Having just gotten back that night from that insane mission to investigate a zoo gone wrong. Arador was hoping that his little extended absense had gone unnoticed. Chances of that are low. But the boy still hoped that Alek hadn't noticed the boy was no where on the temple grounds.

Though he did have to admit that going was beneficial since he was able to hone in on his skills to a better level at least. And he gained some new friends along with a companion. The boy looked down at the sleeping vulptex pup he named Aputsiak. He didn't think anyone has noticed that the pup is his since the boy took all the unused corridors to get from his room to outside the temple. Along with all the unused trails to get to the field Alek used to train him. So he doubted anyone noticed the pair.

Taking a break from the small game of hide and seek with the pup, using the game to hone his force sight and hearing, Arador ran his hand through the pup's crystaline fur before standing up. Stretching his arms over his head the teenager glanced around to see if anyone was coming for him. Since there is no sign of Alek yet, Arador began to wonder if his mentor had gone off on a mission of his own. Not knowing that the jedi have been branded outsiders.

Dropping his arms down to his sides the boy decided to take a little walk by the river. As soon as she heard his footsteps moving away Aputsiak got up and followed the boy. Arador came to a stop at a part of the river where the water was at it's steadiest, letting the river wash away the fear, and anger he felt during the mission. Sitting down on a fallen log, the blind teenager watched the water flow and the crystal wolf trying to catch the fish that are just too quick for her with what little he can see with his natural eyesight.

Alek had been off world for a short time to take care of a few things but had come back for a meeting with an unexpected contact. After of which he searched the planet for his apprentice having run off, Alek was left to help others leave then search himself. All day this went on, lucky not to be found by any republic troops. He had helped the Jedi and had stopped sith from getting dangerous gear in the days he was off world. The night was calm and Alek found himself again going back to the temple. He sat on the steps not sure what to do his head going a thousand miles an hour with possibly all things of what might have happened. Then he felt it, the force in sort of a fluctuating way, no other force users where in that area but this had to be someone from the order. Alek began to walk, in a way being led to somthing. For a while he walked aimlessly then coming to a clearing he saw a river, slow calm. Then he heard a voice in his head one that had not spoken for months, the one once tainted within the darkness now became a figure in front of him who seemed to be there but not really, just a manifestation of the force a soft white glow surrounding the figure who was it? It was a childhood friend a girl by the name Rose she spoke in a soft voice as she appears the same age as Alek. “Hello again Silly Jedi what are you doing?” Somthing she loved to call him at his start of being a Jedi as a tease Alek spoke “I’ve lost somthing, well some one and I fear the worst.” She motioned him to follow and they walked the river, Alek knew not why she was in this form, she had passed some time ago and became one with the force and instead of move on she spoke to him ever so often. He didn’t know if this ghost was real or part of his imagination but he did not question it “This person is close to you? As I was to you?” Alek nodded she knew him well “A young one under your instruction, but a trouble maker?” Alek replied “Yes he had run off and now the Jedi are outlawed here so I worry for him rose you can understand.” She chucked “Alek in the entire time I knew you, you were the one causing trouble. He is no different than you the same curious, fearless, and smart boy you were.” Alek looks around as he listens then replied “The same as me when I was that age. That’s what worries me I always put myself in situations that were nothing but trouble.” Rose stoped and looked back to him “But you were smart, you lived through it all, that scar under your right eye is proof, don’t worry he is smart to, you can only teach him what he needs to know. Once you do that he’ll now what to do same as you when you left our little planet for the order.” Alek spoke but very simpathetic “Some times I wish I had stayed to keep you safe, I can’t remember how you died but I know it was my fault.” She smiles and comes close the ghostly figure is inches away from him “You have done enough for me don’t ever forget that, you can do things now to protect so many, so go and do what you were put here to do. Your real path is waiting Silly Jedi.” She fades and the white glow fades as well he looked around knowing she is gone, but stops his gaze to a log upon it a boy, the boy? The path the force had put him on. He smiled as he then slowly walked tward Arador he was slightly mad but more so relived he was safe. He stepped until he was near the log and stopped Arador looked in his direction so Alek asked “So where has my young apprentice been?” He then asked Alek how he knew where he was “She knew.” This statement would confuse the boy but Alek continued “There is much we have to discuss Arador.” He sat on the log next to him “But” Alek May be his master but he was none the less a playful 22 year old, just a big kid as well he nudged Aradors shoulder as a tiny piece of payback for the scare “I must first know where you ran off to.” The he sat there with a smile as the current events waiting to hear the tale.

Arador continued to watch the pup play in the water. As well as watch tge river itself. But when the pup started to wonder a bit too deep, the teenager ran over and grabbed his little companion. Walking back over to the log he sat diwn and placed Aputsiak on his lap. He stroked her crystaline fur gently as she fell asleep.

He continued to watch the river until Alek came into view. He froze as Arador knew that he is in trouble for running off. Not a simple run off to the park but completely off world. But what also confused the boy was how his master knew where the teenager was. But before asking the blind teenager was told that she knew. Who was she exactly though? But then the boy's mentor asked him where he was all this time. Oh boy. How exactly will he explain this adventure he had?

He had half expected Alek to give him a good whack for running off, not knowing how worried the jedi was while looking for the teenager. So the playful nudge was not quite expected. The teenager looked a little confused and worried when told that there is a lot to discuss. But knew he better tell Alek where he was all this time. Taking a deep breath Arador gathered his thoughts, "I was going past one of the briefing rooms. I um.. Heard them explain about a zoo filled with the most dangerous creatures from all over the galaxy. And how there was a distress signal coming from the place stating that the animals somehow escaped and that people were trapped.. Injured or killed. Tynian volunteered but no one volunteered to go with him. So I offered to go and was given permission to go. So all this time I was at this zoo helping.. I hope to never have to see anything like that again.." The boy explained, "I found this vulptex while I was there.. And there were a few people that were still alive... So many were killed though it was like a living nightmare. I wanted to go help get those people out of there Alek. Please forgive me. I won't run off like that again." The boy paused, "Well... Not run off to that degree at least." He said jokingly as he realized that it will be impossible not to behave like a typical boy, "But the trip was beneficial as I was able to hone in on my force sight and hearing a bit more.. And I made a few new friends and this little pup. She has refused to leave me ever since I found her."

Arador looked to Alek when he sensed how worried his mentor was the entire time. Along with how frantically the man was looming for the blind teenager. He doubted that it was not all due to him running off. There has to be more to it. Perhaps part of the reason will reveal why the temple halls were so empty.

Alek had taken in the information, and processed what his apprentice was saying, he then spoke again “I can’t say I’m happy about the whole thing but it seemed to be beneficial in a way. I can sense a growth in your abilities and that’s good, your training is now needing to be sped up due to recent events I’m afraid.” Alek sighed he knew what that was like, still remembering his mentors lessons beat into him and a constant thing about him, until he could prove otherwise. “If you have noticed, the temple seems barren, or empty. The fact of it is that that is exactly what it is, I help the last few Jedi leave this morning. I would have left to but that was halted by a certain someone’s adventure but the republics senate thinks us Jedi as a threat, and now we are all outlawed in republic space, the punishment for breaking these laws are death no debate. They are to kill us on sight basically, that is why I stayed to look for you. I’m not mad because you couldn’t have known, and you were doing the right thing to help. You may be young but like all Jedi when we were your age we had to grow up fast in order to help.” He paused “I know you may not like to see or do somthing like that. But I’ll be honest when I say that is just a part of life in these trying times, this galaxy has become that of which if you do not fight you will die. A lesson my mentor put heavily into me, so we must be ready to do the tasks ahead of us head on.” Alek looked around knowing this had to be said sooner or later “The galaxy is at war Arador and all this reeks of sith corruption, I’m strong but I will not be around to protect you forever, I know you can handle yourself to an extent, but there’s things I’ve seen done and experienced that I’m glad my mentor passed on to me before he was struck down in battle by a sith it helped me survive things I couldn’t even imagine.” He looked to the boy as he stood up “being a Jedi is different then what it is now, we must changed a bit to adapt to this. If your serious on that you want to be a Jedi knight then let me know and we can get started here. Before we leave the temple in empty and has already been searched so we can train a bit there and leave in a while.” But Alek added this option as well “If you don’t want to I’ll help any way I can to get you off world to where you want to go, I will accept anything you choose. Just know the training will not be easy, my master did the same to me but when I was done I came out a formidable warrior and a skilled force user but the choice is yours Arador.” He waited for a response knowing it was a lot to take in. Alek hoped rose was right when she spoke of Arador being like him, and Alek was ready to train him fully when and if he was ready to do so.

Arador listened to Alek as the man spoke after taking in what the teemager told him. Yes he is pleased to see how much he has grown in his abilities. But he was still not happy about the whole thing. Why is that? Yeah he ran off but he came back in one piece so what is the big deal? Arador wondered. He blinked in confusion when his mentor said that his training needs to be sped up due to recent events. What recent events? What happened while he was off on his little adventure? The boy listened closely. Wait the senate labeled the jedi as outlaws? That is insane! What have the jedi done to deserve such a label and unfair treatment?

The teenager though still thinking that his little adventure had some benefits. But now he is starting to understand why Alek stayed behind when he could have just as easily left, as well as why he is upset about the teenager leaving. The blind teenager now started to see where he went wrong. He should have been here instead of running off. So while Alek was helping getting jedi off the planet he had a peace of mind knowing that Arador is safe and just training as he should have been. Buf no..he ran off and made Alek worry. If the galaxy really is marching towards war, then Alek really was worrying the entire time. Arador then realized that now he had to grow up if he is going to survive. No more running off or acting like a child. No more of that. It was also the gist of what his mentor is saying.

It seemed that Arador has now joined the Jedi Order at the most desprite, tense time for the Order and the galaxy since the whole thing smelled of Sith activity. The teenager looked up at Alek as the man seemed to have finished up his lecturing. The boy had a lot on his mind but one thing for sure the boy was not thinking about abandoning the order to save his own skin. If the Sith are behind it all then they may start hunting down the jedi one by one. With now the Sith and Republic after the jedi.. He is already pretty much dead. And besides that, he has no where to go.

Placing the wolf pup on the log. The boy stood up, looking Alek in the eyes, "Ani. I am going to stay and train. Even if I must learn and train differently then I will. I have no doubt that the Sith are behind it all, this may be the first step. Who knows what they will do next. Either way with the Hutt and the Republic seeming to be getting closer to an alliance with the Sith.. Protection for those who can't defend themselves is needed more now. Even if it must be done differently. The Force had this path set this path for me for that very reason. No.matter how difficult or dangerous. I will not get off the path."

He knew that now the path he is going to be a lot harder. More dangerous. But none of that is not, will not, make him think of abandoning the course he has taken. Plus he has started to see Alek as an older brother and doesn't want to leave his side.

Alek was glad Arador wanted to stay, people like him would be the reason the Jedi survived. He began to walk with his apprentice and his new pet “well let’s get off world, somewhere we can train away from people for a little then once we do we can help the order more.”

Time Skip: Now on remote jungle planet with small Jedi base.

Alek had been training Arador hard for a few weeks, sparing as well as control over the force. Today was no different, another day of combat training, Alek exchanges blows with wooden staffs with Arador, he was young but catching on quick. But of course the older Jedi liked to knock him around a little, swiping tward Aradors right then elbowing him in the chest to knock him to a sitting position. “Again, you can’t afford to loose your balance.” He said in a mellow but serious tone. He stood and they went at each other again Alek this time thrusting forward to poke Arador with his staff to see how the young one would react.

The moment that they arrived at the small temple on some heavily forested, jungle planet a few weeks ago, Alek had been training Arador hard. It was no easy training either. At first the boy had a tough time keeping up with the older jedi. But eith being a quick learner the teenager caught on quickly. But there are still areas where he can use some improvement. One of them showing when he moved to block his mentor's strike only to be knocked back to a sitting position for the fifth time that day with a elbow to the chest.

Looking up at his mentor and Ori'vod, the teenager nodded. Getting back onto his feet the boy immediately sprang into action to block blows and try to land a blow or two. Seeing Alek thrust his staff forward the teen ducked out of the way, striking at Alek's legs with a swipe to the left, with his left leg coming up to kick him in the gut.

A quick reaction to be sure, but Alek had trained for years for his skill, blocking the staff blow to his left with his staff, Arador had become a bit more physically strong since the training began. But Alek saw the kick, using the force to dash backward to create space. He stood and spoke “We may be fierce fighters, but never underestimate the power of creating space. To become stronger in a fight, look for the opponents weakness, as force users and Jedi we must be able to sense anything we can to be ready for an opponent.” Alek then snapped the long bow staff into two smaller pieces, one for each hand “Lets see of how you do when the fight changes.” Alek then tries to throw multiple strikes with both halves of his weapon to see again the reaction of the young knight. Again a lesson he was taught and now was teaching, fingering wasn’t fair on any level so you must throw that mind set out to reach a full mastery of combat.

Arador had thought that the assault would have worked, or at least one of his moves landing. Forgetting that Alek has trained far longer than what the teenager has. That was proven wrong when his mentor blocked his staff and used the force to get out of range of his kick. Again finding himself heading to the ground, but put his freehand onto the ground and pushed himself back onto his feet.

The boy watched Alek snap his staff into two pieces, one for each hand. So he is changing the fight again already. Arador paused thinking thoroughly this time as he studied the staves in his brother's hands, along with his posture. Along with what he can see the boy was matching it with his force hearing to predict what Alek was going to do. And so think up a solution based on what he predicted.

Gripping his staff somewhat tightly in his hands the boy charged at Alek, using the force to boost his speed. But before making contact Arador suddenly cut to the right. Digging one end of the staff into the ground to lift himself off the ground and flip over to be behind Alek. The motion breaking his own staff into two, he swung one at Alek to test his defenses then used speed to try to put a small distance between the two before Alek lands a hit.

A flip? Clever in Aleks mind, a few blocked hits before making space again had Alek thinking. “Now your starting to see, my fighting style allows me to offensively overwhelm my enemy, but lacks the defensive aspect but don’t forget not only do you have this to think of, you must also worry about if your opponent can use the force!” The sends a quick force push Aradors way, if Aleks younger counter part doged it, he would still have time to make another attack to Alek, if not he would be be lightly pushed back. As Alek did not want to throw him to far.

Arador was indeed starting to finally see Alek's combat abilities. But he was not quite there to thinking ahead. But it didn't mean that Arador was not able to quickly think a step ahead.

Seeing and feeling that his mentor has sent a force push his way. The boy seemed to move to get out of the way, clipping the edge of the push used it to speed himself up a tad bit more as he once again used force speed to get around Alek. Moving to Alek's right he tried used his left hand to use force push to keep the man's staves away from him and his right to land a blow to his lower back.

Alek felt the push, this was smart to him it would allow for an opening for Arador. The blow to his lower back would hit. He felt it a solid blow but not enough to disable him, but now Arador was close Alek would take the moment. Seeing as Arador was right behind him Alek threw a leg back to try sweep the boy off his feet, if it worked Alek would the pin the boy on the ground, though this could be avoided.

Arador yelped a bit as Alek sweeped his feet out from under him. The teenager found himself on the ground. Rapidly going through his options he used the force to push himself out of the way of Alek's attempt to pin him. The draw back was that he will be in easy reach of his mentor enough to allow another attempt to pin the boy. Due to him not thinking through enough.

He swepted the boys feet, but the smaller boy was slippery so he escaped Aleks grasp, but Alek attempted to grab him again “Come back here, you don’t get out of this that easy.” As the boys now wrestled in the training grounds going back and fourth to see who could pin who.

Arador yelped and laughed a bit when Alek managed to grab him. The martial arts turning into a wrestling match. The blind teenager flipped himself onto his back to face his brother, "Who said I was trying to get away?" He asked half sarcastically as he attempted to pin Alek though wrestling is his big weakness since he is not as strojg as the older jedi.

Alek finally pinned Arador, holding him down until he finally let him up. Alek helped him up and let out a chuckle, “Well I win again, but you are getting better I feel bad for your next opponent.” He smiled and rubbed the young boys head “Won’t be long until you join me in my missions on the battlefield. I look forward to making you a full knight of the order.” He then waits to see what Arador has to say. He wasn’t just a student he was family to him now, Alek had no family since they were all murdered so he kept a watchful eye on him wanting nothing but the best for him.

Arador was not surprised that Alek won the wrestling match as the jedi pinned the teenager to the ground. After a moment of holding him down his brother helped the boy to his feet as he chuckled. The blind teenager let out a chuckle of his own, "Yeah you win. I will get you next time though." Arador laughed, "Yeah just don't go setting the match up with a wookie again." He teased playfully as he remembered the one time Alek set up a wrestling match with a wookie that aas close to Arador's size. Though the wookie still won.

The boy laughed as Alek ruffled his hair, "I can't wait for that day to come. I want to be there with you Ori'vod.. As a knight." The teenager then tackled Alek in a playful attempt to get the jedi to the ground. Though the last time he did this same thing still ended with the boy pinned to the ground or with his head pinned between Alek's arm and torso. It didn't stop the boy from trying though.

Alek laughed “I should have known to, I had a student before you who was a Wookiee.” Then surprised by Arador begins somewhat tackled Alek fell. Once they were done Alek sat up “Arador have we gotten around to you making a lightsaber of your own?” He asked forgetting all about that since recent events and training.

"Oh you did? Then why didn't you remember the difference between a boy and wookie at my age?" The boy questioned before he tackled Alek, grinning when he finally managed to get the jedi on the ground, "Woo! Got you this time. One point for ke and fifty nine more to go to get even." He chirped as he sat up, plopping on the forest floor, "Um.." Arador pondered not remembering if they got around to him constructing his own lightsaber, "No we didn't get around to that." He said as the teenager realized how much the two focused on training.

Alek stood up now, “than that is your next trial, one that will really test all you have learned. I won’t lie it’s harder then you think, I thought it was going to be easy but I found otherwise really fast. But I have my two sabers to show for it.” There’s places here we can search but we can always travel it’s up to you it’s your trial.”
