Triton was known as a planet with dead moons, but they served as checkpoints on multiple trade routes. It could connect the Sith to the larger portion of the galaxy, but it would take time to establish a foothold on the planet. He was assigned another Sith to work with, one he hadn’t operated with before.

He chose to wear the Kravos armor this time, though he changed from the helmet to the mask he wore on Ajan Kloss. Truth be told, the helmet didn’t work at all with his pointed ears, smooshing them to his head for a painful fit. He had agreed to meet the fellow Sith on the planet, choosing not to take the trade lanes to avoid the toll he’d need to pay on the moons.

Emryc parked his ship on the only spaceport around. A glance at his datapad detailed that there had been a large problem here of a mercenary company trying to set up shop and interrupting the tritonite way of life. If the Sith wiped these aggressors from the planet, perhaps an agreement could be struck with the tritonite.

He stepped off the exit ramp before closing it behind him, looking around for his contact. He had given her the details of what ship to look for.

Elina made her way through the halls and toward the docks. She lived quite a nomadic lifestyle as she usually preferred to hunt in her spare time and granted her easy flexibility. She had been tasked with another Sith to infiltrate the planet of Triton and help convince them to join their side. Apparently, Triton had a problem with mercenaries and the thought humored her as she thought of the old group she used to work with. They were an annoying breed, especially the good ones.

She had already arrived at the space station and when it had struck the correct hour, she left the common area to rendezvous with her partner. When the blast doors finally opened to the dock, her eyes scanned each of the ships before she found the one that matched the description given to her. Her golden eyes then drifted outside of it and she saw the Sith she was supposed to meet and instantly recognized him. "Oh shit," Elina mumbled to herself as she certainly wasn't expecting that. The last time she saw him, he stood by the Eternal and this would seem to her, way above his stature.

But they had a legitimate job to do and she strode across the dock and straight to him. Emryc would be able to spot her immediately, her scarlet hair tied up into a high ponytail that exposed her neck just like it had at the party. Elina wore more of regular clothing than Sith apparel, actually appearing like one of the mercs they were supposed to track down as it fit her naturally. Her lightsabers were clipped to her hips but hidden from view, a blaster on her thigh as well.

When she finally closed the distance, she stopped a few before him as her golden eyes slowly scanned down the mask and armor. "Well, I must have missed the memo." Even if one was sent, she still would have dressed the same as she preferred flexibility over protection. Elina wouldn't be able to get hurt if she didn't get hit. She crossed her arms over her chest as she nodded to the doors she came from, "Our contact is at the bar. I've been keeping an eye on him." When it came to mercs, a bag of credits could easily sway opinions.

Emryc glanced over to see a shock of red hair. This was the same woman from the Sullust celebrations and he kicked himself for not making the connection sooner. He didn’t move as she walked over, eyeing her as she took in sight of his armor and mask. He remained silent as she spoke, nothing said for a moment after she had finished. The cold mask simply bore into her for a few seconds.

“I think you got just the right memo,” He said bluntly before spinning on his heel and walking towards the doors she had mentioned. He hadn’t been to the planet before, but he knew that the mercenary presence had changed up the bar scene. Normally tritonites banned all forms of alcohol or spice on their planet, but the mercenaries had been openly rejecting the laws and serving alcohol.

“We don’t want to offend the locals, so no drinks,” He said as he entered, glancing around. The bar was more packed than usual now that spacers learned drinks were allowed. Emryc looked around till he spotted a particular individual in the corner that kept gazing around sketchily.

Emryc cast a sideways glance at Elina to confirm whether that was the contact before making his way over.

After she spoke, there was relative silence for a few moments as they just stared at each other for a second. Elina eventually raised an eyebrow at him and silently asked, "Are you mute?" But eventually, he finally spoke up and then made his way to the doors she came from. "Great memo." She muttered to herself mainly when he was past her before turning as well and making her way to the door with him.

When they entered the bar, they could see the mercs that littered it. Most of the locals had either been pushed to the corners or just out of the room completely. It was a little raucous and they would be able to see most of the occupants uncomfortable with it. When Emryc told her they couldn't drink, Elina scoffed lightly, "You'll be a pleasure to work with." She thought joining the Sith would help break shackles placed upon her, not reinforce them. But she understood where he was coming from and reluctantly agreed as she saw the reactions.

When he glanced at her to confirm if the man was the contact, she peered back at him before just simply proceeding forward. The human glanced up at her first as she sat down right next to him and placed both of her feet on the chair beside her. From her angle, she could see the man's lap and be able to stop him if he tried something. When Emryc sat down too, he fully directed his attention to him as he fit the description of Sith much better than her. "You must be... who we requested for help." The man appeared afraid to even call them their name. Elina could only chuckle softly as her fangs would peek out.

The man peered at the mercs and then to the both of them as he slid his government I.D to them as confirmation of who he was, "Obviously you can see the problem has grown out of hand. Their latent disrespect is beyond disgusting." He nodded to the ones at the bars, "These are just the buffoons and not the real threat." Elina exhaled softly,
"Then cut to the chase and point us at the real threat."

Emryc didn’t bother answering her once she spoke again, keeping his gaze trained forward as they sat down. The contact acted as if he would pee himself, fumbling over his words as he slid over the ID. Emryc didn’t bother looking down, the mask gazing into the man the entire time. The man avoided eye contact, looking instead to the more approachable Elina.

“S-So I have the location of their main base over here,” He slid over a datapad, “You can just take that,” He said meekly, “Their presence has meant that the spacers are gouged for fees and everything is just running rampant.”

The entire time Emryc hadn’t said anything, allowing the conversation to play out. After the agreements had been made and they were preparing to leave, he finally spoke, “Why are you really giving the intel over?”

“Huh?” The man’s eyes got wide, “I uh.. Don’t understand, it’s- she’s payin-”

“You can get a cut of the tax the mercenaries impose on spacers,” Emryc said flatly, “You aren’t hurting for credits. Why are you doing this?”

The man stared for a moment, but slowly his face shifted from the trembling mess to becoming stone. He stared directly where Emryc’s eyes were, his voice firmer when he spoke this time, “Because they butchered my family in front of me. And if seeing the mercenaries destroyed means selling my soul to the devil, so be it.”

Silence hung again. After a few seconds, Emryc leaned in closer and spoke in a tone that sent ice sliding down the man's spine as the ID slid over to his hand, “You just did.”

He didn’t say anything else before taking the datapad and making his way from the bar. They would need to find a transport over as the base was a respectable distance away.

After she had spoken, she let the conversation proceed in front of her without interruption. The man would occasionally bring his eyes over to her and she would just give him a slight smile each time. He finally gave up the main base of the mercs and Elina was thankful for it. Her senses tingled as it always did when she was about to enter a hunt and the anticipation was intoxicating.

When they were about to exit, Emryc turned and raised a good point. Elina turned slightly to arch an eyebrow, slightly curious as well. He stumbled over his words but when they got straight to the point and cut through his awkwardness, he gave the truth. He really was selling his soul to the devil, or at least his right-hand man; Elina was starting to become confused about who was who from how others in the order reacted to Emryc. From the way he spoke, she could see why though. The man just blankly stared after him before looking to Elina as all she offered was a two-finger salute before departing.

When they exited from the bar, Elina continued to walk as she led this time as the sun basked down on them and made her nearly gold. She gave a few clicks of her tongue as she strode forward, "It's very personal. That will either bite us in the ass or make him bow to our every whim." With emotions like that, she just hoped their contact could keep his hands to himself while they did their job.

There would be an ensemble of transports to use but instead of that, Elina made her way over to the speeder bikes. She lifted her hand and was ready to use the force to break the locks off but then she growled low to herself as she remembered. They had to behave, at least in front of the locals.

As she glanced around, she found one standing there and staring at her. Elina peered at him before tossing a small bag as it jingled with credits. It wasn't an issue for her, she took enough regular jobs to make up the dents that occasionally happened to her pockets. Elina hopped on the bike and revved the engine with a grin. She preferred the open air as it still allowed her to use her natural senses.

Emryc really didn't seem like the type for conversation, so she peeled out with a wide turn before shooting off towards the direction of the base.

Emryc walked behind Elina, noting the different ways the sun reflected on her skin. Firrerreo truly were marvelous creatures, and the ones he had met thus far certainly kept his attention. His musings never passed his lips as she spoke, instead a curt reply offered to her, “Then make sure it’s the latter.”

He watched with mild amusement as she went to take the bike, but opted to behave instead. The local was blatantly staring and happily took the credits. Emryc didn't see the point of getting two and he stepped forth and hopped on behind her.

“Go straight till you see a giant rock that looks…” He stared at the datapad, “Like a dick,” He said deadpan, “And then take right and an immediate left to get us to the base,” He said as he grabbed onto her to stay on the bike.

It would take them almost twenty minutes to spot the very obvious and massive rock formation that was rather uncanny. However, almost immediately a short distance from it were some figures that walking around. It appeared that there were patrols set up away from the base and their arrival would be passed onto the facility if they weren’t careful.

Make sure it was the latter as if she could control him with just her thoughts. During her time as a merc, she learned that she always had to expect the worse. When she got on the bike, Emryc followed after her and hopped on as well. The bike dipped a few inches with the inclusion of his armor. He mentioned going straight till she saw the rock that appeared like a massive dick as she pulled out from the town. Elina slowly turned toward him before shaking her head slightly, "Could be taken as the sign that we're about to get karked in the ass by him."

"Hold on tight, darling. I like to go fast."
With a quick flex of her wrist, the bike responded with a roar and shot them out. By the time they reached the gate, they were already full speed and blew some sand onto some onlookers. The speeder cut through the sand easily as her scarlet hair would whip behind her and directly into Emryc's mask.

With the speed she rode with, she cut down the time of the trip by quite a few minutes. Elina slowed down their speed so the rumble of the engine couldn't be heard. They came to a full stop as she trained her gaze forward toward the patrols. Her pupils constricted as she used her exceptional sight to see how many of them there were. "Eight in total." That wasn't a big deal for the two of them and she swung her leg over to get off.

But as she stepped forward, something caught her attention on the dick and she squinted her eyes before they widened immediately after. There was a reflective glint and she dove to the left as a sniper bolt soared through the air toward them. It grazed across her arm before she hit the sand and the bolt would only land a few inches away from Emryc. Elina let out a feral snarl as she glanced at her arm, the burnt skin slowly restitching itself and painfully. When it was fully repaired, it left a silver streak across her right arm.

Her head snapped toward the rock and then to the patrols that still haven't moved but were staring in their direction. "I stand corrected, nine." The patrols hadn't descended upon them yet but it would only be a few moments when they would realize the two weren't animals or some merchants.

Emryc looked up as Elina mentioned how many there were. He certainly didn’t have her eyesight, but he also wasn’t the type to wander out into the open. He knew his own limits and had stayed back further, which meant he watched her take a hit and quickly backpedal. He had already found some cover in the form of some large boulders. The bright red hair probably didn’t help either.

He simply sighed while he crouched behind the boulder, “Now we’ll have to kill everyone,” He said with a tone of mild annoyance. It sounded like effort and it meant the sniper would likely comm in what he saw. Emryc walked around the perimeter, keeping a low profile as the other patrol members began to come closer to investigate. They came around the left flank and out of view of the sniper. Perhaps the situation could be salvaged after all.

Three of them had arrived nearby and Emryc coiled the Force around two of them to yank them towards the boulder. They screamed as their bodies hit with a thud, a saber swinging out to fly through the air to impale the chest of the third man. Emryc stepped around as he walked over to crouch beside one of the men that was groaning against the boulder.

He calmly unclipped the comm from the merc's hip and turned to the man, the Force weaving into his mind as he shoved the comlink into his hand. The man’s eyes glazed over as he brought the comm to his mouth, “False alarm...just some merchants passing by….we have turned them back...over,” Emryc plucked the comlink from his hand, stepping back as the Force continued to drill into the man’s mind till his conscience was erased.

He turned over to Elina, “Maybe you did get the wrong memo,” He said coolly.

When she turned, there was Emryc already in cover and behind a boulder. He commented with annoyance that they would have to kill everyone and she rolled her eyes, "Oh file a complaint." Both of them knew death was nothing to each of them. She did stay low however in order to make sure that she wasn't shot at again. Elina sniffed the air a few times and could catch the scent of each merc that was closing in on them.

She silently signaled to them that they were being surrounded and she went the opposite way of him. Elina remained crouched, the scent of two mercs closing in on her as well. When she could hear footsteps, she knew they would be out of sight from the sniper. One of the mercs first turned the corner and she used her natural speed to get the drop on them. Her leg shot out and connected right into the man's knee. He dropped immediately onto both knees and Elina covered his mouth when she got behind him.

The saber on her hip flew directly into her hand and she turned while activating it at the same time. The second merc wasn't expecting the ambush and her natural speed made him miss what happened to his partner. The crimson blade erupted from the initiator and went directly through the helmet of the merc and into his mouth. She flicked the blade up and killed him right then before impaling through the chest of the one with the broken knee in one smooth motion.

When she came back around, she found Emryc forcing the merc to speak into his headset and clear the situation. That was a useful trick and she realized the proficiency of the force required to pull it off. He was more powerful than she expected. When he commented about the memo, she could only smirk back sarcastically, "Maybe it was the sender of the memo who karked up." There hadn't even been a goddamn memo.

Elina then glanced at the bodies that surrounded both of them. "The sniper is gonna question this in a few minutes." They were on a time limit before the entire base knew of them. Without waiting for Emryc, she proceeded forward and followed the dunes to get as close as she could.

“Wait-” Emryc sighed as Elina was off yet again. He decided that she was absolutely worthless on stealth missions, and he quickly began to recalibrate the approach here. He strode out into the open then, walking forth as if he were on a morning stroll. His hand jutted up and flicked to the side and a loud scream was heard overhead. The sniper had been yanked clean off and landed with a sick crunch on the ground.

The remaining men began to yell and shout as two of them rushed towards Emryc from the side. The Force rippled through the ground towards them as boulders from both sides slammed into the two men, crushing them in between. Emryc stepped past the mangled, dead bodies and saw another man bolting in the opposite direction. The Force gripped around his head to hold it in place while the rest of his body launched forth in full momentum, severing the brain stem.

This left just one person for Elina to take out as Emryc quietly came to stand beside her. He gazed ahead towards the base, “It’s a wonder you’ve made it this far,” He muttered icily.

Elina closed the distance fast towards the dick. She really wasn't the best for stealth missions and like her hair accurately represented, she could be sort of a hothead. She reached one of the final dunes and she began to run up towards the crest of it. When she reached it, she used the force to build around her legs before leaping in the air. With her natural strength as well, she could go quite a distance.

She landed near the base of the dick and around the remaining patrol. One faced her and he lifted his blaster but with a flick of her wrist, the weapon was ripped out of his hand. The merc then pulled out a vibro-sword and charged right at her. Elina unclipped her sabers and activated both, the crimson blades erupting out. She caught the first strike between her two blades and pushed it down towards the ground and to the right. Elina stepped forward afterward and slammed an elbow into the merc's jaw, forcing him to stumble back and dazed.

With the vibrosword still between her blades, she held it there before flinging it toward the merc as he recovered. The force would straighten out the weapon to have it impale him through his chest and send him on his back. When she turned, she had already found Emryc dealt with the others, and managed to catch him when he practically severed someone's head without a blade. Uncontrollably, her thoughts drifted back to the party and the difference between who she was with currently and then. There was an edge to him that hadn't been revealed until it was finally demanded.

"It's a wonder how you managed to turn into an absolute joy, especially since the party." First, it was the rules and then this. He was much looser when they first met. She glanced towards Emryc's armor and then glanced in the direction of the sun, "You can't even enjoy the sun right." The Sith must have been burning inside that armor as they were in a desert. The base wasn't far but the two of them wouldn't be able to tell if a message had gotten out or not. Instead of testing the speeder once more, Elina decided to walk this time.

“I enjoy business and pleasure separately,” He said curtly in response to her words. It was certainly jarring for people to see the different aspects of him. He had no doubt that she would be taken by surprise if she ever saw him performing his diplomatic missions. Emryc didn’t say anything about the sun comment, though he did privately agree. The sun was bearing down on them and he was definitely hot, but the clothing was still breathable.

He stuck to cover as he made his way forward, walking along the edges that had overhanging boulders and canyons along the way. Thankfully the path wasn’t completely flat to where they would be seen a mile away. A few steps closer and he could make out men on top of the roof. They were walking back and forth, actively looking for something.

“They’re alert but the scouts didn’t confirm anything in,” Emryc observed based on how the men were moving and the lack of reinforcements being sent to the front. They were on the lookout for something, but they hadn’t been told it was two intruders or anyone armed, just that there was activity spotted near the 'monument'. He turned to look at Elina when they were much closer to the base.

“How are we doing this?” He asked with mild amusement.

When he commented that he enjoyed business and pleasure separately, Elina laughed softly. "I have a feeling that's only half true." She could have been wrong but it felt like she wasn't. He seemed like the type to do damn well what he pleasures, even during pleasure or business. He was quiet about the sun comment however and she knew she got him on that front. It was a miracle to her that she wasn't able to smell him yet but that could be a compliment to him, especially with her nose.

Emryc asked her how they were doing this and she stared straight ahead at the scouts, the gears turning in her head. But a few seconds would pass and she would arch her eyebrow up in confusion before beginning to sniff. Elina tilted her nose to the left and then the right, attempting to catch the scent before Emryc was able to see her pupils constrict once she had it. "Ooohhh, I found you." She mostly talked to herself when she said it, clearly excited. Elina continued down the canyon and the cover is provided, her movement cat-like. "Follow me."

They would take small twists and turns through crudely created paths and the pair would eventually end up at a small cave in one of the rock walls. There were bushes and other fauna that covered the outside decently enough but not completely. It appeared completely normal but Elina grinned as she gazed upon it. The scent was even stronger than before, the smell of nicotine being one that was she quite familiar with.

Inside, it was quite a wide cave and speeders were parked all alongside each other. By the entrance, there was a merc but he was sitting in a chair, one of his hands covering his ciggarra as he ignited it. The man was utterly bored and resulted in him not taking precautionary measures. A small pair of gold eyes would be inching closer and closer without his knowing the entire time. When they were close, Elina leaped from the shadows and activated one of her lightsabers as it pierced through the guard's chest and his chair easily.

The merc just slumped in it before she yanked her blade out. Elina glanced at the speeders and then at the large metal door at the end of the cave. She walked over to it quietly and ran her hand along the metal, taking a few more sniffs as she did. "I can smell them further past this. It will lead inside the base but I don't know where." It was a combination of alcohol, sweat, spice, and blasters. They had obviously found the escape tunnel and that limited the chances of these mercs even more while giving them an in.

Emryc watched as she visibly sniffed the air, quirking an eyebrow beneath the mask. He said nothing, allowing her to lead the way. Their path led them away from the direct one to the base, but he didn’t bother questioning her. His pace was relaxed and casually walked behind her, letting her do her sniffing and tracking. He was actually surprised and somewhat impressed when Elina found a cave path. Judging by the speeders and other vehicles, it was clearly connected to the mercenaries at the base.

He waited as she took care of the guard, watching with vague interest as she did all the work and pointed out a path that led forward. And then there was more sniffing the air, “Perhaps I ought to put a leash on you,” He muttered quietly. If she looked back, he would pointedly be looking the other way, giving no indication that he had said anything. Some of these speeder models were quite nice, after all.

Emryc followed her to the metal door, his sensitive ears not picking up any mercs talking on the immediate other side of it, “Their focus will be on the front of the base,” He explained based on what he observed earlier, “This path will likely be clear.”

He walked over to grab the datacard from the dead guard, using it on the terminal to open the door. As expected, it was empty on the other side, but it looked like it went on for a bit. Emryc began to walk in, keeping alert as he glanced around. From the looks of it, the space had served as a prison. There were a few empty cells, but many of them held tritonite in them, the insectoid species looking weak and frail.

Emryc only muttered her but her ears caught it without a problem. A smirk touched her lips as she turned to find him pointedly looking at the speeders. When she turned back to the door, Elina cocked her head to the side slightly as she glanced at the mechanism, "You'd have to put it on carefully, I bite." His ears would pick it up. She only glanced back for her fangs to reveal themselves if he caught it, them almost seeming to have a new edge after her comment. Elina could be quite a ferocious one.

She waited for him as he arrived at the door. He didn't pick up anything as well and that meant it was clear. His explanation made sense and gave him a nod. Emryc picked up the datacard before opening the door for them as Elina stepped through first. She could see perfectly in the dark and nothing was hidden in the corners or there at least didn't appear to be defenses. They both walked through and were able to witness what they used the space for. It was a pseudo prison and some of the tritonite inside barely too weak to get up. It was unfortunate that they didn't appear in fighting condition.

Elina kept walking beside Emryc and was making her way towards the next door to lead further in the compound. But about halfway, she stopped and exhaled softly. She turned around and made her way back to the cells that had occupants. She made sure that they weren't connected to an alarm before activating one of her sabers. She can began cutting down each cell until each tritonite could walk out of their own free will.

One of them approached Elina and she deactivated her lightsaber, "How many are there?" The tritonite glanced at her and then at Emryc before taking its fingers and counting out about dozen to them. "Any large ordnance?" The insectoid just shrugged its shoulders, unable to confirm. Elina pointed to the door behind them, "Head out that way. Wait around those speeders, don't leave without us." The tritonite nodded before turning slowly and ushering the others out.

Elina turned back to Emryc, "Good appearances never hurt." She would have preferred to use them as bait at least for the mercs but again, she had to behave. It was all about making them appealing to the local government.

Emryc couldn’t help but smirk at the response from Elina having overheard him. He said nothing aloud, his focus on the mission at hand. She freed the tritonite - a move he fully supported. As usual, he let her do all the work, not stepping in unless he needed to. He could appreciate when someone else took charge and he had less work for himself.

A dozen didn’t sound unmanageable, but he questioned how recent a prisoner’s data was. He stopped by any prison cells that weren’t opened by Elina, surprised to find a few with humans in them. They scurried out towards the door to escape, though two of them paused to look at the two Sith.

“If you need people to help you take down this base, you have us,” One of them said with passion in his voice.

Emryc paused and stared for a moment before giving a wave of his hand, “Go ask the lady, I’m sure she’ll have ideas on how you can die the best.”

He didn’t waste time engaging in further dialogue, making his way deeper through the labyrinth that were the dungeons. After navigating for a bit, the path led to a dark tunnel. Elina would be able to hear some voices above and after a few moments, so could Emryc. As always, he was perfectly okay letting her go first - maybe with her new friends too.

With the tritonites gone, Elina continued down the hallway with Emryc before the human prisoners called out to her too when she finally passed them. She turned back, not really having noticed them at all but they seemed determined to get some revenge. They at least didn't appear frail enough to be taken down by a gust of wind and that was good enough for her. Emryc really didn't give them encouraging words and she gave them a shrug as she continued on with him, "He's always this lovely."

He went first and led the way for the group. The prisoners were in the middle with Elina at the rear. Her eyes watched the prisoners to check they didn't try anything but they still seemed eager to help for some reason. Voices could be heard above her at least and it sounded only like a small squad. When Emryc stopped and didn't say anything, she did as well but arched her eyebrow at him. The prisoners looked between them confused as they couldn't hear the voices with their ears. Eventually, she sighed before waving her hand haphazardly, "He's also really funny too." Her words ended with a look at him.

But Elina angled her head upwards anyway, honing in on the voices as she slowly stepped around and positioned herself just right. She used both her hands to push the flaps of her jacket back before flicking them upwards as her sabers flew from their clips and activated their blade's mid-air. They pierced through the ceiling easily and with a wide circular motion of her arms, the two sabers performed a wide and perfect circular cut.

The circle that was cut out from the metal fell cleanly as did a couple of legs and then a couple of bodies afterward. Elina's lightsabers simply levitated through the air and back into their clips. The two mercs that dropped were still alive and writhing in pain as they each held their new carburized stumps but she quickly finished them off and cut out the noise. "You're all welcome." She murmured before leaping in the air and through the hole with the force.

Elina landed gracefully and scanned the room to find nobody else. It seemed like a communication room, equipment sprawled out on tables. Some of it was destroyed, others seemed recently created but she didn't let her attention linger. "Clear." She called down before stepping back.

Emryc said nothing as Elina advertised him. He decided she was good for publicity - sometimes people didn’t quite get the hint that he wasn’t exactly a teddybear. He glanced back and met her gaze as they all stood in silence for a moment, the workers in between confused. Emryc was no better, blankly staring at the firrerreo till she quickly got to work.

The two mercs fell and she made short work of them before jumping up. Emryc sighed as he walked over to stand beneath the hole, “You couldn’t take these people up with you?” He grumbled before glancing down at the workers. The Force coiled around them, launching them up. Just to add flavor, he ensured they landed directly on Elina. But it was easy enough to chalk it up to lack of visibility.

Emryc jumped up easily enough, backsliding into the edge in a fluid motion. He glanced around and noticed the comms around them. He walked over and tuned into the shared frequency, picking up chatter of the mercenaries. It sounded like they were still on alert, but nothing had been sighted yet.

He picked up one of the comlinks and spoke into it, “All personnel report to the mess hall,” He said, “I repeat. All personnel report to the mess hall for roll call,” It was standard practice when things went awry. Emryc had let Elina lead thus far, it was her turn to sit back and watch.

He turned to look at one of the workers, “Where’s the main terminal?” Emryc followed when the man began to lead. The facility workers all began to shuffle towards the mess hall, leaving the path clear.

When Emryc arrived at the terminal, it had been abandoned hastily and was still logged in. He got into the system, watching the cameras that showed every last man in the mess hall, looking around. Emryc quickly called for a building lock down for an emergency, raising an alarm. This promptly shut the doors and locked everyone in place.

This was when Emryc took out the federal ID he had swiped from the contact at the cantina, overriding the protocols for this room. He calmly turned to one of the workers, reaching into the folds of his cloak that he wore so he could carry things without attracting attention. This was the explanation for why he dressed the way he did in the desert.

Out came several dioxis grenades he had obtained on Malastare. Once dropped into the mess hall, they would instantly poison and kill everyone in there. He handed them to the worker, “Climb into the vents and drop them into the mess hall,” He said with a bored tone before waving the worker off. Emryc turned to watch the show from the cameras in front of him. He didn’t look at Elina while he spoke, “Care to watch a movie with me, m'am?"

Elina didn't even make a step out before she heard Emryc call out to her and complaining about lifting the workers up. He wouldn't see her but he would hear her, "Strong man like you shouldn't have a problem with it." But then she heard a swoosh and she quickly turned around to find the two men heading straight for her. "What the shit!" She stumbled out of the first one and when the second one came, she unapologetically kicked him in the stomach to avoid the collision as he coughed on the ground.

She made her way to the door, half expecting the group of them to continue on through the door and let the carnage begin. But instead of that, Emryc went to the comm station and start putting his own plan to work. As he started to work on it, Elina simply pulled a chair to her, flipped it around, and sat on it with her arms resting on the spine. As Emryc spoke into the mic, her eyes widened as she simply stared, Holy shit, he's doing something.

When he turned to speak to the worker, he would find Elina just sitting there with her cheek against her palm as she watched with intrigue. The mercs all gathered to the mess hall and when he left for the main terminal, she finally got up from her chair and followed. It was nice, doing nothing and she understood why he enjoyed it so much. Emryc typed on the terminal and initiated a lockdown of the base, flooding the base with emergency lighting as Elina cast a glance towards one of the lights. When he pulled out the dioxis grenades, it clicked for Elina and she couldn't help but smile at him. She was truly impressed and realized there was absolutely more than just a pretty face under that mask.

The worker ran off with the grenade and when he asked her to watch a movie with him, Elina could only chuckle as she shook her head and stepped to be beside him. "I didn't even think your vocabulary could permit you to ask a question such as that." She was always firey. It would only be a minute or so before the two of them would witness the mess hall became filled with gas. Mercs would begin choking, some grabbing onto their throats as they uncontrollably coughed. A couple even shot themselves, deciding to make it quicker in the end.

Elina watched amusement and eagerness and when the last merc finally dropped, she crossed her arms over her chest and cast a glance to Emryc, a smirk on her lips, "I'll give it to you, that was good." She then gave a shrug, like it was painful to give him the win, "You got great taste."
