The Chief Tusken's Staff is a relic from the past made by the first Tusken chiefs from long ago. Made from materials that are long gone from when the planet was a tropical paradise before the Rakatan came and turned it into a desert wasteland. Or so the stories say.
The staff is more of a symbolic item with the appearance of the staff varying between the many Tusken tribes. Meaning there is only one of this item per tribe. Some may have been stolen by Outsiders when they attack Tusken tribes. However due to the vastness of Tatooine's desert there is no telling how many Tusken Raider tribes there are. Therefore it is unknown how many of these items exist.
An Outsider who is found with one will find himself or herself aggressively attacked by the Tusken Raiders that make the discovery. However while the beating they will get is on the extreme side. The being will be left alive and dragged to their campsite. Either the person will be immediately sacrificed to a nearby Great Krayt Dragon or made a slave where he or she will endure torturous slave work befofe finally being sacrificed. Although how a Chieftain punishes the outsider varies between the many tribes.
With this item members of the tribe knows who their chief is along with Tuskens from other tribes as well as Outsiders. The Chief of the tribes is usually a male Tusken Raider. The one thing that is different from most Outsider societies is that the next chief isn't chosen from the past chief's family. Instead a new chief from a different family is chosen. Usually a male Tusken who has shown himself worthy of the role.
Key areas a Tusken must prove himself worthy.
1. He must show himself as being able to remain level headed (calm) in combat in times of crisis.
2. Make reasonable decisions at all times. Even during times of great stress.
3. Proof that he will be the tribe's greatest defender.
4. Be able to hold down the laws and traditions of the tribe.
5. When unable to finish a task on his own or unable to reach a conclusion about something he is willing to seek help or guidance from members of the tribe.
6. Has gained wisdom and knowledge during his adventures and missions.
Special note:
This item can only be obtained from a mission thread(s) when they have obtained level 3 ranking and a good standing reputation.
