APPEARANCE:
Toki stands at a tall 6’4” and has a slim, athletic body type, weighing in at roughly 195 pounds. Despite his imposing height, he doesn’t come across as intimidating due to his general kind, warm demeanor and body language. Being a Lepi, he has long, lop ears, and his coat of fur is a soothing, pearl white color. The fur along his head is long, and often tied back into a low ponytail. His eyes are a striking blue, contrasted nicely by his fur coloration. He has a scar along the left side of his mouth from an event in his past.

ATTRIBUTES:
Toki has a deep amount of empathy, which could serve as a double edged sword. He connects with and attempts to understand people to the best of his abilities, but it leaves him vulnerable to being emotionally scarred if something terrible happens to others. He’s very analytical and picks up on the basic concepts of something quickly, and he enjoys learning at every opportunity. While he’s physically not the strongest around, he’s swift on his feet and possesses good reflexes, making him well suited to styles and abilities that require more finesse and precision. His height and long limbs give him the advantage of reach as well. He tends to push himself to his limits more often than not, which could prove dangerous if he overextends at the wrong moment, something he desperately wants to fix about himself.
Despite his outwardly timid nature, Toki is strong-willed and is unlikely to ever fall to the temptations of the Dark Side. He doesn’t feel angry or disgusted with the Dark Side and its practitioners, he more feels a sense of remorse and pity for them for whatever circumstances might have led them to resort to such things. This does lead to him being more willing to talk things out, but may also leave him open to surprise attacks. Even though he tries his best to improve his skills, he struggles with self-doubt and worries that he’s extremely insignificant in the grand scheme of things. When push comes to shove, however, he won’t hesitate to do what he feels is right. Unless insisted upon, he typically doesn’t like to accept rewards for his efforts since he mostly wants to ensure people are safe and at peace.
PERSONALITY:
At first glance, it seems that Toki is not the sort of person who should be in the middle of a galactic conflict. He’s timid and shy, but there’s a certain strength of will within him. He strives for peace and non-violent solutions to problems, but also has an integrity that lets him take a stand when he must. Kind-hearted and altruistic, he wants the ability to assist the people he comes across to make even one person’s life in the galaxy better. Some say he can be too nice for his own good, oftentimes rejecting rewards unless insisted upon and trying his best to give everyone the benefit of the doubt before making a judgement. While he might be reserved, he warms up and becomes more talkative with people he feels comfortable with. He believes that power without integrity is no different from weakness and that power should be used to defend and nurture those without. It’s a dream of his to be an inspiration to at least a few people, but his struggles with self-worth prevent him from openly admitting to such things. Though he strives for peaceful solutions, he carries himself with a confidence and grace in battle that otherwise isn’t seen, though he has a long way to go still before he can consider himself skilled, as he has a tendency to overwork and overextend himself.
In his off time, Toki enjoys writing, art, calligraphy, and music. He finds the act of creating and reacting to creative works a relaxing and mentally fulfilling passtime and is always eager to talk about new styles and work. It’s a fantastic way to get him out of his shell and brighten his day. Always willing to learn, he also finds joy in attending a variety of lessons to strengthen his understanding of history, lightsaber combat, and the Force in a variety of ways. He does his best to pay attention, but tends to slip into a bit of a depression if he can’t grasp something immediately. One day he hopes to grow out of that mindset, but it’s a constant struggle for him. “To take the steps up the mountain of mastery…” is what he mutters to himself to calm himself down and push him to continue onwards.
BIOGRAPHY:
Throughout his life, Toki had considered himself pretty ordinary by many standards. He was intelligent, for sure, but didn’t enjoy lording over people about it. He just wanted to live a comfortable life and use what he knew to eventually help others grow, to find their own passions and strengths. However, when he discovered his Force sensitivity, he was honestly frightened. He didn’t know what to do with this kind of ability, but he certainly didn’t want the Sith after him, his family, and his home planet. As such, he made the difficult decision to say goodbye to his friends and family to go train with the Jedi. One day he may return, but only once he feels like he has mastery over his abilities. It was painful to leave them, but it was better than the alternative of his home being razed to the ground. He promised himself he would use his powers responsibly and use them for the betterment of the galaxy at large.
