(All apologies for my absence. It has been a very busy period, I'll get you in and you guys go ahead without me. I don't want to stall you up.)

The Toydarian was at once interested to see what would happen. These two Galactic Rangers were not so far from home that they couldn't get help, but Vako had so little interaction with them he was now quite curious to see how they would handle themselves on the floor, especially how they would do business. The only real interaction he had with them was his arrest on Coruscant, and even then he attributed that to their mystical allies the Jedi.

Vako finished his drink, stiffly and unflinchingly. Not as a sign of strength, but simply because the Toydarian metabolism didn't feel the affects of alcohol so strongly as others. It was more time efficient for it this way, that was what was needed in the moment.

"Well then let's see what a pair of Ranger's can do then." Vako he said setting the cup down. "And when the time comes, I prefer credits on a single card."

Vako fluttered his wings up and moved over to his associates at the other table. He muttered to them in hutteese and cocked his head. Two of them stood up, and followed behind him.

They approached the two men in front of the "Backroom." but everyone knew that there was a staircase behind that door. Vako, rifle still slung and with the goons behind him, spoke to the pair. The words that were passed were not for most ears, but the two guards looked at each other, nodded, and stepped away.

In their place Vako's goons now stood. The two original guards joined the table that Vako's original cohort still occupied. They sat opposite, not exactly like they were part of the group, but they were offered drink and food all the same.

That was the way of Syndicates. Whether everyone knew everyone or not, reputation, credits, a good time, and the right boss kept everything always fluctuating at their level.

Two eyes was about to learn that the hard way.

Vako then looked over to the two rangers at the booth, held up his right hand in gesture, granting them entry.

Expression turning neutral, Poet simply gave the Toydarian a nod when the latter finished his drink and went about his "business".

The younger Ranger briefly watched the exchange before shooting Zad a knowing look and a nod. Vako had already seen two Rangers, and while it might surprise him of learning that there was a third stationed rather discreetly on a booth a little closely to the backroom Poet found that he really didn't care whatever reaction it might prompt out of the Toydarian.

As the switch on the guards was being made the half-Morellian rose from his seat and gave Zad one last pat on the shoulder. Old Man Handsome by this point simply wasn't just backup – Ranger Ruzed would be the set of watchful eyes over Poet and Ranger Klepti Uutkik. If things go south Zad would be the one to alert Onderon's local police force who would serve as the cavalry once all the fighting and escaping (on the targets' part) began. Once Poet caught sight of Vako's signal he removed himself from the booth, leaving Zad and passing by Klepti. One deft hand discreetly gave the Jawa a light pat on the shoulder, a signal that it was time to conduct business and foray into the illegal casino they were about to shut down.

Vako's goons allowed the half-Morellian and the Jawa passage without any hitch. The two Rangers passed through a hallway until they reached a set of double doors. Poet made sure that his weapons were still concealed by his clothing before pushing the doors open.

"Ready for a gunfight, Ranger Uutkik?" Poet would ask the Jawa in Huttese, his hands still on the doors' handles. The half-Morellian remembered seeing Klepti passed out on the floor during the induction day back in the Lighthouse. "'Cos I'm sure as kark this op's gonna end that way. Gotta make sure we got Two-eyes and his boss in custody as well. If you're gonna shoot 'em make sure to aim for their legs."

He guessed it wouldn't be too hard for the Jawa, given the latter's height.

Muttering a "well, here we go" the half-Morellian pushed the doors open amd stepped into the hidden casino. It had been a while since he'd been exposed to gambling on this scale and as much as he wanted to comment something along the lines of "this brings me back to the good old days" he simply couldn't. Yeah, he sure as kark had some minor gambling addiction going on when he was on his late teens but... well...

He was stuck with betting games now. It's a safe form of gambling, right?

"Have you ever gambled before, Klepti?" he asked his colleague as they passed by a crowded roulette table. Across them were players locked in a game of sabacc, with patrons watching and betting who would win. Poet scanned the room and found guards in suits stationed in what seemed to be alternative exit routes in case of a raid. That could prove troublesome if the two Rangers failed to track down Two-eyes and his boss.

Relaxing in a booth nearby the other Rangers was the likes of the famous rapper Lil Klepti, but in this moment he wore his disguise and was Ranger Uutkik. The tequila loving Ranger would sit back and enjoy his rather tasty tequila. This time it wasn’t shots. No just small sips. It was strong but the Jawa had been working to handle his liquor. A skill he was definitely improving on.

The Ranger known as Poet was making his way towards the Jawa. All Klepti needed was a signal. Then the pay came. That there would be that lovely signal. The Jawa slid out of the booth and followed the other Ranger. With his blaster and taser hidden under robes, he walked into the casino they were here to bust. Not many casinos on Tatooine, but gambling was very common. Illegal as well. It was time to see how well this bust goes.

“Ibana, Ikee ami Gomjam Kekuna. Juwi witi Ikee Cuawa Da Ut.”
(Yes, I am always ready. You and I can do it.)

As the pair entered. Klepti immediately noticed all of the games being gambled on. Roulette, sabacc, etc. An infestation of criminals and dangerous men/women having the time of their lives. It was a sight to behold for sure. The Jawa knew he had to be focused though. With the knowledge he had in this mission being slightly limited he would continue through and trust that Poet would be able to identify the target.

“Ikee Uiuokka Gookalonka Ai tiki y dek.”
(I have gambled a time or two)

Guess it’s time to gamble a little. Races were usually the thing Klepti could score big on. Though, whatever game needed to be played, the Jawa would use what he learned back on Tatooine to help him out.
