Way of the Soldier(Training of Xakic Selmur)

[Phil]

LT. Colonel CDR-382 finished dismissing several recruits who were done with there excercises before turning towards a computer terminal. In the large training field, he checked to see if anyone else was going to show up before he left, and there was one last person. Name was Xakic Selmur, and judging from the clock, he should be arriving shortly.

Stepping away from the terminal, 382 was equiped in his normal red armour and helmet as he leaned against a pillar for the new recruit to arrive. He would only give him five minutes, and then he would leave.

Running as fast as he could he came barging in. "did I make it on time?" he said with uncertainty in his voice.

 

[Phil]

"Another minute and I would be gone." Leaning off the pillar and taking a few steps foward, 382 looked over this new man for a quick observation. "Xakic Selmur, I presume? Give me a briefting on why you are here and why I should train you."

 

[IdiotHavoc]

"Yes, I am here so that I might hone my skills, and you should train me because without your help I may be hopeless to become a great soldier." He said while trying to regain his composer.

 

[Phil]

"Exactly. Without the proper teachings of a true Alsakan Soldier, you will be like a lamb without it's mother. A word of warning though, I do not accept failure and any doubt I see or failures will be punished accordingly. Do I make my self clear, Recruit?"

 

[IdiotHavoc]

"Yes sir. crystal."

 

[Phil]

"I wasen't expecting a yes or no to be Honest, but it pleases me that you are here to become a soldier and not to waste my time. To start off, I need to know how I am going to shape you into a soldier. What equipment do you carry and what are you're prefered tactics when approaching a situation?"

 

[IdiotHavoc]

He takes our his blades " I carry a doublesided vibro sword that can split into two and a vibro blade I also perfer a stealthy approach... easier for the kill."

 

[Phil]

"Ah, so you are the kind that likes to go in close and quiet, striking your foes in the back when they least suspect it." Taking a step closer towards Xakic, he inspected the blades he had in his hands more closely. Who ever crafted the blades was a fine craftsman, they would suit this man if he knew how to use them properly.

"Double blades are not easy to master. I want you to show me what you can do with it." His own hand was resting on his sword's handle that rested sheathed on his belt.

"Well thats why I made them to snap inhalf" he said as he broke the breach between the blade handles "When things get.... harry I can use a two vibros."
He gets into a combat ready stance.

 

[Phil]

Not saying anything, 382 quickly gripped his sword handle, yanking it out of it's sheath as he got into his stance, quickly lifting the sword up and bringing it down on his trainie. This may have seemed like it would kill someone, but 382 knew how to deal with recruits, and never delivered death blows unless he absolutely felt the need.

quickly relizing what just happened hey knoked away the sword and quickly transitions from an agresive to a definsive stance relizing hes to fast to charge laughingly he began to talk "Nice technique you know how to use a sword."

 

[Phil]

"You don't get to this position without knowing how to take on your enemy both close and from afar. I want you to defend yourself from my attacks until I say so. Then I want you to put me on the defense." Gripping his sword tightly, and not waiting for an awnser to his order, he struck his sword to the mid left of his opponent, the strength in each blow was tremendous.

Surpirized he began to defend himself stoping as many blows as he could he could not stop them all

 

[Phil]

"Good, and again!" He pulled his sword away, scrapping it against his opponent's blades as he now swung for another high strike. This was where he would get creative, as he could see this man could defenetly handle his blades with ease... for the moment.

As he blocked he threw away his other sword and pulled out his vibro blade and again began to defend only this time more aggressively.

 

[Phil]

As he pressed his blade against his opponent's blades, he let him push his back slightly. It was a ruse. When he left his opponent think he was getting the upper hand, his right armoured leg came in for a kick in the stomach to send him back.

Stumbling back he regained his poise and stood there waiting for him to attack concentrating on nothing else but his opponent.

 

[Phil]

And one final pair of strikes was what the Colonel delivered, the first one going towards his opponent's legs. If he didn't regain balance quick enough, he would really wind up getting injured.

Bringing his sword down he attepmted to block it and use it as leveral to push himself over the blade.
