I like FF14 as well. My favorite are Mecha games, though, so my favorite would be the Super Robot Wars series.

Paper Mario and the thousand year door, love that game. I learned to read because of it.

Ugh. There are so many...

In no particular order: Red Dead Redemption, Beyond Good and Evil, Half-Life 2, Mass Effect 2 and The Last of Us.

How did I miss this thread yesterday?!

Favorites are KOTOR 1 & 2, Thief: Deadly Shadows (partly because it was in third person), FFIX, FFXII, FFXIV, Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (shivering isles DLC <3<3<3), Elder Scrolls: Skyrim (Dawnguard DLC was omfg amazing), Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age 2(I did not like it at first but after replaying I really got into it), Dragon Age: Inquisition and Dishonored 1 & 2. I think that's all of them. Part of me wants to put all the Fables and Assassin Creeds on this list but they aren't quite up there enough.

Currently playing Divinity: Original Sin 2 and it's pretty good. I thought you had to manually move the camera but you can press home and O for auto follow and a better (though still awkward) view.

Same as @Dread tbh. Everything Dragon Age, Skyrim, Mass Effect, and Star Wars.

Absolutely loved Destiny visually (if you haven't already noticed, I rip off from their art all the time). Although I'm a sucker for story, and the campaign was rather lacking. Still, very addictive. Same with Battlefield 1.

Oh, and The Last of Us? Blew me away. I'm so excited for the second one— just waiting is killing me on the inside.

all the Fables

Fable 1 is definitely up there for me too. I was 13 when that game came out and after playing it through the first time I dreaded the trek through Darkwood to Knothole Glade on my next play-throughs. The Balverines were seriously scary yo. >_>

Fable 2 & 3 are ok but def drag the trilogy down a few notches.

Favorite game: Split between Halo CE and KOTOR.

Current: Battlegrounds (to get those moods where I want to break a window) and more.

For any other huge DA fans, you might want to check this out:

Honestly going to flip shit if it's something like DA tactics instead of DA4. If they don't continue with the current story and instead go back in time or something I'll accept it... but not a tactics please. ugh

Is your username and internal feelings about this the exact same?

On a serious note, I echo your sentiment.

im sorta picky but sorta not, but lets go and show my age alittle.

I have an affinity for anything on calico or 2600 since i grew up on those until i got an NES in 86, and i loved mostly platforms and some of the sports games like tecmo bowl, but a few loves of zelda games, original final fantasy , dragon warrior etc.
i loved sid mayers pirates and all my X-men and NHL games on my genesis and later versions of the sega saturn and such didnt really change

what REALLY got me was around 93 when i got more into pc games. NAMELY the old lucas arts point and clicks like maniac mansion, indiana jones, full throttle, monkey island etc..and the dark forces series and a major major major love for X-wing series and TIE fighter series ( I STILL play a very very very heavily visual modified version of X-wing alliance)

but from that right now my biggest loves ave been old republic games, from kotor up, dragon age, mass effect etc but do love most third person adventure ones like elderscrolls, or the rebooted tomb raiders have been great but basically games like that... ideally the more story and lore heavy the better

Elders Scrolls Oblivion (Only game I had for PS3 for about 8 months so I did literally EVERYTHING); Skyrim (First game I modded so hard it broke); Star Wars Empire at War (First game that pushed me to write a fan-fiction); The Witcher 3 (Loved the fantasy elements with brutality, politics, ethics and beautiful graphics)
