DESCRIPTION​

The biggest ship so far produced by M4-78 and by far the most powerful. The UXD-X231 Pattern "Devestator" Destroyer is virtually identical to the Aggressor class Destroyer in terms of stats and power. In addition to the normal array of heavy firepower, this ship likewise mounts the fixed forward Proton Beam Cannon, which cannon charges for several minutes before firing a devastating blast of energy. Although not a super laser, it can outright devastate if not destroy most vessels, earning the large vessel it's moniker 'Devestator".

The X231 also very little in the way of point defense, leaving them weaker to smaller nimble craft such as fighters. Although on the flipside it's heavy weapons make it very good at dealing with capital ships frigates or higher. The proton beam cannon allows it to challenge other ships of even a higher class than it.

Unlike the other vessels manufactured by the droid world, this vessel is designed to accommodate organics and be able to have them aboard as proper crew, although droids can fill the rolls of the more menial roles easily. Even so, the ship has a large optimal crew requirement to do it's size and complexity.

Although these ships are built by the droid world, these are sold and marketed by Blackwell Driveworks. These vessels are really rare and expensive, being manufactured of only a few quantities - even with an abundance of resources and droid labor - due to the massive scale of these ships.

LEGALITY​

Restricted. UXD-X231 "Devestator" Destroyers are classified as capital ships under Galactic law, and possess heavy weapons. As such, civilian owners will require extra licensing to operate one legally, and will receive increased scrutiny by authorities. Even then, they are ridiculously expensive to operate; only a relatively large faction or decently well-off planetary government would be able to afford it without swiftly bankrupting themselves. An individual would stand no chance.

RESTRICTIONS​

UXD-X231 "Devestator" Destroyers are large capital ships with heavy weapons, and capital ships cannot be owned or operated by individual characters. They may be acquired as a faction asset with staff oversight.
