When preparing to enter a new role-play thread, please take note about whether the thread is "Open", "Closed", "Invite" or "Ask". Here is what each type of role-play thread means:
OPEN: Anyone who wants to join may do so
CLOSED: No one may join other than those already involved
INVITE: You may only enter if you have been invited by the thread creator
ASK: You must ask the thread creator if you can join
Again, please pay attention to whether a thread is one of these four. If the thread creator does not specify which one of these his/her thread is, it WILL be assumed that the thread is Open and there will be no complaining about it if someone else enters your thread.
