SPEED/MANEUVERABILITY
Any UV-32 model boasts a top speed of 105 MGLT (more with modifications). This is a 10 MGLT speed boost from its ancestor the UT-60D U-Wing. The maximum atmospheric speed has increased exponentially from the original 950 KPH (590 mph) to an astounding 1100 KPH (683 mph). However, this speed is only recommended if in hot pursuit and all vehicle owners must fly and operate based on planetary speed rules.

  • Taim & Bak KX12 Laster cannons (2) fixed position to the front of the ship (UV-32G Model)
  • M-45 Repeating Ion Blaster "Roba" (2) - Optional - Mounted to either door side to provide optimal support for troop transport (UV-32G + UV-32K Model)

  • Class 1 Hyperdrive Unit (1)
  • Targeting System: Fabritech ANq 2.9 tracking computer with IN-344-B "Sightline" holographic imaging system

  • Engine Units: Incom 5J.2 fusial thrust engines (3)

DESCRIPTION
Incom Corporation kept the inside as much the same as they did from the original UT-60D U-Wing. The pilots sit up on a ledge overlooking the glass cockpit, the wings are stretch out over the side angles of either side which has some limited sight lines but allows for a better aerodynamic ship. Down the small incline to the seating area are five chairs back to back (these can be removed). Doors open on either side of the chairs for easy troop deployment. The back of the ship is netted in and has a few lockers available for storage, as well as an easy release panel to store things below the floor. Above that is a quick access to the small electrical components to the engine.

LEGALITY
The UV-32G and UV-32K Models are restricted under galactic law. The Civilian Model, the UV-32E is open for the free market and is usually allowed everywhere unless modified. It is rare you will see any of the 32G or 32K models in the inner rim with private bounty hunters as they are subject to high scrutiny by law enforcement.

INTENT
I wanted to create this for my character and to give the U-Wing an updated specifications list. I based this primarily on the U-Wing's design only moving certain things up by a few points for what I thought would be the norm in this age of Star Wars. The U-Wing is one of my favorite new ships added into lore and I've always wanted to play around with this idea some. Factions can use this for ground battles, as well as independent characters. It sits somewhere between starfighter and light freighter.
