1. What is going to happen in your plot?
Jedi Master @Bruce Guleya is going to be making an attempt to make his candidacy for Jedi Council a little more attractive by making an effort to preserve Jedi knowledge and attempt to set the foundation to bolster the defenses of Tython's Jedi Temple now that it is back in the hands of the Jedi Order.
2. What other players will be a part of this?
No names are concrete, however:
@Cazar will be DMing at least one thread.
@Faded Truth maybe called upon to DM a thread as well
@Phoenix will possibly introduce his Jedi character (Azar Torsin)
@Loco will possibly bring Fennex into the mix as well.
@GABA will retroactively be involved with Eivor
And there will be at least one OPEN (to Jedi, limited number) thread.
3. Where are all the places (if more than one) that your plot will be taking place?
Tython & Tython Temple
Vandor-1 (Retroactively)
Ossus and the Great Library (In the form of a memory)
4. Please provide a basic in-character timeline of what you expect to happen.
The plot will start off with Bruce reliving a memory during the raid on Ossus' Great Library, during this time Bruce and company will be trying to salvage some of the critical Jedi Knowledge before it gets purged completely by the Sith (as we know will happen; this thread will be DM'd by Cazar presenting some no-name Sith troopers to slow the progress); the knowledge will be crated and loaded onto a shuttle for transport off world.
Bruce and Eivor will also stumble upon a village located on Vandor-1, the village will be isolated and home to a group of highly skilled technicians and engineers who are currently facing a crisis. After some discussion, the villagers will take Bruce up on the offer of finding a new home for them and they'll offer to put their technical expertise to use for the Jedi Order.
Bruce will return to the village mentioned above at a later date to fulfill his promise or to offer them hesitance as they come under attack by some rebels within their ranks who broke off from the time he originally visited them until today. While the attack is carried out, Bruce and company provide them a form of defense to help with the evacuation, upon completion of the evacuation Bruce takes the remaining members to Tython to help them set up a new home for themselves.
Once the technicians arrive on Tython they establish a small village just outside of the Jedi Temple and get to work on a Security Defense Centre for the temple - which will pave the way for future upgrades to the temple to prevent another tragedy and fall of the temple.
Once the work has been completed or at least begun on the Centre, Bruce will request a meeting with the Jedi Council to give them a mission report and indicate his intentions of joining them on the Council.
5. What do you or your character hope to achieve with this plot? What is the "end-game"?
I would like to see Bruce Guleya be considered to be a councillor within the order. In addition to this, I intend to be able to save some critical Jedi Knowledge that was safely protected on Ossus ranging from secrets of the Force to a record of Force Sensitive children and any Jedis who have put themselves into self-exile. In addition to all of this, I hope to be able to secure a group of highly skilled technicians (NPC) for the Jedi Order and with the construction of the 'Security Defense Centre' I hope to be able to allow for further faction plots like building a shield generator or blaster turrets. (The idea of the SDC is the allow potential improvements an interface to connect to)
6. Do you need any involvement of canon NPCs or faction leaders to be DMed by a staff member? If so, please detail who/what and for what purpose.
Yes.
I will require the aid of the council NPCs to be able to speak with them and present them with a mission report and announce Bruce's intentions of joining the council. This NPCs are free to question and grill the Jedi Master at the time and make their own decisions. Furthermore, while not necessary - there maybe a chance for the Temple Guards to make an appearance in the efforts of recovering parts of the library while under attack by the Sith.
