Stepping out of the temple on Jedha, she took a large intake of fresh air only to release it slowly. She had been training her mind, honing her skills and connection with the Force. Like physical training, mental training was taxing on the mind, body and soul; though she enjoyed these little pleasures after each session. She once had a friend, a fellow Knight, tell her that she spent to much time training and learning; not enough time living. It was probably true, but she was what she was; committed. And her friend, she hoped was still alive. It had been months since they spoke, the day she left for Tattooine on a relief effort.

The sun, hot and relentless, beat down from above; lending a slight fraction of heat since the planet, despite it's terrain, was cold. Wrapping her robe around her to capture her body heat, she began walking down the steps in the direction of the marketplace. She loved spending time among the citizens. It was through these rituals that she truly learned what made a person act and think. Perhaps through this she could understand what made the Exiles turn from the Order, and why they had become this Sith monster.

She wished to learn more about the Darkside, not to embrace it mind you, but to understand why it's corrupting nature was so seductive; turning friend against friend. Though her curiosity would need to wait to be sated. The wound in her soul wasn't completely healed, a by-product from her first encounter with a trio of Sith. They had done something to her, but what she couldn't decipher. She only knew she needed time to heal.

Stopping in front of kiosk she frequented during these walks, she looked over the several sizes and colours of fruit. As she did, Ti Ho the owner, watched her with a smile on his face. The old man and the young Knight had grown fond of each other's company; forming a strong bond of friendship. In fact, he was the first person she befriended here on Jedha after her best friend had left; and not yet returned.

"Try the orange ones," he said tapping the tip of the basket with a long, slender finger. "Just arrived today."

She picked up one, examined it, and reached into her robe to retrieve a credit chip when he shook his head whilst waving his hand side to side. "One the house."
