Nuzzling awake covered by a jacket I flicked my eyes open and saw Kel. Opening my mind I pulled the gems that'd fallen into the couch out and swirled them around with a little spin. I still tasted Kel's blood in my mouth and saw the spiderweb of scratches I'd put on his back and bit the corner of my lip. Oops....I guess I'd been a little rougher than I might should have. Pulling my thigh holster with my pistol from the ceiling rafters. Rising from the couch, holding Kel's jacket against my chest I reached out with The Force and cast my senses about the room.

Smiling I felt a hidden latch and engaged it. I felt the whole room descend smoothly and looking over at Cal sweetly I curled my legs up under me and looking over by the door I stretched out my right hand and with a pull of my mind my saber hilt slapped into my palm. The curved hilt and ebony leather handgrip felt like gripping a lovers' hands in your own. Wasn't exactly completely clothed.....however there wasn't much I could do about that just yet. Running my thumb across the ignition switch I triggered it with a snap-hiss, the amethyst glow crackling with small arcs of electricity within the beam.

The almost purring growl of the blade due to the instability I'd created within my saber crystal. Infusing the crystal with my own fusion of both light and dark lightning. Standing, holding the blade out and to an angle I looked towards Kal and said "Well? Shall we? I reckon anyone who puts secret elevators in clubs could certainly have put a locker with a change of clothes eh?" Looking around I saw at least a decent hangar. Complete with.....oh my.....this would do nicely.... In terms of ships it looked like it could use some work but she had promise.

Celi sure could turn waking up into a show. As she opened her eyes, a bunch of gems floated mid-air, forming a little whirlwind. I placed his palm under it and moved upwards, to have the gems rest in his hand. Then I put them carefully into the pouch, which ended up in the pocket of my pants shortly. As Celi bit her own lip and rose from the couch, covered with my own jacket, l smirked. She looked so sweet now, yet the bite and scratch marks on my body told a different story.

Meanwhile, the holster with the pistol somehow flew towards her; so did the lightsaber hilt. Celi sure was accustomed to using her eerie powers to the fullest in day-to-day moments like that. To me, however, they still looked like a miracle. I stared at the woman and her little levitation show a bit longer; perhaps bordering on impoliteness under different circumstances

However, Celi did something, and then I felt a shift in the room. I couldn't figure out what it was yet, but he soon would. First things first: I needed my T-shirt (if it was still salvageable) and the jacket. Taking it off Celi there and then would be pretty rude. But then she ignited the blade, making me forget about that little inconvenience and captivating my attention. I had seen the Jedi a couple of times, even with a similarly-colored blades. But there was something different in how it looked and sounded: rawer, more rugged. I noticed that the color of the blade matched Celi's eyes. Then again, even my jacket on Celi was slightly amethyst now.

Her words brought me back to the moment and make me chuckle. They sounded like a good joke: "Mhhhhmmm, and exactly with your size, I reckon." That remark made me collect her clothes from the floor, just in case. "Seriously though, I wouldn't bet on it." Still, I followed Celi and her blade into the next room... which turned out ot be a hangar? The sight made me whistle. It had everything an aspiring ring leader could hope for... Or rather, the foundations for it.

Smiling at Kel's comment about possible clothes being in my size and then his whistle at the hangar I moved inside. Saber held at a loose angle I walked forward towards the ship. Looked like there were several equipment loaders around. Along with several crates of tools and the like. Looked like the previous owner had had all this as a project...Now he'd set me up for success.

Casting my senses about the crates around I made a quick incision with my saber flicked down at an angle and simply tossed my saber into the air. Holding it aloft with The Force I searched through the locker and found a pair of form fitting combat trousers and Something I'd always wanted, as a Jedi I'd actually dreamed of them. Form fitted Echani Silk robes, they were incredibly durable and were also very expensive due to the quality of materials. There was a whole assortment of them...Reaching out I picked one out and almost moaned at how wonderful it felt to feel Echani Silk against my fingers.

Pulling one out I fitted it around my body and secured the silk sash in place. Sensing another bin of clothes I inverted my blade and flicked the tip of my blade through another lock. "There may be some clothes in that one for you Kel. These are mine though, you have no idea how long I've dreamed about having these...." My Combat instructor had had several of these robes, she looked as elegant in them as she did while fighting in them. Pulling my saber back to my hand I started looking around and found what looked to be a control cluster. Pushing a lever up dim amber lights flicked on around the ship.

I could hear a low whirring and a whining sound. Sounded like something was jammed, walking around towards the cargo door I could see it was the cargo loading ramp. It acted like a bridge between the ship and the dock.... couldn't get inside the ship before fixing the bridge. Well, every adventure had a few first steps to get going...

Wouldn't bet on it, huh? How the kriff did she know?! Kel wasn't sure what surprised him more: that Celi predicted there'd be something of use here, or that the previous owner had left it to her. A part of him suspected that it would bite them later. You don't leave expensive stuff lying around when selling a place. Unless you got its worth in payment, or you don't intend to carry through with the sale. The implication was that Celi had more money on her hands than Kel had imagined... Or that she might have to expect guests in a day or two. But perhaps it was just Kel's paranoia, tempered in the streets of Nar Shaddaa.

"Oh, I've got everything I need," with Cel putting on a robe, Kel could have his leather jacket back. It wasn't too comfortable on a naked torso; but if it was zipped up, nobody would be the wiser. All things considered, losing the T-shirt to Celi's nails was totally worth it.

As the blonde pushed a lever, Kel realized another reason why the place might've been handed over without a fuss. "Looks like it'll take a while to get this place going, eh?" While the club itself seemed in a good shape, the hangar could definitely use some work... Maybe a lot of work. That meant getting credits, supplies, personnel... And securing those investments against the underworld gangs, who'd be all too eager to move in on the new proprietor.

Kel cast a glance at Celiana. With her new robes and a lightsaber ignited, she would sure come across as more intimidating than at the club. Not to Kel, but certainly to anyone stupid enough to take on a Jedi. The blonde also seemed to radiate a strong mix of confidence and enterprising spirit. It would be curious to see where it would get her.

Smiling at Kel's comment of it taking a good while to get this place going I said "Depends on the droids they left behind Kel...." Snatching a tool bag from the table I started looking around. Looked like there was at least four load lifters, another four construction droids and at least another four maintenance drones. All without power though....Sighing I went through and popping the panels open on each droid looked like at least two had completely depleted power cells.

Typically that'd mean replacing them, but I wasn't about to just scrap them. Pulling the two power cells out I extinguished my saber and instead simply held the power cells in my hands. Concentrating, drawing on the lust still between Kel and myself, the ambition I had and Kel had though his motives may still be his own. I accelerated the emotional outpouring through The Force and as I did my forearms wreathed in violet, aqua, and crimson lightning. I could see the power cells charging and in under ten seconds they were ready to go. Reprogramming the two droids I was about to charge back up I set them to go and basically jump start the other droids.

Plugging the power cells back in they walked off to carry out that program. Looking at Kel I said "It pays to work smarter and not harder. Droids don't have to sleep after all...Might be worth checking out the rest of the crate though, who knows what could have been left behind for us? I am after all a fan of new, shiny toys."

What can I say? I'm overwhelmed. Not only did Celi manage to get herself a place of her own, but complete with droids no less. Kel tilted his head as the blonde proceeded to inspect the droids. Then eerie glow filled the area, as the pilot saw Celiana pour energy into the depleted powercores. Wait, she can do that too? Next thing you're gonna tell me she can fly.

Despite the strange, cold feeling nudging at him, Kel was attracted to the woman and what he saw her do. It was nothing short of a miracle, and those just kept happening. "Wow, that's a pretty handy trick you've got there." He approached Celiana again, this time standing by her side. "You're full of surprises. And I've got to say, I'm slightly jealous of all the things you can do. Bet I haven't seen all of it yet."

Meanwhile, the reactivated droids proceeded about their business, to slowly bring the place back to life. Kel could only nod in agreement to what Celi said; his grin became wider. "Riiight. I'd rather you do the honors though. It's your show and your place, after all. I'm just happy to be a part of it."

Smiling at Kel's comments I said "I learned that skill through a great deal of pain...You have to intake that level of energy before being able to unleash it. It was a.....violent lesson. As for not having seen all I can do yet you'd be correct, I am however just as fond of destructive powers as I am those that heal or educate." As he mentioned me doing the honors though I looked around and saw a droid restoring functionality to the cargo bay ramp. I could and probably should be going about all of this wearing boots, however having spent many years simply feeling the vibration of people's feet dragging along a practice mat I chose to go without.

Besides, it was highly likely that some of the best toys were aboard the ship itself. My saber and blaster pistol should be quite enough to deal with anything or anyone still aboard. Heading over to the cargo bay ramp I reached down to a panel and pulled the lever to engage the docking clamps on the cargo ramp. Looking back at Kel I said "Shall we take a look around? I'm curious to see what this girl has to offer."

"Oh," the pilot mumbled, unaware of the nuances of Force training. "In that case, I'm slightly less jealous." The remark about using the destructive and healing powers in equal measure made Kel take note. It could be interpreted two-fold. The scoundrel made a note to himself not to double cross Celiana in the future. After all, he had seen what the Jedi could do. However, that begged the question: "Don't you think it's strange they left the ship behind? I mean, I wouldn't have." For the moment, Kel didn't even recognize the model of the vessel.

Regardless of Celi's answer, there was no turning back. Kel patted the jacket on his chest, feeling the blaster in the inner pocket against his torso. "Either way, it'd be wrong not to see what's lying around."

Smirking at his comment of being slightly less jealous I said "suffering doesn't destroy, it refines." His comments about it being strange they left the ship behind and that he wouldn't have.... He had a point...even though the droids had been left here with no power and the ship had been left where it was. There was something....about this ship, I felt like it had potential. The cargo ramp locked into place with a resounding clang.

Walking up the loading ramp barefoot I was looking at the ship itself. Looked like there was a mix of runes along the hull...In both Mandalorian and Echani scripts. That, was highly uncommon in ANY part of the galaxy. Though I'd fought with and against both Echani and Mandalorian hunters. I'd be surprised if there weren't at the very least hidden cargo spots dotted all along the ship. As it stood Mandalorians were quite skilled at booby traps and I'd be surprised if there weren't at least a few.

I had the sneaking suspicion though that the pilot and co-pilot hadn't left the ship though. Echani and Mandalorians didn't exactly go down easily. Stepping forward into the hangar bay I pulled my saber and started forward into the ship interior.

"Interesting point," Kel remarked on a somewhat strange statement. Perhaps the Jedi knew something he did not? After all, they were supposed to have a better understanding of the universe, seeing what they could accomplish. Regardless, if they were going in, he'd better be prepared as well. Unzipping his jacket, Kel reached for the blaster and held it steady, just in case. Seeing how Celiana was better equipped for close quarters—and had the only source of light—it made sense for her to take the lead.

The unfamiliar runes along the hull made Kel slightly uneasy. Who even decorates their ships that way? Got to be the same person who left the ship parked here. What if they aren't aware of the change of ownership? Then they'd see Celi walking around wearing their stuff. But how can the owners be around if the cargo ramp had been broken? Perhaps they didn't count on Celi finding the elevator? You've got a lot more questions than answers, Kel.

Despite that, he peered into the darkness illuminated only by Celi's amethyst blade. They had to look quite odd together; Kel especially, with just his pants, and a leather jacket over a scratched torso. But then again, they seemed to be alone, so who'd care?

My blade illuminating the hallway I let out a low whistle. My senses on high alert as well, Mandalorian and Echani had fought against and alongside each other. Some had even married, the runes on the outer hull indicated a blend of cultures. As a archivist things like that intrigued me. But having been trained as an Echani blade well....Those blends of symbols typically dotted matching armor. Which meant whoever had owned this ship hap been at the very minimum VERY close.

As I moved through the ships' corridors I had my senses both in the halls and beneath the deckplating. If this ship had been a home or mobile clan home then it was likely that they'd had their own armory, smith, and workshop....Mandalorian armaments or Echani? That was one hell of a prize. Still.....I had the sense that the previous owners were still aboard though not exactly breathing either....

There was something ominous about the corridor. Even his Jedi companion—usually quite confident—seemed rather tense. The strange rune decorations didn't add to Kel's confidence. Instead, they made the place rather surreal. That's why the pilot kept the pistol at the ready as he followed Celi further into the ship. Whoever tried to jump them from ahead or behind would get two blaster bolts at the price of one.

The vessel seemed bigger than his own Black Swift. It also felt like it had been abandoned for a while. Even though Kel couldn't quite describe the reasons why he thought that way. Regardless, he continued to walk half-turned, ready to shoot a target ahead or turn backwards and watch their backs. There was nothing more to say... Not to mention that making too much noise in a place like that would be rather foolish.

An uncertain smirk crossed his lips, as a thought came to him. That's one way to spend a hangover after a "first date".

I kept moving forward through the ship and realized it was in its own way very much like an Echani cargo freighter. I could tell it wasn't though. As I stepped forward I could sense....something but there was something off...my senses were dulled in here. Taking another step forward I heard a click, then simply a sense of imminent danger. Raising my hand I put up to create a shield of simple force energy and I was glad I did.

A repeating launcher spat out darts as well as....lanvaroks. An old Mandalorian weapon that launched discs spun at incredibly high speeds. If you were a Force user one could launch the discs then control their trajectory with The Force. The darts though were Echani huntress darts dipped in hallucinogenic oils they were...quite effective. Knife fighting with blades dipped in that were not exactly fun... I waited until the magazine of darts and blades had exhausted itself then let the projectiles fall to the floor.

Looking at Kel I said "Seems we're on the right track typically you don't set traps in a place unless there's something to hide." Though I was curious as why my senses were dulled. There were a handful of materials which could dull my senses and most of them were acquired with a great deal of difficulty. Moving further into the ship I felt the pull of something....something with a VERY prominent presence in The Force. Well, at the very least that gave us a sense of some direction to head.

Kel did feel off as well; in fact, even before they had walked down that corridor. He'd write it off to the eerie corridors of the ship; but a moment later, he heard the click that signaled about incoming trouble. With a loud thud, he hit a wall while dashing towards it for cover. Yet the move turned out to be pointless. The weird projectiles designed to get rid of intruders just... stopped mid air. The scoundrel exhaled with relief, just looking at Celi and her yet another display of Jedi skills.

Or we're on the wrong track, because nobody in their right mind sets traps aboard ships they use. Whoever did it must've been one weirdo. However, Kel couldn't reply that—he had appearances to keep up. That's why he just chuckled nervously: "Right." The sight of so many murder contraptions in action cleared his head of any remaining alcohol. Was he way over his head when agreeing to investigate the place?

Regardless, the die was cast. Not to mention, that there was something else... A strange feeling. It was as if Kel had seen the plan of the ship before and knew the approximate direction of where to go. Even though he didn't know the destination where it'd lead to. That was too odd to bring up to Celi. She was heading in the same direction anyway, so the pilot figured it'd be best to stick around and see what it would lead to.

Moving forward towards the bridge of the ship I angled my grip on my saber hilt with my blade in a loose high guard. Mandalorian and Echani weaponry and traps. "I think the captains are still aboard Kel, the traps were still engaged which means they must've died aboard. Those are traps set as a last line of defense..."

I wasn't anxious to see one of my kind dead though... Moving forwards I saw a bulkhead locked and welded shut. Casting my senses about the ship I could tell there was something on the other side but I sensed......a lustful, hungry presence on the other side. Though there were no living things on the other side of the door. Well this was where we needed to be to start up the rest of the ship....Moving towards the door I began cutting through the weld marks with my saber.

"Well...something is on the other side of these doors and they were sealed from the outside. How about you and I find out what's inside Kel?"

"I don't know. If I were to set traps, it'd probably be to keep shipjackers out," the scoundrel shrugged in reply, still following the Jedi through the corridors. "And keep them engaged only when I wouldn't be aboard. Too much of a trouble otherwise." Then again, Kel wouldn't even be the type to set traps. Who knew what that type of people would have in their heads?

And why would anyone weld a bulkhead on the grounded ship? And the one leading towards the bridge at that. Kel wasn't really looking forward to find out. There was more to it than trespassing and running across deadly contraptions though. Something about the whole ship deal just stinks. However, the pilot couldn't say where this feeling came from, or why.

Still, Celi's purple blade was already cutting through the metal, and she wouldn't take no for an answer. Not to mention that Kel was kind of curious himself. So he simply aimed the blaster at the door, ready to shoot at anything or anyone who might be inside. Consumed by these thoughts and rising tension, he remained silent.

Kel had a point, and the more I thought about it the more I realized that the former owners were probably still inside. If the door was welded then it'd likely have been to trap people inside. If they'd been trapped inside well...if it were me I'd have introduced a poisonous gas and waited for the air supply inside to whither to nothing. Moving my blade through the door with ease I finally cut through the door and clearing my blade from the door I reached out with a hand and channelled The Force to move the door to the side.

As I stepped aboard the bridge and held my saber aloft to light the room I just stopped. Breath hitching I'd been preparing for this but I still wasn't ready. A young Echani woman, same Aelfin ears as mine clothed in Echani huntress Raven armor, gifted to the most accomplished duelists and captains...

Several blades were around her along with a man clad in beskar armor. A clan emblem on the right shoulder....from his position I could tell he'd placed himself there as a shield for her. The bodies weren't even dead two days based on the coloring in her skin along with how fresh everything was. Reaching towards her hand my hand grazed along the hilt of a sword. As my fingers brushed the hilt I saw what had happened. They'd made port here and been doing repairs, the person I'd bought the club from had welcomed them. Then he'd hired assassins to take the ship.

They'd defended the ship alone while their crew had been on leave...blaster bolts scorching the halls. The blade I held taking lives in precise beautiful swordsmanship until they'd finally been pushed back here. The doors had been sealed with them inside... Then gas. As she'd been poisoned her.....fiancee had stood watch. A jerk then I heard her name "Seriah, for what it's worth every moment with you has been a treasure. I'd do it all again cya'rika." Her head lifting weakly and saying "Elias...." Then her head falling limp.

Watching her die then hearing her through The Force "If you've seen this you've the gift of psychometry a rather rare Force ability. If by chance you're also Echani then as Captain I give this ship in trust to you along with everything aboard. I ask that you lay me and my beloved to rest in the ways of our respective cultures. May The Force be with you and the stars watch over you...."

Jerking back to the present I could feel hot tears streaking my cheeks. Looking towards Kel I said "We need to lay them to rest Kel...after that we'll see what's what."

There was some reports of a commotion in a supposedly abandoned hangar. Which is never a good sign, so like any good law man, I headed to the site as quickly as I could. An upon arrival it was what I expected a abandoned hangar, but inside sat a actual ship. Whatever had happened here clearly got the attention of some person nearby that noticed or just one of those anonymous calls that was in fact a rather unhappy party. Likely something criminal happened here and now someone wanted to get someone in trouble. But regardless of whoever that was I needed to play it safe.

Getting inside the hangar wasn't a problem with my clearance no one bothered me and my equipment made most security pretty pointless. Standing outside the ramp of the freighter I knew someone was inside and I wasn't planning on going inside in case this was a trap. Depending on a response I might call in local authorities to clear the area and secure it for a proper investigation.

If some crime did happen here I would need some proper equipment and team to help investigate it. My skills were less in the lifting fingerprints and more making the connections and knocking people out as need be.

My rifle in hand I spoke as loud as I could without screeching into the ship through the open ramp.

"Anyone on board this ship needs to exit the ship. A call was made about some commotion and I am here to investigate the claims. I am a Sector Ranger, and my back up is already on their way." I didn't know the story so figured put everyone on notice and keep them from causing a problem so I could sort things out.

While I hadn't actually sent out the request for support yet, all I need to do was sent out the prerecorded signal for assistance on the commlink on my belt. I stood behind a crate I had moved to be closer to the ramp entrance of the ship, it went up to my sternum, and about 3 meters wide. If this was to turn into a firefight then at least I had some cover. I had all my equipment that I usually had so if things did get ugly shouldn't be a problem.

Dead bodies. A rather anticlimactic, but a totally logical find, given the circumstances. Anticlimactic because after all those traps, eerie feel, and a sealed door I would've expected... I don't know, some deadly Sith artifact, a dangerous predator, or a contagious disease... Actually, speaking of diseases, it wasn't ruled out. Best not to touch anything. Before I could warn Celi, she already reached for the blade. And it looked like the contact with the weapon made her pretty... out of it? The blonde remained quiet for a while, and I didn't dare to interrupt a Jedi.

As she turned back to me, I saw something that surprised me. Tears on her cheeks and a change in her voice. Until that moment, I couldn't have imagined her like that. And the whole shift was pretty quick and seemingly uncalled for. Did she know those people? Or was it the Jedi compassion people talked so much about? Or maybe it was my Nar Shaddaa experiences that made the scene seem... I dunno, ordinary?

Either way, Celi was moved by what she saw, and it's all that mattered. I helped her up, hand on the shoulder: "Sure thing..." But before I could ask her what happened, the poodoo hit the fan. A distant, barely-hearable shout from outside the ship, and a mention of Sector Rangers. Just my kriffin' luck.

My voice hushed, quick, and anxious, I tried to bring Celi back to the present: "We can't stay here. Imagine what happens when a Ranger finds us next to a couple of..." I cast a quick glance at the two deceased. "... Rather fresh corpses. Don't know about you, but I'd rather not get hauled in and wait to be proven innocent. Or get those two pinned on me."

My mind raced desperately, as I tried to figure out a way out of that mess. So far, I only had one idea. "That guy sounds like he's alone. Do you think we can lure him aboard, miss him inside the ship, and get out?"

Looking at Kel as he helped me up then I heard the ranger myself "He'll have to fight me then...we're NOT leaving the bodies. They were sealed in here and gassed. Even Mandalorians' armor has a limit to oxygen supply... They died together and I refuse to leave them. Besides...." A flicker of rage entered my eyes. "The one I bought this club from did this, which means I'll have to gut someone in a way that'll make the holonet in brutality."

Looking down the hall I called back "I bought the club and everything attached to it Ranger, therefore I don't have to to do a gorram thing. Secondly if you had backup they'd be in a team going through the ship to corner us and I don't sense anyone other than you, me, and my pilot. So if you want to try forcing me out that's not going to end well for you."

Unbuckling the sword sheathe from Seriah's waist I buckled it around mine I could feel the mix of light and dark Force energies all but dripping from the blade. Force imbued....bending down I closed her eyes and whispered "Rest well daughter of Eshan, noble and bold huntress become one with the stars and light the way for others to follow." Then I pulled an old favorite from her belt....we'd called them moon fangs for how polished the blade was both before and after use as well as being able to reach out and strike from distance with a lethal bite

Noticing it was made of Phrik alloy I smiled, saber resistant too. Yes, I'd see these two lovers laid to rest properly if this ranger wanted a fight he'd find out that it wouldn't go well. Besides, even if he boarded there truly was no match against an Echani close combat specialist. Shotguns or swords, sabers or rifles. There was a reason I had the title of firedancing huntress....
