The Galactic Bugle theme would blare over the holo channels, the images shown would be flashes previous jedi victories, a clearly holo-shopped image of Chief Hudson with a confused face, the ISC politicians entering the capitol building in Chaleydonia, then ended once more on a close up of the confused Chief Hudson.
As the theme ended, JJ blew out a perfect smoke ring. "Good morning Buglers! It's a great day here in the ISC! After only mere -hours- our political body managed to not only iron out what we needed to create a standing defense force, but they also promoted some people into some big spots! Governor @Lucas Rinn of Gyndine has been named Secretary of Defense and Governor @Julia Hipori of Lahsbane has been named Secretary of Intergalactic Affairs! Now my sources say that the two I just mentioned were playing a game of verbal patty cake, they also say that Governor @Soygun York of.. well, I don't even need to say because my Buglers already know the most charismatic Governor of the ISC! But he is also the Secretary of the Treasury! Ha-haa!" He would pause to take a puff from his cigar and blow out another perfect smoke ring.
"Now I know what these nancy nay-sayers from the Republic and F.W.A will say, 'JJ, ya only got five people in that room, of course it only took three hours!' And sure, we might, but those five people have done more than the five hundred in the big building on Coruscant! So take that!" he would shout out with a finger gun to the crowd. The cheers of the live audience could be heard and he just offered a big grin and took a sip from his scotch.
Cigar clamped back between teeth as he laughed a bit more. "But, comparing the effectiveness of our governmental bodies isn't what we're here for today folks!" at the 'what', he'd lightly slap his desk at each following word before laughing again. "You know why we're here Buglers! To Cancel the Chief!" the image of Hudson would pop up briefly causing JJ to laugh even harder. "Kriff, I love that picture. And I can say that, because I own the station!" He would rotate the cigar a bit before taking a pull and blowing out another perfect smoke ring.
"I'm just kidding, we don't need to push for it because he's going to get himself ousted! No, the real reason we're here, Buglers is this!" the images of various galas would flash. "The galaxy has two viruses, the Sith! And the AMS! Now, these Paja-er no, these Jedi, they are going out there and -finally- putting some real good back into the galaxy! That's right folks! Years of criticism got them in check! Now then, they want to do some fundraising for medical ships, and here right now, old JJ is going to donate one million to the efforts! But you can buy tickets to the galas on either Coruscant or Commenor to support some ventures and who knows! I may just be there! Haha! And even then Senator Sutton Rain of Commenor is pushing through some major changes to get the Republic back to respectable standings!"
He paused to take a long puff of his cigar, before blowing out three perfect smoke rings back to back to back. "There you have it Buglers! That's all we got time for!"
As the theme played for the outro, the image of Chief Hudson would appear once more with "#CanceltheChief".
