BIOGRAPHY

Venthis Habrak was born on Dromund Kaas to a patriotic and faithful family. They were incredibly loyal to their world and to its history, most of which was deeply entrenched in its unyielding loyalty to the Sith. Though the centuries had left any such traces to come and go, the family held in its trust to the prophecy of the return of the Sith. They were not force users themselves, and worked for the estates, they had a tradition of fighting for what they believed in.

Venthis Habrak may have joined the ranks of educators like his mother, or perhaps gone into medicine such as his father. Venthis opted to join the defense forces of the world, keeping out the smugglers and thieves, while maintaining order amongst would be dissidents. As an officer in the militia he was charged with many duties, and in the ways of Dromund Kaas he carried them out with ruthless efficiency. His tactical mind was soundly adept in performing his duties and coordinating groups of soldiers.

As the Sith returned, Venthis Habrak was overjoyed. He could not have been happier then on the day he officially joined the ranks of the New Order. He carried only the ambition to perform his duty with peak efficiency. This made him a valuable tool. Where other officers would seek to claw out the eyes of their superiors, Habrak seeks only to hone his skills through historical study and analysis to ensure that the cogs of his part of the war machine run smoothly. In many ways he views himself as just another cog. He does not wish that cog to be made of gold, for it would be weak, but he does not wish it to be made of copper, for it would rust. He wants his heart to made of the finest durasteel and works every day to put that to use.

For the Sith he would carry out any order, and give only advice to his force wielding masters if asked. For alternative suggestions weren't necessary. The Sith seek the end, the means don't matter, and for a military mind such as Venthis Habrak, that suited him fine.


AFTER THE FALL OF THE SITH

For many years Venthis had given loyal service to the Sith and the Empire. The coup happened so quickly that he hardly had any way to understand it. He reflected strongly on the actions of some of them, their murderous way with each other, and though he did not question it, it had caused a great struggle with many military campaigns.

By the time the question of his loyalty arose there were no Sith left to follow. He understood his commitment to service and to the Empire and did not leave, yet there remained a duality in his belief and action. The sharp change in regime, tactics, and values remains difficult for him to understand. He is still considered a reliable leader, and with the Sith gone he has learned to cease his fear and found a more inquisitive mind.

Personality

Venthis Habrak is a dry whit amongst his contemporaries. He has a stern hand when it comes to subordinates, a well tempered manner in front of superiors, and a brutal coldness to dissidents. He sees himself as a patriot of his world and for the cause of the Sith, who seek to rebalance a galaxy in chaos. He does not appreciate jokes at the expense of the cause or the Sith, and while many of his superiors see him as nothing more then a very sharp tool, he is perfectly content to be this. To serve the Sith with command of its forces would be the lifelong ambition, not for himself, but for those generations that would be saved by being liberated under their New Order. Venthis is an honorable man by nature, and while he is willing to carry out orders of utter cruelty, he does not does take pleasure in it nor does he advocate for measures unless called for.

Skills

Venthis Habrak has one of the greatest minds for strategy. He lives to practice simulation of small and large unit tactics and operations. He does not rule out any angle of use, and will use any asset he can muster to win an absolute victory. He keeps himself in good physical condition and is good at discerning value in others, even without their stating it. He is not manipulative by nature, but seeks only to accomplish the mission before him in service of the ultimate goal, which is victory. He is well trained in use of his service blaster pistol, and is as capable as any soldier in battle, but not remarkable in this way. His talents lie in his ability to read the field and do what must be done to win.
