Hey folks,

Good to be here. I've been a big fan of online text based rpgs for a long time, and was hoping to find a very dedicated group of roleplayers. It looks as though I've found that place. I'm really impressed with the lore of this game, it's almost overwhelming.

I'm hoping to see you guys out there while I try to figure out where to start now that I've read through the Rules and History!

Welcome to the site! If you've already got the rules and story down, the best place to start would probably be to make a character, and go ahead in jump in! There's not really a lot more than that, that you need to do. You also might want to check the timeline announcement forum since we're pretty close to switching to a new setting. You can also get involved in the workshop forum where a lot of people have been planning for the next timeline, and it's a great to get familiar with some of the more peculiar aspects of RPing around these parts.

Thanks for the warm words, Galavant.

Pardon the possible foolish questions, but once I have a character established, is there any kind of "Approval Process" needed in order to being posting?

Yes and no. In general there's no approval process, so you can just make a character and go. However if you're joining a faction, like the Jedi or Sith, you have to signup and they'll have some requirements they may want your profile to meet in order to be a member of their faction. If you make a purely independent character there's no one you really need approval from, although people will offer feedback a lot of the time. Based on that an admin may come in and make a ruling if there's something really ridiculous and someone refuses to change it, but that's really rare.
