Ask Weekend Shenanigans

[Ke'rena]

Wake up. Eat. Help around the Temple. Maybe learn a few things about the Jedi. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.

Rena wasn't complaining. They had fun most days, but they were excited when the weekend arrived. The Jedi and workers here were given a few days off every weekend to do whatever they wanted. Some of them headed off to travel, others headed off-world, but Rena just stayed put. This weekend, the temple was particularly empty, so when they woke up in the morning and began to wander the halls they only saw a few faces.

Hmm hmmmmm hmmm hmm hmm... Rena hummed to themself as they wandered about, looking for a familiar face to bother or something interesting to do. Maybe if they found someone they could convince them to play a game with them? Hide and seek seemed real fun right about now!

Fortunately, Rena ran right into someone who perfectly fit that description. Literally - they turned a corner and smacked face-first into M'akio, knocking at least themself to the ground.

[M'Akio Beastmaster]

Akio had been at the temple for a couple weeks now. So he was relatively familiar with the layout. Being masterless every time the weekend rolled around he was forced to stay put. Something he dreaded more than even cleaning out the stables on the ranch. He had just finished his daily exercises his father made him do to be able to be of help on the farm and taken a shower to wash up. So it was time to try and find something fun.

He was running options through his mind on what he could do alone without any of the teachers or anyone here. Oh maybe he can try to use the force to push things like his teacher showed his class in a demonstration once. This caused him to jovially skip his way to a secluded area he knew of. The only thing he enjoyed other than the slight saber training he had done was expanding his force knowledge.

As he turned a corner someone bumped into him and since he was off balance from skipping he fell right on his tail. He quickly adjusted himself to get off of it not even worrying about who had run in to him. "Hey what is the big idea. Can't you see where your going. I just got out of the shower." He stood up dusting himself off and turning to regard the person who dared interrupt his good mood. He quickly realized they were also on the ground. He reached out his hand with a huff. "Here let me help you up. I also wasn't paying attention." His tail flicked about slightly irritated, while his ears laid back slightly.

[Ke'rena]

"Oof!" Rena let out a little sound when they impacted the ground, not really expecting to be kissing concrete. "Hey! You- " They were about to retort when Akio reached out his hand to help them up. Biting their tongue for now, Rena accepted the hand and pulled themself up.

Rena's head cocked to the side, their ears attentive and curious as they looked at the other fiani. "I haven't seen you around before, I think? I'm Ke'rena!" They, their hand still in his, shook it eagerly, then let it drop down by their side. "Did you join up too when the temple opened? Or are you from offworld, like L'veth?" Rena had no idea if Akio had even met the other fiani, but maybe.

[M'Akio Beastmaster]

Akio helped them up still slightly pouty. He hadn't even looked at the other person this whole time. It wasn't until they spoke in his native language he looked their way. His ears quickly flicked up attentively. "I'm M'Akio." Returning their handshake, his hand going into his pocket afterward. "Like L'who? No I'm from Fiana. I was brought her shortly after the temple opened."

He began looking around, "So did you have any plans or want to tag along with me for mine?" His ears were alert and scanning for noise. His eyes betrayed a mischievous twinkle. Though his plans weren't necessarily nefarious, he was warned of practicing the force unsupervised. He simply leaned on the nearby wall. Pondering whether or not to actually follow through with his original plans with another in tow.
