Pls only join within reason and in ways to enrich the story. Not looking for boring pvp.

"Got visual on The Cradle? Is it the same officials that were going in yesterday?"

He commed Cedric, one of the best snipers he had ever worked with. The son of a bitch could pop a fly out of the air from miles away. There were rumors he was Force sensitive or some shit, but Vash knew raw skill when he saw it. Delta squad had been holed up in an abandoned compound for several weeks, keeping a low profile as they prepared for their target. This was a dangerous and risky op, but that was exactly why Delta was out here and not pansy ass Bravo or Echo. There were some intelligence operatives on the planet as well, but they were tasked with extracting information diplomatically. He and his team were the cavalry, and they would act when the time was right.

Lt. Barns strolled into the compound, munching on a tuna sandwich, "Ya know," He said mid chew, "This planet has some sweet spots, so I dunno how we got stuck in this shithole babysittin' some stupid building."

Vash chuckled as he put his binocs down, "We're always in shitholes, Barns. Part of the job."

He walked over and picked up his datapad, "Apparently the contact is just a kid," He said as he began to punch through the data, "Undercover Jedi. They sure do start 'em young."

"Weren't you doing ops while at your fancy academy?"

"Yeah, I was put in charge of dumbasses like you," Vash flashed Barns a grin. The man simply rolled his eyes and stuffed his face full of tuna.

"Darts, quit jerking off and talk to me. Status?" He commed Cedric again.

The crosshairs calmly followed after the small group of officials. The intersection would slide to the lead of the group, the magnification allowing the details of his face to be seen. With a slow drag, each member of the group was examined before the sight zoomed out. Vash's voice came through once more as Cedric opened his other eye and loosened his trigger finger, "Aye, same old fucks, Bones. Nothing new."

The sniper was currently prone and on top of a long table positioned in front of a window within an abandoned room, a few feet away so his barrel wouldn't stick out. A backpack was placed at the end of his little nest, providing a platform for his rifle. Once he reported in, Cedric closed his second eye as his crosshairs locked on the lead official again, a soft exhale leaving his lungs that Vash could hear, "It would be so easy..." Before he had joined Delta, the shot would have been taken as he hunted VIPS as an agent but those days were gone. Vash's commands were law and he was one of the only few men that Cedric actually listened to and respected. They had fought together enough for him to know not to question his friend, even when his finger got antsy. The man got them through thick and thin constantly.

Normally, silence would have returned back over comms but that's when Cedric's voice would rip through, "Shit Barns, you can't eat with your mouth closed?" Besides rain, the sound of chewed tuna just replayed in his ear. The soldier just chuckled and shrugged his massive shoulders beside Vash, "I'm hungry and you're lovely reports don't feed me." If there was an undeniable fact in the galaxy, it was Barnes always being hungry.

Deciding not to die on that hill, Cedric checked in with Maverick, "You intercept anything yet?" Crackling could be heard but not from their line, a feminine voice coming through. "Couple patrols, I got my eyes on them. Boss, am I searching for a message from our guy, or is he dark?" Before he could answer, a comment came out with a soft scoff, "He better come through..." Cedric had heard all about the Jedi's reliability recently.

“Don’t pop them,” Vash said sternly when Darts responded. He knew the man was itching to kill some Sith, but there was a time and place. Delta didn’t get this far without learning some hard lessons about being impulsive. They lost a few good soldiers along the way, and those dog tags served as a reminder to the rest of the team what it cost to be who they were.

“He’s gonna be dark. We plan details once we get the schematics,” (@Phoenix ) Vash commed Maverick, hearing Cedric’s grumbling again. He couldn’t help but chuckle, “These aren’t the typical Jedi. They only pick the smart ones to work in Sith space, He explained. He didn’t know what they were called, just that it was some type of special ops force for Jedi. He would take that any day over the usual tree hugging and Wookiee parachuting bunch.

“All right, Darts, get down here,” He said, walking over to call everyone in to brief them on a plan while he waited for the Jedi to send him the specs he needed. Things were quiet to where they could afford to gather before returning to post. Cameras had been set up to detect any movement outside the compound regardless. Once they were all around, he glanced at everyone.

“As a reminder,” He said, his expression quite serious, “I want to avoid all young casualty if possible. We will coordinate the strike with a day off when only the instructors are congregated for lesson planning. This needs to be a quick in and out, no back and forth fighting. We can’t blow our covers. Any questions?”

This operation had been in the planning for some time now, and it had given Varyn time to "see to" the fact that he was temporarily transferred to the Kaas academy. As such, it was only logical for him to need a map of the facility so he didn't get lost.

Of course, Varyn wasn't stupid enough to download the data himself. No, he'd gotten one of the facility's droids to do it for him. He used an unlinked datacard to download the information out of the astromech. Oh, and was it a coincidence that he had picked a droid that was due for its memory wipe today? No, it wasn't an accident.

He pulled the datacard from the droid's dataslot and let it go on its way, watching from a distance as it made its way over to the technician's shop to have its memory erased. Of course, it was really unnecessary. Nothing that Varyn had done was suspicious at all, but he just liked the extra layer of security that said "no one will remember you at all." It was better this way, and he slipped the datacard in his pocket.

He made his way back in the direction of his quarters to slip into his armor, giving himself anonymity for the next step of the job. On an Imperial heart world, no one batted an eye at an Imperial in armor. Particularly not when you were in the "academy and command" district. He'd just be one more of a few dozen people on patrol.

People filed in and out of the building, Cedric scanning each one of them with his crosshair as he listened to the conversation. Upon hearing that this was one of the smart ones, the corner of his mouth creased into a smirk, "No wonder it's just one in there." After Kashyyk, the selection pool for these special ops Jedi must have been incredibly small if existent at all.

After being called in, Cedric replied calmly, "Copy that," before he swung his legs off the table and got off. The backpack was slipped onto his shoulder as he kicked the table to the side of the room. His nest dismantled, he made his way to the empty elevator shaft, a rappel system already in place as he hooked himself to it and slid all the way down to the bottom.

Eventually, Cedric entered the room as he slipped through a busted doorway, his rifle loosely hanging in his hands. He angled toward where the others were gathered, his foot sticking out as he dragged a random chair for the few feet. It was swung to be in front of him as he sat down, his rifle horizontal on his lap as he rested his elbows on it like a table.

Bones reminded them exactly how tight this OP needed to be. Cedric didn't fault him, one mistake and they would wake up an entire hornet's nest. After the words, he gave an upward nod to the captain, "Storm will be getting hairier by the hour. It won't be pleasant but it will make our approach easier." Blaster bolts or rain? He chose the latter.

Upon hearing about the storm and about how this should be handled, she directed her attention to Bones, "And if it gets hot? Do we already have an idea about our exfill? Cedric cocked his head before offering to her without a glance, "Run like hell?"

Vash placed a cigarra between his lips and ignited it as the others filed into the room. For a moment he focused on the drumming of the rain against the walls of the compound, an almost pleasing noise. Their exit strategy was risky, and most of it involved his entire team getting out before he would. He knew he would have to fight tooth and nail to quell the protests this would cause, but an order was an order.

“If shit gets hairy, we scatter,” He said simply. They all knew what that meant, they had to do it many times prior. Vash blew out a puff of spoke, “I’m gonna get in touch with our favorite spook girl,” He said as he stepped away briefly to comm their intelligence contact (@Altaris).

“Hey,” He said simply, “We’re primed and ready. Weather is shit, but shouldn’t hamper your boys dropping off the goods,” Vash paused for a moment, clearing his throat, “And… hope you’re doin’ all right,” He added much quieter. He didn’t linger there too long, awaiting her answer before walking back to the boys.

Meanwhile Barnes was brandishing a soggy tuna sandwich in Cedric's face, “Dude, don’t knock it till you try it. Come on man.”

“Ewww, his breath is gonna be rank from eating that.”

“What?” Barnes said, eyes suddenly wide, “But I just ate one…”

“And that’s why you ain’t kissing anyone anytime soon,” Maverick snickered.

Akira had been working behind enemy lines for weeks now, all in preparation for this day. It had taken quite a bit of work to secure herself a position within the academy - just a lowly, part time janitorial job - but the payoffs of getting inside proved to be immediately well-worth the effort. As part of the cleaning crew, it provided her access to scheduling information and when the facilities would be empty - sans the senior instructors and a small contingent of security.

The Togruta had preemptively taken a sick-day from her usual shift, knowing ahead of time what was coming. The moment that her commlink buzzed, Akira was casually sitting in an outdoor seating ahead of a coffee shop - nursing a mug between her hands. She glanced down at the encrypted, unmarked number - knowing immediately who it was. “Hey,” She said in a simple reply, lifting her wrist up to speak into the commlink. The cafe around her was almost entirely empty, save for a few university-aged students that were studying. None of them were within earshot of anything Akira said.

“Everything is in order on my end, rain or shine.” With that, Akira swiped across her comlink - scrolling for a few seconds before sending a quick message to her fellow operatives. She waited for the response before turning back to address Vash. “My boys are in route to your location with the payload. You’ll have to take it from there.” She said. She knew the risk that Vash and the other members of Delta were putting themselves in.But this was part of the job. And she trusted them to be able to get it done. “You’ll have your opening in two hours. Everyone will be out of the facility, except for patrols and senior faculty to do routine lesson planning.” They wouldn’t have much time to do complete their task and get out, but it would be enough.

Akira didn’t miss the last thing that Vash said, causing her lips to tug up slightly. “Yeah, I’m good.” She lightly thumbed her finger across her commlink. “..Better after hearing from you.” She added with a smile.

As promised, Delta squad wouldn't have to wait much longer for Akira's operatives to arrive at the compound. The pair of speeders - loaded down with two covered crates -purposefully cut through low-trafficked streets and back alleyways, carefully Imperial patrols or anyone else who might question the cargo they were carrying. From his perch, Cedric would have full view of the men as they approached the back of the compound, and would immediately know who they were.

Varyn suited up in a suit of IDF armor and left his room shortly thereafter. The armor was devoid of any IFF tags and he had no trouble making it out of the academy.

The trip to the dead drop was relatively easy. The weather wasn't great, but the streets still had people milling about. Other soldiers could be seen on their patrols, and Sith could be found passing by. Civilians, local contractors, and nonmilitary employees were making their way in and out as well.

He passed down the street, heading in the direction of the agreed upon location and eventually taking a left down one of the alleyways. The alley was clear, and he barely slowed his pace when he tossed a small paper towel with the datachip inside into the dumpster. As if finishing a meal and tossing aside and unused napkin, he kept pressing onward.

He turned the corner out onto the next street, continuing a pattern similar to what one might expect if he were on patrol and made his way up and down the streets before starting to head back in the direction of the academy.

Upon hearing they would just have to scatter, Cedric just leaned back as his helmet would smack the pillar behind him lightly. The guess had been correct. His face couldn't be seen but all of them let out a soft collective groan, each with their own story of why they hated it. For him, one time he had been hidden in a muddy ravine for three days, pissing and shitting himself, until he could be exfilled out. After he had been picked up, it was considered a blessing that he had been drenched in mud to mask the other smells.

Barns came over with the sandwich as they all wrestled with the strategy, practically shoving it in Cedric's face which made him lean away. The fact the man lived off those nearly made him gag. Maverick chimed in to his defense and they could hear the lopsided grin underneath his helmet as he spoke, "Surprisingly, even your sandwiches could ruin my chances. I want ladies crawling all over me, not running away in fear."

Barn's snickered as he smacked him on the shoulder, "Oh yeah, just like they are now?" Another bite of the sandwich was taken. That's when Cedric gave a shrug, "I am sitting next to you, big guy."

Before the two could go further, one of the motion sensors tripped to new arrivals. Cedric stood up from his chair as he checked the feed of the cams, two speeders drawing into the compound. "Vandal, pick it up? Meet with you in a sec."

As the two speeders pulled into the compound, a fifth Delta squad member stepped out from the alley, his rifle held in one hand. "I got it." Vandal stared at the two drivers, waiting there silently until they got the idea, unloading the cargo for him. When they finished, he gestured his head in a random direction, "Get out of here." Once the two speeders left, Cedric would arrive himself, the two exchanging fist-bumps casually. "Let's get it inside."

After a few minutes, the two would carry the crate into the room, one on each side before simply dropping it in the center of the group. Vandal activated the flashlight on his rifle, aiming the barrel slightly off the crate as Cedric opened it so they could examine the explosives.

“Our Life Day gifts are on the way,” Vash told the others. Barnes immediately looked up.

“How’s she doin’? Did she ask about me?” He asked between mouthfuls of tuna. Vash quirked a brow.

“Oh yeah,” He said, his face deadpan, “She said she couldn’t wait to eat some of your tuna sandwiches.”

“For real?”

“Oh yeah man. Said she wants to spend a nice quiet evenin’ with just you and she’ll even wear that black dress she wore at the joint forces gala.”

“Shut up,” Barnes' jaw dropped, “No she didn’t!”

“Nah, she didn’t,” Vash grinned.

“God damn it!” Barnes yelled, scowling and crossing his arms in a pout. Vash and the others simply laughed in response. Vash shook his head before turning to Cedric as he walked over to inspect the presents. Everything looked to be in order. He clapped Cedric on the shoulder, “Make preparations to move out. The schematics would have been left at the drop zone. I’m going to go pick it up.”

WIth that, Vash left the compound. He, like the rest of his unit, appeared as any Imperial. He walked with a confident stride as if he owned the place, and he knew to respectfully bow to Sith. Vash ignored the rain, making his way into the alley. A glance around revealed he was alone before he reached in and retrieved the specific crumpled up napkin. Vash continued to walk and paused as two Imperials began to cross the alley.

The team had certainly been gifted a stash of presents. Top-of-the-line equipment was in the crate, perfectly protected from the elements and ready to be used by them. Cedric felt a clap on his shoulder before being given the order to prepare, his response a nod before he said, "Aye."

As Vash left the room, Cedric would hook his boot into one of the straps of his backpack before sliding it over to the crate. "Alright kids, be nice. It should be an even split." The others dropped their bags near the crate as well, each one stuffing it with explosives and the different variations of them.

"Breach, therm, controlled... Goddamn." Vandal murmured out, Cedric having just stuffed his own and Vash's at that point. A chuckle escaped from him, "The people do love spectacle." Once the two bags were filled, he threw them on a nearby table, placing his rifle down as well while he unzipped his clothing. "Mav, what do our ears tell us?"

While she listened to the radio, a garbled tone at first before voices would periodically come through, Cedric would change into his Imperial clothing. He was dressed more like a soldier as he attached the pieces of armor and stowed his rifle away in the bag. By the time she answered, he was already in another uniform, "Rotating westward, our path is clearing."

The news given, everyone's munitions checked and equipment prepared, Cedric made his way over to the window, comming Vash with his gauntlet, "Prepped and ready Bones. The window is open for us, a good breeze coming through." The final piece left would be the schematics and the captain picking up his share.

Varyn made his way along the streets, making it back to the academy without any further issue. He let out a quiet sigh as he made his way through the halls of the academy, making his way to one of the side doors and hitting a switch.

Just like that, the door way unlocked and he walked away. He knew what was going to be coming, and he knew that he would be here when it did. His room was far enough from the target that he wouldn't be caught in the blast.

A quick path through the halls and he had made it back to his room, stripping off his armor and breathing another sigh. His heart was pounding and his muscles were tense. Months undercover and it felt like his nerves were fraying more than ever. But now he was really doing something that went against the Empire and risked his cover.

He needed a shower. And that was exactly how he occupied his time waiting for the inevitable. A nice, hot shower to wash away the fear and relax his tense muscles. Yep.

Akira glanced down at her commlink as the call ended, allowing her gaze to linger there as time ticked on. She had completed her side of the operation, and all that was left to do was wait for Delta Squad to see the rest of the job through. As per usual, she felt that faint bit of anxiety that welled up in her as she waited - manifesting in the way she lightly tapped the edge of her coffee cup.

This wasn’t Akira’s first time behind enemy lines, and she was intimately aware of the risk they all put themselves in. And they were risks every single one of them signed onto willingly .Because this is how they struck out against the Empire. This is how they made a difference in this war - and it made every risk worth it to Akira.

A few minutes ticked by before Akira received a second ping on her comlink, alerting her that the payload had been dropped at the Compound. She quickly typed up a reply to her operatives, sending coordinates back to the spaceport and the specific bay where a cargo freighter was waiting for them. It was scheduled to depart for Bonadan, and from there would ferry them both back to FWA space. It would be one more weight off her shoulder knowing that both operatives were safely off the planet and outside of Imperial territory.

With that, the Togruta finished off the cup of cat she’d been nursing, sliding the ceramic cup towards the center of the table - alongside a few credit chips as a tip. She rose from her seat and began the walk back towards her hotel. Within minutes, she passed through the building entrance and arrived back at her room - stepping through the door and letting it lock behind her.

The Togruta set down her belongings and made proceeded to make her way onto the balcony - willingly stepping out into the increasingly heavy storm. There was something therapeutic about the feeling of the rain against her face - helping to relax her muscles and put her mind at ease. Her amber eyes remained fixed out onto the Dromund Kaas skyline and the Academy in the foreground - patiently waiting for what was inevitably coming.

“Good luck.” She muttered quietly.

Not everyone enjoyed wading in the downpour, waiting patiently for the perfect shot. While most of her fellow Rebels were in doors, Yulia had taken a vantage point from the top of a building that was currently under construction. Laying prone on a creaking wooden board, her aim was steady and her composure was calm. While her fellow operatives were talking over the coms, Yulia had been watching a ways away from where the operation was to take place.

Her job was to give these admirable men cover fire in the event that things went to hell. Not that she wished everything went to hell, but Yulia did want in on a piece of the action. For now, all she was to do was wait in the rain, with her sights scanning the area for intrusive looking figures that could've been thinking that something wasn't right. That was what made her job difficult. Deciding whether or not civilian has a bomb strapped under his coat to blow up her comrades below her, or if her was just a civilian.

Yes, she was a good couple hundred meters away from her victims, but for her, she was up close and personal. Through her scope, she could see scars, birth marks, neatly trimmed beards, the kind of earrings people liked, the color of their eyes, even. At the end of the day, wars were fought by men and women on both sides who rather be someplace else.

"This is Ghost. Your backs are watched under my eyes." Her heavy accent filtered through the coms as she watched her comrades walk out into the rain towards the target. There was a patrol on the block below her but they were too far away to be threat as of yet. Nevertheless, Yulia kept her eyes on them just in case.

Vash heard the comms come in, “Copy, I’m on my way back,” He said as he observed the Imperials walking by. He heard Ghost come in, “Keep an eye on the patrol. Distract if needed,” He said. However, from the looks of it, the patrol appeared largely uninterested in engaging a fellow Imperial walking through the alley. Vash confidently strode past them and back towards the hideout, ensuring that he wasn’t followed. He would be counting on Ghost to keep an eye out.

It wasn’t long till he returned to the others and he quickly plugged in the datacard. At once, they all had the schematics of the target building. Vash pointed to one of the loading bay exits, “This will be our entrance. The contact should have left it open,” He looked at the others, knowing what they were gonna ask, “Yes, I trust this guy. He’s risking a lot to let us in. More than any of us."

With that, Vash sent them all the schematics to their datapads. They all had Imperial uniforms to change into and the explosives were stacked into normal cargo repulsors.

“All right, move out,” He said as the group began to disperse. Vash and a few others would be going in to plant the packs, but they would need a few to keep eyes on their surroundings.

With Vash's return, the rest of the Delta squad would be geared in their Imperial outfits. The bags they had filled were thrown into the cargo repulsors to aid their guise. Schematics were sent to each team member and after a quick inspection, all of them looked up at Vash silently, the question already formed in their heads but waiting to see who would ask it first.

That's when Vash answered and said they could trust the guy but Cedric was the type to wait and see. The team left the abandoned building and closed in on their target, The Cradle. With the uniforms, they were allowed easily through, a helmet on all of them to hide their identity. Cedric, Vash, and Vandal would be making their way inside while Maverick and Barns stayed outside under the watchful gaze of Ghost.

The entry team approached the loading bay area, finding one of the exits to be half-open and easy enough for them to be let through. Once all three slipped inside, not a word would be spoken as they would just need to offer a glance to each other before going their own ways. Cedric took the east end of the building, Vash the western end, and Vandal the northern end. With the schematics, they could easily find the structural weak points of the Cradle that would just need a simple push for it to tumble.

Cedric easily mingled with and past the guards as he knew the in and out of military life. After a few conversations and salutes, he would find himself alone and at one of the weak points marked. With quiet steps and graceful moments, an explosive was pulled out from his bag before he planted it on the pillar and faced away from the entryways to not be easily spotted. He would then move on, starting to plant more with the same technique and speed.

So far, everything was going as planned. The patrol was lingering below Yulia and hadn't made any moves on the target zone. Being the last out was common for the sniper. She was used to it by now, however, and she didn't mind being patient. If the patrol wasn't going to move, then the explosion would draw their attention and Yulia could slip away like she always did.

The rain seemed to chill out, though it was still very much raining, but it wasn't the intense downpour it had been before. Not that it made a big difference, but the heavy rain was going to mask her escape, so she'd have to play things a little safer this time.

But, something caught her eye a block away from the target zone. Yulia stared down her scope to get a better look. It was some sort of imperial garbed in a blood red uniform and it was heading toward the building her comrades were in.

"We have situation. Three o'clock." Then, Yulia spotted the familiar circular hilt of a lightsaber. "Inquisitorious. Move with haste, comrades." She kept her sights set on the Sith's helmet but kept her finger off the trigger. "I have shot on target. Awaiting execution order..."

Varyn got out of his probably irresponsible shower and remembered the whole building was going to blow up.

He'd be fine.

He grabbed his things and left, looking back at empty academy and headed... "out to drink." A safe distance away.

They entered the building and scattered at once, finding different places to plant their payload. Proton bombs were planted at various structures throughout the building, every man and woman working discreetly. The building was almost entirely empty save for the instructors that were gathered on the top level. Vash heard the warning about the Inquisitors coming in, but he didn’t respond just yet, telling the team to wrap things up.

“Divert them if you can,” He finally commed Ghost back. Vash also got in touch with their contact, ensuring that he was out of the building.

“All right, Delta, clear out!” Vash commed the rest of the team before making his way out of the building. They all had to rapidly make their exit from the same entrance that was open, quickly shuffling out. At this point, it didn’t matter if there were other Imperials wandering around in alleys, their job was done inside.

The group was way out of range in no time and Vash pulled up the comlink routed to all the bombs. He commed the others, “Everyone clear?” He waited till each individual checked in and they had clearance from Akira on peripherals.

“3…2…1..”

Vash clicked the button.

SeptWOWpic.jpg

A massive explosion erupted, sending up thick columns of fire and smoke. In one fell swoop, the Dromund Kaas Sith academy was completely leveled. Along with it, multiple high ranking Sith instructors and officials died, but no students had been in the academy then. Vash didn’t stick around for the show.

“Everybody scatter and initiate extraction protocol,” Vash commed the others, quickly abandoning their warehouse. They had already cleared any individual evidence before starting the operation. The Sith would take a devastating blow from this, and there would be a huge disruption to acolyte training and housing. It was the first time the Alliance had landed a hit on the Sith, and there was no doubt word would get around.

But for now, the Onderon Delta Team was focused on making themselves scarce.

Minutes ticked by, and Akira didn’t budge from her perch on the hotel balcony - amber eyes fixed onto the academy in the distance. While she wasn’t in any position to physically help Delta in distributing the payload, the Togruta continued to provide the team continuous updates throughout their time inside the facility - up until the moment she gave Vash the clear to detonate the bombs.

And then it happened. Within a split second, the air was filled with the sound of explosions going off in rapid succession - the once proud academy on the horizon instantaneously enveloped in the brilliant glow of the proton explosion and flames clashing - plumes of black smoke billowing upwards to dominate the skyline. And just like that - in one fell stoke - the Alliance had finally struck back against the Empire - hitting them where it hurts, and in a way that would sense ripples across the galaxy.

After Firrerre, Taris and Kashyyyk.. It felt good. It felt like they finally had a fighting chance in this war.

Of course, Akira didn’t have the luxury of savoring their success for more than a split second - knowing full well that authorities would immediately swarm the site of the explosion, and Vash and the others were still waiting for extraction from the site. Lifting the commlink on her wrist, Akira opened an encrypted communications channel with members of Delta - her voice suddenly relaying through their earpieces.

“Alright, time to get the hell out of dodge,” Akira said, bringing up the holographic map on her datpad to begin coordinating their escape from the scene. The IIA had already done the due diligence of tapping into comms channels for the local authorities, and were tracking their movements in hopes of keeping Delta one step ahead at all times.

“Local EMS and Impies are already en route to the academy, coming from the north. Start making your way south towards the residential district. Keep a low profile, keep out of sight.” until you get closer to the extraction points. Whether it meant blending in with the crowds of scurrying civilians or slipping through the back alleyways, it was imperative that the members of Delta did their best to remain unnoticeable in the wake of the explosion.

After a few additional moments of walking, Akira’s voice would ring in their ears once again. “There is an abandoned factory coming up two clicks east of your position - start making your way in that direction for extraction.” She paused for a moment, amber eyes scanning the map and where Imperial troopers were being deployed. “There is a truck behind the building. My boys will get you out of the city and onto a shuttle parked a few miles out.” They would need to haul ass to reach their escape vehicle and get out of the city before everything went into lockdown.

Once the members of Delta reached the extraction zone that Akira had guided them to, they would find an unmarked cargo-trucked parked and waiting for them. There was a pair of droids positioned in the driver's and passengers seats, and members of the team would be forced to hop into the cargo compartment of the truck to be transported out of the city.

Of course, they would quickly realize they weren’t the only things being transported out of the city. Taking up the other two-thirds of the room were a multitude of barrels marked as ‘live seafood’. A quick peak inside would reveal dozens of fleek eels, still alive, swimming within the water.

After a moment to get settled in, Akira’s voice once more rang in their ears. “..You’re gonna need to get in the barrels while passing through security. The multiple lifeforms throws off scanners and prevents you from being seen.”
