Towards a Better Path!
The Imperial Republica has shown a disgusting amount of disdain for the Kaggath results, and show no signs of coming about. Well the time has come to ensure they abide by the results of their own challenge and come under the wing of the True Sith. As such we shall strike at the heart of their Empire and end this, taking Coruscant in one swift move. Sending forces ahead to clear the way, we shall force a fleet into their core and make them surrender. Together then, we can face our true enemies as one Empire and finish the work of our ancestors.
Missions
1. ASK-The Battle Awaits: Our forces shall congregate on Null in preparation for this attack,a grand gathering of ships and Sith. This shall effectively function as an open thread for any OE to join if they wish, detailing their arrival to the gathering and whatever forces they may have brought. However, you cannot join if you are participating in any of the three threads below and vice versa.
2. OPEN/PVP-Ship Scuttling: Corsin, the first world our fleets plan to use as a jumping point, is guarded extensively by IR forces. The keystone of this defense is a frigate currently stationed there. We have prepared disguises in the form of a maintenance crew and temporary access codes. 3. OPEN/PVP-Speak Softly: Datar, our next jump point, is said to have a governor sympathetic to our cause. We have arranged a meeting for you to discuss this with him, though he knows nothing of the coming storm. Convince him to support us fully and allow safe and silent passage as we pass overhead. 4. OPEN/PVP-Only Static: Palanhi, our final pitstop before glory. Deep in the IR and so close to our final goal, we cannot risk any word getting out. Take a team and infiltrate the planet's workings. 5. ASK/Staff DM-Carry a Big Stick: Upon arrival to Coruscant, we shall regrettably explore the more diplomatic option at first. Darth Vrael shall personally contact IR leadership on the world to negotiate their official surrender and folding into the Old Empire. Hopefully the new fleet stationed above them will help ease any concerns they have about realizing their place. @Darth Vrael FULL
6. OPEN/PVP-Battle for Coruscant: In the event that the talks go poorly and IR leadership do not see reason, we shall commence a full scale assault on the world. Teams will be sent down to the surface to begin ground operations and secure important points. One of these, led by Vrael himself, will take the palace and throne of the Imperial Republica. OOC NOTES:
- Yup, this is an unification faction plot. Please remember the relevant rules and new plot updates for these threads and lets give it our all friends!
- These missions are NOT first come first serve. You can list a preference of course, but I will be shifting people around to ensure each of the three PvP missions are staffed evenly.
- Missions 1 will not be needing any signups as it will be open for all OE Sith to enjoy. Like a social thread, except you'll be preparing for big battles and stuff. Mission 5 shall also not be needing any sign ups.
- Mission 6 is not a done deal, and its start hinges upon how other threads progress. Feel free to sign up for it, but if you REALLY want a mission thread then it might be best to choose a different one.
- As of now, I am opening up these sign ups to IR PCs who wish to make contact with the assault efforts and help the missions progress. Doing so will help your character avoid any unpleasant aftereffects should the unification proceed and effectively forgive your past sins!
