OOC: Death Enabled

The Eternal was working in its office on Sullust. The room was quite spartan, and yet it had a surprisingly cushy chair that the Eternal used when sitting at its desk. It had been going through dozens of reports on operations from across the galaxy. Some of its investigations were into its newest member of the Council while others were about the man it was soon to meet again.

It had yet to decide if this one was a problem or an asset, but either way, the fact that it was having to have this meeting left it in less than an outstanding mood. Its thoughts were interrupted by the buzzing of the intercom.

My lord, Lord Raze is here as requested, the droid said over the intercom.

The Eternal stopped moving for a moment, setting the datapad down in front of it on the desk.

Send him in, it said. Just outside the office, the droid would wave Raze inside.

The Eternal will see you now, it said, and the door slid open for Raze to enter.

Raze had been expecting this meeting ever since he began his political campaign as Emryc. He was adorned in the Kravos armor, and he even opted to put on the cape for an extra regal appearance this time. Two saber hilts were on his hip, clearly in view. His mind was a fortress as always, though this time it was just as tranquil beneath the layers of walls. He had meditated for hours before this meeting, finding himself in a place of calm balance before he arrived.

He said nothing in response to the droid, walking through the doors that opened. The visor of his helmet gazed towards the Eternal’s mask. Raze felt the dark aura that pulsated from the Eternal, and it was almost a suffocating, tangible presence in the room. Raze bowed in respect before the Eternal and he stood straight afterwards again. He towered over the Eternal by quite a bit, but the figure commanded far more strength by its mere presence.

Raze said nothing, reverting to his military training on the station. He would speak when addressed.

The Eternal stopped what it was doing as Raze bowed, looking up at him from its desk. He stood in silence, and there was a calmness to how he presented himself both within and outside.

It waved a hand and the door behind Raze closed. Whatever may happen, there was a certain wisdom in concealing what was discussed. The nature of Lord Raze's alter ego were not well known within the Order, nor would it be because of some door that had accidentally been left open.

Tell me about your work within the Senate, it said simply and coldly.

There was no explanation of what it wanted to know or why. Emryc had made it very far very quickly with his blooming government, and that meant he was far from stupid. He would have already known what this meeting was about and no doubt prepared for it. And yet, the Eternal gave him the chance to speak his piece.

Raze stood in silence for a moment. This was within character of him, and this time was no different. The helmet gazed forward, not tilting down to look down at the Eternal. He would offer the figure respect regardless of obvious challenges with them seeing eye to eye.

The words were uttered with a frosty tone, the Eternal’s voice always distorted and yet chilling in nature. The Sith Lord spoke after a moment, “Which aspect are you specifically referring to, my Lord? Nothing about the nature of my work has been obscured from view,” It was true - everything he did was on all media platforms. Raze wasn’t going to waste his own time with a once upon a time origin story when he could instead draw out exactly what the Eternal wanted to know.

Raze wanted tactical and pointed questions instead of allowing the Eternal to throw out open ended questions waiting for the Sith Lord to spill something.

The Eternal had half a mind to simply make him retell the whole story from the start and paused a beat before deciding. It would have been a move to exert power and influence, but ultimately pointless and a waste of everyone's time, wouldn't it?

Your intent, it said. Yes, the efforts were very public and very anti-Force user. It bordered on heresy, in fact, and was quite incompatible with the Sith in general. It made him appear as a potential rival, and the Eternal would not have that within its ranks.

He was rallying together worlds that could have been annexed into the Sith, and was unifying them in opposition to that. In fact, just the thought of it made the Eternal angrier, but Emryc was no fool. It hoped that he had a plan and intent that was something more than a betrayal of the Sith. He would be a valuable asset to lose, and the Eternal wasn't stupid enough to throw away an asset without thought.
