DESCRIPTION
The Tex Mechanica 357 (TM-357) is a model of blaster pistol produced by Tex Mechanica Armaments, a relatively selective arms manufacturer of pistols and rifles and more. The company is devoted to arming bounty hunters and Sector Rangers and other colorful characters. The TM-357 stands out as Tex Mechanica's brand pistol that puts a face to the name, and can most definitely put a hole in a person's face.

Initially developed to rival BlasTech Industries' RSKF-44 heavy blaster pistol, the TM-357 has come to stand on its own handle, offering versatile handling with either variant, preserving a balance of damage and accuracy.

Two variants of the pistol exist from retail or by modification, catalogued as "TM-357 Heavy Blaster Pistol" or "TM-357 Medium Blaster Pistol": a heavy-damage version without a stun setting or a medium-power version with a stun setting. Both variants cannot be combined, ensuring a tradeoff for greater damage without stun capability or medium damage with stun capability.

Whatever the variant, the TM-357 is no less of a beast. The ammunition in either case is side-loading, and the gun has the ability to mount an image magnifying macroscope on the rail for long range shots. While engravings to the gun may vary, anyone who wields a TM-357 blaster pistol is essentially making the same statement: "I walk tall and carry a big gun."

LEGALITY
Legal.
Carrying the heavy-damage variant may raise some eyebrows, namely if the gun is seen in action, given the damage impact. This variant has quite a bang and a kick to it, enough to make a witness wary.

INTENT
To create a big gun.
A good choice for space western characters, what you might call cowboys and cowgirls.
Inspiration taken, in part, from the Star Wars canon RSKF-44.
Overall reskin of the DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol and DG-7 Heavy Blaster Pistol.

RESTRICTIONS
No restrictions. Tex Mechanica Armaments typically deals with a customer base of law enforcers, Sector Rangers, bounty hunters, mercenaries and such. Though, while not catering to criminals outright, it is feasible for anyone, even the average citizen, to get their hands on one somehow.
