different houses of the higher ranked families of the clan? or maybe they were just symbols of protection for the person who dwells within. She could not be sure. As they entered the hut, Mae too was surprised with how nice and non- primitive it was on the in side. She waiting for the chief to speak before she would advise Grace further.

Iniya's smile never left her face and it was hard to tell if it was a nasty smirk or the polite smile of a diplomat welcoming others into her home village. Olgar spoke. "What has led you to our distant planet?" He was neither kind nor rude, a tactic Iniya had taught him herself; so long without contact to the outside world was not good for their political skills.

Iniya's watchful gaze landed on the girl with red hair and then upon the man in Mandalorian armor. She wondered what a Mando was doing with the Syndicates, and what rank the girl with red hair had and if she was close to Grace. She knew it would much harder to lie to these people but that would it all the more fun.

"Hell of a picnic... Grace. Next time you take me out ask me first yes?"

He jested as they walked until they arrived in the Abode of the Chief in question, giving a quiet whistle behind his helmet as he took in the... rather advanced living comforts, this does not often occur but Tyr'din was for once... not expecting this of all things, may that be a good or bad thing.

"That... is quite the place yes. Secretary too?"

He asked in a friendly jest but waved it off shortly afterwards, now that the Chief and Grace could get down to business however, Tyr'din searched himself the best corner to observe the whole ordeal from, one thing was apparent however he always kept to Graces right no matter how far he was away, mayhaps symbolism or unintentional intrinsic nature.

He gestured Mae over and if she obliged he'd ask her in a more direct manner about her own thoughts on this.

"I did not think id be... somewhere out in the snow in a very tribal looking yet modern Village, but I could get used to it."

He would then place both his hands infront of his belt buckle folding them together as he straightened out, a experienced Bodyguard with a professional attitude that was yet laid back was all that a direct onlooker could deduce but from appearance? A Mandalorian if you didn't know better.

Grace would take a seat at a large wooden table Olgar sat at the other end of. The rest of her crew followed, and Tyr'din would even joke a bit. If the situation didn't call for some seriousness, then she would have jested back. Instead, she would focus on the man before her, who asked the big question. Why was Grace here? Why did she care?

"Olgar. I'm sure you know of your people's reputation. You're mighty warriors rivaled by few others in the galaxy. My organization, the Zann Consortium wants you on our side, the winning side. I respect your people, and want to see your culture flourish again. I want to restore your roots. Make the people of Deucalia the fighters they once were again. I can offer you land, and help expand your culture, if you and your people would work for my organization."

She hoped the argument was a good one, but didn't know how the chief would feel. "And if not land, is there anything I can offer you?"

Mae followed Selm over to where he was sitting and pretty much sat directly behind Grace as Selm was still to her right. She leaned forward to whisper behind Grace. She told her "don't to forget problem solvers. Everyone has problems, if he tells us what his is, we can most likely solve it for him, one way or another"

She then leaned back and told Selm the same thing she just told Grace. It was the first time she had really been this close to him. She admired his presence in his mandalorian armor as perfect for the situation. If these people truely were warriors, they would know what a mandalorian would look like and could relate by having him at these talks.

Iniya listened to Grace's argument. She had to admit, the woman's words were very well chosen. She glanced at Olgar, who was looking at her as if asking for advice. She tilted her head and the chief, not saying anything, still wearing that smile. He turned back to Grace. "My people... it does grow quite dull out here, and they would not be unhappy at a chance to turn back to their roots, and fight once more. However, we do not wish to be too involved in politics, they lead to corruption of individuals which can lead to corruption of a government or even a planet," he said, thinking himself wise as he said the words Iniya had told him soon after she arrived. She turned her smile to Grace. How ironic, she thought, considering she, a Zeltron, was sitting on the chief's right, perhaps where she shouldn't be.

Olgar turned to Iniya again. "However, if my advisor, Iniya, could be an ambassador of some sorts..." he suggested, playing right into Iniya's hands. He had done all the work for her. She leaned back in her chair and smiled at Grace and her backup.

"Right."

He played the words back in his head, this felt fishy, no not only did it feel fishy it felt off, there were many open holes that didn't close quite correctly, his scrutinizing gaze rested on the Chief first then rotated to his entourage or rather what he proclaimed to be a Advisor, she looked more than out of place.

Sure Grace had intention to make a deal here but he banked on the fact that even she realized that something felt off and Tyr'din as someone with responsibility had to make sure that the Deals struck didn't bite them in the ass in the end.

He crossed his arms shaking his head briefly, his mind elevated to another defcon the more this stank the more he began monitoring those in the room and the exits out of said room whilst the feeling of dishonesty nagged him at the back of his head, it was a feeling he just couldn't shake and it bothered him it was almost like a sixth sense.

"We can offer you a plethora of benefits and services, we have a firm belief that we can change the conditions of any person if we endeavor to do so, if you desire a Ambassador then very well. I would see no problems with it and my Employer most likely not either."

He then slowly unfolded his arms to hook his thumbs along the loops of his belt as his visored gaze nestled directly on the Chief in question, he was studying him directly to see if any following answer was met with apprehension, he had the feeling someone was feeding him, and that can create problems if they dont know who.

Mae brought up a good point, the Zann Consortium tended to be excellent problem solvers. Though It's didn't seem like these people had a problem of the martial variety. Thankfully, the chief seemed to be pretty agreeable to her ideas of restoring their culture. There was a catch however, they wanted to stay out of politics, and requested that the mysterious Zeltron woman Inyia act as an ambassador for their people. That could be arranged.

Tyr'din would say as much, noting the Consortium's capabilities. Grace herself would give a nod before elaborating, "I can keep your people far from politics, if that's what you desire. If you wish for miss Iniya here to be your people's emissary, and speak for your interests, then I believe a proper partnership can be arranged."

She would then bring out a small holoprojector, revealing a projection of Pzob. "This planet recently came under our control. If you'd like, I would be more than willing to offer you land there."

Mae too was a little worried about the control that this Zeltron woman had over the chieftain. They had no idea she existed until she walked to his side earlier. What does she have to gain from this? Mae looked her up and down as the zeltron was put into a place or position of somewhat power within the fact that Grace was just trying to seal a deal. "What of her..." Mae was cut off as she leaned in to ask Grace of what the Zeltron had to gain out of this. Grace had just stated that a proper partnership could be arranged using the Zeltron, so it was probably already made up in her mind and she probably already had her eye on the Zeltron.

Mae cringed a little as Grace brought up Pzob and the holoprojector. Yes, they controlled the planet and there was land to give there, but for how long? They had taken the planet very easily and although taking it away from the consortium would be a much tougher process, it could be done. And what would happen to the relationship being forged here today would be in jeopardy if something like that did occur? All of these thoughts roared through her mind.

This was all Graces deal. She was only here to advise. She surely thought this through before she offered such a deal, Mae assured herself and sat back down, more relaxed, but still with her eyes on the Zeltron.
