◇ ◇ ◇

HISTORY

Vjun is renown for its Acidic and volatile terrain. Whether it was always this way is up to debate, but it is a known fact that long ago, beings known now ago Vjunites, populated this planet. These being where force sensitive, and in ancient times they had little connection to the outside galaxy. Historians suspect that one very powerful being, remembered as Molreaux, used the Dark Side to manipulate the Midichlorians in his species, driving them and himself mad. The end of the Vjunites came not at the hands of invaders, but at their own.

The new government emulates the structure of the Sith Empire, to whom the denizens answer.

LOCATIONS

Bitter End

Bitter End is the aptly named ancient city once populated by Vjun's natives long ago. Now, with modern technological advances, Bitter End has become a small and tight-knit town made up of Imperial Citizens and daring pioneers. It is a symbol of resilience, but ironically signifies the futility of life on the Acidic world. The closest thing the planet has to a Shanty Town, it consists of dozens of houses built into ancient ruins, covered by a mixture of panels and shields. Outside barriers are guarded by energy gates, usually manned by Imperial Personnel. The town is built into a mock valley, tunneled into the side of a mountain, just north of the Bay of Tears

Bast

Bast serves as the capital city of the planet Vjun. Located centrally on the planet's less precipitous desert plateau, the city is situated in such a way that it does not see great amounts of Acid Rainfall. The city is actually a series of docking bays, connected by underground bunkers made from durasteel and other metals, inlaid into the plateau. It is situated next to Molreaux Castle, the home of Moff Vrist and center of Imperial Command.

Molreaux Castle
latest

Molreaux Castle is a tremendous fortress rising out of the Bay of Tears, a small acid river. The Castle itself was the home of a powerful dark side Sorcerer, for which it was named. To this day it is still protected by Molreaux's undispelled Ancient Force Magics. The Castle is enormous, and of its 35 inhabitable levels, only 20 are open to civilians. The remaining 15 make up the secretive Acrae Research Facility.

Acrae Research Facility

The Acrae Research Facility is the heart of Imperial science in the sector. Located deep within Castle Molreaux, it is a highly classified location, heavily guarded by Imperial Soldiers. Interestingly, however, is the fact that the facility will employ civilian scientists that show great talent in their field. Most rumours surrounding the facility are simply layman's tales, but one rumour has been officially confirmed; access to the lowest level is restriced to the Moff of Vjun, The Warlord, and the Emperor. Even guards do not go that deep.

Ryder's Sojourn
future_bar_by_drawingnightmare-d4jpq4f.jpg

Located in Bitter End, Ryder's Sojourn in a quaint little bar and trading post, one that over time has evolved into being a bit of everything. From repair shop, to inn, it has evolved into the center of recreational activities on the planet. This includes activities such as gambling, slicing tournaments, and other, seedier past times. It has recently seen an increase in outlaw patrons, earning the ire of Imperial Forces.

LAW & ORDER
Star_Wars_Concept_Art_05_GM_BreakingIn.jpg

Crime on Vjun is minimal, almost non-existent. The laws which govern Vjun society are imposed by the Imperial Occupancy. Most laws are aimed towards the research and what is and is not allowed. However, basic laws concerning theft, duels, and murder exist.

The law system is similar to most modern system, with a court system that assumes innocence until proven otherwise. With one exception. Examples are only made in the most extreme of circumstances, and of the few sentences that have been dealt, the offenders have all been Imperial Personnel. It seems the governing body is much more lenient with civilians.

Imperial Drafting has not been implemented on the planet, due to the fact that 57% of the population is military.

INTENT

To bring Vjun back into the site with a full planet profile, serving to fill in some information that is severely lacking in both Legends and Canon. (I apologize in advance for this profile. I'm trying to create information where none yet exists. I do feel Vjun needed a refreshing write-up. And it's hard to be the Moff of something that doesn't yet exist. That being said, if Vjun is captured by another faction, this writeup will need to be edited by that faction. Sorry.)

As the writer of the old moff of vjun before she died, happy to see a legit write-up for the planet. Was the research facility a reference to Evelyn's facility or something different? I noticed the picture used was the same as one of my previous references so I was curious.

I drew some inspiration from it yes. I did change it slightly, moving it within Molreaux Castle. Acrae is a de-facto continuation of your facility
