DESCRIPTION​

Trini Halrixien's heatbeam pistol is an ancient Tionese sidearm, discovered by the archaeologist as part of a cache of similarly archaic artifacts and kept by her for reasons she cannot consciously explain. Of unknown make and model, the weapon's origins are elusive, and Trini theorizes that it belonged to the nobility of a planet which was erased from history by Xim the Despot's deprivations.

Since acquiring the weapon, Trini has put some work into learning to use it properly, studying archaic but deadly fighting techniques based around the heatbeam. She has also made a few quality-of-life improvements to the weapon, including a general tune-up of its innards and modifications which allow it to accept modern power packs.

In general, Trini's heatbeam does not leave a display stand in her office, where she claims it is an exceptionally well made reproduction. She has been known to take it with her into exceptionally dangerous situations, however.

LEGALITY​

Legal. Ownership of heatbeam pistols is not restricted in most of the Galaxy, and may even be considered part of formal attire on more civilized worlds.
