The TIE/mr space superiority fighter, better known as the TIE Murmur, was yet another product of the little-known Seinar-Tennix partnership and was designed for those adventurous starpilots who still admired the TIE line primarily used by the Old Empire and the First Order. It was also manufactured as an alternative to Seinar-Tennix's TIE Ranger starfighter, which was arguably less popular due to its clunky design, and is thus one of the few members of the TIE line designed for the open market without need of a specific military contract.
The TIE Murmur featured an elongated cockpit—reminiscent of the First Order's command shuttles or their TIE/vn space superiority fighters—instead of the typical ball cockpit design of most TIEs, as well as a wing configuration meant to summon the imagery of a TIE/IN interceptor. Like the TIE/rg starfighter, the TIE Murmur was equipped with a hyperdrive, light shields, a navicomputer, and an ejection seat. It also came with two medium laser cannons installed for combat purposes. However, the TIE Murmur was meant to be modified to its pilots specifications, and, thus, no two TIE Murmurs were often alike.
TIE Murmurs were mostly seen in the employ of planetary governments or splinter organizations with a reverence for the Old Empire or the First Order. They were also occasionally used by individual pilots with such fascination (or simply an appreciation for the TIE line) due to their affordability on the open market.
Restricted. TIE Murmurs are starfighters and are subject to extra licensing requirements and increased scrutiny due to being a member of the TIE line.
To reskin the TIE/rg starfighter using some cool un-used concept art I found of the TIE Silencer from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. And because I want a cool starfighter for my Knight of Ren.
No. TIE Murmurs are reasonably common, and are thus easy enough to buy, steal or otherwise acquire without special requirements.
