Talak was growing tired of this game. It still nagged at his mind that he couldn't place skullface, but while he wouldn't be able to place him as associated with the Knights of Ren, the fact that he recognized him at all pointed to a position in the Sith. Or perhaps the Syndicates. Neither were allies, but he'd never actually sat down to talk to a living Syndicate member, so that was less likely to have left a familiar impression. Sith is more likely, though this is a weird situation still, he thought to himself. When the Mando mentioned collecting the bounty, that pointed to 5S and turning in an illegal bounty from a crime organization.

At best they're murderers-for-hire and at worst they're Sith. Both were groups he had killed before and neither were people that were going to back down willingly. They weren't even going to stick around to sort out the issue via questioning, let alone an actual arrest. If he said he was taking their bounty in the name of the Jedi. Well, they wouldn't go for that either.

He'd asked nicely, now it was time for something more direct. After all, noncompliant suspects weren't simply asked nicely by police to "please stop committing crimes."

Without Vinry preventing him any longer, the skullboy had picked up the unconscious Sith and only been stopped from making his way out the door by Talak, cursing and telling Talak to get out of the way.

That was fine. Talak's right foot shot out and would slam into the man's closest knee with enough force to easily break it. His saber ignited just after the kick began so as not to give any warning of an impending strike but prepared in case by some miracle there was a follow up attack. With over two hundred pounds of unconscious Sith, armor, and weapons over his shoulder there would be no leaping out of the way, dodging, maneuvering his feet to avoid it, or even drawing a weapon with his arms occupied in a fireman's carry given that he'd received no assistance from anyone else.

If there was any consolation, it was an improvement over the straight up impaling the Arcanist would have given him. While old habits died hard, he was fairly comfortable with subduing someone involved in kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest, - or something like that - and probably murder. Not to mention, he had more than a nagging suspicion that this one at least was actually a Sith. @Wit @Sreeya @Insalius @KinkyPrawn @Darasuum

Trys had to grin at the quip about being a cop. It was clear bait, and she wasn’t going to fall for it. Being a cop out here was like putting a target on your back. She also didn’t react to the two blatantly ignoring things and trying to force their way past Vinry and Talak. She didn’t know Vinry as well, but she knew Talak would at least have things covered.

She still had her gun out, but didn’t engage, surveying the situation. Trys wasn’t as trigger happy as her comrades, and she didn’t fire any shots. Instead, she spoke to the man with the glasses while gazing at the sudden burst of actions that came from Talak and Vinry, “Get the rest of the patrons out of here through the back exit,” Trys said sternly. The man with the glasses looked as if he were about to faint from seeing violence, and she had no interest in dealing with a jelly right now when shit was about to hit the fan.

As Kai finally got the body of the injured man settled in his grasp but he felt something that wasn't entirely a surprise. Xath had been reaching for something else after he had produced his first weapon and it had not been back towards his sidearm and now Kai knew what. With his hands covered by the robes of the body he grasped a hand around the hilt. His skeletal thumb held near the activator but his arms remained otherwise in place and using the body's own robes to continue to keep the weapon the Grysk had uncovered.

Even with that in his grasp he had every intention of walking out the door without so much as any further fuss. But the Grysk knew how to read people long before he learned how to use the force. Kai's specialty, he knew when he was really pissing people off. The dark sider was at a disadvantage all the same. He couldn't really dodge well even if he dropped the man and many things were just straight up out of the question. Except the two limbs that carried him. The sparking frustration that emanated from Talak was not hidden and Kai was not hiding his force sensitive side like he did with so many others. His awareness had been turned towards the closest thing getting in his way. So he raised a panted leg closest to the kicking Jedi. The limb turned to protect Kai more like the gut reaction it was. He tried to enhance his leg as best as he could in that reactive moment though he knew it would be limited. The leg turned slightly so as to move more with the kick and spread out the surface area. But it was hard and would shift enough momentum into Malakai.

The Grysk would tip away and hop a moment as his balance neared its limit. Kai swore and managed to keep himself righted whilst hopping awkwardly while being so top heavy. His eyes shot towards Talak as the man's lightsaber ignited. "Dick" His leg was throbbing. It would be wise for him to probably get some bacta for that after he made sure the masked man didn't die though now he was beginning to think he was not going to make it.

Kai faced the space between Vinry and Talak and in doing so seeing the armored woman as well. Kai adjusted his grip on the body a little, reading himself to throw Xath or use it as a shield if need be. The aggression was increasing every moment and it was not just the knight of idealism before him. Kai didn't move immediately from where he had regained his balance. His attention was focused on what the the troublesome trio might do next. The man had taken the first swing, er, kick. He was capable of more. Kai just wanted him to be the one that gave him a good enough reason to do something other than talk. The Grysk really did not enjoy violence as a first means despite the company he kept. Arden was another matter and seemed to share many attributes with the stereotype of Mandalorians.

Malakai began to refocus on maybe taking this serious enough that he would have to actually put some effort into maneuvering. The place is more flammable than an Atlas love shack. It was an old saying that seemed rather simple to Kai. Of course a love shack made out of maps would be highly flammable. With the angle I'm holding this guy, if I activate the lightsaber first I could just bring it THROUGH this guy to protect myself. I'll be able to bring it around in time but I'll probably end up cutting this guy's arm off. eh My life's worth an arm and a leg. The thumb felt the activator switch and stared back at Talak, keeping the two women in his peripherals.

They were clearly pressing Arden's buttons and it was starting to have an effect on him. The Jedi girl stole the lightsaber right off his belt and made a snarky comment that brought a chuckle out of him. "I think the T-visor an' overcompensation of guns are a good indication of wha' I am." he quipped with a smirk. He wanted to grab the lightsaber, but there was this constant voice in the back of his mind. This wasn't his first time getting shoved around by authorities and neither would it be the last.

They were looking for a reason to shoot.

He stuck with Kai as he picked up the body and started to walk out, keeping a few steps behind him to keep some space in case something happened. He kept his body turned to keep the Jedi in his sight as well as the armoured woman in the corner of his eye. They made the first move finally when he tried to kick Kai's leg out from under him. Arden had to admit that he was surprised to see him actually resist that without dislocating his knee. "I rest my case." he quipped as his T-visor was on the Jedi.

His Mando training was telling him to draw, to let loose and burn the place down. But his mind kept him at bay. He knew what they were looking for and as much as he wanted to smash their faces through a table. The mug had been left at the table before he walked, but he kept his fists balled to stop himself from going for his gun. His placement close to Kai now gave him a much better view of the trio. Though he tried to not get ahead of himself with these people.

Besides, Kai was the boss. Unless he drew on them, reacting first might not be a good idea in this situation...

Talak felt his foot impact against skullboy's leg, and though it didn't break his knee outright, he certainly wouldn't be moving anywhere quickly.

But what had happened during his tanking the blow was what drew Talak's attention. He already recognized the man, and with that subtle fluctuation of the Force, it didn't take a rocket scientist to make a guess who the man was. There were only two options: either the man was a trained Force sensitive working inside the Syndicates who had happened to be at one of the Arcanist's slaughters without intervening but somehow Talak recognized despite never interacting with... or else he was a Sith. Statistically speaking, one was several hundred times more likely than the other.

Drop your weapons and get on the ground, Sith. You're under arrest. I won't tell you again, he said, this time, the Force with a pull yanked on the knee to force it forward in an attempt to buckle it. Already weak from the blow, it would likely give out and collapse the man under the weight of his kidnapping victim.

Now Talak had offered a second "middle ground" of ceasing and desisting. It had been turned down the first time, time to find out about the second. He didn't expect much based on how it had gone the first time. @Sreeya @Insalius @Wit @KinkyPrawn @Darasuum

Oh dear again, it was starting to get violent as the Jedi attempted to detain the two original men trying to leave with the now legless Sith. The Ranger gave him a request, though, and he would fulfill it to the letter. He held no allegiance to this woman and many other Sith would chafe at being ordered like this, but at his core, Jacob was pragmatic. He knew he wouldn't last in a fight like this and the risks far outweighed any potential benefit. So, he did as asked, pushing open the other exit, an emergency one, and shooing the innocent patrons out of there. Some wanted to stay and watch, and the bartender seemed reluctant to leave his place of employment, but the scholar grabbed each of these lollygaggers and pulled them towards the exit. He would only leave after everyone was out, as when he did something, he tried to do it well. Who knows, maybe complying with Ranger authority could net him some work in the future. He wasn't picky, if it paid the bills or led him to the knowledge he sought. Hopefully his ship was ready to go by this point.

Vin had expected the the Mandalorian to respond in some way to her taking the lightsaber away from him, but it seemed like she had somehow managed to run into a cowardly mandalorian. The Galaxy never ceased to surprise. So she just kept an eye on him as he simply started to walk, that was till Talak spoke up.

She had assumed the injured man being a Sith was a safe bet, but when Talk declared the weird looking one to be a Sith as well everything changed. Their priorities had simply gone from saving the injured Sith to dealing with one more. A Sith and his Mandalorian pet. She had heard what the Sith had done at the prison, and she had no intention of letting a repeat take place here. Regardless of the true threat levels of these two, she would deal with them like a worst case scenario.

So as Talak was attacking the Sith, Vin reached out with the Force and thrust her left hand forward to slam a Telekinetic push into the Mandalorian in an attempt to push him into the wall behind him. She would also bring her lightsaber up in front of her, held diagonally across her torso in a defensive stance. If the Mandalorian retaliated, she would be ready. Though with the sudden nature of her attack, and with no means to stop himself from getting slammed into the wall, she expected him to be disoriented for a few moments and not really be in a situation to make any sort of immediate response.

The preemptive attack was meant to minimize causalities. If Talak was able to take down the Sith, then they could easily apprehend the Mandalorian without much fuss. While if she had let the Mandalorian have his way, there was every possibility of him begining to lay down blaster fire everywhere A cornered man could easily become a desperate one.

Everything changed when Talak named the other man to be a Sith. Trys cursed under her breath and flipped her blaster to stun. She took aim and fired a single shot at the ghoulish man aimed at his left flank, the heavy stun intended to immobilize him completely. This was in concert with Talak’s attack, and she was careful in her aiming to minimize any possibility of hitting any of her allies. Even if he dropped to the ground from Talak’s attack, it would hit him in the shoulder if it impacted.

Trys was less concerned about the Mandalorian as he appeared to be a general bounty hunter. Out here, there were no real laws and she couldn’t exactly charge him with anything. However, if he jumped to help his friend, he would certainly get a helping of ‘justice’.

Kai pulled his head back a little and an offended expression displayed on his face at being called a Sith. That's what a normal criminal would do after all. His mouth opened. "I-" Kai had intended on rebutting but he saw the bruiser raise her weapon in his direction. Both eyes went wide, not really hearing the second half of the other man's words as the woman took aim. He wasn't sure when she was going to pull the trigger but things were certainly chaotic so he made sure that Xath's body was in between him and the disguised ranger. All he had to do was pivot slightly and Xath would get slapped with another stun bolt, taking the blaster bolt and just adding to his unconscious state and otherwise not affect the Grysk.

But that was it before his left leg was yanked from under him and he fell, Xath body and all onto the bar floor. He slammed down onto the ground with Xath still in his arms. The body, and associated hidden saber still in his grasp as he visibly winced at the yoinking of his leg and the subsequent jarring fall onto the ground. "No you!" He shot back quickly with a grimace. He readied himself for another aggressive action from what was supposed to be a keeper of the peace. Do it

For some reason the Jedi girl tried to send a push his way, but Arden had been watching them the whole time. So when Arden saw her hand raise towards him, he smacked his vambrace against his leg to activate his jetpack. As he was sent flying back, his jetpack immediately pushed him forward to combat the push, causing him to simply skid back a meter or two and turned slightly to his right, completely avoiding smacking into the wall behind him. She drew her lightsaber while the other two focused on Kai. But the Jedi's words took Arden by surprise.

Kai is a Sith? Of course there was no reason for him to believe them, but the fact that Jedi were saying it as well as Kai's impressive ability to avoid a dislocated knee was a little convincing. Though that didn't change much for him in the long run. He had no quarrel working for Sith, Jedi or even the Rangers if they contracted him. But in this moment, things were falling apart for them.

So Arden came to the conclusion that backing up Kai against two Jedi and a trigger happy harpy wasn't beneficial.

As soon as his jetpack died down again after the push, Arden would move in one swift and elegant motion. His right hand, hidden from view, drew a hidden blaster from behind his back, flicked the setting over to 'stun' and fired a medium bolt from the hip at Kai's back. "Sorry, sunshine." he said simply while firing. It is a quick, hidden movement and given from where he fired, hard to stop or throw him off target, especially at this range from Kai and the size of a stun bolt.

In his peripheral vision he kept an eye on the rest, in case they tried to attack him. His left arm was still ready to activate his grapple line and the combat mode on his jetpack would definitely save time to maneuver while allowing him to draw with his left hand.

Vin pushed, and almost lost control over the Force out of pure shock. The Mandalorian, for whatever reason, thought it wise to active his jetpack. While standing straight, with the jetpack on his back, with its vents pointed straight down, in a room with a ceiling. As she pushed him, he was sent flying backwards and then he activated his jetpack, into the direction of her push. Which just added to the speed with which he was sent flying backwards. The result was probably not the one the Mandalorian had been looking for, as the jetpack just tried to send him flying backwards with added speed and slammed him headfirst into the wall behind him. He rocketed backwards, her push getting an unexpected boost as he slammed into the wall almost instantly.

The hit to the head would surely knock him out, a hit that hard would have left his neck and skull damaged, leaving him paralyzed from the neck down. That sort of shock to the spine had consequences. Having hit the ceiling and then fallen down to the ground in an unconscious mess, he was unable to do any of the actions he had intended to do after his attempt to avoid her push. The sudden desire to turn on his companion, attempting to fire on him, all of it was cut short by his headbutting the wall.

To the side she could see that Talak and Trys had managed to bring the Sith down as well. So she moved towards the Mandalorian, cautiously, to make sure he was still alive. She stopped just outside the range of his arms and used the Force to gently nudge him and then sent his weapons skidding along the ground towards the Lieutenant. She waited there for a moment, observing his unconscious body with equal parts incredulity and concern.

"That is without doubt the worst Mandalorian I have ever seen."

OOC: The jetpack usage is being treated like an autohit due to how physics and impact damage works. Linking an earlier incident as support: Link

OOC Edit: Going with OOC comment: "I think it's more fair to say he would be sent flying backwards instead of upwards. So instead of being paralyzed, Vin's push would just be successful in sending him into the wall and daze him."

Trys's shot slammed into the already unconscious man, but the Sith was already going down, and the grip around his knee tightened and spread, wrapping around the Sith's body as it would hold him to the ground. With the Sith having fallen forward onto the ground, it was just a matter of keeping him there.

And he would. He would hold the man down to the ground and restrain him as the grip wrapped around his whole body and in only a moment prevent him from moving altogether.

With some form of chaos unfolding behind him, Talak hoped his partners had it under control. He didn't realize how well it was going, in fact, having paralyzed the enemy, and leaving Talak to just have to deal with the Sith in front of him. @Sreeya @Wit @KinkyPrawn @Darasuum

Trys lowered her gun, surprised at the turn of events as the Mando turned on his ally and then promptly slammed into a wall. She didn’t put her gun away, however, intending to shoot if the man still posed a threat. He wasn’t exactly a concern, but the other two were.

“So….what do we do with them?” She would ask if the situation was under control. It felt strange because she technically didn’t have authority out here, but the Jedi could invoke that wherever they went. It was their show now, and she would follow their lead.

From the ground Kai tried to right himself. But his body didn't move even as his muscles continued to tense. He grunted and strained, the teeth pressed together, gritting from the effort. The Jedi was restraining his entire body it would seem. Kai was defiant still and not about to give in so continued to try, seeking the slightest hint of reduced coverage. But it did not feel like he had a ton of weight ontop of him, just an invisible presence keeping him from moving in any desired direction. So this is what it feels like.

Arden's plans didn't play out the way he expected. His jetpack's angle worked against him as he was sent further back. Thankfully it happened too quickly for him to realize how embarrassing his mistake was.

He flew into the wall, knocked out instantly by the impact. But the snap that intermingled with the sound of durasteel crashing into the wall made quite clear what a costly mistake he had made. His body crashed onto the ground as he laid motionless. The only indication that he was still alive was the raspy breathing that was heard through his helmet. He was entirely unconscious and unable to feel the sheer terror of losing all control of his body.

He was left to the mercy of his captors now...

Talak's grip around the Sith continued to tighten. Combined with the weight of the body and without the man' resisting with the Force, he was fully restrained within moments. Talak didn't fancy a game of tug of war until he wore out, however.

He looked up at Trys (@Sreeya) and nodded down at the man on the ground. She knew him well enough to know that it was an indication he wanted her to stun him and knock him out properly. After that was done, it would all be over, and they would all be going in for some questioning and some arrest. He hadn't expected hunting Sith to be quite like this, but he wasn't afraid of doing it. This was his path now, and he was committed to it. No turning back. And he didn't want to.

"Guy doesn't know when to quit," Trys muttered quietly as she took a few steps to the side, found an angle and shot a heavy stun blast at Kai. This would be enough to knock him out cold. The Ranger looked over at the unconscious Mandalorian, "Truth be told, I have no reason to take that one in. He was more a nuisance than anything," She jutted her chin towards the other two, "But those two will probably fall under your control for whatever you want to do," She looked mainly at Vinry. The woman probably had a much better idea of Jedi procedures than Talak did.

Vin walked up to the Mandalorian and knelt besides him to feel his pulse. Not knowing the true severity of the injuries the encounter had caused him, she assumed he was simply knocked out and after taking away his weapons, she got up and walked towards the other two.

"He's unarmed now, so the medical teams can take a look at him and unless he's wanted for something he can probably walk free." She said about the Mandalorian, before coming to a stop besides the two downed Sith and kneeling besides the one missing limbs and checking to see if he was at any risk of bleeding out. But his wounds had mostly been cauterized by the same bolts that had torn them off, so besides those injuries he seemed to be mostly stable.

"The Council will probably want to question them, the more we know about these Sith the better."

That was when the sounds of an approaching speeder heralded the imminent arrival of the medical team they had requested.

Kai could tell the others were getting closer. He let the lightsaber hilt go and it set to look like it had remained on Xath's body. It was all he could manage before he went unconscious from the stun bolts fired into his back. The rest went beyond his senses.

@Sreeya @Phoenix @Wit @KinkyPrawn he's KO'd for the rest of the thread. No need to wait for me to post.
