DESCRIPTION​

The Upsilon III is the successor to the Upsilon-Class Command Shuttle of the First Order, itself designed as the successor to the original Lambda Class Shuttles. The original was designed as both a personal transport for high ranking officials of the First Order as well as a command and control ship for planetary attacks. The Upsilon III has expanded on this, by installing a powerful Communication Suite and System Wide Scanner both tuned into a state of the art computer network giving the ship an impressive view over any planet or system it finds itself in.

Due to the power and sensitivity of the shuttles sensor systems these are stored in the tips of its giant wings, as far from the occupants as possible due to residual radiation given off whilst in use. Its offensive output is minimal often relying on escorting fighters for protection, the dual laser cannons mainly used to help clear landing zones on approach.

Along with a powerful set of forward and rear deflector shields for defence, the Upsilon was fitted with an anti-projectile deflection system, which was a series of high powered jammers in upper wing assembly. These were designed to interfere with missiles guidance systems causing them to detonate early or veer off target.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. The Upsilon III are classified as military weapons under Galactic law, and are subject to extra licensing requirements and increased scrutiny by authorities. Additionally, they are restricted to characters in the Sith Order, or Sith Order aligned characters.

INTENT​

To update a Cannon Shuttle and move it over onto the site fannon and expand the Sith Order's dedicated arsenal.

RESTRICTIONS​

The Upsilon III is available only to characters who are part of the Sith Order faction.
