this is a full-frontal surprise assault on the slaver's main base of operations. It appears their main base is an old Lucrehulk cargo freighter that has been modified inside to accomodate slaves at the expense of the ship's capacity to hold fighters.

MAIN OBJECTIVE:
Board the ship, free the slaves and send a message to slavers within the area; execute all slavers.

SIDE OBJECTIVE:
Set the ship to self-destruct.

Time: 1200

Location: Outer Rim Space, Bes'bavar Class Combat Carrier

Once more paths had crossed, this time on a endeavor in mutual interest, Van'Aria and Arthos have been keeping up in speed with the Crusade aiding various expeditions and forays individually and they once more endeavored to keep up said pace, this time would be to at last crack down on a Lucrehulk Slave Hauler that they identified on a routine flight through Outer Rim Space.

This time... the Slavers would not get off easily. Both respective figures of Clan Vizla and Solus put in a request for the same Combat Carrier that they had used during their liberation of Utapau, it served them well and with the reasoning of the Mission backing them it wouldn't be a large problem to get a hold of the Carrier again.

Giving Arthos the liberty to organize and rally the troops on his arrival she split responsibilities with trust that he wouldn't object, Van'Aria had been idly preparing a Plan on a Holotable that was setup in one of the many isolated rooms adjacent to the main Hangars, a briefing room, much alike any other.

They were only a Jump away from their target and this intentionally, they wanted to use the element of surprise to their full advantage, seeing a Carrier jump into range out of nowhere was enough to rattle even the fiercest of Pirates, especially if it was a Mandalorian Carrier.

"Tark. Check if Arthos is here yet. And make sure that the others know the Briefing is about to start."

<"Will do.">

She gestured for her Vod to take a post outside in hopes that he would spot Arthos and the rest she awaited but she did not put much faith into it, shaking her head briefly she pulled up possible routes of attack for the Carrier, they would use the swarm of ships they were carrying to overwhelm the Lucrehulk in mass, attack from all angles in one swift blitz.

Other Clansmen of her had already gathered in the Briefing Room but she did not bother starting the Briefing as of yet, she would respect those yet missing until they arrived, that was simply the way she was, even if others might grow impatient she showed naught of it, her grip firm on the Vibro-Ax she carried with her she stood there, steadfast staring at the entrance, awaiting the arrival of her brothers and sisters.

<"We squander prec-">

"We will wait."

She stated unwavering, she had trust in Arthos being on time and if not he had good reasons to be late she was the last to judge him and whomever he brought with him, if one thing was for certain, Arthos had a knack for choosing the right people for the right job but she was as of yet unsure if he was fully prepared to take all of the responsibilities weighing on him.

With the heavy thud of armored footfalls, Jado came jogging down the metallic hallway of the carrier. Having disappointed his battle sister and armorer so many times with the sorry state of his armor, he'd spent some extra time during the morning to buff and polish it into a presentable state. Unfortunately, he didn't usually tend to his armor himself, so he hadn't known to set aside enough time for the chore. Though he was running late, at least his armor looked immaculate; for once by his own hand.

As he rounded the corner of another hallway, he spotted the entrance to the briefing room and stopped to catch his breath. This had been his first time on a Mandalorian ship this large, and quite honestly it was exciting to be launching an offensive from such a beast. He wasn't much of an engineer, but he came to appreciate the forms and configurations of starships, especially after having spent a number of years repairing their paneling. His composure now regained, Jado marched towards the briefing room, red cape billowing lightly behind him.

With downward head nods at the various Mandalorian brothers and sisters near the entrance, he stepped through the threshold and saw Van'Aria Solus waiting over a holotable. He put a fist to his chest in a salute and addressed her. "Sorry if I'm late. I lost track of time." he offered without excuse before posting up near the holotable where he'd still be able to see and hear. He was absolutely ecstatic about their mission today, most especially the kill order. Having spent the majority of his life as a slave, he'd made it his personal mission to rid the galaxy of as many slavers as possible once he became a Mandalorian. His vision slowly blurred as he lost focus on the holotable in front of him and daydreamt of the coming clash.

Arthos Vizsla stormed into the briefing room.

He had, indeed, been here already. The carrier was assigned to him, after all, and his missions to secure the addition of two new members of the Mandalorian protectorate. Client states that needed tending to, assurances that needed to be given. He had been on the bridge, addressing leadership of both the Telos and Carosi governments and the concerns they had going forward.

Marching past the Solus clan member stationed at the door, he didn't give the vod time to go ahead of him as a warning and thus was perfectly able to hear the Solus clan member complain, even if Van'Aria immediately moved to shut them down.

He offered no excuses as he moved to stand at the planning table.

He just began.

"We have thirteen Prelaar Bombers, thirteen Osprey Interceptors, twenty six Jai'gaalar starfighters and six kotir gunships. I'm not going to micro-manage you, find a ship that suits you."
he demanded of the room bluntly, "I will be commanding a gunship and inserting near the bridge with one other gunship. It is our job to eliminate the command staff and assume control of the ship."

He gestured to the side 'arms' of the enemy ship.

"The other four will breach along the arms of the ship - people on those ships, your job is to secure the slaves and kill anyone not in bondage."

Arthos looked around the room at the assembled Mandalorians.

"Are there any questions?"

His tone suggested he expected there to be none but he was ready to answer any that came.

For once in her life, Vidha had arrived early. She stood in the back behind her sister, watching the others as they came in. She knew Arthos Van'Aria already, but the new guy, Jado she thought his name was, she didn't know. He arrived right before Arthos.

Vidha tapped her foot anxiously, her arms crossed over her chest plate. She could not wait to get started. The Mandalorians were suddenly in action again, punishing slave-holders and slave traders. She felt glad. Anyone who had slaves deserved to die a long and painful death.

When Arthos asked for questions, Vidha remained still. A smile crept upon her hidden face. Following orders, she could do. Sitting around, not so much.

"Veren, Vidha. We need a diversified portfolio, I elect both of you to get into those Arms and release all that you can find, if you are hard pressed you let us know."

She looked to Arthos giving him a brief nod, he needed not to clarify she had her own planning already done, she then turned to Vidha and Jado, this was a Mission that required precision without hesitation, she was confident that they could perform but she had seen Vidha hesitate once before already and was uncertain if she would hesitate again.

"I will be forming a auxillary wildcard. I will insert with the second Gunship accompanying Arthos and then head inwards from the Bridge."

She explained gesturing along the Table before nodding to each party that was present, shortly afterwards she looked directly at Arthos.

"I will buy you your time to assume full control of the Ship, but don't expect a permanent assist, I will be flowing from tide to tide to keep us informed."

She then shut off the planning Table and knocked her Vibro-Ax twice on the Floor, things were beginning to move like a well oiled machine, with planning out of the Way the Mandalorian War Machine got to work, Van'Aria being among the first to vacate the briefing room however likely closely followed by Arthos, someone who had always been someone that didn't saunter nor waste time.

Her Path led directly to a predesignated Gunship that a Solus Clansman was already in the works of firing up however it did not depart yet, it waited for Arthos to fire up its own to guide them into battle.

The other Mandalorians were expected to follow suite, there were no directions, no orders, all that needed to be said was said now it was time to execute and those that would spend too long figuring out where their role in this attack lied were left behind.

And just like that, the briefing was complete and the Mandalorians were abuzz getting to their stations. The clangor of armor bustling through the carrier's halls rumbled like distant thunder; a coming storm to bring swift vengeance to slaver scum. Joining into the foray was Jado, now jogging to the hangers to take his pick of ship. He knew the arsenal they were carrying and already had his heart set on one of the Prelaar Starbombers, figuring it to be most similar to his G-1A in terms of size and maneuverability. It would certainly pack a heavier punch, which Jado looked forward to testing.

He climbed an unmarked Prelaar and strapped himself into the cockpit, while another Mandalorian climbed into the co-pilot's seat with a silent nod. With switches flipped and a few button presses, the ship engines roared to life as it assumed an idle hover over the platform. Jado enjoyed the sleek profile of the bomber compared to his own ship, both interior and exterior. The bomber was far newer and obviously well-maintained; more than he could say about his own. As the hanger doors successively slammed open and the ambush commenced, Jado opened up the throttle and shot out into space towards their prey.

The massive freighter was fairly close and already being pummeled by the Mandalorian carrier's turbolasers, though their shields were still holding up for the time being. Those shields wouldn't last long, however, against a concerted Mandalorian assault. This is what the Mandalorian people lived and trained to do, and did it better than anyone else in the galaxy. Jado watched the ship grow through the transparisteel between them with growing anticipation, steady hands ready to deliver proton torpedoes when the distance closed.

It took a lot to get under Arthos' skin - he had been looked down on by certain members of his clan members and his adopted mother for years. They had taken ever chance they had to belittle his accomplishments and undermine anything he actually said. He had worked hard to work his way out of that, proving himself first as a bounty hunter, then as a crusader and now as a Rally Master.

And still there were people who thought they could direct him... why? Because he was younger? Because of their own self importance? He waited until they were apart from Jado and Vidha, just before boarding their ships, before speaking, making sure she was close enough to hear him.

"Van'Aria."

He stared at the Solus warrior across the short distance.

"You do not command here."
he reminded her bluntly, "I do. If you want to try and assume control, get your shit together and try and take it from me. Otherwise, respect my authority as Rally Master and commander of this entire section of the crusade or go back to Mandalore."

He nodded to the ship.

"Now get off my ship and get to work."

Embarking his own gunship, Arthos took the controls in the cockpit silently as he began to fire up the engines and other systems. Launching through the hanger bay doors, Arthos artfully glided the gunship through several moves that saw the enemy fire just pass by them like stars in the night. Flying was something that came naturally to Arthos - it relaxed him. He connected with the other team leaders, Jado, Vidha and Van'Aria.

"Call it in if you get caught up or achieve an objective. Oya!"

Bringing his gunship in hard and faster, Arthos skimmed the edge of the large freighter, blasting apart several of their turrets along one of the arms to better help the other teams on approach. His own team got the green light to ready up as he approached the bridge of the ship. With a muted thudding sound, the gunship latched onto the hull of the enemy ship and the hull cutter attachment started to work.

Arthos moved into the troop compartment, readying his blaster pistol in his right hand and his buckler shield on his left as he stood at the front of the Mandalorian squad. As soon as the hull cutter was mostly done, he started forward at a run and burst through the hole as soon as it was formed, catching the waiting slavers off-guard with his sudden appearance. Grabbing one by the shoulder, Arthos ducked, using the man as a human shield against the first volley of blaster fire before opening up and catching a Zygerrian woman in the face with a blaster bolt.

"MOVE UP! OFF THE BOAT! OYA!"

Vidha could not help but notice a little bit of self-righteousness come off of her sister as she deigned to give the final order. It seemed Arthos noticed it as well, and couldn't help but smirk to herself. She had told Aria about it on multiple occasions (in a more teasing tone, obviously); hopefully hearing it from Arthos would finally have some effect on her.

Vidha boarded a Jai'galaar Starfighter. While this ship was certainly nice, she did prefer her trusty G1-A. Nonetheless, she flew out the hangar bay doors, firing at the enemy ship. She did prefer fighting on the ground, but fighting in space always had a certain intensity about it that Vidha loved.

Her borrowed ship latched onto the outside of the enemy ship, albeit less gracefully than Arthos. As she walked after Arthos, she felt an immense surge of pride at being a Mandalorian. She let out her own war-cry before going the opposite direction, towards where some of the slaves were being ushered away.

Her hairs stood up as soon as she heard him berate her, he dared to go the way she hoped he wouldn't. Delusions of grandeur? Clearly.

If it was Arthos true thoughts that she was trying to overrule him he was sorely mistaken and the fact that he entertained such a notion should throw into question the willingness of her actions she had laid down for him let alone the assistance she had given him up to this day.

Seniority, Rank and the likes matter naught in the Mandalorian Fold and the fact that Arthos was pulling such a Card upon her was a testiment to the fact that he was not thinking straight, no matter the actions of his past he should never see himself above another and that, that alone gave her enough reason to open the argument.

"You think that I would overrule you? What is it that gives you such a preconception? I aimed to alleviate your burden, not undermine you."

She replied to him, indifferent, unwavering. She was not swayed from her path or cause.

"The disrespect you show me like this I will overlook, as I see no reason to hold grudges, however, perhaps in the future you will understand that I have no ill intent towards you, just because others may have slighted you does not mean everyone you come across wishes to stab you in the back."

She gambled heavily on the last statement but hoped he would finally come to his senses, she had not sought to seize his authority nor did she do so, she had moved off of the core that he laid out and offered improvements, if his views were so skewed on it such was worrysome and made Van'Aria question his suitability for Leadership.

"You worry me, Arthos. Perish the thoughts of such and let us get this done."

She gave him a skewed tilt of her helmet before shaking it, she had said her piece and hoped that he would see reason. Putting herself to motion at last she rushed for the second Gunship that was to make entry alongside Arthos, they filed in later than the Rally Master the reason behind such partially being that they had a inferior Pilot.

However it was not overlong until even they had arrived at their entrypoint, the Squad in the back of the Ship readied itself as they waited for the Hull Cutter to do its work and just when it was time to breach she gestured forwards for the squad to advance.

"We are making entry across from you- Arms up! Arms up! Get to the side!"

Her Voice crackled in to inform Arthos but it seemed Van'Aria and her Squad had a harsher welcome than the Rally Master, loud blaster fire could be heard as her voice cut off from the initial topic and directed those in the firing line of a repeater that kept their entry pinned to the sides, they couldn't advance with the Repeater keeping them at bay, she cracked off two Shots hastily through the hole halting the counter advance of two Zyggerrians but it would not change their pinned disposition.

"Something from the inside is keeping us pinned! We can't advance!"

Zipping left and right with the occasional barrel roll to dodge laser fire, Jado closed on the hulking freighter as his thumbs delivered a duo of proton torpedoes at a pair of quad laser cannons along the right arm of the ship, blowing them into debris that scattered into the battlespace. He was impressed by his Prelaar's accuracy. If something happened to his own ship, he might have to put in an order for one of these...

With a tight immelmann turn, Jado loosed another duo of missiles at the hull of the ship in an attempt to blow a hole in the side, but they burst with a shimmer against the light-blue shields that were still up. Osik. With a quick pitch up, he narrowly avoided collision with the hull before rolling around and looking for another option. Along the lower edge he spotted a docking ring. Perfect. With another quick loop to line it up, Jado placed a few careful laser cannon shots at the docking ring doors just before abruptly braking to attach. It was a rough dock and the docking ring would be irreversibly damaged, but the destiny of the freighter was much worse.

Flipping a safety lever, Jado's cockpit unsealed and he fought the slight pull of the vacuum from his imperfect dock to jump into the larger ship. He landed with a metallic thud, DE-10 in each hand and pointing in opposite directions down the hallway. To his left, he spotted an armed Zygerrian emerging from behind a bulkhead and squeezed two shots off at it, hitting once in the shoulder and just under the chest. Tucking against the ship's wall, Jado stalked forward with his Mandalorian co-pilot just behind him. As two more guards rounded the hallway behind them, his partner loosed a trio-burst from a carbine at them to provide cover as they continued to push in.

It seemed their resistance was somewhat scattered, likely trying to respond to the more pressing threat at the bridge. Stalking against the wall, Jado came upon a holding cell with a handful of slaves; something like seven miserable looking humans looking nervous and huddled at the far end of their cell in a clump. The armored visage of Jado invoked a reaction, though he couldn't quite tell if it was positive or negative. "You're free. Grab arms from the bodies in the hallway and make your way to the escape pods. There is a Mandalorian carrier waiting for you a short flight away. No harm will come to you there. My companion here will escort you." he said as calmly as he could muster with a gesture back to his co-pilot. Pressing onto the side of his T-visored helmet, he called in the small victory over comms, though there would be many more slaves to free. "Veren in. Seven non-hostiles being escorted to escape pods for extraction."

Oh fantastic.

Instead of either accepting his words or being willing to actually back up her own point, she backed down in the worst way possible; by gaslighting him. It wasn't that she was in the wrong to assume control and plan out the mission he had organised and planned to a T without consulting him. No, of course not. No, it was his fault for being so insecure and too young to know she only had his interests at heart.

There was no talking to someone as arrogant as to take an attempt at valid criticism and spin words to make themselves the victim. He disrespected her? When she actually showed him some? Until she actually showed she could live in the world outside of her own head where her authority wasn't total?

He resolved to show her how much she deserved.

So he ignored her words, slamming the ramp less than halfway through her self-aggrandising diatribe.

On the ship, focusing on the mission at hand instead of Van'Aria Solus, Arthos breathed deeply as he threw the dead body off of himself as the rest of his gunship cleared out. Hearing the reports from Jado and Van'Aria, Arthos slapped a Mando on the back of the helmet to get his attention.

"Move up to the bridge!"
he commanded before gesturing to two other Mandalorians, "You and you - with me!"

He tapped the side of his helmet.

"Van'Aria - aid coming from the right. When the repeater turns, push up. Jado - keep up the good work."

It would turn... because Arthos was going to play distraction. Roaring a challenge in Mando'a about the gunner's mother being a sheath for any diseased blade that was handy, the two Mandos he had brought with him took cover at the sides of the corridor as Arthos drew a blade and charged the tri-pod bound repeater. The sentient manning it immediately panicked, swivelling the repeater away from where the Solus party were attempting to breach.

One of the rounds slammed against his shield and it spluttered out with a spark. He dodged a stream of them, zigging and zagging as he made his mad-dash on the point. A blaster bolt pinged against his shoulder, staggering him but by that point the Solus party should have been free.

Vidha marched towards the slavers opening fire on them by way of announcing her presence. There were shouts of surprise at the lone Mandalorian that was marching toward them like some sort of ominous omen. Ominous, indeed. Her aim was impeccable as she shot smoking holes in the Zyggerian slavers chests. The slaves ducked and cowered against the wall, as if expecting she would shoot them next.

Vidha made her way over to them, stepping over the still warm bodies of the slavers. "Grab a blaster and make yourself useful. This is your chance to get your revenge," she said, pointing to the slavers' bodies. "Oya, arming a dozen slaves, making our way through the ship," she said, notifying the others of what happened.

The incoming fire kept them furiously pinned, it was a futile effort to push through it and she would refuse any order to do so without aid, she would not risk the death of many people for such a low reward push.

It was then that the call from Arthos came in, she shuffled forth towards the very front of her Fireteam and just when the coast seemed just about clear enough, she rushed forth, Ax in hand she dashed forwards like a Woman on a Mission, she knew not how much of a diversion Arthos could provide so she resolved to assist him in taking care of the Repeater.

Her Jetpack ignited as she shot forth holding her Ax to the side as she clipped in passing the throat of a Zyggerian that sought to tackle her out of the Air leaving him to convulse on the floor.

"Forwards! Forwards!"

She gestured for her Fireteam to advance which they did as they flooded in like a horde of angry hornets each picking their own targets as they advanced forwards and steadily enough... the Mandalorians were gaining a deadly upper hand.

Hearing both the ringing of Durasteel and seeing how Arthos was assailed by the Turret she grimaced beneath her Helmet, resolved to assist another burst of her Jetpack would put herself just in range to assail the Gunner who had resolved to whip back around... but not in time.

Holding her Ax in both hands she brought it up then down in a wrathful strike that bisected the Gunner from the shoulder down turning him into two halves that fell to the floor, this however was not given without drawing attention and she was going to feel it soon enough, a volley of Blasterfire came raining in her direction and whilst she managed to evade much of it two shots clipped her, one ricocheting off her Beskar helmet the other singing the side of her pauldron leaving a mark but the Armor held.

Landing with her strike she touched down not too far from Arthos and spent no moment wasting time as she frantically and energetically gestured for her Fireteam to advance to draw the fire away from them, she would then reach out to press a hand to the Rally Masters shoulder.

"Are you alright?"

She asked with concern in her voice, he risked much on that push and she wouldn't forgive herself if he risked too much. She rallied to his side and made sure that anyone daring enough to have him in his sights would live to regret it.

With his co-pilot escorting the freed slaves away, Jado would have to proceed carefully now that he was on his own and wouldn't have the luxury of a Mandalorian at his back. That damned tickle in his chest caught him mid breath with a coughing fit as he leaned against the wall of the holding cell trying to catch his breath. That fucking coaxium. With his next payday, he needed to splurge on some bacta treatments and see if he couldn't kick this damned curse from his past.

Just as his breathing slowed to a comfortable rate, the tip of an unexpected electrostaff slammed against the side of his durasteel helmet with a metallic ring, knocking Jado promptly to the dirty cell floor. The blow wouldn't have thrown him had he been prepared, but such was the life of a former slave and coaxium miner; wouldn't be the first time his cough gave him away. Quickly spinning onto his feet and diving to the side of a follow-up attack, Jado unsheathed the vibro-gladius from his hip and launched low towards his surprise attacker, who he now recognized as a male weequay.

Still off balance from his dodge, Jado's lunge fell short of its target as the artificial gravity pulled him back to the floor. He clattered with the metallic clang of armor and managed to just roll onto his back before seeing the weequay winding up for a downward jab with the butt of its staff. Head still aching from the initial blow, Jado groaned "Ugh, I don't have time for this" as he unholstered the DE-10 on his right thigh and loosed a flurry of blaster bolts into the slaver's groin above him. The screams of pain ended soon after the third shot, but he placed a few more for good measure before the dead body flopped over on top of him.

Rolling the slaver scum off of him, Jado got back to his feet and gathered the vibro-gladius that he'd dropped in his fall. He couldn't afford to drop his guard. The next coughing fit would have to wait, or it would be his last. Maintaining the gladius in one hand and blaster pistol in the other, Jado slunk out of the holding cell and back into the hallway. This particular hallway seemed to be lined with cells. Carefully checking his corners and keeping an ear open for movement, he peeked into the first cell and saw what looked like a family of four, fearfully huddled in rags. "You're free. Escape pods should be that way. Board the Mandalorian carrier that's a short flight away. There's an electrostaff in the next cell over if you can protect yourselves."

Jado would free the slaves in the four other cells within the block in a similar fashion, directing them to escape pods for safety and pointing out any weapons he had seen in the vicinity. As he started nearing the center of the ship, he could hear the clangor of battle growing louder. He was making progress. Before long, he hoped to converge with Vidha who should be working towards similar goals from the other end of the ship. With several more slaves now freed, he called in the update: "Approximately thirty more freemen headed to escape pods for extraction. Very little resistance down this end. Pushing through next block and towards bridge."

It wasn't the first blaster bolt to strike his armour and singe the skin underneath and it wouldn't be the last. That didn't mean that it didn't hurt - it always hurt and it always would until he got that one hit too deep to do anything but either die or replace the limb. Rotating his shoulder with a grimace underneath his helmet, he noted that he seemed to have the full range of movement - just every move with it hurt.

About as good as could be expected really.

His shield was over-heated and wouldn't be of any use to him for the remainder of the battle, however, so he disconnected it from his forearm with a few clicks as Van'Aria came over to him. Leaning forward and down, he tapped his helmet to her own, the beskar ringing in both of their ears before he stood back up straight.

"Nothing that'll slow me down today."
he assured her before moving slightly past her, "Form up for an assault on the bridge - they'll have fortified their position but I don't think they'll be ready for this."

He grabbed the turret that had been set up and, using his strength, he grunted before pulling it free of its tripod. Instead he started walking with it toward the doors to the bridge area of the ship. Mandalorians lined the sides of the doorway, preparing to breach as Arthos stepped up to the middle.

"Van'Aria - when we breach, move left and see about securing anyone who looks like an officer. I'll provide suppressing fire. On the mark..."

He paused as the Mandalorians prepped an explosive charge against the lock.

"Mark!"

The charge detonated and the locks were forced open, the doors opening quickly. Before the entrenched slavers could lay down fire - Arthos was already unloading. The turret gun he had salvaged bucked and sprayed hot death through the doorway as he moved on ahead, keeping to the right to give Van'Aria a chance to go to the left. Already his suppressing fire had literally torn people in half so he would say it was working.

Vidha was collecting slaves as she ran. Most were being herded by slavers who trying to flee. Stupid notion, really. Vidha showed no mercy.

Once she had put weapons in the hands of the slaves, they were suddenly back in control. She was not alone. The former slaves marched behind her and they were a sight to see. She had about two dozen slaves following her. She heard Jado's voice over the comm and pressed her own finger to the side of her helmet. "Making my way towards you, Veren," she said. "Got about two dozen with me," she continued.

The ringing of Beskar on Beskar was something that was distinct and unmistakeable, some Mandalorians described it as the voice of the metal singing out to make its voice known, no doubt it had a certain elegance about it and it rung true when helmet met helmet as imposed by Arthos.

"Perhaps so. Lets show them what Mandalorians are made off then."

She nodded to his Plan and jetted off, she had to be careful, flying a Jetpack in enclosed spaces was more difficult than some might imagine yet it seemed to her like she was born to use one that combined with her axe made her a predator even if she relied on a sidearm at times when it was more opportune.

This time she readied herself to jet through the Explosion alongside Arthos's suppressing fire, it was a daring move and incredibly dumb when you looked at it from a third perspective yet only the most daring and dumb moves yielded the biggest results.

"Im off!"

She reassured Arthos over the Comlink as the Breaching Charge detonated and sure enough... she delivered, shooting through like a missile she reached over to place her Ax onto her shoulder where it would be held in transit magnetically so that she could have both her hands free.

Once the smoke ahead of her cleared she cut through a group of two who looked at her like someone would when a jet flew overhead, landing just behind them she pulled her Blaster forth and dispatched them, her head then whipped to a third that stood a bit further behind her who heckled her with blaster-fire, his attire matched... and the fact he had authority over other troops matched aswell.

"Jackpot. My position! Moving in to apprehend!"

<"Another! Right side!>

A duel of blaster fire ensued neither side scoring hits whilst the other Mandalorians storming the Bridge began taking to their own targets, it was suffice to say that the counter from Arthos shook them up good giving the Mandalorians another Ace to work around.

After a lengthy exchange Van'Aria jetted forwards and planted her knee to the jaw of the Zyggerian Officer she fought with, tackling him to the ground shortly afterwards, holding him at Blasterpoint she ducked her Helmet down narrowly avoiding crossfire.

"One secure! But I dont know how long I will be able to keep him safe! Caution there might be more!"

Once again left alone in the cold, unwelcoming steel of the slavers ship, Jado readied himself to push into the next section of slave cells. Standing in front of the metal doors, he closed his eyes, listening to the pangs of blaster fire and deep booms of grenade explosions echoing beyond the door. He breathed deeply in preparation. There were so many slaves saved, and more to save beyond this metal. The terror those people felt would soon come to an end, thanks to the deadly precision of Mandalorian warriors. He smiled, remembering his own freedom being won by Veren Mandalorians. Now he was returning the favor to the universe; paying his dues for what he'd been gifted before.

Blaster pistol and vibro-gladius still in hand, Jado pushed the button to the side of the metal door, unleashing the smell of plasma-scarred metal with a wave of warmth as it slid open. Like the previous sections he'd worked through, there were doors lining either side of the corridor that were likely used as holding chambers for slaves, whether filled or not. At the far end of the hall, just able to be made out through black smoke, was the central hallway that connected the outer arms of the ship to the bridge. Between him, and it? Looked like about nine armed Zygerrians, pissed and huddled behind crates and bulkheads, largely looking towards the clearing smoke in the doorway. When Vidha's message came through his helmet, he smirked and responded, "See you on the other side."

These tools have no idea what hit them. As he lowered down to sneak closer, he held his gladius hilt close against the vambrace on his right arm. With the first button press, the whistling birds lurched forward with a mechanical buzz before he raised the arm towards the unaware slavers and loosed a quartet of metal darts as he continued his advance. As designed, they flew unpredictably toward their nearest targets with a whistle and implanted themselves firmly into four Zygerrian faces that went limp and hit the ground with a thud. By the time the remaining slavers turned their attention towards Jado, he was within a comfortable distance to engage and tuck behind cover as needed.

Stalking towards the first surprised Zygerrian, Jado wrapped his gladius arm around its neck and spun it around to face its allies, vibroblade against its jugular. His blaster arm came up and braced against the Zygerrians shoulder to keep his aim true. Despite his living shield, the slavers fired upon him en masse, mostly peppering their ally with blaster bolts though a stray bolt bounced off his left bracer that was holding the gladius against the Zygerrian's neck. Jado didn't idly take fire and strafed while returning fire at the slavers. Being a well-trained Mandalorian without fear or panic during battle, each of his shots landed true into the chests of the four remaining slavers. Though the one he'd used as a shield was already dead courtesy of its friends, Jado released its deadweight with a slice of its neck across the gladius, ensuring it wouldn't possibly survive.

Looking into the cells lining the walls, Jado could see many more bewildered and terrified civilians hoping that he was the salvation they had been praying for. Thankfully, they were right, and he was; as the Mandalorians had been for him when he was a slave. In quick succession, he pressed buttons on the pads next to the doors to release the occupants. Jado didn't bother to do a headcount or call in the update. His next push was going to be into the central tunnel, where the bulk of the fighting had already been taking place. No need to call in what his allies would soon witness in person.

Being the heavy weapons guy was fun - he was going to need to find a way to do it more often. Oh he was definitely keeping this repeater, or he was going to see what kind his own people were making these days. Hosing down the entire side of the bridge that Van'Aria was not actually within, Arthos narrowed his eyes and checked over the ammo counter before sighing a little bit.

The downside of being a heavy weapons guy.

One secure?

They weren't taking hostages or prisoners here.

"Then you have one human shield more than me, Van'Aria. Let me remedy!"

With a grunt, Arthos literally threw the repeater at the face of one of the bridge staff as they popped up to return fire. Drawing his trusty blaster pistol instead, Arthos grabbed the dazed slaver by the back of the throat and hauled them to their feet, actively holding them in front of him as he began to prowl down the rows of consoles. Every time a slaver popped up, he turned, presenting their friend in front of him like a living shield.

Those who hesitated for a second received a blaster bolt to the chest for their trouble. Those who didn't hesitate blasted wantonly into their former ally... before also receiving a blaster bolt to the chest for their foresight. The slaver he had with him was a bloody mess as the Mandalorians began to overwhelm the bridge, their numbers beginning to win them the day.

"I did not know we were having a contest!"

She retorted as she hoisted the man up and pushed him infront of her whilst taking shots out from him before then dissappearing right behind her fleshy human shield, those that were assailing her however seemed to not as much care about her shields wellbeing, blaster shots were soon directed to hit center mass and what was previously a healthy Officer became a well perforated shield that was eventually discarded.

However as the battle went on more and more ground was covered until eventually the final few cells of resistance were rooted out and the Bridge was taken, wasting no time however Van'Aria turned to her fireteam.

"Whilst the bridge is taken we must make certain anyone wishing to retake it is firmly reminded that we are here."

And with that she would lead her Fireteam deeper inside more directly to the main entrance to the Bridge where she posted up leaving Arthos and his Men to do what he was here for, she wouldn't get in the way for a good reason and preferred to split attention.

"When we leave let me know."

She retorted over the Commlink, she knew this Ship wouldn't survive but also didn't want to impose pressure, Arthos was Arthos afterall, and whilst he was abrasive at first she could come around to thinking otherwise in the near future.
